A/N: Yay! Chapter ten is here! Woohoo! Believe it! Hehe! Oh! And it's kind of my birthday...(- said in Repunzel's voice when she's talking to Maximus.) So, I updated as a present for both of us! Enjoy you guys!(:

"I-" She stopped as she realized he was right, but she still wasn't ready to give up. "You still aren't in charge of me. Who gave you the right to tell me if I could go to the hospital or not?"

"Hn." He said, smirking. "That witch you apprenticed under."

"Wait, what?" She asked confusedly.

Sasuke just continued to smirk at her, and then it clicked, his mission.

"You've got to be kidding me." She said as she facepalmed herself.

"Hn."

"I can't believe she would do this to me." Sakura said, fuming. "Having you watch me like I'm some kind of child. Ridiculous!"

"Believe it." He said. 'Well, that's not something I thought that I'd ever say.'

"Whatever, I won't stand for this. I'm going to talk to her right now."

"That's pointless and besides, it's getting late."

"She'll still be in her office with her sake." She said determinedly while standing. Even though she swayed slightly, she was determined to see her Hokage, so she started to perform the necessary hand seals to transport to her office.

"Do you really want to do that?" Sasuke asked her.

She glared back at him and then smirked as she performed the last hand seal and poofed away.

"Idiot." He mumbled to himself as he performed the same seals, and poofed away as well.

"And one last one before I leave because I've worked so hard today!" Tsunade said as she poured more sake into her glass from a bottle that was about half empty.

"Tsunade!" Someone yelled as her room was filled with smoke.

'Shit.' She thought as she tried to hide her sake from view. 'I thought I gave Shizune the day off!'

"Did you really assign this baka a mission to watch me?" The same voice from before yelled. As the smoke started to clear it became apparent that the voice belonged to an agitated looking Sakura, with a cocky looking Uchiha standing behind her.

"Oh, it's you Sakura." The Hokage said smiling. "I thought it was Shizune, she'd kill me if she knew I was still here drinking."

"Like it's a secret." Sakura mumbled.

"Hn." Sasuke said as he pushed himself off of the wall as the rest of the smoke cleared.

"What brings you two lovebirds here?" Tsunade inquired as she set down her sake.

A vein in Sakura's temple twitched and Sasuke stayed as impassive as ever. "What the hell do you mean what brought us here?!" She yelled at the blonde. "You've got this icicle of a man watching over mean like I'm some helpless toddler!"

"Oh that." She replied, thinking that she might deserve another cup of sake after this was over.

"Yeah, that!"

"Well you see, I was just soooo worried about my daughter-like apprentice overworking herself instead of recovering that I just had to have him watch over you!" Tsunade said, trying to play the "maternal worry" card.

"Yeah, bullshit." Sakura said, not buying her act for an instant.

"Yeah, alright." Tsunade said. "But I really did think you were gonna try to work at the hospital instead of recovering, or something of the sort."

Sakura went slightly pink at this, because that was exactly what she tried to do.

"I'm sensing that your chakra levels are about back to normal, but after them being so low, your body isn't going to want to work correctly for you now." She explained while drinking the rest of her sake. "Your body feels betrayed and is slightly wary of you letting your levels get that low again, so it'll give you a false sense of chakra depletion the next couple of days as you try to use it. But, with the way your going, it should trust you by," She paused glancing at the clock on the wall that read eight o'clock. "About this time tomorrow."

"Fine, but do I really need him watching over me?" Sakura asked irritably.

"Yes."

"But-"

"No buts, Sakura Haruno. His mission has already been assigned, and he shall complete it. So you'll just have to put up with him until the morning of the day after tomorrow."

"Tsunade!" She whined.

"That's final. Dismissed!"

"Stupid….alcoholic…old…" Sakura mumbled as she furiously did her handsigns to poof back home.

"Hn." Sasuke said as he did his faster and poofed out a second faster than she did.

"Ah, kids." She sighed as she poured herself another drink. "You'll thank me one day."

"Whoa there!" Kakashi said as he steadied a stumbling Shizune.

"Hehe! Thanks!" Shizune giggled out to him, her face tinted pink.

Kakashi just shook his head as they continued to walk down the street. When he suggested that she loosen up on her day off after their mission and have a couple drinks with him that evening, this was not what he expected. He knew Tsunade drank like a sailor, and could definitely hold her liquor, so he just assumed, regardless of her warning that she was a lightweight, that Shizune could hold hers, too, since she was her apprentice and all.

"Whew! That was fun!" she said turning to Kakashi grinning. "It feels good to be the one enjoying sake, instead of being the one to take it away!"

Kakashi smiled under his mask. 'At least she loosened up and had a good time.'

There were two poofs of smoke in Sakura's apartment and when the smoke cleared, you could easily see one ticked off konoichi and one smug Uchiha, the former still muttering under her breath.

"Ridiculous…don't need a babysitter….not helpless…..gonna kill…"

"People will think you've lost it if you keep muttering under your breathe like that." Sasuke told her with a smirk.

"I don't want to hear it!" Sakura growled out. "Mission or not, take your happy little butt out of my apartment. I can take care of myself."

"Hn." He replied, leaning back against the wall and closing his eyes, not planning to leave anytime soon.

"You are such an asshole." She muttered.

Sasuke remained silent however, and just continued to smirk.

"Whatever! I don't even care. I'm going to my room, and if you care to ever restore your clan, I advise you to keep out."

"…"

Sakura's eye twitched in annoyance, but she chose to just go into her room instead of bashing his head in.

As she slammed the door shut, Sasuke lazily opened one eye to peer after her. 'How annoying.' He thought to himself. 'Why do I bother to take care of her?'

"I can't believe him." Sakura mumbled to herself and ungracefully faceplanted onto her bed. Stretching out her arms, she grabbed her pillow and brought it close to her. She stuffed her face into the pillow's softness and let out a frustrated scream, releasing a lot of the tension she held inside. Removing the pillow she sighed and rolled onto her back. 'That's better.' She thought.

Sakura laid there in her bed for what seemed like hours. Glancing at the clock, she realized she had only been in there for fifteen minutes. She let out a long sigh. 'After sleeping most of the day, I don't think I can even doze off for a few minutes.'

She drummed her fingers across her abdomen trying to think of anything she could do to keep herself busy. 'Well, I could sharpen my shuriken,' she mused. 'But that would be useless; I sharpened them before our mission and I didn't even use them.'

'I could…..ummm…..I could clean my room?' She continued to think. Sitting up she looked around her room. It was spotless. 'I did that on my last day off.'

She snorted at the thought. "Day off." She muttered out loud, scoffing at the thought that today was just a "day off." Sakura flopped herself back down on her bed with a sigh. 'Boring.' And then her stomach growled with hunger. 'I suppose I should eat, but I'd rather not go out so soon after yelling at him.' She scrunched up her face at the thought.

At another loud protest from her stomach, Sakura sighed. Standing up, she was about to admit defeat, but then she had an idea. Smirking evilly, she looked to her window, a plan forming in her head.

Stuffing some pillows under her covers in a human sized lump, she masked her chakra and quietly stepped through her window, and leapt onto the branch of the tree beside the building. Stealthily, Sakura leapt down the branches until she skillfully set her feet onto the ground, never making a sound. 'Cha!' She thought, thinking that she could put some distance between her and Sasuke and enjoy some time out before he found her. She knew he would find her; after all, he wasn't a Jonin for nothing.

Sakura turned around, thinking that she would eat at the cozy little café down past the Yamanaka's flower shop, only to run face first into someone.

"Oh, sorry." She apologized with a face of embarrassment, but as she looked up, she was met with onyx eyes staring down at her.

"Going somewhere?"

'Dammit.' She thought to herself.

A/N: Snap! You didn't think he'd catch her so soon? Come on, he's Sasuke Uchiha! Granted, she's Sakura Haruno, but she's still recovering, remember? Even she knew he was gonna catch her!(: Thanks for reading!

Oh yeah! I'm trying to come up with the new title and summary for this, but I've only gotten some rough ideas so far. The story itself won't be changing though, so no worries there! Here's the new ideas, let me know what you think?(: (By the way, titles and summaries do not exactly correspond with each other. For example, title one does not necessarily only apply to summary one.)

New Title Idea: Two Days Can Change a Lifetime

New Title Idea #2: A Mission for Love

New Title Idea #3: Shinobis Must Rest

New Summary Idea: After a mission leaves Sakura injured she must, much to her chagrin, take a short time off from missions and working shifts at the hospital to recover. Even if the kunoichi's body needs to recover, her will is still just as strong and prominent as ever! How will Tsunade persuade her to rest? Let's just say that the Hokage has her ways…..

New Summary Idea #2: "I should check on Sakura." Sasuke said after finishing his mission debriefing and started towards the door of the Hokage's office. 'Oh, I see our little avenger is worried about our dear cherry blossom.' Tsunade thought deviously. "And one more thing, Uchiha." She said smirking, causing him to stop and turn to face her. "You are hereby ordered to watch over Sakura Haruno until I deem her fully recovered. This mission, ordered by the fifth Hokage of Konohagakure, should take no more than two days to complete. Understood? "…Hn." Sasuke grunted and parted from the Hokage, smirking ever so slightly. "Tsunade, you are a true genius!"
