A/N: I am back! I am trying to get my muse to return so I can write some more but I have been so crazy busy. I am very excited about what lies ahead for me.
I thank all of you for your words of encouragement. My regular reviewers are awesome! CBloom2, stilljustme, SapphireEJ, riowolf, Iris and others I missed.
Disclaimer: I own no-one in the story, except for Bria and Dr. Anderson. I wouldn't mind being a Reagan though...

Linda wasn't sure what to expect. She had spent the last day and half stationed by Erin's side. She could read all of the monitors, while it showed no change in how her sister-in-law was doing, she knew that there had been some change. As a nurse she wasn't sure if it was good or not. She just kept praying that Erin would wake up and be the strong person she was before the accident.

"Linda, you might want to go up to you father-in-laws room. He isn't handling the news about Erin well and we can't get him to calm down. Danny asked for me to get you, he doesn't want to leave his dad…I'll stay with Erin," Bria explained as she stuck her head in the door. She hadn't realized that she had fallen asleep next to Erin's bed.
"Um…yeah…I'll head up right now," Linda explained as she composed herself and readied herself for what she was about to find. She has had some great memories in this hospital as well as some bad memories.
As she walks the familiar hallways, she remembers that this was the hospital that both of her sons were born in. This was also the hospital that Danny had lost his grandmother, mother, and grandfather in. She realizes that her husband has lost so much, yet he still kept going. She knew she would have to be his rock during this time. She would be everyone's rock, just like when Joe was killed.
She stops just short of Frank's room, watching her husband and brother-in-law watch as the medical team tends to their father. Linda doesn't realize she is crying until she feels the tears fall down her face. She doesn't say a word as she makes her way closer to Danny and Jamie.
"Danny, Jamie, is everything ok?" Linda asks as she inches closer. Once she reaches Danny, she feels his strong arm wrap around her waist.
"He's not handling the news well. We told him about Erin, but this happened. How is he going to react when we tell him about grandpa?" Danny whispered. Linda noticed Jamie on Danny's right, watching the team help his father.
"I can't do it. I can't tell Dad about grandpa, so don't even ask. I'm going to go sit with Erin…"Jamie replied.
They stood in silence for what seemed like forever, when in reality it was only about 25 minutes. Linda was the first to notice the presence of Bria standing with them.
"Bria? What?" Linda asked.
"Jamie is down with Erin, but I wanted to tell you she is showing signs of waking up. Now I know you don't want to leave your father, but I suggest that someone call you niece. Because at the point that Erin is now, could go either way, you need to prepared for either. Someone should stay with Frank, however," Bria explained. "If you would like I can explain to your father about Henry if you want, but I also know that you want to be with Erin as well. I will be over at the desk let me know what you decide."
Linda could hear and feel the sigh of relief that Danny released upon hearing that his sister has survived to this point.
"Danny, sweetie, Erin is strong, she'll get through this, but Jamie needs you. He is seeing his family fall apart and he isn't dealing with it. If you don't want Bria to tell your father, I will stay with him and I will tell him," Linda comforted.
"How did I get so lucky to have you in my life?" Danny wondered aloud.
"Go, be with your sister and Jamie. I will be down when your father is asleep and after I have told him."

After what seemed like hours, Frank had finally woke up. Linda had made sure that no one besides Bria and Dr. Anderson, was around when she told he about his father. However she didn't realize that Frank already knew what happened to his father.
"Linda…pop…he's gone…isn't he?" Frank asked in gasps.
"Yeah, yeah he is. I am so sorry Frank."
And together they mourned for the man they had lost.
