It had been a while since Lissette had worn her uniform. While she'd been away, she'd gotten away with jeans, a t-shirt, sneakers, and a hoodie. Now that she was apparently back, she was back to wearing the dark green kimono that Atora had picked out for her. Said kimono was covered in square-shaped swirls, and was outlined with darker pieces of plain green fabric along the hems, with the Shadow Organization's Symbol on the edge of both sleeves. Atora had had no idea what counted for practical battle attire back then. Then again, the then too long skirt had taught her pretty quickly how to keep better balance, plus the color helped her blend in with trees, which she was in fairly often.
She looked at the clock. She still had a few minutes left until she needed to leave for Karasumori. If that was the place that the Kokubouro was after, then it was all the more likely that she'd run into her target again. Getting an idea, she searched through the short stack of her older sketches, finding the one that she'd drawn of Azza, herself, and their mother. She carefully tore it out of the book, folded it, and tucked it into the sash of her kimono, so that it wouldn't fall out. Having a picture of the reason she'd be fighting the guy would be good motivation. She looked back at the clock.
'Screw it, I'm going.' She thought. Forget waiting on Gen. The place could've been under attack already by the time he got there.
She stepped out onto the small balcony attached to her apartment's window, making sure that no one was looking before leaping onto the roof of the building, glad that her kimono was long enough to hide anything from any (unlikely) prying eyes. Time to get this done.

"So she's from the Night Troops too?" Tokine asked, wanting to confirm what Lissette had told her and the demon dogs.
"Yeah, she left about a year ago for…personal reasons. This is the first anyone's even heard from her in a while, and when she called Atora tonight, Atora asked her to help keep an eye on things here until the rest of them could make it." Gen explained.
"Oh, I see. You know how to work with her then?"
"Yeah, didn't you say earlier that she was your partner?" Yoshimori added. Gen nodded.
"She mostly relies on speed and cunning, and she usually doesn't communicate verbally during a fight, or discuss her plans with others most of the time. You kind of have to learn how she fights to keep up with her." Yoshimori's expression told him he was already regretting having heard the answer to Tokine's question.
"How do you manage fighting with her as a partner?" Gen just shrugged.
"You get used to it when you've had to fight her yourself during training."
"Don't forget to mention that I kicked your butt for the first year I was there." Lissette commented from the tree above them.
"Would you stop climbing trees when you're wearing a skirt?"
"Oh please, you're not dumb enough to look, and if you told him anything about me" She nodded at Yoshimori "Then neither is he. Besides, it's long enough that you can't see anything anyways, so don't be such a nag."
Gen sighed. Lissette tended to be twice as annoying as other girls, if for no other reason, than the fact that she won the majority of their arguments. And they argued a lot.
"Wow, you guys fight like an old married couple!" Madarao commented with a laugh, earning glares from the both of them.
"Are you sure we aren't supposed to kill that one?"
"Unfortunately yes, I'm sure."
"Damn"
"How rude!" Madarao sniffed, offended.
"It's not really any more rude than you were being." Yoshimori muttered. Tokine just stood there, looking somewhat annoyed at the whole argument.
"Can we please get to work?" She asked. Gen stepped back, not wanting to risk getting hit by a Kekkai again.
"Gladly, once something shows up." Lissette answered "I thought this place was usually crawling with ayakashi?"
"Some nights are quieter than others."
Lissette muttered something about having crappy timing and leaned back in the tree, probably debating whether or not to go hunt Hiba down, just to stir up some trouble.
"I'm going to go patrol for a while. Hakubi, see if you can sniff anything out." Tokine stated, walking away.
"Okay Honey"
"I think I'll go patrol for a bit to, figure out my way around the place." Lissette said, once they were gone, hopping down from her tree "See you guys later."
"Don't pick a fight with anything that's not okay to kill!" Gen yelled after her.
"Yeah yeah, I'll play nice!"
Gen turned back to Yoshimori, and saw that he was giving him a really weirded-out look.
"What?"
"…Your girlfriend is weird."
"She's not my girlfriend!"
"Then why are you blushing?"
"I am not!"
"Gen?"
"WHAT?"
"You suck at lying."
"….Shut up Yoshimori."
