The day ended... Twilight and the others went home and I stayed in my house holding the blade and smiling. I picked up the mess that I had Made and the. Sat down on my couch. I kept the blade in my lap and just looked at it. As it started to get late I figured that it would be best if I turn in, maybe I can go out into the ever free forest tomorrow and cut stuff up... For the fun of it. I smiled at the idea and carried the blade into my bedroom. I placed it back in the case and laid it down in the corner of my room and closed it, but I didn't lock it. I then climbed into bed. I closed my eyes and started sifting off to sleep. And it was that night, I had an amazing dream, and it felt so real too.
I dreamt that with the sword I became a big hero... I fought dragons, and demons, and pillaged dungeons and fought all kinds of evil and hatred in the world. It was a stupid dream, like I could ever stop a dragon... Magic sword or not. But I had fun with my dreams and it seemed to last a while too, much to the point where I had completely forgotten I was asleep and I got wrapped up in the dream. It was only later on that I had started to slowly regain consciousness and started to wake up. I slowly opened up my eyes and stretched my arms. It took me a moment to remember that this was the real world that I live in, and that I was only dreaming. I let out a yawn and looked over to my side to check the time on the clock. It was almost noon, I must have forgotten to set my alarm last night and got to bed too early... I should be more careful, but it doesn't matter since today is Sunday and I don't have work luckily. As I went to set my alarm early for tomorrow my gaze reached past the clock and to the corner of the room where the case for the sword laid.
Then I noticed something wrong. The case was laying wide open, which isn't the way I had left it last time I used it, I remember closing the case before... Then what was worse was that I looked even closer and noticed that Itt was gone. The case was laying there wide open and empty. So this caused me to shoot up from my bed and sit up straight. I just sat there for a second. I was kinda starting to panic thinking that I had been robbed when something made me jump. It was a feeling of somebody grabbing my arm. I felt a hand grasp loosely around my wrist and I quickly pulled my hand back a whipped around to see what it was. I turned around to see that there was an arm reaching out and grabbing me...what the actual fuck!?
"Hey... Calm down..." A soft voice said under the blankets. It was a woman's voice and it was very pleasant sounding. Then she started to get up and the blankets fell off her and just covered her legs. She was completely naked, from top to bottom. Her eyes were partially closed and she used her other free hand to rub one eye and yawn. She had long pink hair... Pink hair! She finally opened her eyes and they were red. It wasn't like she was high or something, her iris was red. The next thing I paid attention to were her breasts, which were huge and quite outstanding. But, despite the fact that she was completely naked and in my bed and I don't know who the hell she is or where she came from... She's actually pretty cute. Too bad that she's probably a psychopath and this could be how I die.
"W...who are you?" I asked.
"Huh...?" She said looking at me. I felt really short of breath and I was unable to move. I was kinda frightened and confused at the same time. "Oh... My names Itt..."she said. "I'm your fairy sword, Alex..." She said.
"What...? My sword... But... You're not a sword." I said.
"Well not right now." She said. "It's been so long since I've had a master...I've been sleeping for something like five thousand years now..." She said stretching her arms and yawning. She lay back down and looked up at me and giggled. "Funny how I'm still tired..." She said yawning once more. "C'mon... Come back to bed." She said grabbing my arm and pulling me down.
"What? No... What's going on...? Who the hell are you and why are you in my bed?"
"I already told you... My name is Itt... I'm your fairy sword, and you're my master. As for why I'm in your bed... Well, I was cold... That case is very dark and cold at night... And your bed is nice and comfy..." She said grabbing hold of the blanket and snuggling it.
"I don't get it... You're a sword..."
"Yes..."
"And a human..."
"No I'm a fairy..."
"A f-fairy... You're a fairy..."
"Yes... I'm a fairy sword..." She said smiling.
"This Is a dream isn't it...? It has to be." I said. She reached over to me and grabbed my arm and pinched it hard. "Ow..." I said pulling back.
"See... Not a dream... This is real. "she said."I've been asleep for thousands of years and I decided that I needed a new master, so I came to you... I was awoken when you grabbed my Handel and held me... That's when I became your sword, and you, my master." She said.
"Master... But... I... I m no master... I'm a nobody... The only thing I've ever amounted to in my pathetic existence is nothing." I said.
"That's not true... I think you're special... If you weren't... Well you wouldn't have been able to become my master..." She said.
"Please stop calling me that..." I said. "My name is Zack..." I said. "Why uh... Oh god... I need to clear my head..." I said getting up and walking to the door. I opened the door and walked out into the living room. I walked over to the window and tried to open it up for some fresh air, but it was stuck. I left the window but it was probably just locked, though I didn't want to put in the effort. So I walked to the front door and walked out to the walkway outside. I leaned over the railing and just looked out at the world and took a deep breath. "Oh god... What the hell is happening?" I asked myself.
"Zack... Oh hey..." Said a voice next to me which made me completely freeze. I recognized the voice to be twilights and sure enough to when I turned around to check it was indeed her. And if I though this day couldn't be any more strange standing next to her was a large tall mare with a flowing celestial mane... I don't watch a lot of news, but I was almost completely certain that the large pony standing there was the fucking princess. "I uh... Brought a guest..." Said twilight blushing a bit. At this point... I... I just... I just couldn't, anymore.
"Are you Zachary miles...?" She asked looking over to me and smiling.
"Uh... YES YOUR HIGHNESS..." I said bowing to her awkwardly to which she just giggled.
"There's no need to be so formal... I'm just a guest... May we please come in; there are a few things I'd like to discuss with you." She said peacefully.
"D-discus... Me...? Wait... In my house!" I said. "Uh... Well, you see... There's, uh... It's messy... And... Small... And uh... Well..." I started stammering trying to find words but they just wouldn't come out of my mouth. I could literally feel everything crumbling down around me. And that's when disaster struck.
"Oh there you are master...!" Shouted Itt who had opened the door to come outside and walked out and grabbed my arm... Still completely naked. "Are you feeling better? Isn't spring air just the best?" She asked me completely indifferent from the whole situation. I just stood there... And I just... I don't even. Twilight was wearing the same stupefied face as I... The princess however was rather interested in her. She leaned closer and that's when Itt finally noticed them.
"Uhh..." Twilight and I both moaned.
"Ooh... Pony folk... I love the pony folk, they're so adorable... Especially these bigger ones with the horns and wings." Said Itt giggling and looking at the princess.
"Zack... Who is this woman...? Why was she in your house...? And more importantly... Why is she butt naked?"
"Alright... Twilight... I can explain... But you might not believe me..." I said. "She's Itt..." I said.
"She's it... What the hell does that mean?" Asked twilight.
"Damnit twilight... She's the fucking sword..." I said gesturing to her. "Or at least she claims to be. Look... I put the sword back in the case when I went to bed last night and I woke up this morning to see that she case was wide open, the sword was gone, and she was in my bed... She claims to be Itt... But I don't know that the fuck is happening here and I'm pretty much 1000% done with all of this."
"Do you know how ridiculous that sounds."?
"So...you're one of the fairy weapons?" Asked the princess completely breaking the mood with her peaceful tone.
"I am... I'm the great sword Itt..." Said Itt.
"Uh... Princess?" Asked twilight.
"Don't worry twilight... Your friend isn't lying... Though I can understand why he might be a bit angry... He's just confused, these sorts of things don't happen too often... In fact, she may be the first fairy weapon to emerge for thousands of years." She said. "I can explain everything inside... But we should get this poor girl some clothes first."
"Aww... Do I have to put on clothes?" She asked.
"Yes!" I exclaimed without hesitation.
"Okay..." She said. She lifted her fingers and snapped the. And a sudden white light covered her body and she was suddenly dressed in clothing. She didn't wear much though. She wore ribbons... That's it. They covered her breasts and worked around her waist like a skirt. It was like she wore gauze, and she had a cape with a hood that she kept down. Her cape and bandages that she wore were white, but there was a symbol on the back of her cape, and it scared me to see that it was the same symbol that suddenly appeared on my back a while back. She didn't wear much, not even shoes... But she did have this strange collar on and metal handcuffs that were thick, like she was some kind of slave. "Is this better?" She asked.
"Oh my..." Said twilight.
"Zachary...?" Asked the princess looking over to me. I quickly shot my attention over to her and listened. "May we please enter your apartment?"
"Uh, yes of course... Please go on in." I said opening the door and gesturing for them to enter. They all walked in except for Itt who stood there smiling and looking at me. "That means you too..." I said.
"Oh... Sorry." She said then hurried inside. I kept the door open and then took a deep breath and let out the deepest sigh on my life. I walked in and closed the door on my way in and walked into the living room where the others were. When I got in twilight was sitting down on the couch and the princess was looking around. Itt had sat down on the floor comfortable by the entrance and smiled when I walked in.
"My... It's very cozy in here..." Said the princess looking around the room and getting a feel for it.
"Well it certainly isn't a castle..." I said.
"No... It's not, but those big empty halls can seem so hallow and lonely sometimes... I like a change of venue sometimes... It's a nice change from the norm of my life." She said. "I'm sure you must know how hard it is to fill the halls and rooms of a castle."
"Ahh... You live In a castle!" Said Itt getting excited and getting up and walking over. "You must be a princess then!"
"Actually I am a princess..." Said the princess giggling slightly.
"Wow...master you have a princess in your dirty living room..." Said Itt making sure to point out the fact that my whole apartment was a huge dump...
"Yeah... I realized... Thanks." I said sarcastically though she didn't seem to sense the sarcasm... She was very ditzy, but there was something about her, like she still knew what she was doing.
"So... Itt... How long have you been dormant?"asked the princess.
"Almost four thousand years... I've been sleeping in the ether forest." She said.
"Princess... What is she?" Asked twilight.
"She's a fairy sword... She's a sword... And a fairy... A fairy that can turn into a sword." She said. "It's an ancient magic that was used by an ancient race long ago to create the most powerful weapons in existence. There aren't many in circulation anymore. This is very rare indeed."
"So what does that mean for me?" I asked.
"Well... Take it as a compliment..." She said. "not only were you lucky enough to be gifted a kind and stable blade... But the fact that you've been blessed by one is a whole other miracle on its own... You might come from some Nobel heritage."
"Yeah... I don't think that's it." I said.
"You never know... The world is a strange and magical one... Many things can happen."
"So... What now?" I asked. "What do I do with her?"
"Well... I can't tell to what to do..." Said the princess. "Once a sword has chosen its master they will spend the rest of their lives by their master's side." She said. "Though, seeing how fairies cannot age or become I'll, they almost always outlast their masters unless they are killed in battle... Once the master dies they will fulfill a last wish to their masters, whether it be that they serve in the family name forever, or if they are set free... If there is no final wish then the sword returns to rest for another couple thousand years before choosing another master."
"Wait... Set free... Is she a slave or something?" Asked twilight.
"Us weapons must choose a master within five thousand years, though the choice is ours, we must obey everything our masters tell us to do." Said Itt. "Most times masters don't set us free; they pass us down to somebody else... If my master where to say that he wishes for another man to be my master, then I would follow that other man as his own sword..." She said.
"That's horrible..." Said twilight. "Zack... You should free her!"
"It's not that simple..." Said Itt. "Free... Doesn't really mean that we're free to do what we want... It means that we're free to roam the earth... But after five thousand years, we'll have to pick another master... And the cycle repeats... We can't ever be without masters... And I can't be set free unless it's my masters dying wish... Him telling me to be free would be meaningless since that now I've chosen and branded him, I have to stay by his side for the rest of his life.
"Wait... Branded?" Asked twilight.
"Yes... See." Said Itt grabbing me and spinning me around and the. Ripping my shirt off to show the markings on my back. The whole thing took me completely by surprise and I just froze.
"What the?" Said twilight. "Zack... Why didn't you show me this?"
"C'mon... It randomly appeared on me one day and you expect me to just tell you that... Do you even understand how ridiculous this all is...? I didn't do anything, never did anything special... Why the hell is this happening to me?"
"Don't ask us... Ask her." Said the princess to which we all looked over at her.
"Well... I chose Zack... Because I like him." She said.
"BECAUSE YOU LIKE ME!" I shouted. "THATS ALL!"
"Well... I also think that everybody deserves a second chance... And I wanted to give you a second chance."
"A second chance?"
"Itt has incredible power... She has the capability of taking down the mightiest of foes... Despite what others say, this world is still full of adventures that can be had... Many lands are unclaimed and have been taken over by wild magic's; the ever free forest is a keen example... And no doubt you've heard about the dragon in the hydra plains... There's also much treasure and priceless things to be found out there... When the old kingdom collapsed thousands of years ago it took with it many magical items and treasures..." Said the princess. "Many people still seek that kind of thrill... But there are few enough who are skilled enough... You all know them as heroes and adventurers... You could even join a guild to help you get started..."
"Are you suggesting that I just... Drop everything and become an adventurer?" I said. "Do you know how ridiculous that is...? I don't know how to survive out there and fight fucking dragons and shit... I'm just a guy..."
"I'm going to have to agree with Zack on this one princess..." Said twilight.
"I'm not saying that he should...I'm only suggesting." Said the princess. "Life isn't always boring... Maybe it's time to start living a little Zachary miles..." She said. Everything was silent for a few seconds as we all stood there in awkward silence. "Well... I think my business is done here... Thank you Mr. Miles for having me over, I hope I wasn't too much trouble... But I must be heading back to Canterlot now, there are many things that I must attend to, if you have any more questions, please don't hesitate to come and see me, any friend of twilights is a friend of mine."
"Thank you princess... I knew you would be able to help with this..." Said twilight.
"Worry not my star pupil... I'll always be there... Until the next time twilight sparkle, stay vigilant." She said as she raised her horn and the room started flooding with light, and once the bright shining light was all gone, so was she.
"D-did I just make friends with the princess...?" I asked.
"Sounds that way to me." Said Itt.
"Uh... Zack... Are you going to be okay?" Asked twilight.
"Oh no... Is master sick, if you don't feel well I can nurse you back to health..." Said Itt getting very worried suddenly.
"No... Uh, I'm fine... Physically... I just... Need to rest." I said.
"I suppose having a magic sword that's also a woman must be kinda strange..."
"It's not that... I just... Have no idea what to do now." I said. "It's not like I can just try and hide her in my closet forever..."
"Is master confused...? I'm sorry that I've caused you this trouble... If master wishes, he may punish me." She said feeling rather guilty.
"What... No... I'm not punishing you, and stop calling me master." I said.
"But I'm supposed to take orders from a master." She said.
"Well then I order you to call me Zack instead of master... How about that." I said in a rather upset voice.
"Okay ma-... I mean, Zack." She said.
"Hey, don't get mad at her, it's not her fault." Said twilight.
"It is her fault... Did you not hear anything that we just talked about?" I asked. "She was the one who chose me... I didn't do anything... It was all her decision... Not mine, not anybody else's... It's ALL her fault." I said. "Ugh... I need to be alone... Can you just... Please go twilight... I'll, call you or something when I finally clear my head."
"Fine... I'll go... Just... Try and lighten up a little, you know." She said. "This isn't really a bad thing... I think that she could be a really good friend." Said twilight as she walked away and eventually left. So then it was just me and Itt sitting there in my living room. Everything was quiet and the awkwardness in the air was palpable. The. Itt walked over and sat down on the couch next to me.
"Is master...? Uh, I mean... Zack...okay...would it be better if I left?" She asked.
"No it's fine... I just... Need a moment to clear my head; this is all just a lot to take in."
"I'm sorry... Is there any way I can make you feel any better..." She Said. "Since you're my master you can ask me to do anything?" She said. "I'll cook and clean for you... I can... Even fulfill your sexual fantasies..." She said pushing her breasts up against my arm and causing me to tense up a bit more.
"Please don't..." I said. "Just... Give me a second..." I said. I stood up and took in a deep breath. "Okay... First things first... Can you prove to me that you are actually a sword?" I said. "I think I'd feel better if I saw it for myself."
"Whatever you wish master." She said smiling and standing up. She clasped her hands together and started to glow brightly as a wind began staring up in the room. Her form changed, and once the light faded she had changed into the sword I saw the other night. She stood there balancing on just the tip of the blade. I walked over and grabbed the hilt and picked up the blade. It was a very impressive looking sword, but I noticed that now it was sheathed, maybe because she was wearing clothes now or something. The sheath was a iron clad, leather sheath with golden ornamented details etched into the metal work and leather. And a strap. I grabbed the hilt and unsheathed the sword and it was the same black and bright blade form before. Then suddenly I heard a voice in my head.
"Since we are linked I can still talk to you through our thoughts..." She said. "So don't be alarmed..."
"Uhm... Okay..." I said aloud.
"You can just speak to me through your thoughts, but only while I'm in my sword form." She said.
"This is kinda neat..." I thought.
"Would you like to go somewhere and practice?" She asked.
"Sure... I suppose." I said.
"I'll stay like this, and you lead the way master..." She said.
"Okay then..." I thought. This was a good time to finally go into the Forrest and cut stuff up like I planned yesterday. So I got dressed and put a new shirt on and my sweater since it was a bit cold today. I put the sheath over my back and the leather strap ran over the front of my chest, and the sword stayed to my back. I then walked over to my door and walked outside and locked the door behind me. As I walked out I took a deep breath of the air. It wasn't very cold outside, but I normally like to wear my sweater regardless, as long as it's not wicked fucking hot outside. So I started to make my way down the stairs and through the town streets which were busy this time of day, even in south ponyville.
Just as I could have thought, people gave me strange stares, a bit stranger than normal, probably because now I had a sword strapped to my back, a big ass sword at that. I kept making my way through the city and it wasn't too long before I made it to the north end of ponyville, in rather familiar territory. I kept making my way through town when I ended up walking past sugar cube corner whichever as secreting a heavy aroma of pastries.
"Ooh... That smells so yummy... Can we please get some once we're done?" Said Itt speaking in my head.
"That's an odd way to talk to somebody who's your master..." I said in my thoughts.
"Sorry master..."she said seeming rather disappointed and sad. I laughed a little and cheered her up.
"I'm just kidding... I just thought it was funny you forgot about the whole master situation... But I kinda forgot too." I said. "Don't worry... Once we're done we can get some food, I'll treat you to some food, and I mean it's been thousands of years that you've been asleep... You must be hungry." I thought to myself.
"I am... But I can wait... We should go quickly..." She said.
"Yeah... Sure..." I said in my mind. "We're almost there; the edge of town isn't too far from here."
"HELP HELP!" Shouted a voice that seemed to catch the attention of everypony within the block including me. I went to go see who was screaming for help and it was some little colt running through the streets. She started running then I saw his eyes lock on me and he rushed over. "Mister... Please, your an adventurer... Right... You have to help her please..." He said really quickly.
"Whoa... What's wrong...?" I asked.
"There's no time hurry please!" He said grabbing my sweater with his teeth and trying to pull me. I moved forward and he started running down the street and I sprinted after him.
"Wait kid... What's wrong?" I asked even though I didn't tell him I. Was an adventurer. He didn't answer but he seemed like he had just seen somebody get killed so I couldn't just ignore the kid, so I followed him. He lead me down the path I was already going and soon the ever free forest was in sight, and as we approached it there was as cream that came from in the woods... It sounded like a deathly screams too, a young girl's voice.
"Zack... Somebody is in trouble... You have to help them." Said Itt taking in my head. "HURRY RUN!" She shouted at me. So I picked up my cantering pace to a full on sprint right into the thick brush of the forest and broke past a few ferns and thorn bushes. I followed the sound of the screams and soon I saw something past a couple trees. I broke through and emerged into a clearing by a cliff side cave. And to my surprise there was a little filly there backed into a corner by a big ass snake... I mean, this thing was giant... Bigger than me.
"Oh what the..."I said. It wasn't long before the girl noticed me and screamed for help, which caused the snakes view to change over to me as it slithered away from the girl and over to me. I was shaking; I've never fought a monster before... What do I do? The only thing I could think to do was stand there and pray.
"What are you doing...? Fight it." Said Itt.
"I don't know how to fucking fight..." I said aloud in my head. I almost said it aloud in front of the girl.
"Just grab my hilt, trust me..." She said. I took a deep breath and reached back and grabbed the hilt. I clasped it in one hand and suddenly everything seemed to stop, like time itself just...froze as I pulled the blade out of its sheath and held it with both hands. I felt my whole body starting to relax and it was like I all of a sudden knew how to fight. The snake with its huge fangs and glimmering red scales suddenly started to move once again and time caught back up. And in to split second it lunged at me so I dodged to the right and rolled across the ground and then planted my feet in the dirt before pushing off and lunging at the giant snake. I held the sword up high and plunged it deep into the skull of the great snake beast and it started to writhe in pain and agony and in one last lash of fury it tossed me from its head towards a tree. I was able to spin in the air and plant my feet on the tree. I pushed of and launched through the air. I cut right through the air like a scythe and right through the neck of the snake.
I landed on the ground and the body of the snake quivered before the head fell to the ground with a large thump and the body became limp and died as well. I stood there and everything seemed to settle down now, I felt my heart pumping and I put Itt back in her sheath. The second I took my hands off her I collapsed, like I was just suddenly out of energy... No, more like it had all just been taken from me in an instant. I took a moment to catch my breath and felt my energy return slowly, enough that I could get up and move now. So I got up and walked over to the little filly on the ground who was hurt from what I could tell.
"Are you okay... Are you hurt?" I asked kneeling down next to her. She just shook her head yes and looked at me with big eyes. The fear in her eyes was still real; I need to get her out of here. "Where does it hurt?" I asked.
"M...my leg, I think I sprained it..." She said holding out her leg which was severely injured. It was red and inflated, and a bit bloody from a couple deep cuts. It was much more than just sprained; it was cut up and broken.
"Alright... You're going to be fine... The monster is gone, and we're going to get you home to your mom and then to a hospital where they're going to make you all better..." I said trying to keep her spirits up.
"Thank you..." She said innocently. I reached down and picked her up, making especially sure to keep my hands off her broken leg. I was able to pick her up and cradle her without causing her any pain.
"Your doing well... Just find her parents and then you've officially completed your first quest..." Said Itt.
"Quest...? What the hell, this isn't some video game!" I thought back.
"Video what?" She said. "You accepted that boy's plea for help... So you've accepted a quest... But this Is just an accidental one." She said. "Still... This is good experience."
"Whatever..." I thought as I picked up the filly and started rushing my way out of the woods. I tried to make sure that I caused her as little pain as possible and I did a pretty good job. I managed to carry her all the way out of the forest and at this time the commotion from the kid from before had caused a crowd to form around the edge of the forest. So when I walked out I was somewhat expected.
"See... I told you somebody went in after her..." Said the kid who had popped out of the crowd.
"Oh... My little girl..." Shouted somebody who then burst from the crowd. A mare with light brown fur and blonde hair had rushed over. She looked like the mother. She rushed over and had tears in her eyes. "Oh thank god you're safe... Thank you so much." She said with tears in her eyes.
"Uh... Yeah no problem." I said not really knowing what to say. "H-her leg..." I said.
"What?" She asked.
"Her leg is broken... She needs to get to a hospital soon so it doesn't worsen or get infected..." I said.
"Okay... C'mon baby, your safe now, it's alright..." She said as her daughter clung to her mother tightly. The other ponies and people just looked over to me with some respect and they smiled a bit, but then they dispersed because apparently saving a little girl isn't much, but then again, nobody really likes me in this town.
"Thanks mister..." Said the little colt from before tugging at my leg to get my attention. "If it weren't for you my sister wouldn't have made it..."
"Hey, uh... No problem kid... But what were you doing in the forest... You know it's dangerous."
" pay sister saw a rabbit and went chasing after it... I tried to stop her... But she's young... So she doesn't know much better." He said. "But thanks to you she's safe... You're a hero...right? One of those people who go out treasure hunting and fighting monsters and stuff!" He said getting excited.
"Well... No, I'm not..." I said. "I uh... I'm not an adventurer... Just a guy with a sword." I said. "Though... Seeing how I helped that girl... I think I might become one." I said thinking about it.
"Wow... So you've never fought a monster before!" He said. "I bet you're going to be a great adventurer..."
"Thanks kid... And make sure you and your sister keep out of trouble...okay?" I asked.
"Yessir..." Said the kid happily as he then trotted away. Seeing that kid praise me and be so happy actually made me happy.
"You have to admit... It's was kinda fun." Said Itt speaking in my head. "Go back to the forest for a minute..."
"alright... But after we need to talk..." I said walking back into the forest. I pushed my way past all the bushes and stuff and made my way back to the clearing where the corpse of the snake laid bleeding over the ground. I took Itt off my back and placed her down and she started glowing and soon turned back into a human...well, fairy. She looked at me as the light faded and she smiled. Then she snapped her fingers and two vials popped into her hand. "What are you doing?" I asked. As she walked over to the snakes corpse.
"You should claim a reward for your first kill... Plus a memento so that you always remember this day." She said as she drained some of the blood into one of the vials. "King cobra blood makes for a universal anti venom and antidote, capable of curing any poison." She said. The. She walked to the head of the cobra and started siphoning a clear like liquid from its fangs into the other vial. "And king cobra venom, very potent, capable of dissolving organic material on contact and it kills in seconds." She said. The. She grabbed the tooth of the cobra and ripped it right from its head. "And this is your memento." She said.
"Wait... Hold on, first of all... What just happened how is it I just killed this cobra... I don't know how to fight, but when I grabbed you I... Just knew how...like I've always had known."
"That's because while we are weapons, each fairy gives their master a fairy blessing..." She said. "Each one is different..."
"Okay... So what's yours?" I asked.
"The fairy blessing I gave you was the blessing of the grand knight." She said. "It allows you to become a master of any weapon you touch, whether it is a small dagger, to the mightiest axe... Even modern firearms that humans often use."
"So I could pick up any weapon and just instantly be able to use it... Like I've always known how to use it...?" I asked.
"Yep... It's that simple, so long as I'm around..." She said.
"That's... Amazing." I said. "Is there anything else I should know?"
"Nothing important... Here, your rewards." She said handing me the two vials and the snake fang fangs which she magically fashioned into a necklace. I unzipped my hoodie and put on the necklace. The snakes whole from row of teeth had been fashioned into a necklace. I had to admit that it did look pretty cool. The more I keep thinking about it the more I think that maybe this is the kind of life I could start getting into... But I, still not sure, but there is one last thing I have to do.
"I almost forgot..." I said. "I promised to buy you some sweets at sugarcube corner." I said to which Itt got very happy and clapped her hands softly.
"Yay... Thank you master..." She said.
"Please just... Call me Zack... Especially in public." I said. "If you call me master people are going to get some bad impressions."
"I'm sorry... It's just a force of habit... I've been calling humans my master for hundreds of thousands of years... Not one has ever wanted me not to before." She said.
"Well... I'm not comfortable with the whole, master, slave situation thing, and I'd like to pretend that it doesn't exist... I think it would be better if we were just... Let's see... Partners, how's about that?" I asked. "A sword and her wielded."
"That sounds nice... Now let's go get some food." She said. I just laughed and rolled my eyes and we made course way into the town. Now, if I thought the stares I got were strange... Holy sweet damn you should have seen people's faces when they saw Itt. Guys were pretty much sexing her up with their eyes. It's the first time I've seen others stare at anybody but myself. And I don't. Blame her, she has a strange hair color, she's got a wicket trim body with a curved ass and large breasts and she's keeping it all covered with just some linen wrappings, though it must imagine the wrappings are somewhat thick.
We made our way through the town and soon enough we got to sugarcube corner. I haven't been in here many times, but whenever I hang out with twilight we go there sometimes, and she tried to get me to be friends with this one really hyperactive pony pinkie pie... But whenever I meet here she's just... Way too much for me to handle. We were lucky enough that she wasn't working there and the cakes were working the kitchen and counter instead. When we got there I let Itt pick whatever she wanted and she ended up ordering a lot of sweets, I ordered a few doughnuts to munch in and we got our food in no time. I sat down and Itt sat down next to me and started eating her food. She took one bite into her blueberry muffin and pretty much exploded with happiness.
"Mmmm... It's so good!" She said loudly with a full mouth which gathered the attention.
"I'm...uh, glad you like it."
"Hello Zack..." Said miss cake walking over to us. She was working in the kitchen but she's between batches now probably. We've begun to get somewhat friendly with each other... She comes over to talk to me and twilight when we're here. "Who's your uh... Lady friend here?" She asked.
"Hello... I'm Itt... Nice to meet you." Itt said smiling and waving.
"I'm sorry dear... What was your name again?"
"Itt..."
"It?"
"Itt... With two T's." I added clearing any suspicion
"Oh... Itt... That's a rather strange name for a girl... But I'm no one to question... I'm glad you're enjoying the food... Make sure to say hello to twilight for me the next time you see her Zack..." Miss cake said.
"Sure thing..." I said waving as she walked back to the kitchen.
"She was nice..." Said Itt with a mouth full of food.
"Yeah... She is." I said smiling and laughing at Itt. She was really ditzy... But it kinda fits her personality... She seems so innocent, hard to believe that she's an immortal fairy sword that's been cutting down monsters and other things for hundreds of thousands of years. I didn't take too long for her to finish eating all of her food and she just laid back and smiled.
"That was so yummy..." She said patting her stomach.
"Glad you liked it... So... I guess we should head back now... It's almost five." I said checking my watch. "It's getting late; I guess we should call it a day."
"Yeah... I'm tired." She said yawning and stretching her arms. So we both got up and started making our way back home. I've spent the whole day with her, but it felt weird that she was going to come home with me tonight and spend the night with me, and probably every night after this one. So we made our way back until we finally got to my apartment. I unlocked the door and let Itt inside. She walked in and I followed after her. I relocated the door and turned on the lights. Itt had already made herself comfortable on the couch as she lay down and sighed. "So what do we do tomorrow?"
"Oh that's right... I forgot... I've got work tomorrow." I said.
"Work... So you have a job... That's boring." She said. "Where do you work."?
"I work at a farm called sweet apple acres with a friend of mine."
"You should quit your job and just adventure..." She said.
"I'm still not sure if I want to do that." I said.
"Why not?" She asked. "You have the grand knights blessing... You could fight any enemy you come across." She said. "C'mon... This is the kind of opportunity that most people dream about.
"I'm sure it is but I don't know if I want to lead that kind of life... Though, it is very tempting... I'm going to have to think about it." I said.
"Well... I'll be here; I can't go anywhere else, as long as you're happy... I'm happy." She said.
"So... Have you had other masters before me?" I asked
"Yes... Most of them treated me like they would most fairy weapons." She said. "They just told me to do stuff and used me as their sexual play thing then cut down monsters with me." She said.
"Sexual play thing... That's so bad... How can you just deal with that?" I asked.
"It's okay... I've still kept my virginity all these years." She said.
"Wait... You had sex... But you're still a virgin..." I said.
"Yes..." She said.
"And this makes sense...how?"
"In my culture somebody looses their virginity only once they've slept with the one person that they truly love." She said. "Once a fairy weapon falls in love with another man she gives him her virginity, which in turn turns the man into a fairy guardian capable of catastrophic power. The bonds of fairy love are very strong... But the rest of that stuff is just meaningless sex..."
"I can't believe what I'm hearing..." I said.
"I'm sorry... I'll stop talking about it." She said. "Though... You're different from my other masters." She said.
"How so?"
"Well... You're the first one that hasn't tried to have sex with me yet." She said. "And you don't order me around... I actually feel like I'm the one being treated like a master, after you bought me all that food... It's... Different, it feels nice."
"I don't know much about being a master... And I don't want to... I'm not going to be your master, okay... Just... Remember that." I said. Waking over to my bedroom door and opening it. "Now... I'm getting kinda tired, and I'm going to go to bed..." I said.
"Where should I sleep?" She asked.
"I've uh... Got a roll out futon in my closet... Though it will take a bit of time to get out." I said then letting out a deep yawn.
"I don't want to trouble you any more than I have today... I'm sorry that this day has been especially strange for you... I can already see the bags under your eyes... I'll just sleep here..." She said gesturing to the couch.
"No... That couch will leave a really bad crick I your neck..." I said. "It's fine... I'll get the futon out." I said walking into the bedroom and making my way to the closet. I opened it up as Itt walked in and watched me. I pulled it out and rolled it across the floor and then pulled out some sheets and a blanket and a spare pillow and I just tossed them on the futon. "There... I hope you don't mind fixing your own bed do you?" I asked.
"I don't mind... I'll get right to it..." She said walking over and making the futon look neat which didn't take her much time. In the meantime I grabbed a drink of water in the kitchen and a pair of pajama pants and changed in the bathroom. I usually sleep naked...but... Yeah. I just slept with some pants on and no shirt, which was fine. When I got back into bedroom Itt had already made her bed looks nice and neat. I had laced the necklace she made me and the two vials on my wardrobe and walked over to my bed.
"Alright... I, going to bed." I said.
"As will I..." She said standing up on her futon. I lay back on my mattress and pulled the covers over me. I closed my eyes for a few seconds and when I opened them again Itt was still standing on her futon... Although this time she was ass naked. I quickly covered my eyes and turned around.
"Oh Jesus... Why are you naked again?" I asked.
"I can't sleep without being naked..." She said. "I apologize..." She said.
"It's fine... Just... Go to bed." I said turning off the lights in the room and lying in my bed. I turned around and closed my eyes and I could hear Itt crawling into her bed. Everything was silent for a while and I managed to close my eyes and start drifting off to sleep. I drifted off to sleep and started dreaming, though I can't really remember what I was dreaming. It was probably something strange, something amazing or odd.
But I do remember that Itt was in my dream...
Authors Note:...So...That just happened. most of you people are probably thinking 'what the fuck?', and others probably saw that one coming... to some extent. so nobody really seemed to mind the whole sword thing, but this part was kinda... well... i think you know what i mean. im going to wait another day before i splurge out and post the other like...six or seven chapters that ive already written, just to see if you guys enjoy the way this story is progressing. this is kinda going to be one of those action like stories... im not going to lie, after what ive written, that's how it progresses... but im trying to make it more...romantic. so... let me know in the reviews section if you guys like it or not or just send me a message. i do hope that you guys enjoy the way the story is turning out and i'll see you guys next time.
