Charmed

Into the Past

Chapter 10

Confrontations

Author's notes: I don't own Charmed Only Benjamin and Elizabeth.

"What the hell is your problem?!" Prue, the eldest of the charmed ones, demanded once the twins entered the house.

"We don't have any problems." Benjamin said crossing his arms in a defensive stance.

"Like hell you don't!" Piper shouted. "You just killed that man!"

"Vanquished is more like it." Elizabeth said darkly. "He was evil! He would've killed Skye and he would've attempted to kill Prue as well!"

"You can't just vanquish human beings!" Phoebe argued. "We don't do that!"

Beth responded, "You really think they would've found anything on the killer?"

"They would've." Ben continued, "But it would've been too late for Skye. She would be dead now if I hadn't killed that bastard!"

"You can't just kill human beings." Paige shot back at the twins. "That's not how it works."

"Oh yeah?" Beth said, "Works for me. What about you Ben?"

"Sure thing." He said.

"Get the hell out of our house." Prue said in a dangerous but low voice pointing to the door. "And don't you dare come back."

The twins surprisingly looked hurt by this statement. They quickly put their emotionless masks in place and shimmered away without saying anything. They didn't trust themselves to speak without breaking down in tears.

"What is with them?" Paige said, "Don't they know they can't just solve their problems by murdering everyone?"

"Apparently they think they can." Piper snorted.

"I hate to say this." Prue said, "But I think we have to find and vanquish them."

"No, there has to be a way to save them, to... to make them see sense." Phoebe said desperately.

"I think they're way beyond help Phoebes." Piper said.

"Piper's right." Paige said, "Now I know I've only known you all for a couple of weeks. The same with Ben and Beth; but from what I've seen they've gone completely evil. They've murdered people; sure they've saved some innocents in the process but... the way they did it isn't right at all."

"Well, said Paige." Prue smiled approvingly at her newest sister. "I don't think I could've put it any better."

"Thanks."

"We have to find out where they've gone and we have to make a vanquishing spell and potion." Prue instructed. "Let's get to work."

Once Benjamin and Elizabeth had shimmered out they decided to concentrate on other matters instead of their whole family hating them. They began blasting demons; vanquishing everyone they came across taking out their anger and hurt on them.

"I hate them!" Beth cried as she threw a fireball at a demon. "I hate them for vanquishing dad!" She threw an energy ball. "I hate mom for giving up on him." she threw a stream of fire at another horde of demons. "And I hate them for kicking us out!" She threw another energy ball at the next demon in her line of sight. "I hate hate hate them!" She let out fire and used her telekinesis to destroy all the demons within a one mile radius.

She then sunk to her knees on the dirt floor of the underworld and burst into tears. Ben quickly reached his twin sisters side and pulled her into his chest; hugging her tightly; wishing that there was someway, or something he could do to take away her hurt and her pain.

Meanwhile in Ben and Beth's future things had begun to change drastically. Parker Halliwell watched as The Book of Shadows Began to change. She looked up and saw her mother come into the room.

"Parker I need you to get your cousin Melinda to go with you to the Manor and help Persephone watch the kids."

"Who?" She said looking at her mother confused.

"Persephone...Phon (pronounced Fawn)." She stated looking at her daughter. When she showed no recognition of the name she continued. "You're cousin... Aunt Prue's youngest daughter..."

"What?!" She exclaimed.

"Are you okay sweetie?" Her mother asked her in concern at her random outburst.

Parker looked like she was about to faint. "Yeah, yeah I'm fine mom."

"Are you sure?" Her mom asked concern etched on her face. "You look really Pale...If your not feeling up to it I can call Charlotte and ask her to help her."

"Huh?" She said not recognizing the name.

"Aunt Paige's youngest daughter..." She said looking at her daughter in worry. "Are you sure that you're okay honey?"

"Yeah," She said shakily. "I'm fine, I think I just need to lie down for a while."

"Okay, I'll call Charlotte to fill in for you."

"Thanks mom." Parker walked to her room in her moms condo and immediately called up her eldest sister PJ and her younger sister Peyton.

"Guys we have a big problem."

"So what you're saying is that Uncle Andy and Aunt Prue are supposed to be dead, and that Ben and Beth are supposed to have the source of all evil in them?
PJ said.

"That's exactly what I'm saying." Parker told her sisters.

"That's ridiculous!" Peyton responded. "Everyone knows that Ben and Beth grew up with us after Uncle Cole died to protect mom and the aunts from then avatars."

"No he didn't!" she argued back. "He was vanquished by mom and then he came back to life went crazy, got vanquished again before becoming a guide for Aunt Piper when she almost died."

"She did not!"

"She did too!"

"Guys enough alright!" their father said coming into the room. "What is all this fighting about?"

"Nothing." The three sisters mumbled in unison.

"It can't be nothing if you're having a huge fight about it." Coop said, "Now does one of you care to tell me what your fighting about."

"It's about Ben and Beth." PJ began hesitantly.

"What about them?" Coop said.

"I think they or maybe someone else... is messing with the timeline... with the past..." Parker said.

"Why do you think that?"

"Because everything is changing!" Parker said freaking out. "Aunt Prue is alive and is married and has kids. You guys aren't trying to vanquish Ben and Beth and Uncle Cole died from the avatars!"

"Calm down sweetie." Coop said trying to calm his middle daughter.

"I think she's lost it." PJ replied.

"I'm not crazy." She argued.

"Stop picking on your sister girls." Coop ordered. "Maybe your sister is right and there is something going on."

"Well how come she remembers what the timeline was before and not us." Peyton asked.

"Maybe because of her power of premonition." Coop suggested. "Maybe that's why she can see and remember what used to be before it was changed."

"The thing is... What are we going to do about it?" PJ asked.
