A loud bell rang signaling the end of the school day, and the school week and Chastity grinned as she stood up. She stretched her arms above her head and grabbed her bag up off the floor and started walking towards the door. "UHG! I want for it to be summer!" She groaned.
"School's not that bad." Chastity looked over to see Tohru Honda, one of her friends. "We get to learn stuff."
"But it's so boring! I would rather be outside… and if I could just kick off my shoes and feel the bare earth under my feet I would be so happy!"
"Why do you like bare feet so much?" Kyo Sohma grumbled as he walked next to Tohru. Both of them were classmates of Chastity's and like friends for her. Tohru more so than Kyo.
"There is nothing wrong with bare feet. It makes her more grounded." Chastity felt her heart flutter as she heard the voice of the best looking boy in the whole school, maybe the whole world. She turned to see the person behind the voice. His silver hair and light purple eyes sent Chastity's heart flying into overdrive.
"AH! Mr. Sohma!" Chastity smiled.
"Miss Rouge." Yuki Sohma smiled back.
Chastity brushed the clutch of died strawberry blonde hair out of her face, but it feel back in place. She watched as the two Sohma boys, Kyo and Yuki, and Tohru started walking home. She watched them for a moment and then jogged after them. "Can I walk home with you?"
"Sure." Tohru answered. She led the way as they walked.
Chastity grinned and tagged along with them. She watched as Kyo grumbled something and stared at them. How are the two of them related? Yuki is amazing, sweet, and gorgeous. Kyo is grumpy, rude, and average. Of course his orange bleached hair is unsightly compared to Yuki's glowing silver.
"What are you looking at?!" Kyo suddenly growled at her.
"Your bleached hair!" Chastity growled back. She would never really consider Kyo a real friend. She only hung out with him because of Tohru and Kyo.
"My hair's not bleached! Not like yours!" Kyo yelled back at her.
Chastity glared at him. "Well then maybe you should think of dying your hair! You might look better!"
"Maybe you should cut off that unsightly mop! Those bangs of yours are hard to look at!"
"Kyo stop yelling at Miss Rouge." Yuki said coolly.
Chastity blushed and smiled. "Thank you Mr. Sohma."
Tohru smiled. "So what color was your hair before you dyed it?"
"Blonde." Chastity tugged at her pig tail. "But I didn't like it that color." Because it proves I'm not related to my parents. Chastity's parents both had black hair and neither of her sets of grandparents had blonde hair. In fact no one in all of her family albums had blonde hair. So when Chastity had turned twelve she had started dying her hair. It made her feel like she was really part of the family.
"I think you would look good with blonde hair." Tohru smiled.
"I think she would look good with either colored hair." Yuki said.
Chastity looked at Yuki as she continued to walk, blushing bright red. "T-Thank you." She almost stuttered.
"MISS ROUGE!" Yuki yelled out suddenly. Chastity stopped and froze as she turned and saw a car coming straight at her. She froze in horror and felt her whole body, her whole soul, tense up and her eyes widened. She watched her short boring life flash before her eyes and tried to scream. Suddenly she felt someone grab her arm and pull her out of the way, but the terror was still running through her body. "Miss Rouge?"
"Chastity!" Tohru sat down next to Chastity as she collapsed to the ground, her whole body shaking. Suddenly the ground around her started to shake as well. The people around the area started to scream as the large earthquake intensified.
"Miss Rouge!" Yuki clutched Chastity's hand as she screamed. She tensed up but she did feel her heart flutter. The earthquake lessened slightly.
"Is everyone alright?" Tohru called out.
The earthquake interrupted Chasity's answer as she screamed again. If there was one thing Chastity hated, it was earthquakes. Whenever she felt unsteady she hated it. She also hated flying, but that was a different problem.
"HEY!" Chastity looked up as two women came running towards them. The first one had long blonde hair and bright red eyes. The second one had long auburn hair and brown eyes. They rushed over, jumping over a large crack that was forming in the ground.
"YOU HAVE TO CALM DOWN!" The blonde haired woman dropped down to her knees next to Chastity, pushing Yuki away from her. "CALM DOWN!"
Chastity couldn't, she felt so unsteady. She screamed as the ground shook violently. "NO!"
"You're doing this!" The blonde woman yelled. "You need to calm down." This time she said it a little kinder. "Calm down."
"I'M NOT DOING ANYTHING!" Chasity yelled. As she yelled it the ground shook more. She screamed.
"Kimberly do something!" The brown haired woman yelled.
"I'm trying!" The blonde, Kimberly yelled back. "Her powers are out of control with her emotions!"
Chastity stared at the two of them in confusion and shock. The earth shook again. "Listen to me!" The brown haired woman dropped down and grabbed Chastity's hands and held them tightly. "You HAVE to calm down! Trust me!" She looked into Chastity's eyes.
Something in her eyes made Chastity calmer and she felt her breathing steading. As it did the earthquakes lessened and finally stopped. The brown haired girl smiled slightly. "That's it, breath calmly."
"Good job Isa." Kimberly patted the brown's hair. "I'm glad you came along."
Isa, the brown haired woman, grinned. "Well this is exiting. But it's a walk in the park compared to life in Fairy Tail."
Chastity stared at them in confusion. "Chastity?" Tohru asked. "What is going on?"
"I… I don't know."
The two women stood up. "Now what Kimberly?"
Kimberly looked around. "Chastity was it?" She asked looking at Chastity. She nodded. "Is there someplace more private we can go to talk? There's a lot we have to talk about."
"I…" Chastity knew she couldn't take them home. Her aunt and uncle were over and hated her. They would cause problems for her and the others.
"You could come to our house." Yuki said suddenly. He stood up and offered his hand to Chastity. She took it, blushing, and got up. "I want to know what is going on."
"Sorry no." Isa said and frowned. "This doesn't concern you." She folded her arms. "Come on Chastity, we'll talk to you elsewhere."
"Isa calm down." Kimberly said looking around. "It's okay if we tell a couple people." She frowned. "Alright, lead us to your place then… um… What's your name?"
"Yuki Sohma." He answered. "This is Miss Tohru Honda and Kyo."
"Nice to meet you. I'm Kimberly and this is my sister Isa." Kimberly smiled. "Why don't you lead the way?"
"Alright." Yuki nodded. "Come on." He started walking, but he sounded suspicious and cautious.
Chastity followed splitting her attention between Yuki and Kimberly. She didn't know what to think of Kimberly and Isa but she knew she loved Yuki and wanted to be with him. She had been wanting to go over to his house for a long time and now she was.
It took a little bit but they finally arrived at a house that was almost hidden in the forested area. Yuki walked forward and opened the door. "Shigure?" He called out.
Chastity watched and jumped as a man wearing a kimono with messy dark hair walked up behind her. "I see you brought some cute girls home Yuki. Are you planning on having them stay as our maids and cooks as well?"
"They are here to talk." Yuki said.
"Alright." Kimberly held up her hand and electricity sparked between her fingers. "I would advise you sit down, this is going to be a bit of a story."
Chastity stared at the electricity and gasped. She wasn't the only one staring. Isa leaned up against the wall. "I guess there is no hiding it now." She looked at Kimberly. She held up her hand and a ball of light formed. "This should help them believe us easier, just like your electricity."
"How did you?"
"The same way you created those earthquakes." Chastity stared at them in confusion and disbelief.
