Black Wings Part 9, Trickster

You stared right down the barrel of the .50 pistol, mouth agape at all that was happening. "Go along Agent Reesh..." Fury says to Tanya. She takes a deep breath and turns her head away from you, cocking the pistol, you can see the bullet position itself in the barrel, right between your eyes. "Ah ah ah! I can take care of this one!" Loki says, walking towards Tanya, and swatting her hand away. "Loki..." Stark begins. "I am the one that led her back here, didn't I?" Loki says, motioning to you, than to himself. Fury nods "Do what you need to do Loki..." "Good, I will handle it." Loki interrupts again. Loki turns to face you, and takes a throwing knife out of his armor. Wait... armor? You hadn't even noticed... You looked at him with wide eyes, than back at the throwing knife. When you look back up to him he mouths "Play along." fast, and throws the knife into your shoulder. There is no pain, but you scream anyway for the sake of 'playing along'. You hear Fury laugh, as you fall onto your side. Loki plucks the knife from your shoulder, and that's when you noticed a large, yet not painful, deep wound in it. Loki must have put a spell on you, so you cannot feel pain. Either that or your body was producing so much adrenaline it didn't notice. You study the wound, and look back up to Loki. There is pain in his eyes. He didn't want to hurt you, even though you were not getting hurt. He hated seeing you like this. "Sprout your wings little birdie!" Someone from the back of the crowed yells. "Yes, do so (Y/n)." Fury says, sitting in a chair across the small dim room. Loki looks back to you, and takes a deep breath, closing his eyes. "Do so (Y/n)" Loki repeats through gritted teeth. He opens his eyes, and nods slightly so no one would notice. You clench your back muscles so your wings emerge. But they are no longer beautiful, and powerful. Now they are small, and weak looking. You were scared out of your wind. The adrenaline that was pulsing through your veins was like putting diesel fuel in a Prius. Loki walks behind you, and you cast your gaze to the floor. You close your eyes as you hear the sound of tearing tissue, and breaking bone. Your back felt much lighter as your right wing fell to the floor, blood pouring from the wound. You cry out in artificial pain, and see the smile spread across Fury's face, as Tanya is hiding hers, trying not to watch. "Woah! I wanna try" Stark says, taking out a knife of his own, and walking beside your left wing. "I've got it under control." Loki says, trying to get him away. "Oh come on Reindeer Games, I thought we were friends now." Stark says, pushing past him. Stark digs the knife into your back, right were your flesh and feathers meet. This time. It hurt. Badly. You cry out in real pain now as more adrenaline kicks in. "I SAID I'VE GOT IT HANDLED!" Loki screams, and Stark digs the knife out of your back. Everyone gasps, and Furys expression turns cold. You follow the crowds eyes to behind you. Your right wing was back on, Lokis illusions were no longer visible. The pain in your left shoulder blade worsens as Fury yells "SECURITY!" Loki picks you up, and helps you up the ladder, you hear a series of heavy boots falling behind you. "I think they took that surprisingly well..." Loki says, as he follows you up the ladder. Blood is still pouring out of the wound Stark gave you, and you are getting dizzy. You make it to the roof, with Loki close behind. "Follow me." He says, and you do to the side of the roof. You look back, and about 7 S.H.I.E.L.D guards are making their way up the ladder, Fury behind them. "Here." Loki says, pointing to a ladder going down the side of the building. That was until he noticed all of the guards behind you. "No time." He says, and picks you up again. He jumps down the side of the building, landing on his feet. The guards make it to the ladder, and all come down one by one. "GET THEM!" Fury yells from the top of the roof. "Heimdall!" Loki yells in the middle of the opening. Yet no answer. "HEIMDALL PLEASE!" He yells louder, and thats when you are taken up to Asgard once again.

The portal stops, and you are in the Bi-Frost of Asgard. "I must say Loki, your tricks are truly useful to others." Heimdall says. "Ha ha..." Loki says sarcastically, and puts you down. "Welcome again (Y/n)" Heimdall says, nodding to you. "Thanks." You say. You hear footsteps behind you, and turn around to see who it is. "Who is she?" The man says, he is in armor similar to Lokis, yet is much older than him, and has an eye patch. "This is (Y/n) (L/n) from Midgard." Loki says, and watches the mans every move as he gets closer. "I know very well who she is, but what is she doing here?" The man yells to him. "Would you rather Shield all over her? I saved her, thank you very much." Loki says, raising his voice. Loki steps in front of you, breaking the eye contact you had with the man. "She is to live in the forests of Midgard! A bird will not be kept in a palace!" The man yells. "How dare you call her a bird! Loki yells louder. "She is as much a human as the rest!" "No. Get her out." The man says, and turns around. "Oh ok! So you would rather me go back to Midgard, go on another rampage, and blow up half of America?" Loki says, walking behind the man. You look to Heimdall confused. "They do this all the time." He says. "I will put you in a cell, Loki." The man says. "By your name, do it." Loki says, stopping behind him, the man turns around again. "What do you think I'm asking of Odin?" Loki says, you remember him talking about Odin back in New York. Oh how you wanted to punch him too. "You want, an unwanted guest in the palace." Odin says, walking closer to Loki. "Your point?" Loki asks. "She's a crow!" Odin yells at him. "And? You have regular crows flying all over the place! You even have Hugin and Munin! She can at least control it!" Loki points to you. Odin looks you over, and you take a step back. Odin sighs "As you wish, trickster." Odin says, and he gets on a horse and heads down the rainbow bridge. "That went well." Heimdall says. "Tell me about it." Loki groans.

You are in the palace of Asgard. It was 10x better than a cage. By far. You sat in cleaning room, getting your wound cleaned only because Loki was so worried. A servant with a pale of soupy water was behind you, properly cleaning the wound. "I must say, I am glad you are getting this cleaned." The woman says, reaching the the bucked for the towel. "I'm sure." You say. You glance out the window to your left, and see the city of Asgard. It was so beautiful here. There is a knock at the door. "Come in." The servant says, and a little girl walks in. She is wearing a floor length, brown gown like all of the other servants. "Yes, Astra?" The women from behind you asks. "Is-Is this her?" She asks, her blue eyes looking at you. You smile at the young girl. "It is." The women asks, confused. She got a bandage and wrapped it around your shoulder blade. "This is for you." Astra says, handing you a single rose with a note attached onto it. "Oh, thank you." You say, taking it. "Its from Loki." Astra says, and bolts out of the room. You study the rose in your hands, and take the small note that was attached to it:

Dearest (Y/n)

Now that you are in Asgard you are completely safe from S.H.I.E.L.D, that being I was wondering. Since you are not the most well, and Asgardian food is not the best on Midgardian stomachs. If you would meet me in the side garden tonight at 20. Or in your Midgardian time cycle. 8:00 P.m. If so I will see you then

Love, Loki.
