Two years. It's been two years since I updated this. It's insane. I reread this story and realized I made many mistakes like how vampires don't sleep. Not to mention my writing was even worse than it is now. I considered rewriting my entire trilogy but will just continue from where I left off. My last few chapters in this were really badly written. I think I was rushing for some reason but I don't remember. That's what happens when you write 118 stories :p I hope people who read this before continue. (I'm writing in the proper writing format now).
Ethan awoke slowly in the early morning feeling surprisingly rested. The sun had just began to rise over the horizon, casting pink and orange colors through the bedroom windows. But the first emotion that game to Ethan was disgust. He had used a wish. Something he had promised never to do! Now there was only two wishes before Chris was once again trapped in his lamp.
The second emotion that came to Ethan was relief. Benny was no longer scared from the curse that had been cast on them. How had they broken the curse anyway? From what Grandma Weir and Chris hinted Jinn magic was strong and almost unbreakable by normal magic.
Love. That was the only possible explanation. He loved Benny more than it was possible to hate him. Benny was his other half, an extension of his soul. Nothing could break the love that had bonded them even closer than they had been a year ago. He only hoped that they would be able to find a way to force Mr. D back into his lamp because he was pretty sure that love wouldn't help that.
Benny mumbled in his sleep and shifted in Ethan's arms. Ethan turned his attention to his fiancé, the boy he loved more than life itself, or more accurately existence since they were technically dead. he couldn't believe what he had done. The memories of what he did stung him to the core. It burned his heart and ripped at his soul. He had not only tore Benny apart, he enjoyed it. He had reveled in the other boy's screams and found joy in his pain.
"E, you're thinking too much" Benny murmured, pulling Ethan closer.
"Benny I" Ethan syarted pulling away slightly.
"No stay" Benny wined. "You're warm. Be my blanket." A real smile twitched on Ethan's face. He pulled away again. "Noooooo" Benny moaned. Ethan laughed and returned to holding Benny. "Stop being mean" Benny grumbled into Ethan's shirt.
"But you're so cute in the morning" Ethan chuckled.
"That dsn gvv you the righ to bee mea…." Benny voice trailed off. Ethan smiled again. Benny really was adorable when he was tired. Maybe if he stared at benny long enough he could forget the problem with Mr. D.
At that same moment the man in question was pacing across the house he had conjured for himself. He had failed his mistress. His curse had been broken mere days after It had been cast. His failure was effecting him both mentally and physically. The pull of his master was already growing. Magi had commanded him to curse the vampires to kill each other. His curse had successfully filled them with hate and rage but somehow the two boys, the ones his mistress wanted dead over all the others, had broken his magic. The only reason he had not been forced into his lamp and transported back to his mistress was the fact that his curse was still in effect on the two female vampires the one male and the little sister of that horrid seer. That girl had an interesting strength. She was fighting the curse without even realizing its existence. Magi must not have noticed the raw magic bound to the child. If she had his mistress would have drained the girl of her magic within seconds. One day that girl would be stronger than Magi ever could have been. Of course that was only if she did not die in the crossfire of his curse.
The interference with his curse must have been the work of that youngling. Chris Morgan, the disgusting child that had dared insult him. The accident was the work of some other force. He would have not slid on that ice any other way. Worse was that the news crews had come to the scene of the accident. His master had been furious. Horace Gray had used his last wish to send the lamp deep into the forests of Africa where it would never be found again.
However after decades upon decades of servitude Jinn learn to twist words to their advantage. Every wish has a loophole. So Devnor Grandse Dargror sent his lamp to Africa… Africa in EPCOT. Turns out that disgustingly happy place really was the happiest place on earth. It was there that a young kitsune discovered him, led by the trail of Jinn magic left behind.
The girl had left him here after her last wish to do her final bidding. It was a blessing given by few masters because she had left him with his lamp, his freedom. It now was hidden under the floorboards protected by the strongest jinn magic. It was one of the most beautiful Jinn lamps. Many were like the boy's, plain gold shaped like a vase, bowl, goblet or something similar, all with a golden lid. His own was shaped like a bowl, decorated with rubies and emeralds encrusted into the carved and painted designs decorating it.
He shook his head. This was not the time to think of such things. He had to come up with a plan. He could attempt to kill them himself but it would have to be in a way that didn't violate the wish's outline. He could not personally kill them. They had to die at the hand of another. He needed to simply give a push. He raised a closed fist in the air and growled an inhuman language. Many miles away a green spark shocked a blond vampire.
So after two years and two months I have updated this story. A short beginning but I want to see how many are still interested. If I get only one or two people reading the chapter I'll need to consider shirting the story. Please review.
