Chapter 10: Supporting Black: Part 1
I'm going to admit, this one and the next one aren't my best one, or the one after that, but I'm trying to stick with the plot I hae the best I can so here we go, part 1 of a 2-parter, that also features some past Rangers helping out in this one

"So let me get this straight, Rosie is Blue and Duna is Pink and you basically got your powers from a dimension-traveling guardian?" Dr. Diggins asked after hearing the Rangers explanation of how they got their powers.
"Yes but we didn't expect Dyllon to tell you guys what happened!" Seth said pointedly at Dyllon who shrugged innocently.
They were currently in an empty and closed Cyberspace and discussing the Rangers. Seth, Rosie and Holt were currently seated on the sofa. Actually it was more like Seth was sitting, Holt leaning against the seat, and Rosie was next to Seth on the handle.
"And Seth received his armor in his subconscious when he was unconscious and wanted to help save you guys?" the Rangers nodded "then Holt received his when he fully realized that he needed to be a part of a team?" they nodded once more "okay, so, who's next?" the Rangers were taken aback.
"Well we haven't thought of that yet, we can't control it, it just, well, happens" Seth said.
"Well what about your real lives?" Diggins asked.
That caught them off guard.
"Well we haven't really thought of that either" Rosie said.
"Well Seth is alone and gets help with fossil fighting as it helps him pay his rent, Rosie lives with her grandpa who doesn't suspect anything, I have an apprenticing job, and… well we don't really know what Duna and Dyllon do but apparently Duna is fine"
"Well in that case I think you need a job Dyllon" Diggins said.
"Well what am I going to do?" Dyllon asked.
"Actually there are some people who could use some help with their jobs, it should be enough for the rent" Kasey said.
"Where is it?" Duna asked, her arms crossed.
In response Kasey turned on the TV onto a news report. On it were a crowd of people and in front of it was a news reporter and two people in pink and green.
"I'm here with celebrity DJ Vida and her friend, the amazing skateboarder, Xander!"
"So how do you guys like Vivosaur Island so far?" she asked.
"Well it's pretty amazing to be on an island where Dinosaurs exist if you ask me" Xander said.
"I think Chip would do anything to be here right now" Vida said.
They both nodded.
"So what are your plans for your performance for the Fossil Festival?"
"Well I was planning to play some of my music while it's going on and Xander here was going to show off some of his tricks and signing autographs"
"So what was it like being the Mystic Force Power Rangers?"
"Well, we really don't like to refer to that anymore, but we here there are some new rangers here, and we were hoping to meet them" just then an explosion happened behind them. "Guess we won't have to wait that long" Vida said seriously before the crowd ran against them.
"That's our cue guys" Seth said as they ran outside and finally got there to see a Krona-like monster attacking.
"Ah rangers, I was wondering when you'd get here, my name is Krotos and welcome to your final battle" it said.
"Let's do it guys" "right"
"VivoFighters: Spinax Power!"
"VivoFighters: Elasmo Power!"
"VivoFighters: Pachy Power!"
"VivoFighters: Jara Power!"
"VivoFighters: Dinaurian Power!"
"Power of a Spinax: Red Air Ranger!"
"Agility of an Elasmo: Blue Aqua Ranger!"
"Strength of a Pachy: Yellow Earth Ranger!"
"Defense of a Jara: Black Flame Ranger!"
"Speed of a Dinaurian: Pink Techno Ranger!"
"United to protect the world from those with dark hearts: Power Rangers: VivoFighters!" they all shouted put in position.
"Alright let's-" but before Seth could finish the sentence, the ground in front of them exploded.
The smoke cleared to reveal three monsters walking slowly towards them.
None of them had definite forms but all of them had bodies shaped like the silhouette of a Vivosaur and all of them were made of smoke.
"Ah, so these are the Fossil Rangers, we've been hearing so much about?" the head one, which was gold colored asked.
"Master, these don't look like much of warriors" the green one, which had a raspy voice spoke.
"These children had caused us so much trouble in the past? Ha, doubtful!" the final one, colored purple and with a feminine voice, replied.
"Who are you?" Seth shouted.
"I am Xenus, the warrior who seeks to destroy everything beautiful" the female one said.
"I am Entros, the warrior who seeks to destroy all heroes!" the green one said.
"And I am Ultamus, the King of the Destructors who seeks to destroy everything pure and true!" the golden one said.
"And together, we are the three high generals of the Dino Destructors!" all three said at once.
"Well, whatever you are, we're going to take you guys down! …and that was a pretty lame introduction" Seth said.
"Hm, Entros, Xenus, take it from here" Ultamus said before vanishing.
"Alright guys, give it your best shot, SpinAxle!"
"ElasWhip!"
"PaCrasher!"
"DinaCannon!"
"JarWings!"
They all charged towards the three Destructors.
Seth ducked under Krotos's claw-thing and struck back with a slash before it punched him in the chest and sent him flying backwards. He then drew his blaster and fired at his chest, stunning the Dino.
"Spinax Wind Strike!" he shouted out, slashing downwards, causing a red streak to strike downwards and across Krotos's chest.
Krotos slid backwards before he kicked Seth, who dodged and swiftly turned before he kicked him in the back and swung his SpinAxle across his chest.
Duna and Rosie flipped backwards away from Xenus's attack, then Rosie tried to run and whip her, but the weapon just passed right through.
"What?" was her response before Xenus struck back and sent her flying.
"Rosie!" Duna ran to her friend's side and fired her weapon at her. The blast made contact but did not cause enough damage.
Rosie stood up and activated her blaster. She inserted her Elasmo chip "Elasmo Aqua Strike!" and fired a blue Elasmo-shaped bullet at her which caused some damage but not a lot.
Dyllon slashed again and again through Entros but every time he did it just kept phasing through before he finally punched him in the chest and the Ranger to the other side of the area.
Holt then ran forward and punched directly through the creature so he jumped backwards and shouted out "Laser mode!" and the head shortened up and the mouth opened to reveal the barrel of a gun connected to a handle.
He rolled to the left before he fired a laser and struck Entros in the chest, causing the Destructor to stagger a bit but not much.
They all met in the middle. "Assemble, VivoBlaster!" Seth shouted, uniting the three weapons.
"Combine: Fossil Cannon!" Duna and Dyllon shouted.
"Fossil chip empower" both Rosie and Duna said as they inserted their ships into the cannon and blaster.
"Fire!" all five Rangers shouted as Elasmo and the Dinaurian shot out and attacked the three monsters.
Entros and Xenus both easily deflected the blasts back to them.
They fell to the ground after the blasts exploded the area around them.
"Hm, they weren't that much of a challenge" Entros said.
"What about the Red one, Krotos apparently had some trouble with him alone" Xenus replied.
"Ah are you saying he may be the one we are looking for?" Entros asked.
"Hm, he may, let's take him to the master, and if he isn't then, he'll be killed. It's a win-win for us, they'll lose a Ranger in both scenarios" Xenus said as they turned and began to walk to the Rangers.
Before they got closer a green blast struck them.
They all turned.
"Ha that went well for them" Xander said as he and Vida walked up, Xander holding a staff with a green tip.
"Don't get cocky now, we still need to get them out of here" Vida told him.
"Yeah yeah yeah, I got it" Xander said as they both pulled out cell phones and flipped them open before pushing three buttons and saying "Magical Source, Mystic Force!" and transformed within seconds.
"Strong as a tree: Green Mystic Ranger!"
"Ever-changing as the wind: Pink Mystic Ranger!"
And with that the two Rangers charged the two Destructors.
Vida flipped over Xenus's claw before she fired a shot at her.
She landed and did a full 360 degree turn before she kicked Xenus away.
She then jumped upwards and fired another wind shot at her.
"Magi Staff: Tornado Power!" she shouted as she created a tornado and swept the destructor away.
She then flew down and slashed across Xenus's stomach and sent her flying.
"Magi Staff: Wind Power!" she shouted as Butterfly wings came from her back and blew wind to send Xenus flying back even more.
Xander blocked Entros's claw with his Magi Staff in Axe mode before he slashed across his chest and sent him flying.
He jumped upwards before he kicked him across the chest and then landed before he slashed downwards.
"Magi Staff: Vine Power!" he shouted as he aimed his staff at them and caused vines to cover up Entros
He jumped upwards and reared his axe above his head, making it glow a green color across the edges of the blade.
"HI-YAH!" he yelled as he slashed across the Destructor, cutting the vines, and sending it flying backwards.
"We're not going to be able to make it" Xenus said before she teleported both herself and Entros away from there.
"Ha" Xander said as he powered down along with Vida.
"Thanks" Seth said as he teleported his team out of there.
"He could've at least stayed around a bit longer for introductions" Vida said as they began to walk away.
