10. Temper

The sun raided my eyes when the curtains automatically slid open. Groaning I put the pillow over my eyes and waved my hand behind me telepathically shutting them close. Calvin reopened them in to my annoyance, I tightened the pillow on my head that did very little in protecting my eyes from the sunlight so I sat up in bed squinting from the bright rays. Dawn was sleeping on the end of my rather large bed; I sighed and swiftly turned my hips and reached my feet to the floor walking zombie-like to the closet.

I slipped on my favorite outfit today; denim short overalls with my sleeveless white button up silky shirt, and my brown jacket. I left my hair down and I saw my beige Polo Ralph Lauren high tops, I washed my face and teeth and headed to the kitchen to get cereal- well I didn't have anything else to eat to cereal was the better option. I grabbed one from the bucket loads of raw fish that were in my freezer and heated it to the core when I squeezed it and burned the thing inside out. To my dismay that was how my pet dragon liked it, I threw the outsized over-cooked fish towards Dawn and watched when he caught it gracefully into his mouth. He made a satisfied gurgle and purred before flying back to the living room. I snickered and jogged right after to join him but in the line of confusion my doorbell rang.

I never have guests.

"What the-"I said walking over to Dawn. "Cal?"

"It's Mr. Stark, Madam" I was taken aback for a second; I grabbed my backpack along the way of the hall and turned the knob.

"Hey Tony" I gave him and confused smile when we met gaze. "What are you doing here?" I asked I glanced down at his outfit in the effort, it was surprisingly stylish; a blue button up shirt with a black thin jacket on top, beige khakis with dark blue Converse.

"Uh I ah, wanted to pick you up so we could walk together to school" he said rubbing the back of his neck. I couldn't contain my smile. I closed the door behind me and walked with him out the gate. The gate closed behind us with the shutdown I heard from Calvin's system accessibility. I began to walk with Tony mindlessly grabbing my hand as we began to walk. I looked down and madly smiled.

"You know I didn't just show you my house so you can just come like you own the place, it would have been better if you didn't know" I said smiling.

"I know, I wanted to do it as a gentleman favor" He chuckled. "You know" he raised our entwined hands as a gesture.

"Ah, so even if we weren't dating you wouldn't do it" I smirked.

"Yes, I would've, but I didn't know where you lived back then so you can't blame me" his head leaned to the side watching me when he finished. It has been a week since the date with the now dating boyfriend and we called it official two days ago, it has been none stop texting and calling over the week but I never grew tired of it, maybe I enjoyed it because I wanted to spend as much time with him as possible. Over the years I didn't get much attention, and now was the only way to get it back.

I shook head and laughed. It wasn't long until we had gotten to school. We walked in and on the point I felt stares on Tony and I- mostly me- but it didn't matter, I had someone by my side to defend me if anything happened. He walked me to my locker, his locker was five lockers away which Rhodey was right beside mine and Pepper's was to the left side three more down. I took my books out and as I closed it a blonde head was wrapping her arms around Tony's neck.

"Tony!" the blonde yelled, I was clenching the side of my locker.

"Uh, hey Whitney" Tony fake smiled; he hugged her back and let her go moving to my side and grabbing my books from me.

"Uh, so this is your friend now?" she asked eyed me; I glared and clenched me fist.

"Um, girlfriend" Tony corrected; she looked at me again with death in her eye. The description didn't make her agree; in fact she made a face of disgust and looked back at Tony flashing her fake cheeky smile again.

I glared in return.

"You know Tony you could do so much better" she smirked crossing her arms. Tony ignored the comment and sighed.

Patience One

"Whitney, what's that supposed to mean?" Tony eyed Whitney as if he was insulted.

"Nothing, just saying you got another groupie with you. Like Pepper" she said shifting to her other foot.

Patience Two

"Whitney you should leave" Tony pointed out towards the end of the hallway.

"Watch your back girl" She threatened glaring as she left.

Patience Tree

I rudely grabbed the books from Tony hands and furiously quick-walked to my class even though the bell hadn't even rung. I was on fire not literally, if I was I probably would have ashed the school to the ground. For the sake of my mom and dad- and her face- I kept calm I cooled myself mentally advising myself to behave. I didn't even hear the apologies Tony mentioned back there, I just wanted to get away. Inside the warm classroom I saw Rhodey in the class already and I have him a frustrated look; he understood instantly. I walked past the empty seats and nodded at the teacher in his desk as he prepared for today's lesson. I slammed my books next to him and banded my head on the desk balding up my fists in frustration.

"She told you something again, didn't she?" he placed his elbow on the desk and leaned his head towards his fist.

"In front of Tony too" I said in disappointment.

I heard him sigh "Don't let her get into you, she's trying to hurt you emotionally" he advised.

"I want to hurt her physically" I said quietly raising my head a bit, Rhodey chuckled and nudged my arm; Tony rushed into the class room alert all over his face when he saw my seat empty, Rhodey signaled his gaze over to him and pointed his finger over my head . His face relaxed and walked to the seat behind Rhodey.

"Hey, I'm sorry for what she said to you" Tony apologized behind my back.

I chuckled turning my head. "And why should you apologize? You didn't do anything" I dimly smiled.

"Well I want to make her apologize but I know she won't do it, she never does- even if I asked her." he said.

"No kidding" I chuckled sarcastically. "You have the most crazed and obsessed ones over you" I joked hypothetically.

"But the hottest one is mine to keep" he smirked; I humorously winked and turned forward on point with the bell.

The class began within seconds, Pepper walked in five minutes after making the teacher give her a warned look. "Ms. Potts you know I don't allow tardiness in my classroom, I'm afraid you're going to have to get a pass from detention" he calmly went over the rule to her. Pepper gave Mr. Abster a shameful look; I just had to barge in.

"But I was her first time late" I interjected. He looked at me in caution too and sighed.

"Fine, take you seat Patricia" Mr. Abster motioned her to move.

She widely smiled my direction and took the seat that was behind me.

The rest of the day was tedious- as usual- I had barely paid any attention to what the teachers were saying. Most likely because I already knew every topic there was and probably knew what they were going to say next- without my powers knowing. I was in Gym my seventh period but today Coach Jenkins didn't have any activity for us to do so he gave us a free period for the day- surprisingly. I was with Pepper talking about random stuff, she would laugh at my sarcasm and I would laugh at her gossip. I watched Tony by the side lines watching how he played basketball with the guys, in his attempts at looked towards me, Happy ran just in front of him bumping him out the way and taking to the dribbled ball away from Tony. The crack-ups from the guys echoed the gym and I chuckled along with Pepper. In the joke of it all, spray-tanned legs were blocking my view.

"Who know" she looked at her nails, "Just because you're new here doesn't mean you'll get special treatment from everyone" Whitney snickered while her entourage giggling behind her.

"Who said I wanted any of it?" I asked getting up from the bench.

"You know damn well you want it, it's why you're going out with Tony. My Tony" she pointed her thumb to her chest.

"Enough with the Tony thing already, you're so obsessed. You're not even with him" I said laughing a bit.

"Your just one of those people who thinks they can do whatever they want a get whoever they want; well you can't" she leaned forward.
"So listen up pest" she spat. "You're not going near Tony" she hissed.

Patience One

"Go back to where ever you came from, and stay there." She raised her voice, Pepper and others faces turned towards us. "Tony was mine to begin with and I'm not going to let any pest take him away from me!"

Patience Two

"Whitney, leave her alone." Pepper defended.

"Shut up groupie!" Whitney commented the expected bouncing from the basketball stopped and it now caught the attention of the boys, and Tony.

Patience Three

"You have no friends here, all you have is this piece of crap standing next to me you call a best friend." she eyed Pepper chuckling, her dimwits followed.

Patience Four

"You better leave" I said pressing my teeth together.

Patience Five

"Or what? You're going to threaten me like you did in the hallway?" She smiled "I'm not afraid of you."

Patience Six

"On the contrary, I plan to make your life as miserable as it can get" she smirked.

Patience Seven

"My daddy is the C.E.O of Stark International so he can get rid of you" she cleaned her nails on her shirt, as if they'd break with the slightest of air.

Patience Eight

"I actually feel sad for you, you have this thing as your best friend and your other so called friend, and wannabe boyfriend" she continued to the end of my patience, Pepper grabbed my arm.

"Come on Mia, she's not worth our time." she began to pull looking at Tony and Rhodey for help, but the boys just looked as my face became hard and deadening.

Patience Nine

"I would hate to see how pathetic you parents would be" she laughed, that was it, that little line was all it took.

Patience Ten

I snapped, I swung my already white fist straight to her face, her laughing stopped instantly and her dimwits stared with shocked expressions. Whitney flew a couple feet towards where the boys were playing. Rhodey looked at me with astound; Pepper was trying not to stop me even though she desperately wanted me to for the sake of not getting me in trouble. I felt Tony's intricate vibe and it made me feel worst about myself; I ran mindlessly to Whitney already balding up my fist to knock her out and wanting her to devour her own words she just insulted me with.

Whitney stood trying to swing her weaken fist, with her now bloody nose it dipped to her shirt, I caught her hand in reflex I bended it to the side and turned it to make her punch herself at the side of her face. I kicked her right off her feet bringing her right to the wooden floor, she pulled me down with her that's when I got on top and began punching her blocked face. Tony ran to me while everything happened in a blink of an eye. He grabbed my waist and pulled me right off her before I could've done anything else, I tried to contain the fire and violence that overcame me but it was already out. I tried to get out of his grip, but he held onto me restraining my kicks and pulls from which I tried to compel. Tony backed away with his strong arms still around me keeping me from getting out of the big trouble I was already in.

"Don't ever insult me, my friends or my parents like that ever again!" I threatened. "If you do, so help me I will do everything so much faster you won't even know came your way Whitney Stane!" I screamed at her, Tony and Rhodey were now holding me back making sure I didn't get out of Tony's surprisingly strong grip.

I could feel my veins on the side of my neck burn, and my powers trying to break free in all directions. I slowly began to calm down when I heard Tony's voice in my ear. The gym teacher immediately grabbed Whitney in future attempts and escorted Whitney and I to the principal's office, he was disappointed.

Whitney's nose was still bleeding when we both sat on the opposite chairs from Principle Nara, she was trying to clog the bleeding from running any further, but we both knew a good amount of blood will be lost. I also noticed the small cut on her lip and eyebrow. I really messed up on her; I took my anger out the wrong way, very wrong way. We sat quietly as Principle Nara began to speak.

"Miss Renaldie, your hostility and deliverance towards Ms. Stane was intangible with the scene you both started in Physical Education today. It is unacceptable here in the Tomorrow Academy and I cannot hold any sympathy for the two of you. The precautions were very well explained to both of you what cause to react in a rather violent way?" She asked I gave her an Are-you-kidding-me? Look and waved my hand around Whitney in gesture to her answer. She sighed and looked at Whitney.

"Ms. Stane, you deliberately insulted Miss Renaldie about her family and herself, confronting her in the middle of class and creating a scene in the mist of it all. Really, how would you expect Ms. Renaldie to react?" She looked at Whitney for an answer but she just turned her head the other direction ignoring what Principle Nara had just asked her. "You have been a calm student these three years and high school, I surly anticipate you won't counter this way towards Ms. Renaldie ever again" she paused "Or you will be expelled from this campus. Understood?" She asked sternly.

Whitney nodded looking away.

"I'm afraid I can't demulsify any consequences other than explosion because I cannot tolerate this type of inaccurate behavior in our highly standardized school is too great to have it on our clean record. So I will do this, since you are a few weeks into this school I let you off with a warning, but next time- which I hope won't come- I set you with suspension and community service."

She turned to Whitney who was still looking away, "But for you Ms. Stane, since you affronted Ms. Renaldie, she gets to choose what your consequences may be, if it were her I let you choose her consequences but she didn't, you started this so, Ms. Renaldie you can choose Miss Stane's punishment-"

"I don't want to punish her" I stopped her before she could finish. "My amount of respect is insufficient and irrational with her; the quality to my choices doesn't satisfy me, so with all due respect I just want to get back to class" I said furrowing my eyes.

"Very well, Miss Stane today is your lucky day; I'll have you escorted to your classes"

"I'm fine, thanks" I waved and exited her office; I entered the halls walking in slow pace to my last class while in the thought of it all, I looked at my hand. With strength of a thousand men of course it wasn't bruised or broken, but I actually felt bad leaving her nose broken.

We went our separate ways; I headed in my class as she did with hers. When I entered I immediately met eyes with Tony I gave him a soft smile wiping his worried expression off his face.

I saw my classmates smile at me-most of them- Whitney's entourage were still giving me warned faces, but they knew what would come to them if they confronted me too. I smiled back and sat on my seat next to Tony.

"Ms. Renaldie, I hope everything is fine" Mr. Flynn asked before I nodded. I turned around and gave both Rhodey and Pepper a gentle smile signaling nothing happened. I started writing my notes when Tony glanced at me and smiled, I continued the oversized notes that plastered the board and began, pressuring the time to tick away.

I found myself drifted in thought; I wasn't in my own personal state right now. I actually regret what happened in gym this afternoon, but I also didn't like that she insulted me that way. It was disrespectful for me and for my parents, especially my parents. That's when the thought came to mind- I haven't read nor even finished the books. I need to continue the progress of my powers, I should start them today since it was Thursday apparently I didn't have anything scheduled for today; I hope.

I took out my phone and scanned my surveillance cameras from home; I watched as Dawn, he lay there asleep on his rug dreaming whatever dragons dreamt while they were asleep. I smiled to myself. I wondered how I haven't paid much attention to him lately; that needed to be changed.

I sighed and put my phone back into my pocket.

There was no homework today; we had the weekend off. Tony instantly went to my side when we walked out the exit of the classroom. We started to walk to his house; we didn't even want to wait for the other two. We walked hand-in-hand to the so called armory of his. Silent the way there, I had no intention of ruining the comfortable silence, the sound of the summer air and cars passing down the streets. Ten minutes into the walk, Tony turned when we arrived at our destination. The doors automatically opened when it sensed his presence and directed me inside first. We walked in and I sat in the arm chair away from the computer, where Tony had headed.

I looked at my phone again with worry knotting in my stomach.

"Something on your mind?" He asked me, catching my attention. I didn't respond at first but carefully thought about what I was going to respond.

"Am I a bad person?" I asked laying my hand on my knees staring in thought how I used this hand to punch someone.

"I don't think so, is this about the fight at gym?" he smiled, "because let me tell you, you looked badass."

I narrowed my eyes at him before raising an eyebrow, "No I wasn't" I rolled my eyes. "I kind of feel bad for her, I always try so hard to control my temper, but she just came and disrespected me like I was her long-lived enemy." I said getting up.

"She likes to get on people's nerves a lot" he smiled.

I sighed trying to get the image out of my head. I stared at him for a moment before biting my upper lip in thought.

"She told you something else, didn't she?" he walked over to me.

"At the beginning . . . she did" I hugged myself.

He got an annoyed look and stepped closer in my direction.

"Why didn't you tell me?" he pinched the bridge of his nose.

"I didn't think it was a big deal, besides Rhodey was there" I lifted my hand, in assuring him Rhodey could've handled it; he scoffed.

"Still you should have told me, I could have stopped this" he grabbed my upper arm and slowly turned me to face him.

"But you didn't" I looked away ashamed.

He sighed and wrapped his strong arms around my waist with his face buried on my neck. He breathed out through his nose giving me chills down my neck. "I don't want to see you hurt" he said in a hush tone.

"I won't; don't worry about me so much. I mean we barely started dating and it looks like you've had a love connection for ages. I am more capable in taking care of myself" I smiled at the sentence I just said.

I heard him chuckle still buried on my neck. "I know, but every princess needs her knight in shining armor to protect her though anything." He kissed my neck gently sending down more shivers. "I believe you came as a sign to me." he changed the subject.

I frowned, "What do you mean?"

"I believe my old friend put you in my path to recover." he paused. "To get over the past and live the future."

I pulled away to look into his blue eyes. "You're saying that Dess sent me in your path, so you can forget about her?" I had a worry look.

He sighed slowly, hugging me closer again.

"You remind me of her, in so many ways I can't describe it. Her personality, her genius mind, her way of caring, her gorgeous smile, and those electrified blue mixed with green eyes I have always loved. This is why I don't want to lose you" his arms around me became tighter. "I'm not saying that I like you just because you remind me of her. No, but because you're here to help me change and be myself again. The guy I used to be." He pulled back now, his blue eyes meeting my mixed ones.

"I've only known you for a couple of weeks, but you have made me believe in love at first sight. You made me believe in myself again, you raised my confidence and redeemed the man I used to be." He chose his next words carefully. "I want you in my life for as long as I live."

My body was numb, I felt every bit of my nerves sting with adrenaline, excitement, sadness, anger, or maybe all of the above. I wanted it to stop, but even with super strength I felt like a weaked new born with letting the lightest bit of air not me down. If I was going to do the right thing I would pull away, having this secret from him makes me cringe every day. Yet again, I never do the right thing. I just want to scream out "I'm alive!" in front of his face, but not letting him know is better than putting him in danger. That will always remind to keep distance from it.

To my luck Rhodey walked in making both of us jump a few inches away from each other in scares, I smiled my cocky shy smile and went to go sit back on the couch.

"Hey man looks like you just saw a ghost, or something." Rhodey chuckled, as he winked at me.

"No, I was just thinking, about stuff" Tony stuttered and faced his armor; I kept smiling and hid in my books. To my dismay Pepper walked in before I could've said something in defense, she noticed I was there and sat next to me instantly. I didn't want to tell her right away what occurred just now because I knew she would squeal.

I kept it for myself for right now in order to be safe. "So, any gossip I should know about your new lover boy" Pepper smirked raising her leg on the sofa.

I chuckled at her sarcasm "I'll text you the 411 later" I smiled at her.

I watch Tony talk to Rhodey about who knows what, their lips moving to the rhythm of the conversation. I glanced back at Pepper, she was ranting on about something she saw in chemistry class. It's not that I was ignoring her; I was just confirmed everything she would say sticking together the things in understood that came out her mouth. After she was done talking about heaven knows what I decided I had to leave, I needed to read those books at home.

"I have to go home guys" I said as I stood to hug Pepper goodbye.

"Why so soon?" Tony asked turned his face from the computer.

"It's not like I'm not going to see you guys tomorrow" I smirked.

I said my last goodbye to Rhodey when I headed out the so called armory. Tony walked me as usual; we walked hand-in-hand again. As usual I enjoyed the comfortable silence until thoughts came into my mind.

"Tony?" I asked looking forward at the sky.

"Yes?"

"Do you believe in the afterlife?" I wouldn't ask such a rational question, but I would is I wanted to know what he thinks about it, or if he believed in such a thing.

"Yes, I believe people go to a spiritual world. Like my parents, maybe there in a better place" he smiled. I thought about his answer.

"Me too, I believe my parents are looking down at us right now."I smiled one last time towards the sky before looking right towards Tony.

"If they are, I hope they approve me dating their beautiful daughter." he smiled kissing my hand.

"I know they do." I whispered to him and continued to walk.

We reached my house soon later, when we walked close to the metal gates they opened automatically sensing my presence through the motion sensors. I smirked mischievously at the look of Tony's expression towards the highly-advance house. After, many visits outside my house, he still had the surprised face. "Welcome home, Miss Renaldie" Cal greeted though the income.

"Um who's that?"

"He's Calvin, my personal highly classified built-in house assistant." I pointed out.

"Like a person?"

I chuckled "No, he a super computer I built. He helps me with mostly everything" I shortened.

"Good evening Mr. Stark, I appreciate you accompany Miss Renaldie to our household" Calvin greeted.

He looked stunned. "Hey, Calvin" he greeted back. "I designed a similar one also, Jarvis: altered to design and coordinate my inventions" he smirked. "Also help me out with various stuff."

"Okay, I'd like to meet this Jarvis of yours one day. But he is in no match for Calvin" I smirked and walked into the opened gates.

"Okay, we'll talk it out tomorrow in our date remember" he winked.

"How could I forget" I smiled "Goodnight Tony" I smirked opening the front door.

He winked again and walked out the gates "Have a splendid evening Mr. Stark"

"Thanks Cal" he nicknamed. "I intend to."

I hung my bag on the rail and headed down stairs. The lab lit up with the blue projected holograms screening the room; I headed towards the boxes.

"Hey buddy!" I yelled while Dawn got on two feet and towered over me to lick my face with his huge tongue; I laughed a bit before he got on all fours and waged his very long tail in excitement. "You're such a house pet." I said sarcastically. I went over and sat on the spinning chair behind my c shaped desk.

"Okay, let's see what you left me here" I grabbed the dark blue book that lay on top of my desk.

I read the 1st chapter; who I am.

"There are many things you may not know my dear, we grew up in a whole called Haznia, millions of light years away from earth. We were invaded by Judis, the greatest and most powerful genetic mortal and Sorcerer in the universe. He wanted all power that all worlds and our people had. Your father and I were determined and forced to leave in order to save you and our powers. In the travel to earth, we met your uncle Howard Stark along with his newly wedded wife Maria Stark. We met Howard when we negotiated own creating our company Adams Industries, your father and Howard instantaneously became great friends along with Maria and I finding out were both pregnant and timed to the same date, with your best friend Anthony. I met her in the NASA cooperation when I was working as an aerospace engineer at that time, but I quit and reassigned myself as a doctor. It was relieving that Tony arrived two days earlier than you; imagine the struggle to celebrate both of yours.

"When you were born, you were unlivable; we were from a different planet much more advanced than humans, you couldn't stand earth atmosphere, so your fragile human body gave out. It attacked your immune system, and nervous system.

"As devastated as your father and I were, we couldn't have left you dead. You were too important to us and to the fate of our world, we sacrificed to save you. Your father and I gave up our own powers in order to save you, mine: air and water, and your fathers: Fire and earth; sadly it had barely worked. You wouldn't be able to live long. But that's when a miracle came and revived you; King Hay'jun came from an alternate universe as humans know it as the afterlife. He granted you the wish to survive and made you the next sorcerer with the save abilities he had and the same energy that powers our people and world.

"You were the chosen one ever before you've created you. Your fate relied on all of us and you as destined as always were going to rule when you're fully matured. To my dismay sweetheart, I don't ever believe our endings would've come, but this was way I wrote this book, in case something did.

"You held such responsibility as a newborn; to that day you were forced to hide your powers from the humans, but it was too great to hide. At your 1st age your physical influences were developed, Fire, Water, Air, and Earth. Every time you'd sneeze you would blow your father or me to the nearest wall. Your physical abilities were uncontrollable. Your brain capacity improved 25% than a regular child, you were already reading things kids 5 and over were reading; you were very bright. For a human that's a miracle, but for an inheritably sorcerer it was a bit surprising. Regular Haznian children would begin reading at the age of three. "

"At age 5 you're special powers influenced; your telepathic powers not only levitated objects but read and saw things no other sorcerer could like: read minds, manipulate the mind, create and bring back memories, control the mind as if it was yours, know and absorb knowledge like no other. King Hay'jun had the same power, which made him god of Haden; we realized that he passed his power to you in order to same our kind. The reason we never let you physically influence your abilities is because we were afraid of the damages and revivals that you would face."

"At the age of 7 you already had an advanced more into your metal ability; King Hay'jun's power increased your brain's capacity by 90%. Your brain was already enforced as a mature female; you outsmarted your father and I. This was the time when your father took you to the Adams Tower to be introduced; as your uncle had his, Stark International. You inspired your father to expand his own company into different states, in order to help the vulnerable. It was your idea to help the useless; even though you have your power you also wanted to use your knowledge to invent new ways to make the society better.

"I always resembled you like your father, intelligent, kind, charismatic, charming, and those beautiful eyes just like his blue and green mixed made you without a doubt impeccable. Without you we wouldn't have been the parents we are today; your smartness changed the way we saw you. You were a tough one since the day you were born and still are to this day.

"My older brother Benjamin or as you would call him Ben; always made sure you were always protected as you were growing up. He wasn't around much in the beginning but when he vamoosed from Haznia, he soon found us in the effort. I won't go deep into the details but he arrived on earth the same reason as we did. He was your father's left hand man and my best friend. He became your fathers speaker of Adams Tower and his research partner, from there we were close for the sake of you.

"Ben would make sure you were home safe and school taken care of. He always had body guards around you if he wasn't around, other than that he was always 100% around you. He was very protective because you were his only niece and didn't want any danger on your behalf.

" My dear, there are much secrets to this family that you are bound to know, this book was especially made for that. I'm sorry it took me this long to show you but like I said I wasn't planned for our endings to come so soon; take good care my little Dess we might not be here now, but we will always be in your heart. Empress Emiliah Desiree Renaldie Adams, you will change our family's and world's future fate. As the power King Hay'jun once had, you are the next one to fulfill Haznia's destiny. We may not be around to help but we will always be there to guide you. I love you."

I closed the book and set it down carefully on the desk. I exhaled in what has been held for a very long time; I actually knew who I was and new that I have more than just physical influences. I had abilities I've never met before. There is still so much to learn, so much that I'm not stopping here.

"Cal?" I spoke.

"Yes Miss Adams?"

"I think we should pay an old mate a visit" I came across the picture that was left in the box.

"Appointment situated for Monday, Miss Adams. I have scheduled a conference at noon" Cal informed.

"Thanks Cal"

"Miss Adams, I should consider you getting some rest. Need I remind you, you have a big day tomorrow evening?"

I chuckled and setback down what I was about to use, my wrench. "Alright, Dawn lets go to bed!" I yelled behind me.

Dawn followed suit as I headed up the stairs and into bed under my covers. Cal locked down the house once I headed upstairs. I thought of the reunion I would have on Monday.

I hope he believes in ghosts.

"Mom I don't want to die!"I cried.

"You're not honey; we will always be with you." My mom said placing her soft hand on my cheek.

"The company is all yours now; I will guide you there baby. Never forget I love you okay, you are my greatest creation." My dad's voice vanished into the clouds along with his body.

Deep breaths pounded my chest and sweat ran down my body, this nightmare wasn't ending. I really hope it does because the memory itself was beginning to haunt me. The light dimmed on when I walked through the kitchen. I grabbed a cup and poured myself cold water from the fridge.

"Miss Adams, Iron Man is suspended over the domicile." A surveillance camera hovered over to me; it was Iron Man just hovering there glancing at my house, I think. Dawn growled at Iron Man spreading his wings in attack. I waved my hand on his head, signaling him to stay.
"Calvin, hack into Iron Man's main frame." After a second he responded.

"Activating complete, Madam Iron Man is hacking into the surveillance cameras." I ran to the lab downstairs with Dawn beating me to it.

"Block his entre, malfunction Iron Man's air capacity!" I demanded as I unlocked the house.

"What the", Tony yelped as he landed on my lawn.

"System malfunction" Jarvis alerted.

"What!" Tony panicked," Reboot, reboot!"Tony yelled back.'

"Iron Man's armor is in and equipped to remote." I headed outside to where he had landed, or dropped; Dawn stayed behind, even though I felt his strong urge into ripping Iron Man apart- I wasn't going to allow it anyways.

"So, you wanted to hack into my surveillance, huh?" I placed my hands on my hips once I stopped a few feet away from him.

"Uh no, I was just, uh, scanning who's house this was." Tony chuckled nervously.

"Uh huh, luckily for you I'm not going to dismantle you and find out who you really are Hot shot, so I let you off with a warning this time only because I'm a fan." I smiled. "I thought I said not to worry about me." I smirked as I controlled him to stand up with the remote.

"Yeah I remember sorry about that, guess I just had to make sure." I couldn't tell what gesture he was doing. "How are you controlling me exactly?" he asked.

"I have ways, too. Now since I don't know who you are, I will let you go and not discover myself who you really are. Tell me you're here." I smirked.

"Uh, well I just wanted know if this was your house"

"So you scanned every house to find mine?" I disabled auto control.

"Thanks, and yes, I guess so. Looks like you aren't able to defend yourself so I thought you would need help or something." he had his control back and rubbed the back of her medaled neck. "I believe you would've been asleep and wouldn't disable my controls and overdrive my systems." I guess he smiled by the cocky voice he spoke.

"I wasn't but when you have security it kind of warns you, you know" I smirked.

"Touché" he started to hover. "Sorry about the accident Miss Renaldie. Have a lovely evening Madam." He said charismatically.

I smirked once again, "its fine. Have a nice evening Iron Man." I walked back inside and made sure he left. I headed back to my room and locked down the house, again.

How was I going to sleep now?
