Love In Lockup-Ch 10
The next few days passed by fast, to fast and soon Penelope was allowed back to her cell, she was put on light duty for a few weeks to allow her ribs a little more time to heal. Derek was very attentive to his woman, he would do anything it took to make sure that she was safe, he made sure that she was never alone, if she wasn't with him she was with JJ and Emily.
Penelope took a deep breath and for the first time since her attack wasn't in much pain, JJ smiled at her and said, "someone's looking better", she grinned and said,
"and I'm feeling better". Emily said, "I still can't believe that happened to you", she bit down on her bottom lip and said, "I keep playing it over and over in my mind and she said that I was to stay away from Derek or I would get worse next time".
JJ said, "I bet that Savannah had it done, I never liked her", Emily said, "she has been watching you, I saw her yesterday and she had her eyes pinned right on you the entire time we were in having lunch". Penelope said, "Savannah needs to know and understand that Derek doesn't want her, he wants me and I want him and her or nobody else is going to keep us apart".
Emily said, "that a girl", Penelope said, "I don't trust Savannah, not at all and something tells me that she's gonna try to do something else to pull me and Derek apart". JJ said, "we just have to make sure that she doesn't succeed in doing it", Penelope said, "I care a lot about Derek and nothing she can say or do is going to change that".
Savannah was doing her favorite past time and that was watching Penelope, she despised that woman and she wanted her gone, Derek didn't deserve with Penelope he belonged with her and she was going to do everything she could to make that happen. She turned around and headed toward Dereks cell, she wanted to talk to Derek, she wanted to convince him that they belonged together.
Derek was getting ready to walk out of his cell when Savannah blocked his path, he said, "what do you want Savannah"?, she ran her finger up his chest and said, "I think you know what I want". He reached up and took her hand and pushed it away and said, "I don't want you and I think that I made myself clear several times", she said, "you don't mean that".
He took a deep breath and said, "Savannah, I need you to listen to me", she stood there and listened as he said, "we had sex and to be honest with you it wasn't that good". She slapped him across the face and said, "liar, we were amazing together", he laughed and said, "amazing, I wouldn't go that far, I needed sex and you well you were there and ohhhhhhhhh so willing".
Savannah said, "how can you say this"?, he said, "that's easy, because it's true, I thought that you would get the hint when I didn't try to get with you again but it's obvious that you didn't". Savannah jumped into his arms and wrapped her legs around his waist causing him to stumble against his bunk, when his legs hit the bed he collapsed on the bed.
Savannah saw this as her chance and she crashed her lips against Dereks, wrapped her arms around his neck and held on for dear life, she wasn't going to give up on Derek, not now, not ever. Derek pushed her away and said, "get off", she said, "I love you Derek and I want you right here and right now", he shoved her out of his lap and stood up and said, "I've had enough of you".
She stood up and said, "you and I belong together", he laughed and said, "I've heard it all now, how do you get that"?, she said, "I'm in love with you Derek and I have been since we made love". He held up his hands and said, "we had sex Savannah, that's all it was", she shook her head and said, "no, no it wasn't, we made love and I want that again".
He walked by her and said, "stay away from me and stay away from Penelope or else", she watched him walk away and said to herself, "Penelope has got to go", she then headed up the hall and disappeared around the corner, she had plans to make, she had to get Derek back no matter what she had to do. Derek walked over to his woman and kissed her lips gently.
When they pulled apart he said, "how are you feeling"?, she said, "better, how are you"?, he said, "I'm good now that I'm with you", she winked and said, "I can tell by the look on your face that somethings wrong". He blew out a deep breath and said, "Savannah came to my cell", Penelope and the girls stood there and listened as he filled them in on their conversation.
Dave was sitting at his desk watching the footage again, he had watched all of the footage several times and it was obvious to him that the footage had definitely been edited. He picked up his cell and dialed a familar number and after a few rings he said, "hey it's me and I need a favor", when the conversation ended he sat back in his chair and wondered just why somebody would go to such trouble to set up 6 innocent people.
He didn't know yet but he was going to find out and when he did he would make sure that the 6 inmates got what they deserved and that was released from prison so they could continue their life outside the prison bars.
