A/N: Hi everyone! Guess who is back? I know that I'm gone on hiatus for a VERY long time and you guys are waiting for this chapter to come out like it's never gonna happen. But I finally get to kick my lazy back to work and here we go, Chapter 10 of the story! Sorry for the long wait,minna! *bows*

Back in Orihime's apartment, she is busy cooking in the kitchen. "I'm glad that Toshi-kun and the others isn't back yet. That give me some time to prepare dinner for them!" she smile as she prepare shrimp fried rice for dinner.
"I'm back.. " Toshiro said as he enter the apartment. As he pass by the kitchen, he quickly hide the soft toy behind his back and head off to his room without giving a chance for Orihime to turn and look at him. "I wonder if catching one of these and giving it to Orihime is a good idea.. " He thought as he close the room door shut.
"Mmm~! That smells delicious! What are we having for dinner, Hime-chan~?" Matsumoto giggles as she enter the kitchen to see what Orihime is cooking.
"We are having shrimp fried rice for dinner. " Orihime off the fire on the stove and turn around.
"Oh my.. ! What's with the mask? Are you sick, Hime-chan?" Matsumoto question worriedly as she saw Orihime wearing a mask.
"O-oh.. N-no.. ! I'm not sick. Just some flu. " Orihime lied. She doesn't want to make Matsumoto worry.
"Have you taken medicine? You should get more rest if you're not feeling well, Inoue. " Shuhei said.
Orihime shook her head and smile. "Don't worry, I'm fine. I have already taken some medication just now. "
"Leave the serving to me and Shuhei. Go get some rest while we serve the food, Hime-chan. " Matsumoto said as she pat Orihime's head.
"Alright then. " Orihime leave the kitchen and head off to the bathroom. As she remove the mask and look at her badly bruised nose, she feel sad. "How am I going to face them while eating dinner later?" she sit down on the corner of the bathroom and cling onto both of leg tightly.
While in Kurosaki's home, both Ichigo and Rukia enter the house. "We're home. " both of them said in unison. As Ichigo sit down on the sofa next to Karin, Karin gave him a deadly stare.
"Would you mind taking a bath first before joining me for TV show? You stink!" Karin poke Ichigo's shoulder.
"Give me a break! I just return home and I'm tired. I will take my shower later after dinner. " Ichigo protested as he lie down flat on the sofa kicking Karin in the process.
"Tsk! I'm going out to play football with my friend. I'll be back for dinner later. " Karin sighed and get up from the sofa. As she pass by Rukia, she point at the ingredients on the table. "You're in charge of dinner tonight. Cook those things on the table and don't forget to cook more for dad is joining us for dinner tonight. And please don't burn the food again, Rukia. "
"Uh.. Right. " Rukia replied as she scratch her head.
As Karin took the soccer ball from her room and leave, Rukia just stand in front of the ingredients. "How am I suppose to cook all these.. ?" She thought silently as she stare at the ingredients. Inside, she feel like screaming out loud for she doesn't even know how to slice up the vegetable and meat let alone cook them. "It's going to be a long night for me alright.. " She sighed and start unpacking the ingredient from the plastic bags.
In Soul Society Gotei 13, 11th Division, Madarame was chasing Yachiru throughout the places. "Baldy~ Baldy~ " Yachiru teases as she run around the places to avoid getting caught by Madarame. Ayasegawa was following Madarame in chasing Yachiru.
"Stay right there and accept your fate, you idiot! " Madarame shouted as he run as fast as he can to catch up with Yachiru's speed.
"Please slow down a little, you two..!" Ayasegawa said as he wipe off the sweat on his forehead. They have been chasing for more than an hour.
"Catch me if you can~ " Yachiru giggles as she speed up. The chasing incident began due to Yachiru feeling bored and saw both Madarame and Ayasegawa having a sake break by the corridor way. Without thinking what would be the consequences if she disturb Madarame, she jump as high as she could and landed on Madarame's head and give his bald head a good hard bite. This is what caused the chase to began.
"You are so gonna get it from me if I catch you!" Madarame ignore Ayasegawa's request and keep on chasing Yachiru.
"I wonder when will they slow down to catch their breath. Though I'm still not sure why am I chasing after them for anyway. " Ayasegawa thought to himself as he follow behind Madarame aimlessly.
Back in Orihime's apartment, both Matsumoto and Shuhei are done setting up the dinner table. Everyone is seated except Orihime who is still in the bathroom. "Taicho, go and get Hime-chan~ " Matsumoto said as she pat Toshiro's shoulder.
"And why should I? Can't you go instead? " Toshiro furrowed his eyebrows and stare at Matsumoto.
"Just go and get her. I'm going to get us some green tea~ " Matsumoto leave the table and quickly head off to the kitchen. "It would be a waste if I go and get Hime-chan. So I'll leave it to Taicho instead~ " She chuckled as she wait for Toshiro to get Orihime.
"Tsk.. Fine.. " Toshiro get up from his seat and head off the bathroom. "Orihime? Are you in there? " Toshiro asked as he knock on the bathroom door.
"O-oh.. ! D-dinner is serve already.. ?" Orihime said as she get up to her feet.
"Yes. Come out once you're done using the bathroom. " Toshiro replied as he head back to the living room.
"Yosh! Let's go out and finish dinner quickly! I'm sure they won't focus on my face while they are busy eating their food. " Orihime thought to herself and nodded slightly. She wear the mask back on her face and look at herself one last time in the mirror before heading off to the living room.
Toshiro, Orihime and Shuhei were seated as Matsumoto return with a pot of green tea. "Well, just in time for dinner to start!" Matsumoto giggles as she pour some hot green tea for everyone. "Itadakimasu!" Everyone say in unison and began to dig in the food.
"Well, it's time to eat. I hope no one notice my bruised nose.. " Orihime slowly remove her mask and begin to consume her food. After a long moment of eating, Toshiro finally realize Orihime's bruised nose.
"What happen to your nose?" Toshiro ask Orihime curiously.
"I-it's nothing.. !" Orihime blush in embarrassment and cover her bruised nose with the mask.
"It doesn't seems like nothing to me. " Toshiro said seriously.
"What happened, Hime-chan? Don't tell me the flu caused a bruise on your nose!" Matsumoto look at Orihime with concern eyes.
"I guess no point in hiding now. I just hope they don't laugh at me for getting hit on the face by a volleyball.. " Orihime took a deep breath in and began to tell them what happened during PE session. All of them listen carefully to what Orihime told them.
"That's awful! How could they mark on you like that? It must've hurt a lot getting hit by a volleyball!" Matsumoto quickly stand up from her seat and take a closer look at Orihime's bruised nose.
"D-don't worry about it. The doctor told me it would recover very soon. " Orihime touch her nose and she quickly withdrawn her finger from her nose due to feeling great pain by touching them.
"Be more careful next time. It might caused serious injuries if you hurt them the second time. " Toshiro said as he place a soft and concern eyes on Orihime.
"I will. Thank you and sorry for causing all of you great worries. " Orihime smile shyly.
"If only I was there to block the volleyball for her then she wouldn't have ended up with a bruised nose.. Wait a minute, what am I thinking? Stop thinking weird stuff already!" Toshiro quickly dismiss the sudden urge of wanting to protect Orihime and blush slightly.
"Let's finish up our dinner. " Orihime said as she continue eating her food. Everyone follow suit talking about how peaceful the town is in the morning, not a single Hollow or Arrancar was found appearing in Karakura Town.
A/N: And that concludes Chapter 10! Once again I apologies for taking so long to update this chapter for I have been procrastinating lately XD Forgive me alright? I promise that chapter 11 will come out very "soon". In the mean time, lemme be lazy for awhile again. Ciao~
