Chapter 7 Part 2 (The Question)

A Heartbeat.

It was very faint. But Sasuke could hear a heartbeat. Chopper was either a whole hell of a lot tougher or luckier than the devil could have ever thought…

"He's still alive? He's sturdier than I expected…" Was one Kuyo, stating exactly what he was thinking. The Uchiha's red tomoe filled eyes glared at the Yoko, the intense gaze caught the blonde's interest. "Ah, what a surprise to see you here Sasuke." he greeted without a care in the world.

"Are you insane?! You tried to kill him!" Sasuke shouted.

"He was causing havoc by attacking the other clubs." Countered the blonde.

"He was barely on his feet conscious; I'd hardly consider him a threat!"

"Perhaps so…but whether he was a threat or not at that moment is irrelevant. There are consequences for every action Sasuke, and his certainly warranted punishment."

"Your idea of punishing a student is murder?" The devil rhetorically asked, glaring daggers at Kuyo for a few more brief seconds before bringing his attention back to Chopper.

The fox monster raised a quizzical eyebrow at Sasuke. His behavior toward the fallen troll and the possibility that he might've been dead was one that he wasn't expecting. From the way he carried himself and the way he saw him handle his opponents, especially in their altercation earlier in the week, he always assumed there was some sort of killer instinct in Sasuke. Was he wrong? No, it couldn't be. That edge in the devil's eyes Kuyo's come to know were still there as strong as ever. So why did the devil find it so wrong to kill Chopper?

His dwelling on the matter came to an end as he saw Sasuke throw the unconscious Chopper over his shoulder. "Going somewhere with him?" He amusedly asked.

"The nurse's office; he needs medical attention." The devil said as he began his walk out of the gym, only to be stopped by Kuyo putting his hand out in front of him. The Narrowing of The Sharingan user's eyes told the fox monster exactly what he was thinking: 'Get out of my way or get hurt…'

"A noble action Mr. Uchiha, very noble," Kuyo started. "But I believe it'd be better to leave Mr. Rikiishi in my care for here on..."

"Why? So you can finish the job?" The devil quipped.

"Funny," the yoko dryly responded. "We believe Mr. Rikiishi is connected to something the Student Police is looking into…"

"And what's that?"

Seeing as there was no way he wasn't going to convince him without some kind of explanation, he added: "Tell me Sasuke, are you familiar with the new nurse, Mako Yakumaru?"

"The new nurse?" The Uchiha questioned. "I saw her yesterday when I brought him in."

"You brought him into the nurse's office yesterday?" Asked Kuyo. "That definitely raises my suspicions on the matter…"

"Stop dancing around the issue, Kuyo. What does the school nurse have to do with this? I want answers…"

Kuyo sighed: "Before Ms. Yakumaru arrived the academy had a Doctor, Yuji Yutaka, to tend to the students. Before this school year started, Dr. Yutaka had to take a short leave of absence because of a family emergency. So he sent in a Nurse to fill in for him until he would come back. But a week and a half ago, that nurse disappeared as well. It was then that Ms. Yakumaru came in to fill the role the previous nurse did, and in that time, there have been…peculiar situations that have taken place…"

"Peculiar how?"

"In the last week, we've had a three cases of hostility and physical altercations between the athletic teams in the school. We initially thought nothing of the situation other than just students getting wrapped up in the heat of the moment from the intensity of their activities. But when we started asking the students questions, we found they all had two things in common: they all seemed to take place after one of the students paid a visit to the nurse, and in the time between visiting her and after the altercations that required us to get involved, the students couldn't remember what had taken place. I was actually on my way to the nurse's office to discuss the matter when I caught word of Mr. Rikiishi's actions…"

Sasuke remained quiet while the info sunk into his mind. If the nurse did have something to do with this then it would definitely explain the uneasy feeling he got around her yesterday. "I take it you'll be going to talk to her then." The nod of the yoko's head answered Sasuke's question. "Then what are you going to do about him?" the devil asked in regards to Chopper. "He needs medical attention; and if the nurse is the one behind all these incidents, then it's not safe for him to be there…"

"Given the circumstances, it isn't; but it's the only place where he can get medical attention." Kuyo saw the Uchiha about to voice his disagreement about that idea, but the fox monster continued his previous statement with: "Earlier in the day I asked the headmaster if he received any calls to Dr. Yutaka; and I was informed that the Doctor's business had been taken care of and he would be making a return tomorrow. In the meantime, I will rotate two members of the Public Safety Commission at a time to keep an eye out on the nurse, to make sure she doesn't do anything to Mr. Rikiishi for the rest of the day."

"And once again, if the nurse is behind the incidents, what are you and your police planning to do if she tries to do the same thing to you all?"

"If that were to happen then it would prove that Nurse Yakumura is the one behind all of this. And if it were the case, then I'm glad to have someone that both knows the truth and can find a way to stop it."

"So you expect me to do your job for you?" Sasuke said with very little tact.

With a mirth grin on his face, Kuyo responded with: "Of course not, Mr. Uchiha. The Public Safety Commission is perfectly capable of handling one woman. You're more of a…contingency plan. After all, I wouldn't explain all this info to just any student now, would I?"

The devil raised an eyebrow. Did Kuyo expect him to get involved in this situation?

"As much as I enjoy this little back and forth, the longer the two of us stay here and converse, the worse Mr. Rikiishi's condition will end up being." Kuyo noted. "So if you don't mind, I'll take him off your hands and get him to the nurse." The yoko extended his hand to grab hold of the unconscious wrestler but Sasuke's eyes carried the clear message to back off.

"I'll carry him to the nurse's office," the Uchiha informed him. "I don't trust leaving that task to you, and this way if something does happen to him, I'll know for sure the nurse had something to do with it…or you…" he looked Kuyo dead in the eye as he finished the statement.

Not even remotely surprised by the devil's distrust in him, Kuyo chuckled and responded: "Fair enough," he turned his back to Sasuke. "I take it that you'd prefer I walk in front of you on the way to Nurse Yakumaru, am I wrong?" he asked not even looking back at the freshman. Although he heard nothing from his junior, he could feel those black eyes of his burning holes in the back of his head. Without any verbal acknowledgement, he proceeded to walk out the gym and towards the nurse's office with the devil right behind him.

It was a good thirty seconds into the walk before Sasuke brought up a topic that had been invading his mind for the last few minutes: "Hey," he succeeded in getting the yoko's attention with that as he slightly shifted his head to indicate he was listening. "You said that I was a contingency plan if things go wrong with you guys and the nurse. What makes you so sure that I'll even do anything about the situation?"

"That is a good question, Mr. Uchiha, you really have no purpose for getting yourself involved with any of this. But if my assumptions about nurse Yakumaru is correct, then who's to say she'll stop at just the students? And, in spite of your…unapproachable demeanor, I'm sure you wouldn't let the school be put in a dangerous position such as that? Who knows what'll happen to the school faculty, the students, and of course your friends?"

"…They AREN'T my friends…" he corrected his senior.

"Of course they aren't…"

XXX

Tsukune sneezed.

Moka shivered.

Both looked around to see if they could find the source responsible for causing such a reaction, but to no avail. At least it was good for one thing: It broke up the uncomfortable silence from seeing the beaten and even battered members of the Muay Thai club walking in their direction, both were very taken aback from all the damage dealt to the club. Keito of course led all the students to the nurse's office to have their wounds tended to, which left the human and vampire alone to just think of all Chopper had done, and for one of them to think of just how much damage he could do to another of their friends.

Moka was currently hugging her knees as she sat down and worried over Sasuke. She knew he was strong. She was proven of that upon seeing him fight the likes of Saizou and Kuyo. But seeing all those people beaten that badly, and some to the extent where others had to carry them, was scary for her; and if one guy was capable of doing that to a whole club, then she feared for what he would possibly do to a single person.

"Cheer up Moka." She looked over her left and saw the smiling Tsukune looking down at her.

"Tsukune…is it obvious?" She rhetorically asked. "I know how strong Sasuke is but…just thinking about all the students in that bad of a condition, I get a little scared for him. How's he supposed to fight someone like that?"

"Moka, trust me when I tell you that Sasuke's a whole lot stronger than we think he is. Chopper doesn't stand a chance." Tsukune reassured her. If anyone had any idea how powerful the devil actually is, it'd be the human after watching him completely manhandle the wrestler in their fight. If Moka wanted to see scary, she should've seen that confrontation…

Hearing how sure Tsukune was about Sasuke not being in any real danger did help in lifting her spirits, but her concern was still there and it probably wouldn't be gone completely until he came back. She was starting to regret not being more adamant in going with him to handle Chopper. Then again, as she was currently, she'd probably be more trouble for her friend than help. Her eyes settled down to her rosary hanging from her neck. If only she could take the thing off when she wanted, she could help her friends…

'It's really tiresome watching you worry yourself into panic…' The sudden voice caused Moka to jump and shriek, alerting Tsukune.

"What's wrong?" he asked.

"I-It's my rosary. It's talking to me!" The red glow coming from Moka's rosary alerted her that her other half had more words to say to her.

'Don't act so surprised,' the voice said, patronizing the pinkette. 'We share the same body. I'm using the rosary as a medium to talk to you from deep within your psyche. And whoever that friend of yours is fighting is, he shouldn't be too much trouble for him to handle. If that isn't the case than he isn't as skilled as I thought…' In the two fights the other Moka had seen Sasuke in, he'd shown decent skill, whether it's hand to hand or those illusionary techniques of his. The fact that he showed no ounce of fear when they stood face to face meant he had some confidence in his abilities.

"But…how can you be so sure? Aren't you…" the apathetic voice cut Moka off

"No, and neither should you, have SOME pride as a vampire…" After that exchange, the rosary went back to being dormant, leaving the pink haired Moka to only further sulk. She would've spent the next couple of minutes doing so had Tsukune not asked her:

"So… is you talking to your rosary a regular occurrence?"

"No, it's only happened once before; right before Sasuke fought Kuyo the day we were looking for clubs." She answered him. "I wonder, is the seal weakening?"

It felt so long since the day Moka's rosary came off, the human forgot about her other personality, but when she mentioned the seal, the memories of the silver haired girl came flushing back to him. Her fearsome and, considering her plans for a certain succubus hadn't she been stopped, ruthless nature left quite the impression on him.

'Wait, if the seal is weakening like she says, then will it get to the point where that other scary Moka will be out all the time?" He couldn't picture that other Moka around all the time…

"What are you two still doing here?" Hearing that much familiar voice, Moka was up to her feet with a big smile on her face, it quickly faded however when she spotted Kuyo right behind him. Speaking of, the upperclassman greeted the vampire and human with:

"Good afternoon, Ms. Akashiya, Mr. Aono, have either of you seen one of the members of the commission passing by?"

"Y-Yes," Moka stammered. Even with just the smallest of greetings, the yoko's presence was enough to rattle anyone. "She came by not too long ago with some other students and they went to the nurse's office."

"Good, then I suppose we'll make our way there won't we Mr. Uchiha?" Kuyo rhetorically asked, as he made his way to Mako's office without any verbal acknowledgement from the Sharingan user. Before the devil himself could follow suit, he looked over his shoulder where his two still shaken up acquaintances and told them:

"You two stay away from the nurse's office."

"The nurse's office? Is something wrong?" Tsukune questioned.

"Something definitely isn't right when it comes to her, especially if Kuyo's out to look into it. It's better if you two keep out of it…"

"But, what about…" Moka was quickly cut off by Sasuke.

"I'm only dropping this guy off," he motioned to the big lug currently hanging over his shoulder. "As soon as I've done that, then the Student Police can deal with this mess. It's their job, after all…" The devil left to catch up with Kuyo as soon as those words left his mouth. With Moka and Tsukune informed about the current situation, he felt that it was only right to tell Yukari and Kurumu once he dropped Chopper off. Although he was now wondering where the two were. Hopefully not still arguing like children.

"Let's see, alcohol… alcohol…Got it." Came the voice of one Kurumu Kurono., currently in the nurse's office and looking for spare bottles of alcohol. After grabbing it, she brought it back to the office where Mako was busy with another beaten up student. "Excuse me, nurse? I found the box."

"Ah. Thank you very much Ms. Kurono. Set it in the corner over there." Mako turned to look at the succubus while she gave her instructions. She brought her focus back to the student she was tending to and said: "Now hold still for a few brief seconds while I apply this…"

After doing what was instructed, Kurumu brushed her hands and watched the other students that were sitting by waiting for Mako to tend to them next. Although, from their flustered faces and somewhat perverse grins, you wouldn't be able to tell that they were horribly beaten. Had this been a month ago, she would've lavished at the attention she was getting from the gazes thrown her way, but now she wished that weren't the case. She already had her dream man, and she only desired to have his eyes on her.

"I can't believe one person did this much damage to so many students…" she said. "It seems impossible for only one person to handle all of it."

"Which is why I appreciate your help around here, Miss Kurono," Mako expressed. "It's definitely lightening the load of work I have to do."

"I didn't really do much, just moved things around."

"Every little bit counts, especially on a day like this."

"Well, don't mention it." The bluenette said whilst rubbing her arm. "It's the least I could do for you bandaging me up." After her altercation with Yukari which ended with her getting knocked out from the witch's magic, she stomped around looking to find her when she stumbled across the nurse's office. Apparently, the bump on her head was bad enough that the nurse insisted that she come into her office to have it looked at. She felt fine, even with the bump, but decided to follow anyway to make the woman feel better. Wasn't too long after, the other students came in so she aided the nurse.

She was actually thankful for it, because this little distraction was enough to get her mind on the little brat that had gotten her all riled up. The little girl's insults thrown her way in regards to her body, her nature, and worst of all, her love for her Sasuke, definitely earned her a spot on her shit list; and the fact that the girl had left when she finally came to, only pissed her off further. Yukari better hope the succubus never found her because when she did, she was going to be very sorry.

All while she was fuming, Mako watched Kurumu go on from over her shoulder, and while physically there was no difference in her body language, on the inside she was practically seething. All that anger just poured out of the blue haired girl, and she could've felt it from a mile away. It's what initially made her take the girl in to her office and "help her injury". Her plan was to ease the girl in with some conversation, bring up what caused the bump on her head, and when her guard was down, Mako would strike.

There was one thing that stopped her right when she was inches away from a very vulnerable position, a member of the Student Police, the purple haired one that was supposedly the assistant to the leader of the group, came right into the door with members from various sports clubs. No doubt the result from what she did to that student from the wrestling club that came in yesterday.

Damn it, her previous actions ended up coming back to bite her in this instance. Because now right in front of her, a blue haired girl was unknowingly teasing her with that intoxicating emotion to feed off of. And it wasn't just her either. She could feel the anger and hate some of the students that she had to tend to as well! It was torture, like an addict very close to getting her next fix. It was very subtle, but one would be able to see her thighs pressed together if they paid enough attention.

The opening of the door caused everyone's eyes to avert over to it and Kuyo entered the door, and as is the norm with the Student Police president, he brought an uneasy tension with his entrance, overshadowing whatever anger the patients had at the moment.

"Well, this is quite the mess, isn't it Nurse Yakumaru?" he asked.

"President Kuyo," Keito spoke up. "Has Riikishi been taken care of?"

"Yes he has Keito," Kuyo began. "Although, if I can be frank, the situation was mostly handled before I arrived…" he looked over his right shoulder, signaling everyone to follow suit. A few moments later, Sasuke entered the room with the unconscious Chopper. The room fell in an even eerier silence seeing the large man that was the reason the majority of them were in there in the first place seemingly lifeless and charred all over while the person carrying him stood without a scratch and walking around with him like it was no effort. It was a sight much unsettling for many and they didn't know how to respond.

But one person in the room did know, and with clasped hands and a pair of eyes that somehow morphed into to hearts, she cooed out: "Sasuke…" She rushed over, ready to just glomp the raven haired boy before the raising of his hand signaling her to stop prevented her from doing so.

"Don't," was all the Uchiha said. He could tell from that action alone resulting in the pouty expression from the succubus was not a favorable one with all the guys in the room who seemed to be seething over the fact that he just brushed off her advances. That building hostility however dissipated when he unceremoniously dumped the wrestler on the cold floor of the room.

"CHOPPER!" Mako cried out to the slightly charred student she tended to yesterday was in an even worse condition than he walked out in. She looked at the raven haired young man who stood over his prone form with very little care for him and she gave him a hard glare, at least as hard as someone with a face as soft as hers could be. The reason he ended up in here yesterday played in her mind once again. "Sasuke, did you…"

"The dishonor of Mr. Riikishi's condition goes to me, Nurse Yakumaru." Kuyo admitted. "When I arrived at the scene, Mr. Uchiha here had things mostly taken care of. certainly wasn't as worse for wear as he currently is. However, Mr. Riikishi was refusing to listen to reason and was still attempting to fight. So I did what I had to do to make sure he wouldn't be a danger to the other students."

"You took it too far!" Yelled Mako. "This young man will be lucky if serious burns are the worst of his injuries!"

"I understand Nurse Yakumaru, I'll accept the consequences, whatever they may be." Responded Kuyo. His attention then went to the devil standing across from him. "Thank you for your assistance, Mr. Uchiha. You were quite helpful in making my job easier."

"Don't expect it to be a reoccurring thing…" Sasuke was quick to tell him. "Kurumu,"

The bluenette in response jumped. "Y-yeah?!"

The devil nudged to the door with his head. "Let's get out of here and get something to eat…"

The succubus gasped at the devil making such a forward gesture and she squealed. In a matter of seconds, she had his right arm wrapped between her breasts and her cheeks were red. "O-Oh Sasuke!" She cooed. "I never thought you'd be so direct and ask me on a date!"

"I never said it was a date..." The devil was quick to note that fact. Honestly, the girl came off as insane sometimes with her grand romantic gestures. They walked out the room leaving the members of the SP, the school nurse, and the students.

The guys in the room for medical attention sulked as they watched one of the top beauties in the school left with, who was in their mind, a total douche. The sorrow nature in the room changed however with Kuyo's next statement: "Now then Nurse Yakumaru, if you don't mind, there are some questions I'd like to ask everyone."

XXX

A maiden in love was a very dangerous thing. That was what Sasuke's aunt told him a long time ago; and he was starting to understand why she told him in hindsight as his arm was buried in the valley of cleavage belonging to the succubus walking right next to him. In any other situation, he would've broken away from her grip (which was much stronger in this instance than you'd think), but there was a more important matter on his mind.

"What were you doing in the nurse's office Kurumu?" He asked.

"She brought me in to take care of this lump I had on my heads after..." The bluenette stopped recalling her story mid sentencewhen she remembered how she got in the nurse's office , she quickly released her grip from the Uchiha's arm and balled her fists in fury. "That little brat Yukari!" She exclaimed, causing the devil to raise an eyebrow in question.

"Yukari? What does she have to do with this?" He wondered.

"She knocked me out with a freakin' wash bin?!" The succubus yelled. "And that was after she called me a cow and insulted my boobs! I swear if I find her, I'm gonna strangle her and make her beg for my forgiveness; and only when she's begging for mercy from me, then I'll-" before her tirade can continue any further, Sasuke cut her off.

"Get back on track."

The girl in question, stopped mid rant and rubbed the back of her head, feeling a little embarrassed. "Sorry. After she fixed my wound, the student police and all those beat up students showed up; and then you and that Kuyo guy showed up."

"She didn't do anything strange to you, did she?" Sasuke questioned.

"No, why? Is something happening?" Kurumu asked.

"Not completely sure, but until tomorrow, stay away from that office. If the Student Police are right' then that nurse might be the reason behind all those students you saw in there."

Kurumu wanted to gasp hearing this but refrained. From the short time she spent with Mako, the woman seemed to be really sweet and caring. To be behind all the students ending up in that room was downright manipulative and if Sasuke was right, then it was just scary that someone with that kind of appearance could be capable of something like that. Some would say it was hypocritical of her to think that considering her male harem plan earlier in the school year, but in spite of her methods, her intentions were at least good. She wanted to ensure the survival of her people, and no one was physically harmed from her actions. Well, except Moka, but she called her out to a fight and she DID g t her comeuppance from the vampire's awakened form. And there was Tsukune, but it's not like she manipulated the guys with her charm to kick the crap out of him...

But this situation was different from hers. People were getting hurt from these actions filled with nothing but malice as far as she was concerned. The optimist in her didn't want to believe that Mako pulled it off though. After all, Sasuke did say that she MIGHT be the one behind it, not that she WAS. As far as the here and now went, the woman was innocent until proven guilty. For the time being she wanted to take her mind off such horrid thoughts and on happier ones, such as the ones she got from snuggling closer to her destined one. Said destined one however, put her right back into a less than happy mood with his next question.

"Do you know where Yukari's room is?"

"YEAH RIGHT!" She yelled. "If I knew where that little washboard chested brat's room was, I'd..."

The devil tuned the blue haired girl out as she began to rave about Yukari, something he was starting to get good at (mentally tuning her out at least, it was very difficult to physically do the same because of her constant need to intimately close to him). While the succubus went on, he was contemplating whether or not he should give the witch the heads up about the nurse. It's not like she was in any condition that required attention from the nurse, and come tomorrow the nurse will be gone with the regular school doctor back in. Even so, he felt that he couldn't in good conscious leave the kid blind about this.

"Sasukeee..." Kurumu whined, bringing his focus back on the girl clinging on to him, who decided to cling even tighter to him. "I don't like it when you space out like that..."

"What did I say about getting too close?" He asked, agitation clear in his voice, but the blush that crept to his cheeks betrayed the annoyance (?) he was feeling. That blush didn't go unnoticed by the short girl.

"Say what you want Sasuke, but that blush on your face tells me you like the attention I give you!" The young woman giggled, much to the chagrin of Sasuke who could only growl.

Damn her and damn his body for betraying him!

"...Do you think that the nurse really was the one behind all those students getting hurt?" She asked, switching gears. Tried as she might, the topic still crossed her mind. Perhaps talking with someone else will put her at ease.

"Can't say for sure," The devil admitted. He definitely thought Mako as odd when he saw her yesterday, but he didn't think that oddness came from her being behind some hair brained scheme. The only people that would know for sure beyond simple speculation was the Student Police.

And while he usually wasn't one for eavesdropping, he definitely would've liked to be a fly on the wall for the questioning Kuyo was giving Mako...

Outside the nurse's office, Mako stood right in front of Kuyo. While the Yoko's face showed a calm and happy expression, his eyes bore a deep cutting intensity. One that threatened to end the life of whoever stood in front of it. Mako was no naive fool however, she knew that look all too well. She's given it out to a few people herself in fact. Though she wouldn't allow herself to show any sort of reaction to the look. Instead, choosing to feign innocence.

"You've been very busy today Nurse Yakumaru," The Student Police member stated.

"I'm always busy Kuyo," the nurse corrected. "But today has been a bit of a hassle. I'm still reeling from the fact that a single student caused as much damage as he did...before he was put through horrible damages himself," she said, not at all being subtle.

"Once again Nurse Yakumaru, I apologize for my actions. Please believe what I did was absolutely necessary as simply reasoning with Mr. Rikiishi wasn't going to work in my situation," after his flimsy excuse, Kuyo was very quick to change the topic of the conversation. "But you see, that's why I, along with the rest of the Public Safety Commission are here because Mr. Rikiishi is the fourth in a group of students who in the last week have been in physical altercations with other students, Mr. Rikiishi's being the fourth,"

"That's horrible..." was her fake response, as if she wasn't the one causing these mishaps.

"Quite, and the thing is Ms. Yakumaru is that in our first three cases when we ask the students what happened, they seemed to have no memory of what they did. The last thing they remember was seeing you in the hospital..."

Fully aware of what the Yoko was implying, Mako took immediate defense to the accusation: "Are you saying I had something to do with what happened to the he students?" She questioned.

"I'm sorry Nurse Yakumaru, but with the information I've been given it's the natural assumption." Kuyo stated. "And your protesting is very suspicious..."

The nurse gave the blonde a very hard glare and began her retort: "I began a nurse for a reason Kuyo. There was one philosophy that was beaten into me growing up: that race and power determined EVERYTHING. Those of a high monster class or those with pull were blessed with a normal life at worst and opportunities at best. While the weak, those that looked different, were cursed. Having to fight every step just for the chance at a normal life. I've watched friends DIE through sickness or through murder because of that philosophy. I hated that life, so I became a nurse to help anyone and everyone that I could, no matter what their background. And for you to accuse me of something so twisted makes me sick!"

Silence befell the two as they simply stared at one for what felt like an eternity. The silence was broken however when Keito opened the door and saw the two. "President Kuyo sir," she began. "I finished searching through the office, there's nothing out of the ordinary in there."

"So you've been snooping through my office?" Mako questioned.

"With permission from the headmaster of course," Kuyo was quick to reply. "Keito, I'd like for you to stay in the office and assist Nurse Yakumaru in ny way you can, understand?"

"Yes sir," Was Keito's answer before she headed back inside the office.

"I hope you don't mind that we have members of the Public Safety Commission rotate in to your office, do you? If you're true to your word, then you wouldn't mind we come in and keep an eye on things do you?"

"...Of course not..." Mako answered.

"Very well, if you don't need anything else, Nurse Yakumaru, I'll be taking my leave now. Have a nice day..." The yoko turned his back ready to leave but what he wasn't aware of was that he left himself open for a VERY dangerous strike...

"Very well Kuyo, thank you for your time. I hope you have a nice day..." Her hand mutated once again into the needle that was the source of so many people's misery the last week, and with Kuyo's back open, she was going to make one of her greatest catches to date...

Chapter End

I am SO sorry for taking over a year to give AOAD a full chapter update to a mini arc that has YET to be finished! The goal was to have it done it one, not to split it up into three parts...Doing more "original" chapters vs. copying and pasting manga chapters/anime episodes is a lot harder and time consuming. I know, it surprised me too. On top of that, the last year and a half hasn't been too kindly to me as my laptop crapped out on me for good this time(finished what I did here on my sister's IPad), my health kind of going in the shitter this year so the money I had saved for a new laptop went to medicines and hospital visits and the biggest factor is I simply wasn't motivated to work on AOAD.

But considering the time it's been since I lasted updated and the fact that it's my 3 year Fanfic writing anniversary, I feel that you guys deserved something at least. Thanks for the years of writing guys, good and bad. The fact that almost 200 people care enough about my shitty stories to want to follow me is honestly a miracle. I know I say stuff like every time a story of mine hits some kind of milestone, but I honestly mean it. Having the audiences that these stories have and people liking them enough to put them in communities with other stories means a ton.

Put I've gone on long enough with this ramble. The third part to this will Chapter 7 will be done when it's done. I've learned that I am horrible following schedules I set for myself. Til then, I'll see you guys for more Awakening of A Devil!
