Chapter 9
I knew I had to go visit Charlie sooner or later, he was like a second dad to me and I cared about him. He gonna be okay but he was allowed to leave but I wondered why he hasn't left yet. When I got to his room door I knocked he looked from the window to me and smiled feebly.
"Hey Charlie." I smiled
"Hey Jacob." He rasped
Charlie hasn't been able to talk at full volume because he got stabbed in the throat area
"Charlie what happened that night they still haven't caught the person they've been searching."
"That's because they're not in Forks."
"You saw who stabbed you?" I asked
He nodded
"Charlie we need to know."
"She's living with you."
"You mean Leah, we live together we're the only two in that house." I said
"No not in your new house where Billy lives."
"Shit Bella." I said standing up
"That's why I can't go home cause I fear she may try to kill."
"She's not trying to kill you." I said
It was starting to click
"Leah. I have to go."
I ran and took out my phone calling Leah
"Hey babe, I was just leaving Emily's, I'm on the road home. Cause I have something important to tell you"
"No Leah you need to turn around and go back to Emily's."
"What do you mean, why?" She asked
"Trust me." I said
"Okay just let me do a U-turn."
I ran to my car and drove back to LaPush quickly I saw Leah's car coming up and a truck from behind honking like crazy
"Leah!" I screamed
But it was too late the truck hit her ricocheted her into the trees I braked suddenly and ran out to help her
"No Leah." I whispered
I ripped off the door and lifted her out she was cut on the leg badly and she coughed violently, I put her in the backseat of my Rabbit and drove back to the hospital. I lifted her out and ran inside.
"Somebody help! I need a doctor."
"Doctors came running and they took her on the slab they took her away.
Hours the pack was present I howled to give them a sign that I was at the hospital, I sat against the wall and felt hopeless what if she wasn't okay what if she didn't remember me. The doctor finally came out and I stood up
"Is she okay?" Sue asked in pure devastation
"She has a few deep wounds but she'll be okay, she wants to a Jacob."
"That's me." I blurted out
I got up and ran to her room she was awake and tears were streaming her face
"Leah, I'm so sorry I didn't get to you in time." I said
"Jake come here." She whispered
I went closer and held her hand
"You were there to take me here that's all that matters."
I kissed her forehead and sighed
"Jake, there's something I needed to tell you."
I nodded
"Jake, I'm pregnant." She whispered
My face softened. I was gonna be a father.
"I'm gonna be a dad." I smiled
She nodded myself
I cried and she kissed my forehead
This was the best news to boost my spirits, there was an extra bed room within ours I started painting and building cribs I even built a rocking chair for Leah she looked beautiful as her stomach grew slowly. I knew I wanted to marry this woman I got her mom's blessing and my dad gave me mom's ring and I was honored that she would wear it. Although my life had turned upside down due to my memory loss I was glad to have the woman I was about to name my wife in every situation.
BPOV
As I walked the halls of the hospital I snuck into Charlie's room and closed the door
"Wake up." I yelled
Charlie jolted awake once he saw me he tried pressing the emergency button, I shoved it away from him
"It's your fault Jake won't come near me I packed everything and left Billy's house because and now the rumor is their having a kid and getting married so because of you." I lifted the knife I had in my pocket and then he kicked me away and ran out
"Son of a bitch." I muttered
I ran after him and he ran downstairs I followed once we were out into the street he stopped he tried yelling
"Help." He rasped
I kicked him down and towered over him with my knife
"Kiddo you don't have to do this." He rasped
"I have to cause when your back on your feet you'll come after me and I can't have that."
"Its okay if Jacob doesn't remember." He rasped
"He never came around he just moved on from me. Because of you!" I whispered tears streaming down and lifted my knife
Then someone tackled me down and it was Embry, son of a bitch.
"Guys get the car and put Charlie in." I heard Sam say
I got up and ran towards the forest never to look back again I knew exactly how Jacob would remember me entirely
A/N - Damn that was intense, Bella was this close to killing Charlie but thanks to the amazing and smexy wolf pack they saved him, but watch out for the next few Chapters cause only one Chapter left until the Epilogue so tune in for Chapter 10 peace out -FAYED
