Everyone remembers when Caboose adopted Freckles. The giant German shepherd was a surprise when Wash and Tucker entered the apartment.
"Wash, why is there a dog in our apartment?" The dog started growling at them.
"Tucker, I have absolutely no idea." The dog was just about to tackle them when the door swung open.
"Freckles! I am home! I bought you a ball!" Freckles stopped growling and started to wag his tail. "Hello Washingtub. Hello Tucker. I see you meet Freckles."
"Caboose, where is Freckles owner? Why is he in our apartment?"
"Yeah Caboose, where the fuck did this giant dog come from?"
"I found him! He was all alone and I felt sad, so I brought him home!"
"Caboose, we can't keep him. He has an owner, a home he belongs to with a family that loves him. We have to return him to that family. We'll put up poster tomorrow morning." Wash walked away to his room and came back with a camera. "We'll get a photo for the poster."
"Do we have to?"
"Yes Caboose."
They never did find Freckles' owners, so that was the beginning of Freckles joining the crazy little apartment. Tucker refused to be alone with the dog no matter what, but Wash grew to like Freckles a lot. There were moments were Tucker and Caboose would find Freckles cuddled up against Wash on the couch, but Wash denied liking Freckles all the time.
