Summery: Cybertron is split. In the Southern Hemisphere of Cybertron, the Decepticons whom are ruled by Megatron have control. They own slaves, who are treated as animals. The Autobots are in the North, and they believe in equality. It is ruled that if slaves are able to escape the Decepticons and head to the north, the 'Cons can't go and get them back. But, the slaves have to cross through neutral territory, some of whom would gladly bring them back. But many of them will help smuggle the slaves north.

I do not own Transformers! I'm just borrowing them for my own amusement.

Atezza shifted nervously in her seat on the tram. In her servo was a datapad that had the name of a city and an address. It's what she'd been given by an Autobot after being brought to the territory. She believed his name was Jazz, but she couldn't remember... As she looked out the window, her thoughts began to drift to the mech who had brought her to the boundry between the Autobot/neutral territory. He hadn't given her a name, but she knew he was a Decepticon...

"Next stop! Heion!" Altezza jumped at the sound of the voice over the intercom.

Altezza glanced down at her datapad, blinking when she realized Heion was the city she was supposed to be going to. When the train stopped, she stood and walked off the tram, though no bot followed her off. She turned , watching a few bots get onto the tram and, when no more bots climbed on or off, the tram pulled away. Finally, when it was gone, she turned to see what the city was like, seeing as it could be seen through the open-air station. There was a main street heading away from the station and Altezza could see something in the distance. There were a few bots strolling up and down the street and , looking up, she saw two seekers flying over the city. Finally she stepped out of the station. She flinched when a me ch walked past her, shuffling away a little.

The me ch looked at her, pausing. "Is something wrong?"

"N-No..." Altezza says, hi,ding the datapad tight in her servos.

The mech spotted the datapad. "What is that?"

"A d-datapad. It tells me wh-where to g-go."

"Where do you want to go?" The mech asked.

"Um..." She looked at the datapad. "I-I'm l-looking f-for... Nightstream..."

"Follow me." The mech turned and started the other way. Altezza hesitated before following him, looking around a little as she walked. The passed several businesses, Altezza noticing a cafe with a few bots milling around inside.

"Welcome to the gardens." Altezza jumped, looking at the mech. He gestured in front of them, and Altezza looked up, gasping in shock.

In front of them were crystals of all different colors, various shades of red, blue, etc. The smallest crystals were up to Altezza's knee, maybe 6 feet high, while the tallest crystals went possibly 45 feet high, maybe a little taller.

"... Wow..." Altezza says, awed by the sight.

"Yeah, the crystal gardens will do that to ya. There's a park in the middle of the gardens. See that?" The mech pointed at an opening between the crystals. "A path goes in from four different entrances to the center of the gardens, which is where the park is, in the intersection. It was the perfect place to build it, because few sparklings will get lost if they're watched by multiple bots."

"... Wow..." Altezza says again.

The mech chuckled. "But Nightstream lives on the other side of the gardens. Come on." He started down a path that led around the gardens. Altezza looked at the gardens sadly before following the mech again.

When they had finally gotten to the other side of the gardens, the mech led Altezza to a dwelling. "Here we are, Nightstream's inn."

"Th-Thanks..." Altezza says softly.

The mech nodded toward her. "You're welcome."

Altezza started up the path, but stopped and turned to look at the mech. "Why are you helping me?"

"Well, you needed help."

"But, I'm a..." Altezza stopped.

"A fugitive slave." The mech said, making Altezza gape at him. "Don't worry, you're safe here. Heion is one of the first cities escaped slaves are sent to. Most move to other cities after the get onto their pedes, a few stayed here to become residents." Altezza remained silent before nodding.

Altezza turned back to the dwelling, the inn, and vented deeply. She then continued up the path, ready to begin her new life.

"I'm ready to send Icestorm to one of the moons and prevent her from returning."

"What did she do?"

"You don't know?"

"He remained in his lab all day."

"Oh."

"What has happened?"

"She disguised herself as a conductor and turned in the slave she was leading."

"By the AllSpark... That is, as you say-"

"Sick? Twisted? Vile?"

"... All of the above..."

"I do not agree with what she has done either. We now must be even more cautious."

"Agreed."

"Agreed."
