Insanely short filler:
Chapter 10; So now what?
After a moment we hear the door creak open and Amar and his partner George walk in holding hands. "Bumble-Bea!"
George runs up and hugs me almost picking up. "Hey Uncle George, any news on your sister?"
He sighs, his dough-eyes drooping and making him look like a sad puppy. "No. I'm starting to lose hope, I mean, women with tumors don't just disappear into thin air like that."
I pat his face and he smiles again, noticing Four for the first time. "Am I correct in assuming that you are just a friend?"
Four's face goes a deep shade of crimson and he shakes his head. George laughs then squeals "Pancakes!" and rushes of towards the food.
As Four and I walk out of the room Amar grabs my arm and pulls me to the side. "Are you okay with this Tris? He isn't… Forcing you into anything, is he?"
I feel tears brimming and Amar runs a hand through his black hair. "I'm sorry darling, it's just. I can't lose you. If your Mom was anywhere near to sane she'd say the same. You don't always have to be brave. Just be safe."
I nod and hug him, then exit the house; one arm tight around my waist whilst I bite the others nails. I climb into Fours dirt and rust covered truck, immediately greeted by the sound of U2. We sit in a comfortable silence until he decides to bring up the question on both our minds; "Are we rushing into things?"
