Hello! I haven't updated in a while, because this is a long chapter for you ;) Hope you enjoy! Disclaimer: I don't own OHSHC, or anything like that. Just Kitsune!
The next day, we were at the club again to entertain the guests. I played music, while all the guys were entertaining the girls. Unlike other days, I decided to wear jeans and a regular t-shirt. I wore my sneakers that were sea green with blue laces.
After I played a few songs, Derek walked up to me. "I guess you're my next appointment," I said.
"Yup," answered Derek smiling.
We walked to one of the tables where there was a lot of cake. I grabbed a small piece of vanilla cake, since I don't really like sweets all that much. They're good every now and then, but not all the time. Derek got a big piece of chocolate cake, and bit into it.
"Not much of a sweet eater huh?" asked Derek.
"Once in a while," I answered.
After talking with Derek for a while, the bell rang as a signal to go home. I said goodbye to Derek, grabbed my bookbag, and met up with Tamaki.
"Ready to go?" I asked once he was done with one of his guests.
"Yeah," he said smiling, "Let's go."
Tamaki and I walked outside to where the limo was there to pick us up. Tamaki opened the door for me, and I got in then he sat down next to me. The entire ride, I was thinking about the previous day's events. Things like how Hikaru was alone and not with Kaoru, and about how Derek said Aoi felt guilty about what happened.
"Hey Kit," said Tamaki, ripping me out of my thoughts.
"Huh?" I asked surprised, "What is it?"
"Why are you spacing out like that? It's not like you."
"Oh, sorry," I said sheepishly, "I was just thinking about yesterday."
Tamaki got a playful evil smirk on his face. "Are you upset that no one wanted you to kiss them on the cheek?"
"W-what?!" I asked blushing, "N-no! Why would you even think that?!"
"I'm just kidding," he said, "But I think that was a great reaction from you."
"You're one to talk," I said, thinking about all the emotions he shows off in the clubroom.
We got back to the mansion in no time at all. I grabbed my bag and walked into the mansion, to my room with Tamaki.
I was laying on my bed with black and grey pleated pajama pants and black t-shirt. I had a book in my hands and I was reading it. I was getting to a really good part, when I heard my phone ring. It was Hikaru.
"What's up?" I asked.
"Tomorrow Kaoru and I are gonna pull a prank on everyone. We're gonna ask Haruhi if we can come over. Knowing she'll say no, we're gonna have a fake fight."
"Ok, why are you telling me?"
"I thought it would be a good idea for you to be in on it too."
I smiled and in a scareingly calm voice, I said, "I think that's a great idea."
"Yes!" said Hikaru ecstatic, "I'll see you tomorrow! And remember, when we start fighting, you join in on it!"
"See ya."
I closed my phone, ending the call with Hikaru. I smiled to myself, imagining what everyone's reaction to this would be. I opened my book and kept reading. When I was about halfway through the next one in the series, I saw it was 11:00.
"Crap," I muttered, "I have it get up early tomorrow."
I put my book down and went to sleep.
The next day, I put on a black tank top, black shorts, and some black high top converse shoes with white laces. I brushed my hair and left it like that so it ended around the middle of my back, like it always does when it is down.
I walked out of the room with my book and sketchbook inside my bookbag. I met up with Tamaki and we got in the limo. The entire ride, I was thinking about how the twins and I were going to act like they were fighting.
We were at school in a few minutes. I was walking towards my class, but someone grabbed me and pulled me into another hallway. It was Hikaru who pulled me in, and Kaoru was deeper in the hallway.
"So you're gonna act like you're really pissed off at Hikaru when we start fighting," said Kaoru.
I smiled. "Shouldn't be too hard," I said winking at them. There was a slight blush on both of the twins, especially Hikaru.
"Too further the image of the fight," said Kaoru, "Hikaru's gonna come over to your house tonight."
Both Hikaru and I cocked our heads in confusion. "Wouldn't I be mad at him though?" I asked.
"Don't stress the details," said Kaoru, "Just go with it; it adds to the fight." Both Hikaru and I shrugged, and we all went to class.
After our classes were over, Hikaru, Kaoru, Haruhi, and I went to the clubroom. We all started entertaining guests.
Tamaki found a picture on the club's website of Haruhi seemingly with her shirt off looking over her shoulder. The twins then told Tamaki that it was photoshopped. Haruhi asked them what they thought she was, and the twins said she was their toy. Nekozowa showed up talking about his curse dolls, and Tamaki freaked out.
A while after that, the twins decided they were bored and sat by the window. Then they said, "Hey Haruhi, next time we get a day off, can we come over to your place?"
"No way," she answered.
"Oh come on; pretty please?"
"No way in hell."
"Then how about we play a game?" asked Hikaru. It's going according to plan, I thought.
"You try to guess which one of us is Hikaru, and if you get it wrong, then you have to let us come over," said Kaoru. Haruhi sighed and agreed to their game.
Hikaru and Kaoru put matching hats on and switched places over and over again, so no one could tell who was who. But I knew. Hikaru was on the right, and Kaoru was on the left, and this is exactly what Haruhi said.
The twins said she was wrong to try and mess her up. "No," I said, "Haruhi's right." Haruhi then went on to say that the twins were same but different. She said that Hikaru was more mischeivous, and Kaoru was more mature. Kaoru laughed at Hikaru, while Hikaru then went on to make fun of Kaoru.
"You're so dense!" said Kaoru, "You can't even tell that you love Kit!"
Hikaru and I blushed. "W-what?!" we both asked. Kaoru smirked.
"Well that's why you kissed her when we went to the beach, right?"
I remembered the conversation Hikaru and I had at my house; how he did it just to make me feel better.
"T-that's not why…" I said softly, not even thinking that Kaoru would bring that up, "It was because of something else…"
No one noticed what I said, and Hikaru looked at me with sad eyes. It was only for a second though, because of the act and his nature. Both of the twins kept fighting, and then they yelled, "That's it! We're over!"
The twins kept arguing, and Hikaru said, "I'm sick and tired of you coming into my bed at night Kaoru! I'm going over to Kit's tonight!"
Everyone gasped, including me, but I did a very convincing fake one. I pretended something inside me snapped.
"And who decided that?!" I asked angrily, "Why are you fighting over something so stupid in the first place?!"
Hikaru walked up to me. "Please Kitty," he said in a fake distressed tone, "I can't take this anymore! I can't be with Kaoru, you don't understand how annoying it can be!"
I sighed. "Fine," I said in an angry-calm voice, "But just because you're begging me."
Hikaru gave a sigh of relief. We entertained guests for more time, and then Hikaru, Tamaki, and I went back home.
When we were back home, Hikaru grabbed my hand, and dragged me to the closest closet. He closed the door, and we were surrounded in darkness. I shuddered, my nyctophobia kicking in.
"W-why'd you drag me in here?" I asked, scared, "You know I'm scared of the dark!"
"That's exactly why I brought you in here," he said, "To help you get over your fear. After dinner, we'll sleep here, and if you don't run out because you're scared, then there's no reason to be scared of the dark anymore."
"Ok," I said slowly and after a long pause of hesitation.
Hikaru smiled cutely. "Great!" he said. He then opened the door, and we walked out of the closet.
After dinner, Hikaru and I changed into our pajamas, and headed into the closet. I was wearing pajamas similar to the day before, except that they were dark purple. Hikaru was just wearing a white t-shirt and blue pajama pants.
We slept in the closet, and I stopped freaking out after a while. I fell asleep not thinking about the dark.
The next day, Hikaru woke up early, and opened the door to the closet, waking me up. I looked at my watch, and saw that it was very early in the morning. I fell asleep again in no time at all. I guess I was never truly scared of the dark, I thought as I fell asleep again.
The next time I woke up, it was actually time to get ready for school. I went into my room, and put on a dark gray long sleeved shirt, black cargo pants, and black vans. I brushed my hair, and my curls cascaded down to the middle of my back.
I walked out of my room, and the person I met outside was no other than Hikaru. His hair was dyed pink, and I mentally facepalmed.
"I didn't know this was part of the fight," I muttered.
"I don't want to be mistaken for Kaoru," he said. I sighed.
"Oh well," I said, "Let's just meet Tamaki outside to go to school."
Hikaru and I headed outside and went to school with Tamaki.
We got to Ouran Academy and Hikaru and I walked to our classroom.
"Good morning," said Hikaru.
"Morning Haruhi," I said.
"Hikaru," she said, "Why'd you dye your hair pink?"
"It suits me, don't you think?" he answered, "I just didn't want to be mistaken for Kaoru anymore." I sighed along with Haruhi. She couldn't believe Hikaru did that, and I never would have imagined he would dye his hair pink of all colors. I thought he liked blue.
"Good morning Haruhi," said Kaoru. He had his hair dyed blue. Guess I know why Hikaru didn't dye his hair blue, I thought, Kaoru beat him to it.
"I was finally able to sleep all by myself last night," said Kaoru, "But I had a nightmare that my stylist dyed my hair pink. It was so garish and revolting that I woke up screaming."
Hikaru tripped him, and Kaoru then tripped Hikaru. Haruhi and I sighed.
Morning classes were soon over, and the bell for lunch rang. I followed the twins, who were still bickering and went to the dinning hall.
The twins ordered their food angrily, and in sync. They both ended up getting stuff they don't like, so Hikaru traded his lunch, for Haruhi's boxed lunch. I brought a lunch I made as well, and I started to eat it, when Hikaru and Kaoru started a food fight between each other.
"You know what?" I shouted, "I'm done! I'm sick and tired of you two fighting! I'm not talking to either of you until you make up!"
I grabbed my lunch, and stormed back up to the classroom. Before I was out the door, Kyoya put his hand on my shoulder.
"You're a very good actress Kitsune," he said.
"I don't act," I said in a 'bad mood', "And I told you guys to call me Kit."
"My bad," he said, taking his hand off and letting me go to my classroom.
How did he know about that? I asked myself, Well, it is Kyoya. He can pretty much tell when something is wrong. Am I really a good actress?
I ate my lunch alone, keeping to my thoughts.
The Host Club was closed. I was sitting in a corner, pretending to be mad at the twins, while they were throwing things around.
"If this keeps up," said Kyoya, "We're going to have to stop offering our brotherly love package. We're one pair of loving brothers short."
Kaoru showed off a Belzenef doll he bought. He said he was going to write Hikaru's name on it and curse him.
Haruhi then hit them both on the head, and yelled at them. "What's wrong with you two?! You don't bring something like this into a petty fight! If you two don't make up right now, I'll never let you come over to my house!"
The twins grinned and got up. "So what you're saying is…if we make up, we can come over to your place?"
Haruhi turned the doll around and saw that it was blank.
I started laughing, and everyone looked at me. The twins acted surprised, but they soon started laughing as well. I got up, walked over to them, and we all high-fived.
The rest of the Hosts looked at us with surprised expressions, except for Kyoya and Mori, who never show any emotion. Tamaki ended up with saying, "Twins with too much time on their hands, are the Devil."
I hope you enjoyed this chapter! I'm gonna do a few chapters based on the actual episodes, but most of the time, it'll be my own ideas. See you next time!
