Okay so someone wanted more action between kishin-spirit and Soul and this is what i came up with.

Soul:Dude, you are so uncool. There are waaay too many repetative injuries in this damn story. I mean, do you not have anything else to do at night except think of ways to mortally injure us? I save the world and this is what I get in return? I shuld-

Kid:*shoots Soul* You should be more considerate to authors and fangirls, they hold the fate of our world in their hands

Me:Exactly. Glad to see someone's on my side. Now, let us begin...

Chapter 9:Weapon and Meister: Search and Destroy:

"Maka, it seems your father has gone missing. Stein has tracked his soul wavelngth and it seems that a kishin has taken over his body. You need to defeat the kishin while still keeping Spirit unharmed. This shouldn't be too hard considering that you have Genie Hunter on your side."'

Maka was standing in front of the full length mirror that was situated on her closet door. Lord Death was breifing her about the oncoming mission. Spirit had disapeared a week ago and frankly, Maka really hadn't noticed until recently. It was that she wasn't exactly worried about her father so she had decided to treat this trip like every other mission.

"You and Soul need to get to London before the kishin can harm anyone else. Call if you need backup."

"I understand, sir" Maka replied and Lord Death's image faded from the mirror, leaving Maka to stare at her reflection. There wasn't much to look at. A-cups hiding beneath her sweater and no curves to speak of. No wonder she was such a loner. Disgusted at her self, she turned away from the mirror and walked down the hall to Soul's bedroom.

"SOUL! GET UP, WE HAVE A MISSION!"

Soul opened his door, hair tussled and eyes cloudy from sleep. "Where to?" He yawned.

Maka grinned. "London"

LONDON:

"Im getting soaked Maka. Where exactly is the damned kishin supposed to be at?"

"Stop complaining, he should be here somewhere. I can feel his soul wavelenght. It's strong and very close by."

"Try behind you." A voice behind them said.

They turned. Spirit was leaning against a wall, his clothes were torn and his hair hung in his face over his eyes.

Soul transformed, landing lightly in Maka's poured down all around them as she spun him above her head, using that momentum to take a shot at the kishin. They couldn't risk using Genie Hunter just yet, not when they had no idea what they were up against. The kishin-Spirit dodged easily, jumping up. His right arm transformed into a scythe and he advanced.

Maka blocked and twirled, trying to find an opening. Soul stayed silent, afraid of breaking her concentration. Instict and adrenaline kicked in, keeping her fast. She stayed on the balls of her feet, her footsteps light. Soul was whipped round and round her body, keeping the attcks from reaching her pale skin. Spirit slashed wildly, recklessly as if he had nothing to lose, but everything to gain. He looked into Maka's eyes and unbearable amouts of dread coursed into her mind. She gasped. Something wasn't right. Maka continued however, remaining wary of her target.

"Maka! What are you doing? Your wavelength is shaking. If you keep this up, we wont be able to resonate." Soul yelled to her.

"I-I can't. I don't understand what's happening." Maka answered. She was scared, so afraid of the unknown.

"Take a deep breath and calm down, you're trembling. I don't see what the big deal is, it's just your dad and some pesky kishin. I've fought him before and he's not so great."

Maka fell to her knees, keeping a death grip on Soul. Spirit stood over her, both arm scythes at the ready.

"Get a grip, Maka! Focus on the task at hand. I wont let anything hurt you. You need to get up. NOW!"

She nodded and stood. "Right. Sorry Soul." She had had eneugh of this.

"Alright Soul, it's time."

"Finally, I was wondering when you'd get you're pretty little head together." Already, he could feel her soul growing stronger.

"LET'S GO SOUL RESONANCE! GENIE HUNTER!" They screamed as one and Maka leaped into the air.

She slashed downward, and the blade went through her father's torso. He collapsed, black smoke rising from his still body and taking shape. The kishin was that of a really dirty machine. Parts fell from it and clanked to the ground. The kishin roared, lashing out with it's claws. Maka dodged back. Why the hell did everything they fought have claws and shap points. It wasn't fair. Why couldn't they fight a fluffy kishin for once?

She spun Soul, but the curved blade rebounded harmlessly off the kishin machine. Maka jumped back as it struck again. "I'm going to have to find it's weak spot." She told Soul.

Maka stepped away as she observed her attacker. She was looking for a kink in it's system. There! The place where the creature's head attatched to it's body. She aimed right for that spot and...

The kishin's head popped up, it's body falling limp. Wires sparked and the thing twitched, but stayed down. It's soul sat suspended in mid air and Soul grabbed it, swallowing it whole. Maka looked away as he did, moving cautiously to her father. He lay still on the ground. Gingerly, Maka turned him over and inspected his wounds. He was cut up a bit, but nothing too bad. Soul came up, wrapping his arm around her.

"Come on, let's go." And with that, he took Maka's hand and they turned and left. Spirit could take care of himself.

Wow. Well this was a lame chapter. You guys must be so disapointed in me right now. I'm sorry. It's been a long week though. I had that homecoming thing and then Saturday, my friend Theresa died and then my bff's dad died. ON THE SAME FRACKING DAY! I lay in the floor and cried cuz he was almost like a dad to me as well (or well...kinda like an uncle or something.) But yeah... I also read My Immortal today. You know, that infamously fucked up Harry Potter fanfic that's all like uber OOC and then this happens: I MAY BE JUST A STUDENT AT HOGWARTS, BUT I'M STILL A SATANIST! ~Hagrid
