Chapter 10

BPOV

We ran to the clearing as fast as we could, not knowing what was going on at the treaty line. When we got there we reunited with our family and faced the pack. I wonder what this is about.

"Thank you for coming, and calling the rest of your…family here Carlisle. There is something that my pack and I have come across on our lands. We thought we should consult with you first about it before dealing with it ourselves" Sam said to Carlisle. I moved to Edward's side to see if he was okay. He looked a lot better which tells me they hunted before this meeting was called. I nudged Edward with my elbow to see if he knew anything about what was going on. He looked at me and I could tell he knows but he won't tell me. My curiosity grew with each second.

"I understand, Sam. Do you mind telling my why you wanted to meet?" Carlisle asked. He was as curious as I was right about nodded and turned to face his pack. He nodded towards them which must have been some signal. But a signal for what exactly? Two pack members- I didn't recognize- brought from behind a tree a figure that was hidden in shadows. I couldn't tell what it was yet. They must get closer. I was anxious to see who or what they two pack members circled the creature to make sure it didn't escape. But from the looks of it, I would say the creature had no intentions of escaping.

They were close to the light now. A few more feet and what they had in there trap would be creature entered the light and I saw what they had captured. It was a…. is a vampire doing here in Forks? Is he a nomad? Different questions were entering my mind and I wanted the answers to the m badly. I stared at the new vampire. He was gorgeous. He had the same gold eyes, but his held so much depth and secrecy in his and this short black hair.

I was curious about this man. He had a lure now one as ever had on me before.I keep staring at him. I was looking at his male model sculpted body and was trailing my eyes all the way up until his eyes caught mine. He had a hold on me, a hold I didn't care to get out of. Who was this man?

"We found him wondering the woods on the reservation like he was looking for something. When we caught him, he said he was looking for your coven. So I thought to bring him to you before we dealt with him" Sam explained to Carlisle.

"I smelt dog all over that woods. I was looking for a way out of it. If you haven't noticed your kind smell. I thought my nose was gonna fall off if stayed there any longer. I feel sick now" the mystery man said.I tried to hold in my laugh, but failed. I whispered a sorry, sensing the stares of my family. He heard me and our eyes locked. I felt this strange shock go through me. Almost like electricity. We continue to stare at each other. I couldn't interpret what look was in his eyes. I was fascinated by this man, why I do not know.

"My, my. That has to be the most beautiful laugh I have heard in centuries my dear. Your voice is like music. What is your name?" he asked intrigued. He had a smile plastered on his face the entire time he spoke to me.

"Bella. My name is Bella" I told him, smiling back.

"Such a beautiful name, for a gorgeous woman. I would love to get to know you better, Bella. Hopefully we get the chance" he said to me. I heard Edward make a very noticeable growl at the comment. I smiled at him and nodded in response to his request to get to know me better. I would very much like to get to know him better too.

"What is your name, sir?" Carlisle asked. Ripping the strangers gaze from mine. Carlisle was very curious, to what the stranger's purpose is.

"My name is Jason Goodwin. I'm here to find someone, and to speak with you Carlisle privately though" Jason informed nodded towards Jason and stepped over to have a few words to Sam. The day was running away from us as the family stayed still and quiet while waiting for Carlisle was done discussing matters with Sam.

The two pack members backed away from Jason and followed there retreating brothers, back to the reservation. It seems we were headed home, but with Jason in our company- much to my liking. Once the wolves were out of sight, we headed home as the day descended into beautiful twilight.
