The next chapter is finally here! Yay!
Ok ok, I know I say this every time I update this fic, but this chapter is short and boring, compared to the rest. But it is important. It helps build up to the next few chapters (which are way more exciting than the last few chapters. That I can promise you!).

Chapter 9- 2 plans put into action

Taichi and Joe where in the middle of the Mysterious forest and, without knowing they were, were only a few miles from Swan Lake. Taichi was explaining to Joe the truth behind the Great Animal. Unfortunately, this was the fifth time he was telling Joe since they left the castle. All around them the trees were bare and daunting in front of the late afternoon sun. The leaves had been blown to the flow by a storm, which just recently pasted. A small breeze blew against the empty branches, making them look like they were alive.
Joe was sitting down infront of a rock, absolutely clueless to what Prince Taichi was trying to explain. Never the less, Taichi decided to give it one more shot. He placed on the rock infront of Joe one of the pages he had ripped out of a book before he left the royal library. On it, was a picture of a mouse, and around this picture, was the ancient text explaining the mystery behind the Great Animal.
"It's a mouse," said Joe, looking up at the Prince.
"The Great Animal," corrected Taichi
"A bit small isn't it?" laughed Joe
"Yeah, until it turns in to this."
Taichi placed another page from the book infront of Joe. This time, there was a beautifully illustrated picture, of a dangerous fire-breathing dragon. Joe gulped. He was scared of many things, including dragons.
"An animal that can change its shape," continued Taichi," a harmless creature approaches, and suddenly, its too late!"
"You mean … it can be … anything?" Asked Joe, who was now shaking.
"Anything Joe."
Taichi mounted his horse and started to ride away, slowly. Joe got up, and was about to mount his horse, when an insect flew around his head. Thinking about what Taichi had said, he suddenly became scared, more scared than usual. He made a dash for his horse, and tried to catch up with Taichi, who was almost out of sight.
"What for me, Prince Taichi!"

Meanwhile, at Swan Lake, it was another beautiful afternoon. The sun was shining the last of its warm rays, for it would soon be sunset. Biyomon was swimming around the lake. She was joined by Frogmon, who was sitting on poor Gomamon's back!
"Biyomon, I apologise for the way I've been acting," said Frogmon
"It's alright Frogmon," said Biyomon in her usual happy voice
"No! This 'Taichi' is very important to you and all I can do is think of myself!"
"Everyone does that."
"Please Biyomon, don't make this harder than it is! Please accept my apology."
"Ok, I accept."
"Good. Now we can kiss and make up!"
"Frogmon" sighed Gomamon and Biyomon.
"What? What did I say?" asked a clueless Frogmon.
"ATTENTION!" called Hawkmon, "It is time my friends to put our plan into action. Biyomon, prepare for takeoff!"
"Right!"
Biyomon swam to the middle of the lake, and took off into the sky.
"The rest of you have your tasks," continued Hawkmon, "Is everyone ready?"
"Ready for action sir!" answered Gomamon
"How about you Frogmon?" asked Hawkmon
"…"
"Frogmon?"
"…"
"Sigh your highness."
"Yes, I am ready!"
"TAKEOFF!" cried Hawkmon as she spread out his wings, and flew into the sky to catch up with Biyomon. Gomamon and Frogmon watched them disappear into the sky, wishing their friends luck. Well, Gomamon was.
"Good Luck!" he shouted, "have a nice flight!"
"Remember," began Frogmon, "If anything happens to her, I'll have you whipped, flagged, put in the rack, and have you're data for breakfast!

Will Taichi and Biyomon/Sora's plans work? Will Biyomon/Sora be able to find Taichi so he can break the spell? Will Taichi find and destroy the Great Animal? And will Frogmon every stopped harassing Sora/Biyomon for a kiss? Find out in the next chapter!
