Ziva and the other girls were sitting at the table playing cards. Ziva had finally shut of the tv figuring when there was news one way or the other she'd get it.

Then she heard her phone go off. She answered almost afraid of the new she was going to get.

She looked at Abby and answered the phone. "Ziva David."

She heard Tim's voice. "Tony was taken to the hospital he was having some breathing issues. Gibbs is already there and I'm heading that way. Do you want me to pick you girls up?"

Ziva stared at Delilalah and Abby. "Please, I'll tell them to get ready."

Ziva turned to the pair who were staring at her with bated breath. "We have to get ready to go. Tim is going to pick us up and then we have to go and meet the rest of the team at the hospital."

The girls nodded and got their things ready. Abby came up to Ziva, "Everything will be okay Ziva, it has to be."

Ten minutes later there was a knock on the door and Ziva opened it up to see Tim.

Delilah ran up to Tim and kissed him. "As much as I hate to admit it, I'm glad it wasn't you that ended up in the hospital."

Tim nodded, "Me too babe. Well girls, come on let's go and make sure that Tony made it through this night okay."

They all piled into Tim's car and off they went towards the hospital.

[HOSPITAL]

Once the group arrived at the hospital the first thing they saw was Gibbs standing there. Ziva approached him. "How bad is it?"

Gibbs stared at her unspeaking. He finally gathered his thoughts. "They won't tell me until you arrived. That ring gives you a special pass."

Just as Gibbs gave her that information a Doctor emerged from the back emergency area. He walked up to Gibbs and pointed at Ziva. "Is that his fiancée?"

Gibbs nodded and the Doctor ushered Ziva into a back room where they could talk.

Ziva sat down and put a hand on her protruding belly. "Is he dead?"

The Doctor shook his head. "No he's not; but he did give us a scare more than once. His heart stopped twice; but we were able to get it going again. Right now he is breathing with the help of a tube."

Ziva covered her face with her hands. "Will he recover to see his twins born?"

The Doctor sighed, "We really don't know what the extent of the damage was. He has one broken leg where he was pinned under the tail of the plane, but what we're more worried about is his neurological recovery."

Ziva let a tear escape her eye, "What is the probable prognosis?"

He stared at her, "That is up to him at this point."

"Can I see him?"

The Doctor nodded and ushered towards Tony's room.

Ziva slowly walked into the room and saw Tony lying so still, so quiet.

He was paler than she had ever before seen him.

The Doctor brought a chair so she could sit at his bedside. "The twins need you Tony and so do I. Our story has just begun." She put her hand over his and she saw his lips twitch.

The Doctor came rushing over and shook his head. This small movement was a good sign.

He called out, "Nurse, I need to get this patient scanned with the MRI ASAP."

The nurse nodded and the man she loved was wheeled away from her yet again. She placed her hands on her belly and got up to go see the rest of the NCIS team.

She turned to the Doctor. "Tell me as soon as you know anything."

The Doctor nodded and showed the pretty Israeli back to the waiting room. The moment she got there her eyes sought out Gibbs.

She walked up to the older man and collapsed into his arms. "I need him to get through this Gibbs."

Gibbs nodded and kissed the top of her head. "I know Ziver. We all need him to get through this."
