*start of last year of academy*.
*The clans ninjas would talk to themselves. The last three civilian ninjas have left only leaving Sakura as the sole civilian born student. The class would quite down as they saw Iruka walk in a tired look on his face.
"Good Morning Class. Welcome to your last year in the academy. Since you all have been training, I talked to the Hokage and he agreed to make this more serious for you all. The class will get much harder with the learning of jutsus, strategy, and as well as advanced sparring. Every week, you'll have a guest shinobi that will lead you through some of their own personal training for a few days"
The class were relatively surprised that they were now getting special treatment for their learning but didn't argue.
The door opened revealing a man in a black trench coat. His face had many scars and the his forehead protector covering his head.
"Class I would like to welcome Ibiki Morino, head of Konoha Torture And Interrogation."
Ibiki stared at the class and then smirked making some of the students uneasy. Ibiki was also quite interested in a boy with a fox head talking to the last Uchiha.
(This will be fun.)
Iruka would leave to go to his office as Ibiki would stare at the class and then finally speak pacing around the front.
"My name Is Ibiki Morino. From this day on you will call me Ibiki-sensei. By the permission of the Hokage, I may drop anyone from this class if I deem you unworthy of becoming a ninja."
Ibiki would smile seeing a blond haired girl gulp and the dog boy tighten his fists glaring at him.
Reaching into his pouch, he pulled out a chalk and wrote on the board and would step away.
"Information! The key to victory from small little arguments to large scale wars. Intel can be the saving grace or the downfall of any shinobi. You may receive info that is false or unreliable. A shinobi must know that his or life is in danger of being captured."
Ibiki looked up with a cold stare releasing killer intent making the students sweat.
"You must endure torture of all kinds Physical. Mental. You will be driven past your limit but you must not break for the village relies on your silence. "
Ibiki turned to the blond haired girl.
"Kunoichi are twice as likely to be captured than male shinobi. And ⅔ of them are raped and sold into slavery"
Ino widened her eyes shivering, Sakura looked down but put her hand on Ino's shoulder in a silent indication of comfort. Ibiki took note of the comeraderly between the two.
"I will be teaching you... The art of gathering information, interrogation methods, and how to resist these methods. If you think you cannot handle this, I advise you to leave."
Many of the children would get determined faces as Ibiki smirked and slowly took off his hayate.
Naruto would widen his eyes as Sasuke took a sharp breath seeing Ibiki's head.
There were scars, burns marks, punctures where the screws were drilled, and long slashes.
Kiba would gag as Akamaru would whimper hiding his head in Kiba's jacket. Shikamaru would eyes the wounds and then close them deep in thought.
"I had to go through torture. I never gave anything to the enemy and I paid the price for it. But it was worth it to keep the village secrets safe. " Ibiki took in the faces of horror, shock, and disgust looking at him.
"I-Ibiki-sensei?" asked a small voice.
Ibiki turned to his right and saw the Hyuga girl raising her hand.
He nodded at her as she looked a him.
"Are you ok now?"
Ibiki was shocked. Nobody ever asked him if he was ok. He was checked by the hospital and mental health. After he passed, everyone just congratulated his resilience but..was he ok?
The interrogator looked at Hinata in her eyes finally thinking of an answer.
"No. I will never be ok. The pain that I feel will never go away. But the success that the leaf village didn't lose an secrets, and that I made it back home to see my family and friends makes it all worth it. Thank you for asking."
Hinata would nod smiling gently thinking hard on Ibiki's words.
Ibiki would then stand up straight. "The first basic of information gathering. Look underneath the underneath. Libraries and friends may tell you information, but then you are just scraping at the tip of the iceberg. Find deeper sources and then encrypt them to make sure they are not lies. Your first assignment as my students is to. Find out as much as you can about me as a team. You have until the end of the day. If you fail. You will all be dropped from the academy. If I don't think your information is good enough. You will also be dropped. Fail to give me your report properly. You fail. If you pass. I will teach you everything I know."
Cries of protest from Naruto and Kiba would sound as the class was shocked.
Ibiki would put his protector back on his head and then left the classroom
"Meet me back here at sundown."
He then disappeared in a swirl of wind.
The class was stunned but a voice sounded out putting them back in focus.
"Troublesome. We must work together in order to keep going as ninja." Shikamaru sounded as Ino nodded shaking her head to regain focus.
"Shikamaru is right! We gotta pass this." Ino said while getting nods from everyone else.
Sasuke would think and then look at Shikamaru. "Lets split up into 3 groups of three."
"Good thinking Sasuke. It seems only logical to split into groups in order to gain s much ground as possible." Shino would say voicing his opinion.
"Alright. Shikamaru, Ino, and Choji. You guys head to the TI department. He did say he works there so what better place to get info than there." Naruto would command taking charge.
"Hia! Come on guys!" said Choji as he ran out the door munching on chips Shikamaru and Ino quickly following.
"Hinata, Kiba, Shino. See if you guys can follow Ibiki's scent trail. It might lead to something that you guys can listen in. Remember. Stealth is key. Stay down wind from him. He's a jonin for a reason and a very skilled one."
"Yahoo! Count on us Naruto!" Kiba would declare happily Akamaru barking in determination. Hinata and Shino would nod as they quickly ran outside hot on Ibiki's trail"
Naruto would turn to his two best friends with a smile. "I know exactly where to get information. But it won't be easy."
Sasuke, with a determined look would nod at Sakura who would nod back.
"What do we need to do." Sakura would say as Naruto smiled with a feral grin telling his plan.

Sakura was quickly writing down information as Sasuke and Naruto questioned their first victim….?
*Chew Chew* "Yeah Ibiki is pretty scary guy but he's a softy at heart." Anko would say eating the dango the three students bought for her.
"Can you give us specific info?" Sasuke would ask.
"Sure. Ibiki became the head TI captain. He's very well known in all of the lands. Ya know Kisame Hoshigaki killed his comrades in the Cypher Division just so they wouldn't go to Ibiki because he knew that Ibiki would find some way to extract the info. " Ank would chew on her dango as she would close her eyes in thought.
"He knows a few summoning techniques which summons his torture devices. One time, I saw summon the Iron Maiden. What's interesting is that they are modeled up on good luck charms.
Anyways. That's all I can tell you sorry gakis." Anko would get up as Sakura would finish writing down the info. Anko would pull on Naruto's fox ears making him growl as Anko would giggle walking away the dango stick in her mouth.
"Think this is enough Sasuke?" Naruto asked.
"Not really. Let's go follow Anko. I think we're going to need you tou-san's help though Naruto."
Sakura would pocke the notebook and nod as they would run toward the apartment where Naruto and King lived.
*With Shikamaru, Choji, and Ino.*
They would arrive in front of the TI department building.
"Tch. Here it is." Shikamaru would state. "Getting information won't be easy so we need a plan."
After Shikamaru discussed his strategy, he would knock on the door.
The door would swing open revealing a chunin with a bodysuit covering his body except his face under his flak jacket.
"Can I help you children?"
"Is it possible that we can get information on Ibiki Morino?" Ino would ask hopeful
The chunin would shake his head "Sorry kids. That's classified information."
"You sure? Mr..uhhh" Choji would ask stammering on the last part.
"Oh the name's Shinobu Mibu." Said the chunin smiling embarrassed scratching his neck.
"Well listen here Shinobu Mibu. Would it change your mind that the Hokage ordered you to give us info? It would be treason to disobey orders. We're investigating some leak, a rat, in the TI department and Ibiki is a prime suspect." Shikamaru said garing at the chunin who would widen his eyes.
"N-no way! You're bluffing. You're just kids!" the chunin stammered as Ino would put her fist up raising a document with the Hokage's seal on it.
"We're the Hokage's personal ANBU Investigation Units. We were trained at the age of five by the Hokage himself. So if you would kindly let us in and give us information, we can get this investigation underway. " said Choji as he crossed his arms a death glare on his face.
Shinobu was sweating. Ibiki? A traitor? These kids were the ANBU Investigation Units? They looked so young. "Ok ok!..sorry" He bowed and opened the door letting the kids inside missing Shikamaru's grin. "I-I can assure that that Ibiki is no traitor. He's the leader of the TI group! I trust him with my life"
Ino would nod "We understand your concern and we also believe that Ibiki is innocent. But we must make sure everything is in order. There is a possible spy in here and we want to keep this village secrets' secure."
They would sit at a table as Shikamaru would look at Shinobu Mibu directly in the eyes with a glare.
"Shinobu. We need Ibiki's folder and we would also like to answer you some questions to make sure you're not a traitor either. You must also vow to never tell anyone about this. It is an S class secret under Hokage law with death as punishment. Do. You. Understand."
Shikamaru would laugh in his head seeing the sweating Chunin nod as he ran off to get what he demanded. Choji and Ino would nod at him all of them fist bumping under the table.
*With Kiba, Shino, and Hinata*
Kiba, Shino, and Hinata would follow Ibiki's trail in the village staying hidden with the crowds of villagers.
"Kiba. How close are we getting?" Shino asked as Kiba would sniff the air.
"His scent is getting stronger we must be near. Hinata. Can you activate your byakugan and try to see him?" Shino would command as Hinata would nod channeling chakra to her eyes.
"I see him. He looks like he just left an apartment building on the third floor. He seems to be walking and talking with another ninja."
Shino would nod. "We must act quickly. We have to find a way to get inside the room."
"Easy Shino! We can break it down or sneak through a window." Kiba would say as they would arrive in front of the door.
Kiba would reach for the door knob when Hinata would grab his hand just before he gripped the nob.
"Kiba! T-there are seals and chakra lining on the door knob and lock. We need a key…" Hinata would slowly let go off Kiba's hand as the dog boy would nod in thanks.
Shino would stare at the door at the reception office at the Apartment building deep in thought seeing guards doing their rotations.
"Kiba. Hinata. I have a plan. We must get the owner of the complex to open this. We need some way to either steal the skeleton key or convince the person to let us in.
Kiba would stare a guard seeing one look a picture briefly before going back to keeping watch pocketing the photo.
Kiba would rub his chin and nod whispering to Akamaru getting a yap in response.
"Shino. Hinata. I'm going to distract the guard. You guys get the skeleton key." Before they could stop him, Kiba jumped off.

Hanzo would yawn gently as he waved goodbye to a male shinobi. He was the guard to the Shinobi apartment complex meant for ninjas to stay who didn't have a clan to be in. He would look to his right and widen his eyes seeing a puppy with white fur and brown patches of fur on the back of the ears running towards him barking excitedly. Hanzo picked up the puppy and laughed feeling the warm tongue lick his face. It reminded him of his dog back at home in care with his wife.
"S-sorry mister! My dog gets excited all the time when seeing strangers!" said a voice.
Hanzo turned to his left and saw a black haired boy wearing a t-shirt and cargo pants, The boy had small glasses on his nose and little sandals.
"Ah don't worry about it little one. Why don't you tell me more about this puppy of yours letting the boy hold onto the puppy"
"W-well this is Kuai-Liang! He's my best friend! Can I tell you about how i adopted him?" said the boy as Hanzo would laugh nodding sitting on a chair his full attention to the boy not noticing a certain bug and pale eyed kids taking the keys from the office room he was supposed to keep watch over.
Shino and Hinata would put the key in the lock hearing a click and a woosh of seals being deactivated.
"Kiba-kun did a great job. I didn't know he was such a good actor." said Hinata as she walked in her byakugan activated to check for traps.
"Yes. Kiba is full of surprises. He must of learned something from Naruto in the training." Shino would reply as he looked at Hinata nodding.
They both put tie rags to their sandals and walked inside making sure to put everything back in place. They took mental notes of the many things in Ibiki's room from family photos, food, bills, letters, and more. After Shino would write down information on a notepad. They would carefully exit the room as Hinata would close the door locking it before going down to see if the guard was still distracted. Sure enough, a henged Kiba was showing the guard tricks that Akamaru could do from sitting to rolling over, and to even doing a small little dance. After putting the key back and throwing away the rags, Kiba felt a something on his shoulder. Seeing it was a bug, he would say goodbye to Hanzo picking up Akamaru.
Hanzo would wave goodbye to the kid and smile. (What a nice kid. I'm definitely going to teach my dog how to dance when I get home)

All the groups met back at the academy at as the sun was just starting to set. Files were shared, pictures were observed, and notes were passed as everyone worked together to give a good report on their sensei.
After hours of planning and organization, they would wait in their seats as the sun went down.
Ibiki walked in as he saw everyone stand up and line up in front of him arms to their sides.
Ibiki smiled. He sensed that this was good.
"Report."
"Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura took a step forward.
"Your name is Ibiki Morino. You are the head of the Konoha Interrogation and Torture Force. You are a feared shinobi within many of the ninjas across the land. Kisame Hoshigaki killed his own Cypher Division in fear that you would break them and get the secret codes." Started Sakura as she would then take a step back.
"The techniques you can do are surrounded in extracting information like summoning torture chambers like the Iron Maiden. They are modeled after good luck charms and you also, during most of your summoning chambers, experience the same pain as you do to your victims" said Naruto taking a step backward.
"You follow a philosophy being equals in pain, hence why you go through the same pain as your victims. Although you show a cold exterior, Anko mentioned that you were a very loyal man and actually very relaxed. You enjoy watching fights in the underground tournament with her and even place bets on the Dynamic Beast Duo."
Ibiki looked at Naruto and then nodded finally recognizing the mask. (So. The Masked Fox is the kyuubi kid. Go figure.)
Shikamaru, Choji, and Ino would then step forward.
"According to your subordinates and comrades. Many would lay down their lives for you. Training is very brutal but worth the effort. The food at the TI department is not bad either…" Choji would shake his head getting back on topic making Ibiki raise his brow wondering the big kid knew the food was like. "Your file indicates that your favorite food is udon and sashimi. Your favorite fish would be salmon." Choji would take a step back as Ino would start
"Your folder also indicates that you are scared of Orochimaru as a child. Even though you are an interrogator, you used to fear him calling him inhuman in human form. It also states that you induced trauma after your capture and torture stating you had 5 screws inserting into your skull, lacerations on your body, cuts from knives on your skull and evidence of fire jutsus being used. Despite all of this, you didn't give any information to the enemy." Ino would finish as Shikamaru would yawn.
"Blood is type A, Ninja ID is 010913. You graduated the academy at the age of ten and became chunin at 15. The current rank you hold is Tokubetsu Jonin. Your teammates in your genin days were Hayate Gekko and Tokkara who you are still friends with to this day. You showed great strategy in the chunin exams leading to your promotion through your display of intelligence and efficiency." Shikamaru would sigh and step back as Hinata, Kiba, and Shino would step forward.
"Upon searching your room, we found more about your personal life Ibiki-sensei" Kiba would state as Ibiki's eyes widened.
(Impossible!)
"You had a younger brother named Idate Morino who is presumed dead. You also suffer from slight insomnia from the medications you have on your bedside. Pain killers were also found suggesting the wound on your head still hurt at some points in time." Kiba said as Shino took over.
"You enjoy reading war stories and enjoy games likes shogi and go by the board and pieces we found at a table. You do also consume a moderate amount of sake shown by the bottles in the trash. Your favorite animal is the turtle symbolizing you perfectly. Hard exterior, soft insides. Your pay is average as you take missions when your specialty is needed. You also got a nice bonus for teaching our class. Bills for apartment are average." Shino finished. Ibiki swore he saw a smile on the Aburame.
Hinata then smiled at Ibiki "All of this information was done utilizing your rules of information gathering. We made sure that none of the info we received were conflicting and got them from reliable sources. We infiltrated your home and base utilizing henge and trickery giving your comrades false info of us as we snuck in and got personal info of you. Checkmate Ibiki. Report Finished sensei." Hinata would smile her eyes close in upside u's.
The students stared hopefully at Ibiki as he would look down. Ibiki looked at the soon to be ninjas in front of him a determined look in every single one. Slowly he looked up as he started to…. laugh?
"You guys... Ha Ha!.You guys are definitely worth my time! Not only did you collect very personal information of me, you showed me that you can get information from all around instead of just the library. You all pass with flying colors and I'll report to the Hokage of the success. Meet me here tomorrow morning at the same time. It's time for me teach you everything I know." Ibiki smiled and then disappeared in a swirl of leaves.
It was silent in the class before Naruto yelled in excitement high fiving Shikamaru who would smile lazily. The whole class would exchange compliments and high fives. The showed Ibiki they were something to watch out for. The bond between the friends increased ten folds as they succeeded as a team. Sasuke would high five Kiba complimenting him as Sakura would hug Ino with a victorious grin on her face. Shino would shake Choji's hand complimenting on how they got they infiltrated the HQ of TI. Hinata would smile and blush deeply feeling Naruto touch her shoulder.
"Great Job Hinata!" Naruto exclaimed as Hinata would stutter out a thank you her face red. Normally, she would pass out but those lessons from King taught her confidence.
Sarutobi was in his office hearing Ibiki's report as the old man would smile. He would dismiss Ibiki as he looked at the crystal ball seeing the Konoha Nine walk together talking about how they got the information and what might happen tomorrow.
(Naruto….I know you had something to do with this...I think history would be much different if King didn't come here. I still wonder who sent him...Thank you kami for bringing the man here. Things would be much different if Naruto was alone…)
Sarutobi looked up to Kakashi walking up reading his Icha Icha.
"Ah Kakashi-san. Please have a seat. I have an offer for you. Oh and some very good news about Naruto."

"NARUTO'S BACK?!" a voice yelled out as birds flew away from the noise.
Sarutobi smiled nodding smoking his pipe as he told the whole story starting when he began the construction of the Underground Fight Arena.
"While you were finishing your last mission Kakashi. I decided to add something to the village before Naruto got back..."
Sarutobi went on to tell the tale of Naruto's return, the rescue of Anko, the friends he made, the training group he started, the Dynamic Beast Duo, and so much more as Kakashi absorbed the story word for word.
(Naruto….You've grown so much from when you were first adopted. I knew I could trust King to take care of you. I can't wait to see you soon!) Kakashi thought looking out the window.
