People, please do the poll on my profile. I know I'm kinda updating late into the night (or should I say early in the day because it's past midnight?), but I can't sleep. Hopefully no one has gotten sick unlike my sisters and I. Sadly, I am going to be out on the road for a funeral. All the way to MN, and all the way back. Missing three days of school, plus yesterday (Monday), as well as today (Tuesday)! I wanted to go to school, but I was lucky to do my French project! On top of all that, I'm going to miss the day I have been waiting all tri for! *Sigh* I guess there's nothing I can do about it. Please pray for my family and myself that we make it there safely! Enjoy the chapter!

I was so glad everyone came! We had a good time eating the dinner I made, which everyone said they loved. I hear that all the time, and when I ask if I need any improvement, they tell me that I don't have to change anything about it. There was Yuki, Machi, Uo, Hana, Élisabeth, Mom, Shigure, Haru, and Momiji.

"When do you think I should bring out the dessert?" I asked everyone, wondering if they were hungry.

"Don't worry about us. I'm sure if one of us wants some, said person would ask, right guys?" Uo asked everyone.

"Yeah, don't worry, we will not starve. I'm sure a couple of hours without your cooking isn't going to kill us," Mom told me.

"Well, no one will go hungry in this house hold! I'll make sure of that, right Kyo?" I looked to my husband for an answer, wondering what he was going to say.

"You should see the portions she makes. I'm glad I can eat, otherwise we would have to have someone else over. I'm sure Tohru will make sure no one goes hungry in this house. Like she always tells me, 'Food is not meant to be looked at, it's meant to be eaten!'" he quoted.

"That sounds like her. She used to tell me that all the time when she was little. I would dig around for something to eat, and I would ask Tohru if she needed it for a meal she was going to cook. Usually, she said it was okay to eat it, but once in a while, she would tell me that she needed to get something at the store. Then I would ask her why she didn't just tell me she needed it. She said it was because food should be eaten. And you're still as right as you were back then!" Mom said.

I couldn't believe that she still remembered that. It was around that time that dad had died. I wondered what it would be like to have him around, but I guess it wouldn't make much of a difference. I'm just so lucky to have a caring mother, a loving husband, and loyal friends.

"She was like that when you guys were living with us too," Shigure reminded her.

"Well, I know she never wanted us to worry about her. When Orange Top started to go out with her, I asked her every day if he was treating her right. She always said yes, but I guess it didn't hurt to make sure," Hana told the crowd.

"I'm going to guess that I wouldn't want to know what you would've done to me. And don't tell me what it was," Kyo told Hana as she opened her mouth to tell him. "Anyway, now onto the real news and why you're all here. Tohru has something important to tell you."

"Are you pregnant? I mean, I know you just got married, but don't you think it's a little too soon to start-"Élisabeth started, but I interrupted her.

"No, I'm not. Well, yet, but it's something that you guys would never guess!" I said excitedly. I was excited to tell them, wanting them to know what they thought I should do.

"Well, it makes me wonder what it is. I'm sure Orange Top knows it, because she would tell him first," Uo concluded.

"Why is that?" he asked.

"For the obvious reason; you're her husband. I know that husband is ranked above friends, so she would tell you. And I'm sure she asked Kyoko for advice, am I right?" Uo asked Mom.

"Wow, you're good. You know her so well, that you should've been the one to marry her," Mom told her.

"I can read her like a book, and it's also because we've been friends for so long. Now spill it! I'm sure everyone is dying to know," Uo said to Kyo, both getting their competitive masks on.

"Well, it's not my place to say it, it's Tohru's. Now, how about we listen to her," Kyo told her, speaking through his teeth so he wouldn't yell. He knew how much it upsets me. All eyes turned onto me.

"Well, I got something in the mail; an acceptance letter! I'm not sure what I want to do. There's so much to choose from, and Kyo said I would most likely be best at being a teacher, or a therapist. What do you guys think?" I asked, holding my breath in. It was so quite in the room that you could hear a pin drop.

I started to get nervous, because everyone was looking at me with the "deer-in-the-headlights" stare. Finally, Mom said, "I never thought that you would consider collage! I agree with Kyo, you would be best suited for both jobs. I can see where you're having a hard decision."

Mom always knew the right words to say to me. I was positive that no matter what I was to choose, I would love it. "Now, I think I'll have some of that pie. What kind is it?" Mom asked.

"Blackberry, I think it turned out great! I wasn't sure what everyone liked, so I made something I would like. Tell me if you like it, please," I asked. I was sure of what her answer was going to be.

"Well, I haven't took a bite, and I already like the way it smells. When did you do this?" Machi asked.

"After I called you guys. Well, I was making it while I was talking to everyone. It was nice to have someone to talk to when you're baking. Being by yourself is kind of lonely," I told them. All of a sudden, I saw Kyo flying back into the wall. I looked in the direction where he went flying, and saw a shoe, and a fist. One belonged to Yuki, and the other belonged to Haru.

"What the hell was that for?" Kyo yelled.

"So, why did you leave Tohru alone?" Haru asked.

"Why do you think? I was visiting someone close to me. Besides, Tohru knew that I was going to visit her," Kyo explained.

"Guys, don't wreck Tohru's house. You guys have destroyed so many things in my house that I got used to it. Don't destroy this one though, because you'll have Tohru cleaning up after you," Shigure told them from behind.

They both dropped their stances and turned around, bowing to me, "We're sorry Tohru."

"Don't worry about it. Now, what do you guys think I should choose?" I asked them. Momiji came up to me and said that I should become a teacher. He said it was because there wouldn't be as much bullying, and my personality would rub off on some people.

We talked most of the night, and I saw that Machi was really quite. "Hey, Machi, could I talk to you for a moment?" I asked her.

"Um, sure. Let's go in the other room," she told me. I followed her into my room, and we both sat on the bed.

"What's on your mind?" I asked, wanting to know what troubled her so much.

"Well, I was wondering, would you like to be my maid of honor?" she asked, not looking at me. I smiled, knowing that it would take a lot of courage to ask me for that.

"You know, you don't have to ask me in here, because I would've said yes no matter where we were. I can't wait till we start planning out your stuff!" I said, getting all excited about it.

"Well, I was also wondering if you would like to help us plan it too?" she asked, more confidence on her voice now.

"Of course! I'm so happy for you and Yuki. Tell me when you want to start and we can go from there. I'm sure it's a good idea for the time, date, and location. I can't wait to see when you and Yuki are pronounced as Mr. and Mrs. Yuki Somah!" I told her, already imagining it in my head.

"I don't want a huge wedding though. I want something with family and close friends. You know I don't like when people stare at me," she reminded me.

"I was nervous about it too, and I'm glad that I was able to get over that fear. If you need help, I will be there, as well as whomever you choose as your other bridesmaids," I told her.

"You're such an awesome friend. I can't wait to see how this wedding will turn out," Machi told me, excited for what was coming her way.

So, what did you guys think? I still need you guys to go and vote on my poll! I want to know what you guys think. I have no idea where to move forward until I see what you guys think. If you want, send it through reviews, or PMs. I'm going to have a lot of time on my hands on Thursday, so I hope to start planning on where I should take the story. I want to know what you guys think about it! Please tell me! Even if it's criticism, which I love, I want to know. I have an English paper that my teacher graded, and she didn't put any comments, so I assumed she thought it was perfect. I wanted her to give me feedback about what I can improve on. That's what I want from you guys. I know my spelling is really bad, but other than that, tell me what you saw wrong. Also, I'm looking for a beta to catch my mistakes, so if someone wants the position, PM me. Anyway, I'm off to bed. Hopefully when you read this chapter, you'll go vote, give me feedback, or maybe PM me for wanting to be my beta. Goodnight, unless you're reading it in the morning, then good morning!
