AN: UM, HI! Please don't hate me; I know the wait for this has been WAY too long. I am VERY sorry the plot bunnies had run away for a very long time. BUT they have returned, at least for the moment and with this story. I randomly thought about how to finish this story while washing dishes a few days ago and I loved the idea! So I quickly reread this story last night to refresh myself (and it's actually not a bad story, for some reason I've been remembering it different.) and now here is my first chapter/wiring in a long while please don't hate. I love everyone that reviewed and has fav/followed you are all amazing!

Chapter 10

"I'll leave if that's what you want Clary, if you think the only way to heal is if I am gone I'll go." Jace's tormented face ran threw her head as she heard his voice echoing around.

"I do." The words came tearing out of her mouth against her will as she felt tears fall down her eyes.

"Okay." Jace said before turned away. Her brain screamed to chase after him but she couldn't move. Everything felt frozen before her mouth finally let her speak again.

"Only for a little while." She nearly whispered as he turned and glanced back at her.

"I am so so sorry." He said with such utter regret in his voice that Clary wished she could take all his pain away. Everything was gone and she blinked open her eyes and realized it was just a dream, again. She had this awful dream over and over again. It was never ending, the pain she felt for the last words she had with Jace. She would change back time if she could and never say she wished he would go. She curled into herself on the bed and shed tears for the man she loved and who was killed by her bastered of a brother.

She had been taken by Jonathan such a long time ago at this point that she wasn't sure how long it had been but she knew it had been an awfully long time. She wondered often if Jonathan had been telling the truth, if everyone she loved was really gone or if it was something he told her to keep her from having any hope. She was more than sure that Jace was dead since Jonathan had flung his head at her. She squished her eyes closed tightly trying to forget that moment, it was the worst memory she had and she tried not to think about it.

She could tell Jonathan was gone and she was relieved as she sat up and stretched. Her brain was so emotionally detached that she hadn't uttered a word in a very long time. She left everything locked up inside and whenever Jonathan was around she locked herself inside herself and pretended she was somewhere else. But when he wasn't around she let herself out and thought about things, like Jace. He was her most prized thought and thinking about him more often than not brought happiness. Sometimes it didn't, like when she thought about their last moment together. But she preferred to think about happier times. Clary stood up and headed into the bathroom, she remembered that Jonathan told her she was pregnant again but she wouldn't let herself feel anything about that. She couldn't be sure she wouldn't have a miscarriage again. They were brother and sister after all, too much DNA for one person to handle.

Jace followed closely behind Jonathan as he left the mall, he wasn't walking very fast and acted like he didn't have a care in the world. After the baby store, Jonathan had stopped at a chocolate shop and purchased a lot of sweets. Jace tried to keep his cool; he didn't want to risk being caught and have Jonathan escape before he found out where Clary was. After the candy shop Jonathan left the mall all together and headed towards a car. Jace was more than surprised that Jonathan would do something so mundane like drive a car verses make a portal. But he didn't question it as he literally ripped a women out of a car waiting at a stop sign near the exit. Jonathan was just leaving the mall and he didn't want to lose him. The women screamed but he didn't take notice as he entered her car and speed off after Jonathan.

The drive wasn't long, and Jace stayed very far behind Jonathan for fear of getting caught. He slowed to a stop at a corner of a random upscale street that Jonathan drove down. He watched Jonathan and his car vanish into thin air as it pulled into an empty lot. Jace sat stunned for a moment before he realized it must be under a spell of some sort. Now that Jace knew the location he was pulled out his phone and quickly called Alec, he answered after the second ring.

"You and Magnus need to get to Germany NOW, I found Jonathan." He said loudly, almost not believing himself.

Clary heard Jonathan stomping in the hallway and quickly and quietly closed the dresser she was looking in and lunged back into bed. She always liked to act like she never moved when he wasn't around so maybe he would get carless and leave a steele around or something. Of course he hadn't been that carless yet, but she was hoping. Clary pulled the comforter up to her chest and closed her eyes like she was sleeping. She heard the door knob turn as Jonathan entered the room. She heard the rustling sound of bags and then heard him dropped them onto the floor before she felt the weight on the bed shift as he laid down next to her.

"Wake up sleepy head; I have a gift for you. One for baby and one for his momma." Jonathan said sweetly, making Clary's stomach turn. But she opened her eyes slowly anyways, knowing that he knew she wasn't really asleep and not wanting to play one of his sick games which somehow always ended in sex. Jonathan grinned at her as she stared blankly back. He sat up and grabbed the bags off the floor. Clary was already slowly drifting into herself and whatever Jonathan was doing was registering less in her brain. She watched numbly as he pulled a newborn sized onsie out of a bag. It was blue and said daddy's boy. Then he pulled another bag over and pulled out a box of chocolates. She wasn't interested in either items and looked up at the ceiling instead of at him. She heard him getting frustrated with her and she was mildly amused before he sharply slapped her cheek and she focused back on his face.

"Eat a damn piece of chocolate you selfish whore." He seethed at her as she opened her mouth and he jammed the chocolate into her mouth. But Jonathan was clearly still upset as he raged on.

"I just pulled you out of the basement, would you like to go back? You dumb slut what can I do or say to you to get a reaction." He was spitting mad and looked like he was going to hit her in the face again before he glanced at her stomach and thought better of it.

"If you don't start talking to me again soon Clary things are going to get rougher around here Clary." He yelled at her before leaving the room like a giant child. Clary sighed loudly and spit the piece of chocolate she had in her mouth back into the box. It was cherry, the worst flavor. She sat and thought and couldn't really see what more he could do to get her to speak to him again. He killed everyone she loved, what more could he do to her?
