Drabble Ten: Poem (170)
Couple: Team Gai-centric
Warning: Not-so-good poetry ahead!
"My life was sucky; 'til Gai-sensei let me in
And with him training me; I know I can win.
He rules and rocks; his spring over-floweth,
With wisdom, intelligence, youth; AND YOU KNOW IT!"
Lee smiled widely, his teeth sparkling in the setting sun. "And that is my poem that I wanted to share with you all!"
"YOSH!" Gai-sensei exclaimed, his thumb up and his grin wide. "THAT WAS THE GREATEST EXAMPLE OF YOUTH!"
Lee's eyes watered and wiggled, "GAI-SENSEI!"
"LEE!"
"GAI-SENSEI!"
"LEE!" The two hugged, waves splashing on the shore as a seagull called out to its mate.
Neji and Tenten stared at the two. Though they were used to the two's unusual behavior, nothing could've prepared them for this. Tenten leaned over the slightest bit, just close enough to mutter into the Hyuuga's ear, "If we run, do you think they'll notice?"
Neji's head gave the slightest shake, and with that, the two were off, leaving the Lovely Green Beast and his mentor to hug and weep.
