Author's Note:

I am so sorry about the delay. I have had some issues creep up in my personal life that sucked. Thus, the story was set on the back burner while I dealt with them. Fear not, for the story is not dead!

Please keep comments and reviews coming, as always I wish to improve myself.

Sol System

Earth Orbit

"Well, the good news is that the Replicators disabled any system that would give you trouble," Josh told the IOA team assembled in the control room of the Ha'tak. He replaced the cover over the control crystals. "The recall device is destroyed entirely, and the self-destruct was disabled. Internal security systems are set to a standby, so you can reprogram them yourselves."

"What is the bad news?" the head of the team, a Chinese man, asked.

"Well, the Replicators reset just about everything," Josh rubbed his face. "Everything from life support to the helm has been rewritten. That means you can access it, but it also means it's not secure. You'll have to spend the time to reset it yourself."

"You aren't going to help us?" a Frenchman asked, incredulous. He openly glared at the Tok'ra man before him. Josh sighed.

"I have more than a dozen ships to go over, sir," he was trying to be polite but firm. "The SGC can help you, and once we're done the other Tok'ra and I will be more than happy to help. However, we have to be sure. If even one of these ships has a recall device or other trojan program running, it could easily kill its entire crew." He picked up his gear and headed for the ring room, ready to head to his next project.

Dakara System

Temple Complex

Teal'c stood next to the ring platform, next to Bra'tac and Raknor. Behind them, more than a dozen Jaffa stood as an honor guard, staff weapons and borrowed Earth firearms held at the ready. This was going to be a historic moment, on a day full of them.

A light filled the chamber, and the familiar shriek of an incoming ring transmission filled the air. The deep throbbing sound of the rings moving caused the very bones in his body to vibrate, and then the golden glow of a materialization let them know their guest had arrived.

A very muscular Jaffa, dressed in brilliant crimson armor, stood before them. Two Jaffa in more subdued armor were behind him. Between them was a redheaded woman, her hands bound behind her, and her eyes burning with a deep fury.

"Teal'c, the one who started all of this, it is an honor to finally meet you in person." The big Jaffa stepped forward to clasp Teal'c on the hand. Teal'c nodded in return.

"It has been a long time," Bra'tac said. He stepped forward. The two former First Primes sized each other up. The big man laughed first.

"Last time, I was on the run from Apophis' forces. I remember them well. My former master made sure I would not forget." He turned around, and addressed the woman held captive behind him. "Is that not correct, Morrigan?"

Her eyes burned with a fierce light as she glared at him. "You have no idea the depths of suffering you will face for your betrayal, Shol'va!"

"You may think my sparing you was a mercy, false god," her First Prime told her. "However, that is far from the truth." He turned back to Teal'c and Bra'tac. "Morrigan is no ordinary Goa'uld. She is in fact a Queen."

Teal'c exchanged a glance with his friends. "That is impossible," Bra'tac said. "No Queen is allowed to become a System Lord. Those who do try to amass their own power are renegades."

"I am pleased to tell you that this is not entirely the case, master Bra'tac," Morrigan's First Prime told him. "She has kept the secret very well. Before she became a System Lord Morrigan disguised her own spawn as those of her mother. After, there was no one who could even call her out on it. Only I, as her First Prime, was privy to the information. Therefore, Masters, I decided not to execute her. I chose instead to capture her, and present her to the fathers of the new Jaffa nation. As a gift. Her larvae will sustain countless Jaffa."

Teal'c gazed at her, then nodded. "We should contact the Tok'ra. They can remove symbiotes without killing them. This way we may benefit from her young and free her host at the same time." He gestured to the Jaffa standing guard. "Take her to a cell. See that she remains there."

Dakara System

Baal's former Flagship

Pel'tak

Kel'mon, former servant of Kronus and comrade-in-arms to Teal'c and Bra'tac, was feeling very conflicted. As he coordinated the salvage and repair of the countless ships in orbit of Dakara, he was beyond happy that his people were finally free from the yoke of the Goa'uld. Yet, the cost of the freedom, in terms of blood, was painfully obvious to him.

On this ship alone, several hundred Jaffa had given their lives for a false god, fighting the Replicators. That was only part of the crew of a single ship. With hundreds of ships adrift in space around them, that meant millions of Jaffa had died just on the vessels he was seeing.

"Kel'mon, I have news for you," Rai'na spoke. A female warrior who had fought for the rebellion for years, Kel'mon knew her well. He came up to the station she was working on.

"What have you found?"

"I have managed to get into the computer, master. I have found the location of Baal's most carefully guarded secret."

"The location of the Kull warriors?"

"Not just that, master," she smirked as she pointed to the screen. "The site where they are bred, and controlled. If we can destroy it, then the last great threat to our people will be eliminated."

Kel'mon nodded, and grinned. "Very good. I will inform master Bra'tac. We should be prepared to move out soon."

Earth

Stargate Command

"They found what, Carter?" O'Neill asked, incredulous.

"The Jaffa think they've found where Baal moved the Kull Warrior facility." She handed him a printout. "As you know, Anubis' facility on Tuat was known to the rebellion. After Baal found it, he moved all the equipment to another planet in order to keep it secret from the Jaffa or the Tok'ra. The Jaffa captured Baal's personal ship after the battle at Dakara. Apparently they were able to get the location from that."

O'Neill shrugged. "Long live the revolution, then. Do we have anything to help them with?"

It was Carter's turn to shrug. "Well sir, the Prometheus is still pretty beat up after the Replicator attack. The Daedalus is still a few weeks away from being complete, and we're still going over the Goa'uld ships in orbit. We could send some teams through the gate, except that Baal almost certainly has a shield over the gate on the other planet. Right now the best we could do is provide more Kull disruptors to the Jaffa."

O'Neill nodded. "Do it," he said. "Also see if Teal'c wants us to send any soldiers to go with them. I'd like us to see the end of these guys first-hand."

Ti'Amun System

More than a hundred vessels exited hyperspace. The sky over the world seemed to be filled with a roiling blue cloud, so numerous were the hyperspace windows. As soon as they were clear, the Ha'taks launched Al'kesh bombers, troop transports, and death gliders. The vessels descended toward the surface, while the motherships spread out and prepared to bombard the surface if necessary.

The first wave of transports landed, while bombers and gliders circled overhead. They advanced toward the facility, special anti-Kull weapons at the ready. The doors were sealed, but a single blast from a glider solved that problem. The Jaffa surged in.

Sitting in the command chair of the lead vessel, Bra'tac looked up as the viewscreen activated. Raknor had a grim set to his face.

"What have you found, brother?" Bra'tac asked him. "Have we the wrong world?"

Raknor shook his head. "I do not believe so, master. There is plentiful equipment here to breed symbiotes, and to produce clones like the Kull hosts. However, there are no Kull here. Several rooms that may have been control rooms also appear to be stripped clean. I believe someone came here before us and removed the Kull and the devices to control them."

Bra'tac frowned. "They must have been in a hurry, to leave behind the equipment to create more. Very well. See if you can find anything that could tell us where Baal took them. Then we will destroy this place."

"Master," Raknor spoke up. "There is something else. Between the Stargate and the first control room, there is evidence of combat. Signs of Kull blaster fire, and blood. It is possible whomever took the Kull was attacked before they could bring the warriors under their full control."

Bra'tac was confused. "I thought Baal had full control of them already?"

Raknor nodded. "As did I. We will see if we can find anything. Raknor out."

So, here is the update. Again, sorry it took so long.

I have a question. While I am going to continue the story, it is going to jump ahead a few months, much as it did between seasons 8 and 9 in SG-1. So, should I continue the story here, or end this entry and continue the storyline in a new document? I have seen some do that, I just wondered if it would be appropriate.

As always, reviews are more than welcome. Thanks!
