We dunked our heads in pure water and sharpened our steel. We had been preparing for this moment for 2 months. As of what we had last seen, there were 8 Monquistan ships readily waiting for anyone trying to get into Aquila. We were preparing to finish off an army. Hell we could destroy a whole war. Every man aboard The Scarlet Rose, all 492 of them had blades and clubs and muskets keened to the max. Every man aboard The Scarlet Rose had their will raised higher than the heavens. And every man aboard The Scarlet Rose was ready for blood.

The Mighty Ship sailed slowly towards the Stormgate; there were 200 men in the cannoneers roosts, and 292 men aboard the decks with weapons raised high. Benjamin was steering, Captain Yellowfish had his musket from the Polarian war in hand. The Captains musket was the one who had brought Napoleguin to his knees. The Captain swore an oath for his student Martin Everret that he would not touch anyone who surrendered. Every man aboard swore the same oath.

The ships were in sight. However there were not 8. There were 42.

42 ships.

The will and hype that The Roses men had acquired had slowly turned into a blank stare. There was no telling that any of us could survive 42 ships packed full of Monquistans waiting for us to arrive.

Captain Yellowfish was the first to speak.

"MEN OF THE SCARLET ROSE" He bellowed "WE WILL NOT TURN BACK. SOMEONE ABOARD THE ROSE WAS A TRAITOR. HE IS NO DOUBTLY ABOARD ONE OF THOSE SHIPS. THIS IS YOUR CHANCE FOR GOLD AND RICHES BEYOND IMAGINE. THIS IS YOUR CHANCE FOR REDEMPTION"

Slowly every man aboard the rose raised steel and shot high and began to scream and chant. This was it. One ship against an entire army. The Captain ran into his cabin and came back with a long telescope. He looked out to the Monquistan Army. Aboard the crow's nest of the Biggest Monquistan ship was a pirate. Eric Young. The second best marksman on our ship. He had to Cool Ranchman revolvers pointed straight at The Rose.

"Why would he turn on us now?" Leon asked

"He doesn't want us getting to the prize" Benjamin said

"What do you mean" I asked

"Last night he told me if that much gold was even worth bringing into the world" Benjamin said "He said it's simply to powerful"

"Aye. He has a cause" The Captain said "A cause will get you far. Until you break it"

"So can we take these ships?" Quincy asked

"At this point is seems just to impossible" Leon sighed

"Listen men." The Captain "when I was young, I boarded a ship called The Casa De Meerut. Martin's father's ship. I boarded it to get away from the life I was being dragged into. The crew first mutinied because Martins Father had brought his mother aboard. The second crew mutinied because they disagreed on whether to kill Martin or not. The side who did not want to won. Finally after several more mutiny's the ship was left down to just 7 people. I, Benjamin Forte Casa Duarte, Morgan Lafitte, Francisco Lemoyne, Jermaine Long, and Muja Hata Looka. We sailed the desecrated ship to corsairs cove were we trained Martin into the greatest pirate ever. Our reasoning was that the original man who decided the first mutiny and killed both Martins parents is still alive. He told us he would kill them alone. He never killed an innocent man because his parents were innocent. Where do you think Martin is now?" The Captain finished

"So he's coming back?" I said hopefully

"I'm afraid not. Once Dear Martin gets his revenge do you think he'll join this life he hates so much again?" The Captain told us

"No" we all finished.

I had that into my mind up to the moment we got almost shooting range from the Monquistans. I dunked my head in water once again and cleared my mind to nothing but pure hatred for the Army in front of me.

The Rose took out 22 ships before we boarded the main ship, and the Monquistans boarded us. The Rose was almost burnt into a charred raft. The Rose would never sail right again, if it ever sailed again at all.

The fight was an epic. There were 1800 Monquistans.

When I first swung my rope onto the Monquistan ship I began to climb the nest up to the traitor above me. He shot down at me but I jumped from rope to rope. Finally he had me at a dread point. I thought quickly. My mind went into the spirit of martin. I hoped to the shaft holding the mast and ran along the thin piece of wood. Then I threw a dagger up and Eric Young was dead. I finished climbing up. Took his body and threw it into the ocean below me. I went down and walked along the plank again. I jumped down, 50 feet. Then I stabbed my sword into the mast and slid down easefully. Once down I began into the mortal fight, there were dead everywhere. Finally I looked around to find Leon. He was fighting to Monquistans when a third rushed him from behind. I tried running to him to save him from his end. But I was too far away. The Monquistan went into a slash. He hit Leon in the back of the neck and Leon fell to the ground. They then took his body and threw it into the ocean.

No.

NO

"NOT LEON YOU SON OF A BITCH" I rushed all of the Monquistans who had engaged into battle with him and ended them in the most painful way I could. I then took an Ivory dagger and hung the Monquistan who killed my best friend to his own mast. I dived into the ocean but could not find Leon. I swam up and climbed to the crow's nest. I jumped down 65 feet and dived in, plunging. But there were too many bodies in the dark water. I searched or one with a bandana. Finally I found him. I started to swim up when I realized how deep I was and how little breathe I had. I started to black out. Clinging tightly to Leon's body. I was pulled up shortly after by Captain Yellowfish He saw Leon. And he shed a single tear. He then put him down, and we rushed every single Monquistan on every ship. We won the war. But I lost the war.

Leon still laid in the burnt cabin of The Rose. I, Benjamin, and The Captain stood around him. Arms to our waists.

I had lost two of my best friend. This is all I thought until Leon coughed.

Water came out first. We jumped up. The captain performed CPR, and in little time Leon was breathing. Ever so lightly.

"Di-. Did we win?" Leon gasped

"Yes." The Captain said

"How- how m-many did w-we lo—loo-lo" Leon tried to finish his sentence

"To many" Benjamin said

"Where ar-e we" Leon started to talk a little better

"Aquila" The Captain said

The Ships surviving doctor came in and nursed Leon for the next two months. In that time The Rose had fallen apart completely.

Our next ship was of the same caliber of The Scarlet Rose.

The Casa De Meerut II was the name of our next ship.

Benjamin was the captain.

After 4 months Leon could function fine. Except he could not say anything with an S or Th in it. This made it hard to understand him at times. The remaining 187 men knew what to do next. Travel to The Labyrinth, and get the last key.

Quincy showed us how to mark the walls to know where we were going. We made it to the back of The Labyrinth in only 2 hours. There was an empty pit where The Minotaur had been trapped. Behind it was a chest. A chest made of Gold. Inside was a Jade key. They Key to Gregoro Simpilion De Manela's Godly Riches. Now just one last obstacle lay in our way. As Quincy had predicted, Iridian returned the Dancing Bull, and the Map. Now all we had to do was fight Iridian Sharp.

We had the Emerald Key, The Sapphire Key, The Amethyst Key, The Ruby Key and The Jade Key. Now. We just needed to get that Gold.

The map led to where? None other than Corsairs Cove. Where Martin was raised. When we arrived there was a small Pirate ship with yellow sails with a blue circle behind a skull and crossbones fighting Ruthless Iridian Sharps Ship, The Sky Queen.
