Shikamaru pov
-Flashback-
"Why? Why does this always happens to me..?" Hinata asked Shikamaru. Suddenly, she was pulled into his arms. He held her tightly.
"I don't know why. Sometimes only bad things happens to good people." Shika was very worried and sad. Hinata saw kiba kissing another girl earlier that day. She didn't know what to do or how to react. Once Kiba told her that he didn't love her and that could be friends, she just stood there. Motionless. Like she's not breathing. She walked away quietly. However, once she saw Shikamaru, she gave up on having a brave face. She lost it.
She was his best friend like he was hers. Their fathers was childhood friends so automatically that they would end up being friends. As time went on they became like brothers and sisters. They were inseparable.
"...Shika?"
Shikamaru turned around. His eyes went wide and his mouth was hold open by surprise. Standing a few feet away from them was his girlfriend. Temari. She was stunned and almost into tears. She turned around swiftly and ran away from the scene. Shika told Hinata that he was going to talk to her later and he ran after Temari. He knew her too well. He knew exactly what she was thinking of. She probably thought he was cheating on her with Hinata. He would never do something like that to her. She would know that if she would think straight. He loves her and he always will. So why now? He wants to tell her how much..Why does this had to happen.

"Dude. You want me to talk to her? She is kind of my sister?" Naruto asked as he put his hand on Shika's shoulder. He knew them both as long as he could remember. They were his family and he loved them both. They are all he has now. He hates seeing them like this. It hurts him.
"No.. I will handle this.." He responded with a hurtful expression.
"You sure?"
"..yeah.."
