"Trick, what do you mean he has me?" Bo repeated, this time she found her way to the table, leant against it like everyone seemed to do around here and held her head.

"Bo." He said in a reassuring voice, that to Bo was not at all reassuring, just hiding the truth. Bo smiled and let out a strained laugh.

"I mean I should have guessed it is always about me." Bo said.

"Listen originally it wasn't about you, but now it is."

"Wait I thought you knew nothing about this, how are you knowing all of this?" Bo asked, staring at his face, analysing his movements, expressions, thoughts. Bo was searching her head, trying to figure this out for herself.

"Kenzi." He stated with a tone of obviousness in his voice, but not patronisingly so. "Kenzi apparently over heard Tamsin crying to herself-" Bo was saddened immediately at this but let him continue. "-about how she would betray the one she loves for Him. Kenzi said she was 'defo'-" He used his fingers to signify Kenzi own words. "'talking about the Odz man'. But she also said He needed Tamsin to get you." Trick looked slightly suspicious. "But whether or not Tamsin said all of this out load is for you to figure out."

"So we don't actually know if he is 'has me'." Bo quizzed. Trick looked at the floor and let out a small high pitched tone which turned into his next words.

"Not exactly, but I have a really bad feeling about this." Trick was serious once more. Bo went back to the high chair and sat down.

"I have to talk to Tamsin." Bo went quiet for a second. "I have kind of been avoiding her." She admitted, Trick looked at her with an amused disappointment.

"Bo, you really don't know how to deal with your own emotional life but you can slay a few lethal foes."

"I can deal with lethal foes, I can deal with guns and shoot outs and running, lots of running-" She gasped in memory of all the running she has ever done. "-but this is new territory. I haven't felt like this before. Trust me to fall for the person who's going to bring this all down."

There was a slight knock at the door.

Bo walked towards it looking to Trick, and opened it carefully. Katarina, a female student from Tamsin's tutor was on the other side smiling at the both of them.

"Can I help you?" Bo asked, Trick walked towards the door.

"Yes I was wondering if Professor McCorrigan had seen Miss Valkirk, only she didn't turn up for our last lesson and I needed to give her some-"

"What?" Bo interrupted. There was a change on Katarina's face that Bo didn't notice, but Katarina was relieved that Bo had fallen for it.

"I need to know where she is?"

"Oh well, I am sure I can help you find her." This was a perfect opportunity! Bo thought. Bo went to her bag and pulled out Tamsin's time table she still had from her first day here, quickly she looked at where she should have been and the area around it and headed out of the door and down the corridor to the stairs. Katarina followed beside her as they walked in the awkward atmosphere that made Bo feel strange. Bo looked to the girl on her right wondering, there was something about her that was off, but intriguing. She knew her also from her Psych class, one of the brightest students. But mainly she knew her form her outrageous behaviour and the fact she could read minds. Although the last bt Bo had forgotten in the few seconds of Tamsin's name being mentioned.

"Have you seen Miss Valkirk at all today after second lesson?" Bo asked to keep conversation going on the walk to the classroom. It was the end of the day and the non-boarders were going home, the school section was now almost deserted a part from detentionee's and lost first years, and the two of them of course. The walls were cherry wood in this area of school, varnished with a sweet scent and it reflected brilliantly the less brilliant energy saving bulbs. The floor echoed their footsteps and Bo's head was held high when students mumbled past them, but other than that her thoughts were swarmed with Tamsin.

"Miss Dennis, how long have you known Miss Valkirk?" Katarina asked, it was a blunt and irrelevant question, it took Bo back a small bit and it was slightly personal so Bo didn't want to say much. "I hope it isn't too personal." Katarina continued, little known to Bo, she was using her power on her.

"Not at all." Bo began, looking slightly awkward. "Since she began here." She stated, it was simple enough, not too personal.

"You didn't meet before then?"

"What's with the questions?" Bo asked a little too defensively, her teacher façade was gone just for a second but she regained it as soon as possible.

"Why so defensive?" Katarina countered. Dull light blue faded from the stained glass windows at the top edge of the wall to their left, they were in the corridor near the courtyard. Their feet kept walking and the silence ensued.

"We met before she started, yes." Bo finished; they rounded a corner and were at the edge of the courtyard. Across which was the block they needed to get to to find Tamsin's class. It was slightly raining and the droplets pattered on the mossy stone that made up the floor. Bounds of water bounced off of the small feature fountain in the centre of the yard, surrounded by small stone benches. The scene had a harry potter feel to it, even though the building was late Victorian in design. They scurried across the yard, the rain growing harder and pelted against them just before they entered the new building. As they did, just as they crossed the border into that part of the block they were smashed backwards by some invisible force. Bo was shot through the air, her arms in front of her, her eyes rolled back, her hair spat around in the rain, dampened. Her front side was burning like someone had poured acid on her. She cried out her eyes closed from shock.

Bo smacked her head against the floor and fell limp. Katarina fell by her side, but she was unconscious, her plump cheek pressed against some wet dirty moss. Her mind ran crazy with possible explanations of what had happened. A bomb blast? Did a bomb go of in school? Who would do that? Bo thought, even her internal voice was desperate. Her breathing became erratic. Bo tried to get up but her arms failed her.

At a push she opened her eyes, just slightly. The cold wet air seared them like bloody steaks frying. Blood shot, she blinked to get the feeling to go. Just like her body they burned with each minutiae movement. What had happened. Her first thought was Katarina; her safety, always protect the student. She was either dead or unconscious, she hoped the later. She laid there looking at the numb face of Katarina who's soft eyes were closed and her clothes were blackened. A cut ran down her face from somewhere. The door was shimmering silver, like she would imagine a force field to look like. The roar that echoed when they were hit was still resonant in the court yard, the vibrations ricocheting in Bo's head.

"Ow!" She sarcastically cried out. No one was around yet the force field thing was still shaking. Behind it she could just see a figure right there staring at them. It seemed to shake about its arms flailing. There was a deep, muffled sound like a voice under the water screaming, at least she thought there was.

Her eyes blinked once more.

Katarina was slowly coming around, the way she fell would mean at least a broken arm. There was a vibration in Bo's jacket pocket, her arm had just enough strength to pull her phone out. When she did she couldn't see, her eyes were sore and hot, blurry and useless. Just as she gave up on looking at the phone a new screen seemed to appear on it, Bo knew this was a phone call and could just make out Kenzi's watery face.

"Kenzi!" Bo cried out.

"What's up Bo Bo! I have to totes cray news to tell you, I heard our girl Tam go major schizo last night-"

"Kenzi help me!" Bo strained to let her be heard over Kenzi's excitement.

"Bo what's wrong you sound hurt!" Kenzi seemed to be moving on the phone, wind was rushing behind her and Bo swore she heard the sound of her Camero being unlocked in the background.

"Kenzi I don't know, call Dyson- ARHHH!" Bo cried, something in her snapped she tried to roll over, her breathing was heavy and her hands were just able to cradle around her ribs. "Get Dyson. I am in the school courtyard...force field...Tamsin...-" Bo's phone died and she could feel her voice fading, blood began to trickle out of her mouth, she could feel it's warm presence on her tongue. The strange salty taste fell from her bottom lip and cascaded to the floor soon to be diluted from the rain still falling on their heads. Bo attempted to get up, she managed to get onto her front, her ribs caning, her heart pumping irregularly.

"Katarina?" Bo asked, touching her shoulder.

There was no response.

That noise she heard earlier on the other side of the force field was back, she tried to turn her neck towards it to look again, but everything she did was painful, a giant shock went through her neck, her eyes widened in horror. Tentatively she moved herself slower to face the shield. Her eyes were clearing up when she blinked now so she tried to look at the door. Katarina still out cold next to her. The rain showered on them. Bo shook her head, blood still dripping from her lip, and now a steady slow stream was coming from her nose.

"Bo!" Tamsin, the form behind the door screamed her name. Bo was shocked, Tamsin was trapped behind there. Bo's arms were pushing through the pain, lifting her body and crawling towards the door and to Katarina.

"Tamsin." Bo's throat was blazing in pain, she coughed blood up but it only made it worse. As she watched Tamsin from the wet floor she carried on crawling, but suddenly another form came out of no where. Scarlet grabbed Tamsin by the throat and took her backwards, but Bo's eyes were still screaming and she didn't know that part of school so she had no idea where she was taken. Hopelessness built up in her, she had never been this unable to move, her whole body was slowly getting better but still was if she hadn't moved in years and her joints were stiff.

Soon Bo began to recover, the rain easing off a little, she managed to get to her knees and hold Katarina up by her shoulders trying to find a strong pulse or something that would indicate that she was alive. She found it, but it was fading. She was just about to drop her and give CPR when Dyson slashed past her wild and angry, he held Bo by her shoulders and stared into her blood shot eyes, his own wolf eyes alert and furious.

"Where is Tamsin?!" He shouted in her face, she was confused and hurt that she didn't think of her first. The blood was stopping now, she spat it on the floor, regaining some of her energy.

"I'm fine thanks for asking." Bo joked, her eyes closing momentarily at the pain in her neck.

"What happened?!" He cried again, checking her vitals, for any cuts or bruises on her body.

"I don't know! We were going through the door and we got blasted back. It could be a bomb or force field or something, I didn't know these things happened in real life!" Bo called in response, there was a lot of confused shouted. Dyson propped her up and propelled himself to the door, wildly sniffing and clinging to the brick edge, getting up close to it.

"It's a force field! I am going to kill that bitch!" Dyson said, he realised Katarina was laying on her side just away from him. He was so consumed in hatred for Tamsin and keeping Bo safe that he didn't even realise she was here.

"One point for team Bo, I know what a force field is." Bo said in response, she managed to get up unsteadily and try to help lift Katarina to safety inside the other building block. They placed her on a stone bench in the entrance to the hall, Dyson streaming air into her lungs form his own and pressing hard on her chest, one, two, three, four...breathe. Katarina burst into life spluttering and coughing, she bolted upright, and looked to Bo, who quickly comforted her by stroking her back. Dyson caught her eye and they both looked serious.

"Katarina, I'm sorry but you need to get home, call your parents and an ambulance as soon as possible. Here." Bo handed her her old mobile, Katarina assessed the situation with a confused mind, not really sure what was going on; she ran down the corridor.

"She didn't do it Dyson! She was tricked!" She called as she ran unstreadily, Bo looked to Dyson questioningly. Dyson shrugged and turned his back to her. They both went to the force field door to investigate. There was no evidence that she was blown back, there was no burns marks, no stones out of place, even the rain had stopped. It was all as if nothing happened, all except Bo was dripping blood from her mouth and nose.

"Are you ok?" He said, comforting her with his arm around her shoulders.

"I need to heal, but first I need to find out what the fuck is going on!" She pushed out of his arm and went from the door she was blasted away from, the force field had gone and she tried to make out where Scarlet had taken Tamsin.

"Scarlet was here! He took Tamsin." As she was about to look for her, Kenzi ran out of the hall with the stone bench.

"Bo Bo are you ok?" Kenzi said hugging Bo straight away without a second thought, she looked at Dyson behind her who was horrified at the strength Kenzi was hugging Bo with, quickly she let go and her eyes were wide and apologetic.

"Sheesh sorry, are you hurt?"

"Yeah, but there are more important things here Kenz! There was a blast and a student and I were hurt, I think Scarlet did it. He took Tamsin Kenzi, he took her from under my nose."

Kenzi was worried, she had a soft spot for Tamsin after the nights Bo and her had kept her up with their loud and annoying sex lives.

"She went crazy talking to herself the other night, it was like some kind of Valkyrie break down or something!"

"What was she saying?" They were now walking frantically down the corridor to find Tamsin. Screams were echoing down towards them, making them all look at each other and worry.

"That she was going to betray everyone, it wasn't who she was. She was sick of doing things for others." Kenzi said, half talking half desperately searching, her eyes darting from door to door. The walls in this part of the school were tapestry not wooden, the design was red and gold with old horse riders and kings. Dyson caught Tamsin's scent and started to run down the hall, Bo staggered after him, Kenzi started to run, remembered her bestie was almost dying and held her up. Bo looked at her in silent appreciation.

A blood curdling scream erupted from somewhere down the hall. Kenzi jumped and looked to Bo, Bo's face suddenly contorted to terrified worry, she stepped up her game and began a heavy painful run. Kenzi shook her head at Bo but realised the seriousness of the situation. Dyson was already at the source of the scream, ushering the two of them there. It was a heavy black oak door, carved intricately with tree branches and leaves, woven in between each other. Dyson's fingers tracing over them for a handle or opening, but it seemed to be part of the wall.

Another crackling scream shot through all of them. Dyson was about to wolf out on the door to open it, but Bo jumped in between. Dyson growled at her confused.

"No!" Bo started. "We don't know what's behind this door." There was another agonising, painful scream, this one was deeper and more heart wrenching. "I need to feed." Dyson looked at her, he didn't know what to do, he had never thought about Bo in that way, he just felt a definitive hold with her, to protect her for all of her life, I must keep her alive, he thought.

Their lips connected awkwardly, he was tentative and hesitant, to anyone else this would seem like a tender and sensual kiss. But his eyes were open, watching her expression, waiting for her to feed. At first she kissed back on his lips, holding his arms in her hands, but she ripped back from him the blue chi flooding into her body. He hunched forward his eyes wide in discomfort, Bo looked at him a smile spreading on her face as her body filled up and healed her broken ribs. The blood stopped flowing from her wounds and her face plumped out.

"Bo!" Dyson roared. She stopped a sucking his life force away from him, Dyson breathed heavily trying to fill himself back up. Bo smiled, heard the last heart stopping cry, and kicked so hard on the oak door that it smashed inwards her foot in pain from the power she gave out.

In the room was nothing, absolutely nothing except a dingy energy saving light bulb hanging on a white wire from the damp ceiling. There was one window high up on the wall opposite the door; the room itself was quite small when you looked closely enough, but at a glance the dark corners expanding further than your eyes would believe.

"Tamsin!" Bo called out, her eyes searching every corner and shadow as she ran inside. Out of no where there was another cry, Kenzi ran out of the room scared and looking for an alternative to this room. When she left a small yelp came out from her direction. Bo looked around to find her.

"Bo!" Kenzi called out, her voice shaky and quiet. "The hall way is gone." Confused Bo ran back outside, to be met by another stone room with only a light and tall window. Again she ran backwards to the same room. Her eyes looked around, it was the exact room duplicated, the hall way had just vanished. Dyson was helplessly looking around, sniffing for the source of this magic, hitting each wall trying to open it.

Suddenly there was a loud crack like thunder which shuddered their bones. Kenzi ran over to Bo and grabbed her arm, her eyes crazy, scared of what would happen next. Bo just looked to Dyson.

"What is going on?" Bo asked, Dyson shook his head in confusion and looked up to the light.

When he looked back down, Kenzi and Bo were gone. No where to be seen. He ran to the spot they just were in and sniffed, even their scent was gone.

"Dyson the wolf, lonely, loyal and forever in debt to Patrick McCorrigan." A loud deep royal voice called out, Dyson grabbed his ears as booming music played in the room. This time it was old Jazz music blaring into his ear drums, even the dust on the floor was shaking from the volume. Dyson fell to the floor in deafening pain.

"Where are you?" Through the pain Dyson got up and wolfed out, his body convulsing, his back and arm muscles growing with each breathe he took. From out of no where he was struck down, beaten to the floor.

"Stop this! Where is Bo and Kenzi!"

"Forever following in another's steps, so much for the brave wolf." The degrading voice yelled, yet the tone was calm. Dyson scrapped his nails against the wall to distract from the pain in his ears. The music changed from Jazz to Diana Ross, an odd mix but at this volume it was terrifying. Never had he wanted to turn the volume off as much as now.

"What do you want from me?!" Dyson called out, in a corner scratching his ears as the Cheeky Girls bellowed out of no where.

"I'm afraid Dyson, old wolf, that you have to die." The voice said simply, but equally has blood draining.

Kenzi stood clutching herself in the middle of a room, the light was not there, all there was was the tall window and its dusty smear floating in the air. Her shivering body was silent, but her eyes were wild with loss and frightened speed.

"Human, what purpose do you have here!? All you do is cling to Bo and hide behind her power." A voice erupted form everywhere and no where at the same time. Kenzi jumped and yelped a little, she went to run for a door, but there was none, her hands fell to the walls and she stroked along them desperately in search for an exit.

"Bo?" Kenzi whispered into the darkness, she could barely see a foot in front of her, even then it was a hazy blackness, and she was barely able to see her own hand apart from in one section where the light from the window was shining. She stepped into it and covered her eyes, hoping she could see something more.

"I am not cut out for this shit, I keep telling everyone! Since when did private detecting get so supernatural!" She whispered in a hiss to herself. It was getting colder in the room, the damp from the roof was leaking, dripping at intervals from a very dark spot in the roof.

"Do you want a simple life? I can give you that? A life away from fears, regrets, problems. I can return you to contentment." The voice she heard before was softer now, she almost believed it.

"You have a crazy cool voice dude!" She managed to say, and thought for a second. "I could be your manager! I know a chick with crazy talent skills!" She laughed slightly, and her false confidence she usually put on was wavered when a thunder of music blared into her ears, from every corner of the room. Hard metal music cracked her ear drums and she clasped them in shock, her face went pale and she screamed for it to stop. This was the worst music she had ever heard.

"This music is torture, you have horrible taste. I can give you a playlist to update your old school fantasy of hard rock...for a price." The music continued and she fell to the floor, suddenly the music stopped at least she stopped hearing it and her ears began to bleed.

Bo opened her eyes, instead of the damp, dark room she expected to see she was sat in her apartment, laying on the sofa, her head propped up on the arm. A little bit of drool escaped her mouth as she came about realising where she was. Her eyes widened at the sight and she jumped up, looking around for anyone.

"Hello!" She called out, but there was no echo, nor did it even compute in her ears that she had made a noise. Everything seemed like it was underwater, there was a washed out quality to everything, even her voice sounded muffled and contorted. She moved around to the kitchen looking for something that would give her a clue to where she was. The sink still had their dishes in from a few nights ago, there was still a half full jar of cheese puffs, still Kenzi had left her half eaten meal on the side where they prepare food. Even know in this obviously not real place Bo was pissed off at Kenzi for her untidiness.

"Hello?" She called out once more, this time there was a sort of response. At least she thought it was a response, she felt something different in the room, a presence of something, a small vibration in the air. She put her hand out in front of her as she walked forward, around their kitchen island and to the vending machine fridge. She could feel something warmer in front of her, like someone was there, yet her finger tips didn't feel anything solid. Bo's other hand felt down her leg to her dagger, she unhooked it and pulled it to aid the hand in front. As she did something grabbed hold of her arm and twisted it, making it release the dagger. But in that movement and her cry of pain Tamsin materialised in front of her. Yet there was something different, she was filled with a deep and disparaging sorrow, her icy eyes were now dull, just another light blue in the batch. If this was the real Tamsin she had changed.

"Tamsin?!" Bo whispered just audible and moved to hug her. In reflex Tamsin stepped back, before realised Bo wasn't going to hurt her. Rejection spread across Bo's face.

"What the hell is happening." Bo's voice sounded clearer, but it still felt like she was talking underwater, there was a pressure all around her.

"Bo I need to tell you something." Tamsin had tried to tell her before but she was cut off. Now was as good as any time to start talking.

"Scarlet? What has he done! Is he coming for us?!" Bo grabbed Tamsin by the arms and pulled her in closer, Tamsin was hesitant, her face unsure of the movement, scared even. Bo wondered what had happened to give her this reaction.

"Promise you wont get mad?" Tamsin said, an innocent look on her face as if this something had repressed her back to a child again.

"Tell me." Bo commanded in a soft but assertive voice, struggling now having found Tamsin to figure out what the hell was going on. She only realised now that Kenzi and Dyson weren't here.

"Scarlet is planning something and his plan starts today. I am not sure what it is yet, but I am trying to save you as best as I can." Tamsin's voice changed to a choke. "I just don't want to leave you Bo." Tamsin said, there were visible tears in her eyes. Bo hadn't really seen Tamsin like this, she was such a strong woman, even in the time she had known her.

"What do you mean, save me? Save me from what?" Bo asked, pulling Tamsin in for a hug.

At the moment of contact dark light covered the apartment, the features were covered in a shadow, both Bo and Tamsin looked up and around, startled by the change. At first Bo thought her eyes were shut, but soon they adjusted to the new light and she knew this was unnatural. A figure was emerging from the darkness towards them. Raven feathers were the first thing she saw, lots of black raven feathers attached to a thick black cloak. Blue eyes glowed through the shadow casting straight into Bo's soul. Like the first time she met him her stomach turned and she thought she was going to throw up, she hunched over and grabbed her stomach still keeping eye contact with the man as he approached. Tamsin knelt immediately on one knee her arm up in allegiance. Bo's instincts were running wild; run, stay, hide, fight. She couldn't move, her feet were firmly routed to the ground, she couldn't tell if she was too scared to run or whether he was doing it.

"At last we meet." A smooth dark chocolate voice boomed in a whisper in her direction. As the light grew brighter in the room, Scarlet came to stand just a little away from her face. His features were old and young, his black cloak was lined with the finest scarlet silk, and in his hand he held a wooden staff that touched the ground and left slight burn marks in its path. Bo's instincts calmed down as soon as he stopped advancing on her. Tamsin got up, bowed slightly and stood closer still to Bo, who she wanted to protect at all cost.

"What do you want from me?" Bo asked, looking at him the pain in her stomach subsiding, but there was still the memory of the gross deathly feeling he evoked in her.

"You need to come with us Bo." He said, less in an orderly way, but more an ultimatum. Come with us or else.

"Or what?" Bo countered, her pride too high to give up due to some cheap party tricks. A slow menacing cackle creped out from Scarlet's perfectly aligned teeth. Only now she realised, they were razor sharp. Tamsin was now stood up after some invisible cue from her commander. Her light hand felt heavy on Bo's shoulder, her eyes still connecting with Scarlet she turned her body slightly towards Tamsin; her comfort.

"Tamsin what does he mean?" Bo asked worried, but strong.

Without hesitation Tamsin replied.

"Just join us Bo, please for your own sake just join us." Her voice was weak, pleading, fed up, as if she just wanted this all to go away but for some reason she was still going along with it. Like a shitty game in class you don't want to do, especially with the kid you hate, but you have to.

"Join you?" Bo said, her eye brows lifting in semi-suprise; she knew something like this was going to happen, she could feel it coming.

"Yes.-" Scarlet said in a dragged out hungry tone. "We require a strong, agile, young and powerful Fae to help us on our quest. You just so happen to be one of the most powerful Fae I have ever come across in all of the moons." Scarlet said his demena slightly wavering when he said those last words, more in awe and impression than in malice. She smiled at the weird compliment and laughed slightly.

"Why thank you buddy, but why have you kidnapped my friends, almost killed one of my students, broke into a school might I add and brainwashed my...girlfriend-" Bo had to say the last words, she just had to say it out loud, to admit her feelings for this girl she had only known a few weeks. At the words a small conflicted smile broke out on Tamsin's face and she looked down. "It's not cool." She added, to distract from the awkwardness in the air now. Tamsin's hand was still reassuringly on her shoulder, Bo sent small silent waves of pleasure through her to make her calm.

"Well-" Scarlet began noticing what Bo was doing. "This is even more reason for you to join us." He held out a strong but old hand, smooth skin but there was a gut feeling that his hand was frail and wrinkly, although she couldn't see it, she just had a sense. Bo still didn't understand was she was joining.

"You haven't told me what this is all about, why do you need me, why do you need Tamsin."

Scarlet smiled again.

"We are going to remove this innate hypocrisy from this Planet, we are going to stop these sides of light and dark forever. Those who were meant to, will rule." He said, his voice majestic and controlled, loud and fierce, serious yet playful.

"And how are you going to do that?" Bo hadn't realised but the three of them were in the old school room with one light and one tall window. In the corner was a shape no one had noticed.

"Do you want there to be no sides, do you want everyone to be in harmony. Do you want to end the turmoil and suffering for thousands of humans who are fed on every day?" He offered it to her on a plate. All the things she stood for, peace, harmony, ending this cattalisation of humans for Fae goods.

"I do, but-"

"But nothing, you either want these things or you don't Isaebo"

"I want them."

"Then it's settled you will join us in our quest?" Tamsin gripped her shoulder a little more tightly, Bo didn't understand whether this was a plea to walk away or a encouragement to continue.

"If that's really what you stand for." Bo was unused to battering on such a topic, she was used to kicking them in the crotch, fucking her way out of any situation and all in time for dinner with Kenzi. She was not used to this. Even with the garuda, it was walking around finding him, killing him and walking away. But now this guy not one single person really knew anything about was offering her this deal. Something in his bright blue eyes and the dark Raven feathers made her want to follow him wherever he went. His smooth voice and majestic façade made her feel allegiance to him. Somewhere in her she knew what Tamsin was feeling. Bo's hand began to stretch outwards, although internally her mind was conflicted her body as always knew what it wanted, her own eyes glowed blue. Scarlet's hand too outstretched his eyes glowing brighter the closer each of them got to each other. Tamsin's hand grew stronger in her grip of Bo, Bo now understood that even Tamsin was unsure of what was going to happen when the two of them connected.

Just a moment away from each other, their fingers so close to touching. Bo's heart pounded in her throat, scared, frightened, she fought off what her instincts were telling her to do, she fought off the demons that paraded in her head the past few nights when she thought about how she was meet him. Her mouth went dry, and her body tensed up.

A second away now. Time was moving agonisingly slow, the tension building in everyone present. Bo now noticed the cold room, the dank ceiling and the now flickering light bulb.

As the two of them connected, Bo was shocked backwards yet was stuck to the ground. The power both of them wielded snapped at each other, Bo' whole body illuminated sapphire blue whereas Scarlet's whole body emitted a crimson red. The room glowed a beautiful purple, each corner was struck with this colour, even the shadows were non-existent. Tamsin shielded her eyes from the brightness but was just able to see the two of their bodies leave the ground and float just for a few seconds. From their eyes seemed to flow a chi that neither had experienced before, the chi's met in the middle and much like when two forces of water clash in the middle a great slow motion splash collided. Bo's head cracked back, but the chi still shot through her eyes. Suddenly the chi stopped, theirs hands disconnected and the both of them stopped glowing. Tamsin looked at Scarlet's head which too was cracked back at looking at the ceiling. Bo's breathing was heavy, she was exhausted all of a sudden, she fell back into Tamsin's protective arms, watching what was happening to Scarlet. He was hunched forwards, his head shaking slightly there was a noise coming from him but they didn't know if it was a laugh, a cry, a muffled word or what it was. The chi seemed to diffuse into the air around them, everyone present feeling electrified.

"Whoa ha ho!" Scarlet cried out, louder than he needed, his body shot up and some feathers were falling to the ground. "You are special." He cried out, the room flooded with loud music Bo collapsed to the floor in agony holding her head and looking to Tamsin's scared face. Tamsin walked to Scarlet who was still hysterically laughing. Bo suffered through the music and got up, looking around the room for some sort of off button. In the corner she saw two human forms, a large one and a small one.

"No!"

Blackness.
