For this chapter, I warn of many random references to many random games/movies/books. You have been warned.

The cat examined us. Then he snorted. "Just a couple of kittypets that haven't learned to stay away. This'll be easy."

"I'm not a kittypet, and neither is Lightning!" I growled, putting my kit on the ground and shielding her from any blows. "We're just passing though, let us past."

"No cat is 'just passing through'."

"Well we are," Lightning hissed. "Let us through."

"Who's gonna make me?"

"Me."

Both Lighting and I spiked our coats, making us look twice the size of the cat. He saw this, or perhaps it was the glint of our battle-ready claws, and shrank back. "Okay! Okay! If you want out, follow me."

"And how do we know that you will show us the way out and not lead us into a trap?"

He glanced fearfully up and down. "I'm not gonna be able to hurt you! Look! I'll give you a place to rest, just don't hurt me!"

"Wait a minute," Lightning murmured. "I recognize you. Your voice. What's you name?"

"My name? My name is Tigger, how do you know me?"

"Tigger! It's me! Lightning! Remember? The Cave? A few seasons ago? You showed me and Laura music?"

"Lightning? Lightning! It's you! I didn't recognize you when you wanted to kill me!"

"The Cave?" I asked.

They both looked at me. "A lit up cavern filled with cats. It was party central! Every Friday was spent there by everyone!" Lightning exclaimed, making no sense to me.

"Party central? Friday? Lightning what are you talking about?"

He stopped for a second. "Ooh, sorry, I forgot you don't run off of twoleg time, you run off clan time, sorry."

Tigger shoved him. "Hey, remember when - who was it- Roger? The one who knocked over the colored lights?"

He lit up. "Yeah! And they shattered all around him! When they asked what happened he said they attacked them! I think that was Arnold that did that. Roger fell into the fish pond." he gave an amused snort. "He said he was teaching the fish how to swim!"

I gazed blankly at both of them, but didn't ask what they were. "Um, we need to be on our way now," I told them, informing Lightning as much as Tigger.

"Naw! Come on! I'll show you my place, you can spend the night and eat."

"Sure! If that's okay with Phoenixpaw. Phoenixpaw?"

"Sure, if we're not any-"

"Wait, Phoenixpaw? Like, a clan name?"

"Yeah, is there something wrong with that?"

"Don't clan cats sharpen their claws on the bones of others and eat every living thing?" he asked, fear edging his voice again.

"Depends, have I eaten you yet?"

"Um, no-"

"Okay then."

With a glance at me, he turned and hurried away, throwing a few words over his shoulder. "Come one! We're not too far away."

He was way ahead of us by the time we had grabbed the kits, who were fast asleep, and we had to track him by scent. The trail led us to a cave, it had a small entrance, and as we slipped through, the scent of cats became very strong, but Tigger was no where to be seen. "Um, Tigger!" I called.

I saw movement towards the side of my vision, and his voice echoed through the cave. "Well, well, well. Welcome, to my LAIR. Lightning and an apprentice huh? Ooh, I'm really scared."

He jumped down and looked at me. "I forgot your name, so I'm gonna call you Erza." He looked at Lightning. "You're still Lightning."

"Um, my name's Phoenix-"

"Silence Erza, silence."

"But-"

"He said silence."

"Okay, fine."

"As for me," Tigger began. "You may know my name is Tigger, but I'd prefer to be called one of my nicknames."

"Oh here we go," Lightning murmured.

"First, notice how this cave is perfectly symmetrical." he waved his tail around the perfectly round cave. Every notch and nick was matched on each side, and it looked like someone took two copies of the same wall and put them together. I nodded. "That leads to one of my nicknames. Some call me, 'Death the Kid'. Some call me 'Castiel'," he lowered his voice. "For my macho manly voice. I've also been called Wheatley for my exceptionally amazing British accent. Others call me..." his voice faded into the background as I got lost in thought, purposely ignoring his never-ending list of nicknames. "So, all-in-all, you can call me anything EXCEPT Tigger."

"But that's your name..?"

"Anything... but... Tigger," he whispered, getting alarmingly close to my face. "Anything... but... Tigger."

"Why-?"

"ANYTHING BUT TIGGER!"

"Okay! Never mind!"

"What's my name?"

"Castiel!"

"Good. Anyway, follow me."

I exchanged a glance with Lightning, who's eyes were sparkling with laughter. I snorted. "Glad you know what he's talking about." I muttered to myself, picking up Lilykit, who was still asleep. He led us deeper into the cave into a crack I hadn't noticed before, and I whispered to Lighting with a mouthful of kit fur, "Well, this is the part where he kills us."

Completely not knowing what I said, Tigger jumped on a jutting piece of rock and announced, "Hello! This is the part where I kill you!"

"Ugh, stop with the references for one night!" Lightning yawned, finding a comfortable place to sleep and fell asleep almost instantly, snoring. I went next to him, and curled around the kittens.

The last thing I remember when I fell asleep was Tigger whispering, "Gotta catch 'em all."
