EPILOGUE

Igor looked down at the fish bowl at his feet then looked back up at Balinkoff's island just in time to see the the castle collapse in a fiery heap. He bent down, picked up the bowl and looked at the black goldfish swimming inside.

"No worries boss I'll find you new body!" Igor replied.

He put the bowl down, started the boat back up, and sailed off into the distance.

As Gilligan felt himself waking up he wasn't sure if he dreamt turning back into a human. Although his whole body ached he was afraid to even open his eyes or move. Underneath him the Skipper suddenly let out a loud snore then yawned which startled him so much that he opened his eyes. He looked up at the ceiling at the different shades of green on the palm fronds. He pulled his arms out from under the covers and smiled as he wiggled his fingers.

"SKIPPER SKIPPER I'm human again!" Gilligan exclaimed as he jumped out of his hammock. "I gotta go tell the others!"

"Now wait a minute Gilligan!" The Skipper replied chucking as he climbed out of his hammock. "You can't go outside just yet!"

"Awe why not?" Gilligan whined.

"Because your naked," began the Skipper as Gilligan looked down and blushed. "Plus you still have a tail!"

"Oh boy!" Gilligan replied sullenly looking behind him at his furry brown tail.

"Don't worry I think we have a grass skirt somewhere in here!" The Skipper replied rummaging through the cabinet. "So how are you feeling?"

"Really stiff!" Gilligan replied raising his arms over his head and stretched.

"Skipper is Gilligan awake yet?" Mary Ann replied walking right in.

Mary Ann gasped as Gilligan yelped and bolted into the clothes cabinet with his tail in between his legs.

"Sorry!" Mary Ann squealed running out the door.

"This is more embarrassing than when they were bathing me the other day!" Gilligan moaned twisting his tail.

"Oh Gilligan relax I'm sure she didn't see anything!" The Skipper replied skeptically.

"Did you notice if he still had his tail though?" The Professor asked after Mary Ann told them what happened. Ginger gave him a dirty look.

"I don't know I think so!" Mary Ann replied weakly as she placed a bowl of fruit on the table. "I ran out the door as quickly as I could."

At that moment they heard a grunting sound. They looked over and saw Aiden fly up. Then Eugene and Iona walked up and whistled.

"What's wrong Aiden?" Mary Ann asked as Gilligan and the Skipper walked up.

Gilligan had on his white hat, his newly sewn shirt, and a grass skirt to accommodate his tail. He got down on his knees to talk to Aiden.

"Your getting ready to leave aren't you?" Gilligan asked.

Aiden nodded.

"Be careful out there and don't forget to visit!" Gilligan replied sadly.

Aiden seemed to nod then took a couple of steps forward and flew off. Eugene and Iona whistled after him.

"Awe I'm going to miss him!" Mary Ann replied as they sat down at the table.

"Oh we should've put a note on him though!" The Professor replied as he cut into his pancakes.

"Oh I've been doing that all along with all my bird friends they've just haven't been found yet!" Gilligan replied as he shoved a whole pancake in his mouth.

Everyone was thoughtful for a minute as they ate.

"So how are you feeling Gilligan?" The Professor asked.

"A little stiff but okay," Gilligan began then he gasped and his eyes widened.

"What's wrong?" The Professor asked getting up as Gilligan just shook his head, shivered and clamped his mouth shut.

"His tail just disappeared Professor!" The Skipper replied as he rubbed his shoulder.

"I'm okay!" Gilligan replied taking a deep breath.

"So Gilligan what was it like being a dog?" The Professor asked.

"It was crazy!" Gilligan explained. "I could here and smell everything. It felt like I could feel everyone's feelings along the fur of my back. And everything looked like it does just after the sun sets!"

"What do you mean?" The Professor asked.

"I could only see one shade of green and red looked blue." Gilligan replied starting to laugh.

"You mean it looked like I had blue hair?" Ginger asked. "How blue?"

"As blue as Skipper's shirt!" Gilligan replied beginning to laugh.

The others couldn't help laugh along with him.
