Chapter 10: Faithful Encounter

"I shall answer any question you have to the best of my ability."

"Okay then; I want to know exactly the reason why you chose me as your wielder. Why would you choose someone like me to be your partner; I just don't get it."

"So I have to find out why you chose me when you already know the answer?"
"That is correct," his partner told him. Minato thought of another question, one that Kai has already explained.
"Then can you tell me the relationship between the ones who wield a blade like you. As far as I know, there are three of us. Kai being one, and me being the other. Kai mentioned a third person; but what I want to know is, how are the three of us related?"

"We three blades are siblings, which you know; however, you don't know which one is the oldest."
"Huh? But Kai said you formed from your father's broken pieces. So wouldn't you all be the same age?" Minato questioned. His question caused Leonidas to chuckle.
"Observant, but our age wasn't determined by that. Before we became whole, the one who was fully restored was the oldest, and the last one is the youngest."

"So if that's true, would you be the oldest?"

"No," Minato replied with a quick nod. "I understand perfectly. I just have one more question."
Minato took a deep breath.
"At one point, will your power start to consume me?"
The entire place was silent for moment. Leonidas raised his head again.
"The only way for that to happen, is if you allow it to. Your friend made that mistake when using my sister."
"But it wasn't his fault. Kai was just angry because of what happened to him. If he wasn't treated like he was, then that would've happened."
"That may be so; but he probably would've never became a wielder if it didn't. Of course, that's just life; and I've witnessed it countless times. All the chaos humans can cause because of desire."
Leonidas disappeared into the shadows, giving Minato one last at his eyes before completely vanishing.

With that said, Minaka disappeared. Jacob just rested his head on his palm with an arrogant smile across his lips.
"Things are definitely starting to get more interesting. I wonder how he's going to react to this."
Jacob let out another yawn.
"Well, I better get ready to go on patrol. As chief of police, I have to check out anything suspicious. You girls want to come with?"

Whatever hit the ground caused dust to rise, concealing the person's presence. When it cleared, Uzume was revealed in her battle outfit. But the top half of her head was covered behind the veils. Taki and Himeko prepared themselves, but Jacob proceeded ahead of them.
"You two stand down; let me handle this."
"But," Taki complained. Jacob just ignored it and focused on Uzume.

"He doesn't need to know," Uzume replied. She started moving her arms, manipulating her veils in the process. She noticed something different about herself. Still, she waved her arms, causing the veils to snap at Jacob. He didn't bother moving and let the veils wrap around his wrist. This caused to smirk.
"I've received orders to kill you; and it wasn't from him," Uzume responded. This only made Jacob grin more. He vehemently yanked the veils, pulling Uzume to him; but she quickly detached them and moved back.
"Hm, I see that you're smart at decision making. But why have you decided to attack me?" Jacob asked. Uzume didn't respond and clapped her hands together. The veils that Jacob pulled began to move. The veils wrapped around him like a boa constrictor and attempted to strangle him. Uzume slowly started closing her hands, making the veils constrict more.
"Dance of the Constrictor," Uzume stated in a cold tone. Her hands were almost closed, but Jacob remained calm. Unable to watch anymore, Himeko rushed at Uzume while Taki enshrouded the area in mist.
"Hold it!" Jacob exclaimed. All three girls stopped and looked at the ashikabi. The mist vanished, revealing Himeko and Uzume about to hit each other.
"I told you to let me handle this."
"But you're tied up," Taki pointed out. He smirked again and closed his eyes. He attempted to break free from the veils.
"It's no use; you cannot break free," Uzume told him. Jacob focused his center of gravity.

"That's none of your concern," she stated.
"Oh? Then why are we connected if it's not my concern? And why is he unaware of what you're doing? Is that none of his concern as well?" Jacob interrogated. Uzume gasped softly and turned her head.
"It's better if he doesn't finds out."
Jacob took in another scent, narrowing his eyes as a result. The girls didn't see it, but Jacob was tightening his fists.
"I see. So you're working for him. I should've known he would be signaling me out," Jacob said.
"What?" Uzume asked. Jacob pointed at her.
"If you see your boss, tell him that I'll be coming for him; and I'm not talking about the one who gave you the order to kill me. I mean the head of the organization," he stated. Jacob drew his sword and stabbed it in the ground.
"Until we meet again, make sure your ashikabi keeps getting stronger."
Suddenly, fire started blazing around Jacob and his sekirei. Uzume's veils protected her eyes from the light. The flames intensified, causing Uzume to jump back. When she focused again, she found herself alone. She just let out a sigh and took out her phone from her cleavage. As it rang, she couldn't get the thought of Kai out of her head.
"It's me," she said into the phone. "I couldn't do it; he was too strong for me."
"I see. I figured he was too strong," the receiver replied. Uzume was surprised by the voice and gulped a little spit.
'What the! What's he doing here?' she pondered.
"It's just a little miscalculation, no big deal. The good news is that you survived," the receiver continued.
"What are you doing here?" Uzume questioned. There was an amused laugh.
"Your original administrator is busy at the moment; he's doing something for me right now. So I will be administrating your assignments," the receiver responded.
"I see," Uzume replied.
"Alright then; for now, I need you on standby," the receiver said.
"I understand," Uzume responded. There was another laugh.
"Would you like to speak to her?" the person asked. Uzume gasped as her eyes expanded.
"She's there? What have you done to her!?"
The person laughed once again.
"I haven't done anything to her; at least, not yet anyway."
Uzume's eyes gleamed with anger.
"Let me speak with her."
"You sure? She's kind of…"
"NOW!" Uzume interrupted.
"Hahaha, I like that anger. Maybe there's hope for you two yet," the person said. Uzume waited for a moment before the receiver changed.
"Uzume?" a female voice sounded. Uzume smiled ecstatically.
"Sis! Are you okay? You're not hurt are you?" Uzume questioned.
"No, I'm fine; don't worry," the girl replied. Uzume sighed a breath of relief.
"That's great; I'm glad you're okay," she responded.
"Uzume, have you found your ashikabi?" Uzume's sister asked.
"Hehehe, I have. His name is Kai and he's a really great guy. He's incredibly strong, smart, really sweet, and so kind. I absolutely love him," Uzume declared.
"That's great Uzume; I'm happy for you. I hope I get to meet him one day," her sister replied. Uzume giggled.
"You will; I'll make sure of it."
"Thank you Uzume; I'm glad you're doing well," her sister said. Uzume smiled softly.
"Yeah," she replied.
"Oops sorry that's all the time you have," the previous person interrupted.
"Wait," Uzume said. But it was too late. The phone turned off, leaving Uzume alone again.
"Sigh, now what should I do?"
Uzume started traveling her way back to the inn with her head hung low. But she shook her head and put on a confidence countenance.
"I can't think like that. I have to have faith in myself."
Izumo Inn
"ABSOLUTELY NOT!" Tsukiumi exclaimed. Currently, she is dressed in a blue maid outfit. Veins were popping out of her head as Musubi and Minato, who was utterly speechless, stood with her.
"Why must I wear such a ridiculous attire?"
Musubi giggled at her.
"You have to wear more comfortable clothes when helping around the inn," she told her. That's when Tsukiumi started shaking her violently.
"Just because you wear such outfits doesn't mean I will lower myself into wearing them," she stated.
"But…I…thought…you…would…prefer…some…thing…more…com…for…ta…ble," Musubi said in between shakes. Tsukiumi let her go, making her fall to the ground dizzy. Tsukiumi then saw Minato staring at her and crossed her arms.
"And what are thou looking at?" she interrogated. Minato flinched at her sharp tone.
"I didn't mean to stare; but you looked so cute that I couldn't help it," he complimented. Tsukiumi blushed at her ashikabi's compliment and turned her head to avoid his gaze.
"Do you really think so?" she asked.
Minato also turned his head away as he scratched the back of his head.
"Yes, you look really cute in it," he replied. Musubi was still on the ground dizzy, but when she regained focus, her eyes shot open and a shadow image of a raging grizzly bear roared out loud, scaring the hell out of Matsu, who was in the ceiling laughing at the ashikabi and maid. She fell right out and landed in Minato's arms. Tsukiumi's head immediately shot to the angry bear, only to see Musubi with a happy smile.
'What was that?' she pondered.
"What's the matter? You girls look as though you've seen a ghost," Minato pointed out after seeing their scared faces. Matsu was the first to reply.
"You seriously did not see that?"
Minato shook his head, and then blushed at how close Matsu's cleavage was to his face. He gently but quickly let her walk and suppressed his naughty thoughts.
"I didn't see anything; but I did hear you scream," he pointed out. Tsukiumi and Matsu were both surprised.
"So you didn't see the killer bear?" Matsu asked.
"A bear? Here in the inn?" Minato asked back. Matsu fixed her glasses, making the lenses shine as her trademark grin appeared across her lips.
'Amazing.' Tsukiumi and Matsu simultaneously thought.
"Big brother," Kusano called as she appeared at the door in a cute wagtail costume. She made little mouse noises, causing Minato to chuckle at her.
"You look so cute Ku; is that a wagtail?" he asked her. She nodded as she continued making cute noises.
"Apparently, Uzume brought these outfits along with her, as well as use the ones she already has here," Miya said as she entered the kitchen. She saw Tsukiumi and giggled.
"Minato; I hope you weren't thinking of committing indecent acts with your sekirei."
She summoned her demon as her malevolent aura cut the air around them, thickening it. Musubi and the other sekirei hid behind their ashikabi, who was amazingly unaffected by their landlady's demon. Minato bowed to Miya.
"Please forgive us Miya; I won't break the rules. This is swear."
Miya died the aura down, returning the atmosphere to normal.
"Very good then. As for now, I would like to send Tsukiumi and Musubi on a little errand for me."
"Why must I go?" Tsukiumi questioned.
"Because those who don't help doesn't eat; and if you're not the first one back, you will get to sit with Minato at dinner," Miya replied bluntly. That was all that needed to be said before Tsukiumi hauled ass out the door with Musubi hauling right behind her, leaving dust clouds trailing behind. Minato sweat dropped as he watched the girls leave.
"That sure lit their fire," Minato said.
"What happened?" Kai asked walking up next to him.
"They're running an errand for Miya while racing to sit next to me at dinner."
Kai nodded his head.
"Well while they're doing that, let's start a little of your training. Just a few basic things."
"Okay," Minato replied chasing after him. The wielders went to the backyard with their swords in hand, only to be greeted by Akitsu wearing a white maid outfit. Kai turned red by her appearance, but didn't look away.
"Akitsu…you look really cute in your outfit," he complimented.
Akitsu blushed and bowed.
"Dinner will be ready shortly master," she said. "In the meantime, would you like to bathe first?"
She tugged on her collar to reveal more of her breast.
"Or do you want me?"
Both boys reddened at the scene.
"Um, for now, I want you to help Miya with anything she needs," Kai told her.
"As you wish master," Akitsu replied and bowed again. Before she left, Kai gave her a cheek on the cheek and watched her leave with red cheeks. He then turned to Minato, who gave him a thumbs up.
"Alright Minato; before we begin, I want you to get use to handling your blade. It's crucial that you know how to use Leonidas.
"So you just want me to swing repeatedly?" Minato asked.
"Yes," Kai replied with a short nod. "Reason why is because you don't want to accidentally hit yourself, hit me, or hit anyone who isn't a target. You also need a good stance. A good stance will help you move around dodge attacks more effortlessly. Poor stances result in unbalance and will be a lot easier to take you down."
"Show me yours so I know where I should start," Minato requested. Kai smiled and unsheathed Firestorm. He turned sideways and crouched low to the ground. He cocked his sword arm back and hovered his other hand right above the tip of the blade. He extended his right leg out while keeping his left leg bent.
"You see my stance? With a solid stance, I can attack with more threatening power," Kai explained. Minato nodded his head as he mentally jot down what Kai told him.
"There are thousands of stances; but there is only one that suits you best."
"How will I know?" Minato asked. Kai stroked his chin after sheathing his blade.
"When I found mine, it had this warm feeling, like it was just right."
Minato tilted his head confused.
"I know it's confusing, but trust me on this. When you find your stance, you'll know you got it."
Minato nodded, and the two spent the next few minutes testing out stances. As they did, Takehito was standing on the porch watching.
"Hmm, so there are three blades with Kai and Minato being two of the wielders. Kai must've done a lot of research. I better do my own as a matter of fact."
Elsewhere
Jacob was following the scent he got from Uzume.
"I can't believe he was here," he growled. When he got to the end of the trail, he saw a woman standing over two defenseless bystanders.
"Hmm?"
Jacob adjusted his eyes as he yelled out,
"Hey! What are you doing?!"
Everyone stopped and looked at Jacob. The male bystander was an above average-height and slim young man with messy brown hair and green eyes, wearing a white shirt and blue jeans. Over his shirt was a blue jacket. The female bystander was a fairly short, fair skinned girl with blue eyes and messy chin-length blond hair. She looked fairly petite, wearing a blue long sleeved blouse with a white collar and a matching ruffled skirt, knee high black boots and white stockings that stop just above her knees. The attacker was a woman with short black hair. She wore a purple, yellow, and black outfit that wrapped around her and is held together by a small metal ring right below her breasts. Portions of her midriff, sides, arms, and thighs were exposed while the rest was checkered back and forth with purple and yellow.
The woman only smiled at Jacob's exclamation.
"Leave them alone!" Jacob shouted as he entered a neutral stance.
"Hm, and just who the hell are you telling me what to do?" the woman questioned. Jacob smirked.
"I'm the soon to be Ashikabi of the East. Now leave them be and I'll give you a better challenge."
She laughed and faced him.
"You honestly think you, a weak human, can beat me?"
"Human, I'm not; and I don't think I can, I know I can," Jacob declared with arrogance in his voice. The woman was intrigued by that first part, as were Jacob's sekirei. They were also confused.
"You are about to see what this Wolf of Fire can do."
Jacob smirked as he took the defensive stance he used against Uzume.
"Come at me."
Smiling, the woman rushed at Jacob and launched a powerful high kick; however, thanks to his center of gravity, Jacob diverted her kick and spun her around. He the kept the smirk as he remained in his defensive stance. As her world twirled, the woman extended another leg, using the momentum to increase her attack. Jacob flipped out of her range and simply stood there.
"I know I said I could beat you, but I have a code against hitting females."
He looked in the woman's direction.
"But come then if you still want to fight."
"Hmm, so you can't hit a female; then let's dance shall we?" the woman asked.
She charged at Jacob and went for the leg sweep. Leapt over her head and ended up behind her. She then performed a back hand, but Jacob ducked and diverted the attack up. Jacob couldn't help but smile as he waged his finger.
"You cannot beat my Dragon Defense," he stated.
"We'll see about that!" the woman shouted. She did a summersault kick, but Jacob sidestepped out of the way; however, the woman started spinning on her hands with her legs straight out, tornado kicking.
"Hmmm, interesting," Jacob said. He did a spin flip, completing avoiding the tornado kicks; and as she threw a punch, Jacob gently grabbed her arm and smirked.
"My name is Jacob Lykos; what's your name? I know that you're a sekirei."
She looked the man.
"Sekirei no 18, Ichiya," she introduced. "How did you fight like that?"
Jacob smiled.
"It's simple; I used Defensive Dragon."
"What?" she asked.
"The style of martial arts I use is Lykos Free Form," Jacob replied. "The form I use is dragon."
Ichiya was even more confused.
"I've heard of every form of martial arts, but I've never heard of that form."
Jacob elaborated. "It's a style of martial arts on my home planet, Lykos. The style was created by me."
He released Ichiya and noticed that the bystanders have already left the scene.
"Home planet?" Ichiya asked. Jacob nodded.
"Earth is my second home, but Lykos is where I was born."
"WHAT!" Taki shouted. Jacob scratched his head.
"Oh yeah; I forgot to mention, I'm not human. I thought this was understood though."
"The inhuman abilities yes; but I never figured you were an alien," Taki replied.
"Well I'm not exactly an alien. I still have human DNA fused to my Licothian genetics," Jacob elaborated.
"Licothian? I'm guessing that's your race," Ichiya inquired.
"Correct, that is my race; but I was considered Licothian-Human," Jacob answered. Ichiya put on an impressed smile.
"Not bad; I find that exotically fascinating to say the least."
Taki stroked her chin.
"So who was this guy you mentioned earlier?"
Jacob narrowed his eyes in disgust and tightened his hands back into fists.
"I'd rather not say; but just know that he is a man who made me what I am today."
"Is it too personal?" Taki asked. Jacob looked at the ground.
"Let's just say, I'm darker than you might think."
"Darker?" Himeko finally spoke up. Jacob looked at his hand.
"Yes, I was cursed a long time ago," he said. He turned to Taki.
"Taki, you remember my wolf form right?"
"Ye-yeah; I remember," she replied.
"Well, I was attacked a long time ago. I was getting use to the first area I arrived in, getting use to my locations; but I ended up in the woods. There was a full moon out; and the sword you see me with started to glow yellow."
As he told the story, he had memories of that day. He was walking through the forest, feeling the night wind blowing in his face. Even though it was dark, he managed to find his way through. Suddenly, he heard a deep growl coming from the bushes in front of him. He immediately froze and gulped a little spit.
"Hello? Who's there?"
He grabbed the hilt of his blade as he crept closer to the growling sound.
"Show yourself! I know you're there!"
He stepped on a twig, and that's when a giant black shadow jumped out from the bushes. Jacob quickly drew his blade from its scabbard and immediately slashed downward; but the shadow bit deep into his arm.
"AGH!" Jacob screamed as blood oozed out and poured to the ground. That's when two yellow orbs appeared from the shadow, as well as a dark aura around Jacob. He was wrestling with the shadow as he finally managed to grab his blade and stabbed the shadow's side, causing it to howl in pain. Once free, Jacob vehemently cut its head off in sheer rage. When he calmed down, Jacob heard a voice laughing in his head.
"What the; first the shadow and now this?"
It continued laughing.
"Your power is quite strong; but now I have awakened it. My blade has responded to the fire of your determination deep down inside," it told Jacob. "I now deem you as my wielder. Try not to die kid."
"W-Who are you?" Jacob asked. Suddenly, he was face to face with a giant black wolf. Jacob was completely flabbergasted at the beast towering over him, seeing its smile revealing rows of fangs.
"I am Destros; and you my friend, have just gained a level of power," he introduced.
"B-But the shadow; I know I killed it," Jacob replied.
"Did you? I'm standing right here in front of you aren't I?" Destros interrogated. Jacob couldn't believe his eyes.
"You're the shadow? But why are you a wolf?"
"For such a weak human, you sure do ask a lot of questions," Destros insulted. "I am that shadow; and let me give you a little warning about this partnership."
Destros got in his face and gave Jacob the death glare.
"I will not tolerate any weakness."
"I'm not weak! I am a Licothian, a Lykos warrior who never loses a battle," Jacob boasted. Destros grinned ear to ear.
"That's what I want to hear; just make sure those words aren't all talk."
Jacob shook his head no.
"They won't be."
He took out his sword; but it started to change. The blade started to shine as wolf symbols mysteriously appeared.
"Cool."
That's when more things started to change. For unknown reasons, Jacob's eyes started to cause him great pain.
"What the hell?!"
He grabbed his face as he squirmed around. His eyes started glowing yellow, causing the pupils themselves to change as well. When it was all over, his eyes were exactly like a wolf's. He scanned the forest, but could see things in a different perspective. Without turning his head, Jacob could see the heat signature of every living thing. He could see a bird soar behind him and land on a tree branch.
"Wh-What is this?"
"This is what my eyes see. Now that you're my wielder, your senses will slowly match mine; however, you must first pass the trial I have set for you," Destros told him.
"Trial?" Jacob repeated.
"Yes, to utilize my true power, you must pass my trial. But, if you fail, your soul becomes mine," Destros stated. Jacob's eyes widened.
"WHAT!"
The flashback ended, and Jacob resumed talking.
"So, after completing my trial, I gained the use of Destros's full power and become the hardcore badass you see now," he finished with a smile.
"So that's how you became a wielder," someone pointed out. Everyone turned their heads, only to see Kai making his way towards them. Jacob immediately smiled upon seeing him and his blade.
"Well if it isn't Kai Sasaki; and what are you doing here?"
Kai stopped a few feet away.
"What did you do to Uzume?" he asked bluntly with anger in his tone. Jacob tilted his head a little.
"I didn't do anything to your sekirei. Besides, it was her who attacked me; and I have a code about hitting females."
Kai crossed his arms.
"Then why was there a cut on her arm? A cut that came from a blade," he added. "Before she left, I saw the message she received, which stated to kill you. You have a blade and were the target; therefore, you are a prime suspect."
Jacob whistled impressed and then started laughing.
"Seriously, you should be in the Forensics with those observations. But I'm afraid you need a little more practice."
Kai shook his head no, making Jacob confused.
"I said you were a prime suspect, not the prime suspect."
Kai pointed at Himeko.
"The sekirei with the double-edge sword is the prime suspect."
Jacob looked from her to Kai.
"And what makes you say that? Taki here has a knife as well; how do you know it wasn't her?"
"You just told me," Kai responded.
"Huh?" everyone said.
"You just told me you would never hit a girl and that Taki wields a knife. You wouldn't hit Uzume, and Taki's knife wouldn't leave a big enough mark. By that logic, the girl with the big sword is the culprit. Plain and simple," Kai elaborated. Everyone processed Kai's analysis, resulting in Jacob laughing again.
"Jacob, who is this guy?" Taki asked. Jacob stopped laughing to answer her question.
"His name is Kai Sasaki; and he is another wielder like myself."
"Aww, he's so cute," Himeko spoke up. Jacob sweat dropped a little.
"I bet he gets that a lot."
"I agree with her; he is kinda cute," Taki replied.
"Seriously? You too Taki?" Jacob asked. They giggled at each other. Jacob just ignored them and looked back at Kai, only to see Ichiya charging at him.
"Ichiya, what are you doing?"
She jumped at Kai and came down with a megaton kick. Kai moved back as the ground vibrated from the impact. Ichiya didn't let up and went after him. Swiftly, she launched kick after kick, but Kai used his lightning eyes to slow them down and blocked them. Ichiya went for the high kick as ducked, and then the leg sweep. Kai performed a front flip over her, landing perfectly behind her. He then turned around and grabbed her kick.
"Hm, not just cute, strong too," Ichiya stated. Kai blushed a little and released her. He looked at Jacob.
"I won't bother getting back you since it was between sekirei. But you should know that I've found our brother. Turns out he was resting in the place we first fought.
"I see. And now you're training him. I can't wait to test him," Jacob replied. Kai didn't say anything and returned to the inn. When he opened the door, Akitsu and Kochou greeted him in their respective white and purple maid outfit. They bowed, showing off their impressive cleavages and making Kai blush red.
"Welcome back master," they stated standing tall again.
"Uh, um, uh, I'm…back girls," Kai stuttered.
"Dinner is almost ready master; shall we journey to the dining room?" Akitsu asked.
"Or shall I help scrub your back as we bathe?" Kochou suggested. Kai was thinking in his head which choice to go with, sliding to the bathing idea; but BORBORYGMI! His stomach roared out loud. Kochou started giggling while Akitsu smiled. Kai looked down embarrassed with red cheeks.
"I'll go with dinner first," he responded. The three was about to head inside; but they heard a stampede rushing and found Musubi hauling ass back to the inn with Tsukiumi right behind. Both had several over occupancy bags in their grasps. Kai and his girls quickly moved out of the way, seeing Musubi burst through the doors with Tsukiumi lagging behind.
"I am the victor!" Musubi cheered. Tsukiumi was panting heavily.
"Curses; I can't believe I lost."
Musubi giggled.
"Running is one of my specialties."
The two headed further inside with Akitsu and Kochou walking behind them. Kai stayed behind, looking for Minato. He didn't see him, but he saw Miya approaching.
"If you're looking for Minato, he went out to do some thinking."
"I see. I was just wondering," Kai replied. Miya giggled with her hand over her mouth.
"Tell me Kai; how close would you say you and Minato are?"
Kai stroked his chin.
"I feel we're more like brothers. He was my first friend here in japan. We get along so well and stick by each other so much that even his mom considers me as her own child."
"Hmm, I see; then there's something I would like you to promise me," Miya said.
"What is it?" Kai asked back.
"I'm sure you're going to learn a lot more about sekirei and your blades, and since you and Minato possess a blade with demonic powers, there may be an event where those powers will control you. So, I want you to promise me Kai that you will look after each other and keep your powers in check," Miya told him. Kai gave her a warm smile and nodded.
"I promise to keep everything in check. I'll help Minato gain control of his power."
She smiled at him.
"And since my demon aura doesn't affect you and Minato now, I can only be stricter."
Kai just blinked at her, waiting for her to continue.
"I know you had sex with Uzume before coming here."
His eyes widened as his face turned completely red. She giggled at his embarrassment.
"While it was respective of you to do it at your house, I hope you don't forget the rules here and try the same thing."
Kai repeatedly shook his head.
"I won't violate the inn's rule; you have my word. And if it comes to that point, then I will plan out how to go about it."
Miya nodded her head.
"Thank you Kai; it's rare to find ashikabis like you and Minato. Remember to spend more time with your sekirei."
Miya walked back inside after Kai nodded his head. He looked at the sky, seeing the sun vanishing over the horizon. In the park, Minato was doing the exact same thing. He was walking through the trails, seeing the sky turn dark and the moon rise. He got to a bench around the fountain and sat down. Leonidas was in his hand as his wielder admired his designs. There was a nice cool breeze blowing, making Minato's hair flow with it. He looked down at Leonidas and smiled.
"It's strange; at first I wanted to become a doctor. That's the whole reason I came to Tokyo. I never thought I would end up being the wielder of a powerful enchanted sword and be forced to fight in a game to the death."
"Life is full of vicissitudes don't you think?" someone asked.
"Huh?" Minato said as he looked towards the voice. That's when his eyes expanded at his findings. Sitting on the edge of the fountain was an incredibly gorgeous woman. She was wearing a very short Chinese dress that shows off a lot of cleavage and her belly button. Her hair was long, purple, and it flowed majestically in the wind. Minato was mesmerized by her beauty, his fixated on her form. She noticed his gaze and gave him a warm smile. She stood up and proceeded over to him.
"Do you mind if I sit next to you?" she asked. Minato snapped out of his thoughts.
"Huh? Oh! Yeah, I'm sorry about that," he apologized as he scooted over. The woman sat down next to him and made herself comfortable. Minato's eyes instantly froze when his eyes unintentionally went to the woman's incredibly large breasts.
'Holy crap! And I thought Musubi was big; but this definitely takes the cake.' Minato thought. He then realized what he thought and mentally panicked.
'Wait; why am I gawking at some random woman's breasts. When did I turn into such a pervert?'
Their eyes met, and the woman smiled at him, making Minato turn red and look away. She couldn't help but giggle at him.
"Am I making you uncomfortable?"
He shook his head no.
"It's not that; it's just, you're so beautiful," he complimented. She giggled again.
"Thank you; that's really sweet of you to say. So tell me, what were you doing out here?"
"Nothing really; just doing a little reminiscing," Minato replied.
"Is that so? It's good to do a little reminiscing every once in a while."
"Yeah, so why are you here? I mean what's your reason for being here?" Minato asked back nervously. The woman looked at the night sky.
"I felt an enticing wind calling out to me," she replied.
"An enticing wind?" Minato repeated.
"Yes, it was calling out to me; it had this warm breeze, so soothing. I just had to follow it. After doing so, I ended up here."
Minato was amazed at her words. He analyzed the woman, feeling something out of the ordinary.
"I hope you don't mind me asking, but are you a sekirei?"
She didn't respond, but instead laughed.
"How did you know?"
"I felt something unique about you," Minato replied. She giggled.
"Do you treat all the ladies like this?"
Minato blushed again.
"Hmhmhm, seeing as you know I'm a sekirei, are you an ashikabi?"
"Uh, yes, I am. I'm the ashikabi of four sekirei," Minato replied. "Speaking of which, they're probably wondering where I am."
"Your sekirei, do you care a lot about them? What do they mean to you?" the woman questioned. A rejuvenating smile appeared across his lips as he thought about his four girls.
"I care a lot about my sekirei. They mean the entire world to me. At first, I was scared about the sekirei plan because I was afraid that they would be taken away from me. But after spending more time with them, I came to realize that they would only be taken away from me if I just let it happen. I cherish my sekirei will all my heart. Even though I'm not the most reliable person and they clearly deserve better, they still love me; and seeing them happy makes me truly happy, because I know I've done something right."
The woman was stuck in awe at his speech. She felt every emotion contained within those words. Minato scratched the back of his head.
"I'm sorry for rambling."
She shook her head no.
"That was far from rambling. Rambling doesn't touch the heart like you just did.
Minato couldn't help but blush.

The two stood up.
"Before you go, would you mind telling me your name please? Mine is Minato; it's a pleasure to meet you."
She giggled once more as she suddenly kissed Minato's cheek, making his eyes widen and cheeks brighten. When her lips departed, she smiled at the flushed ashikabi.
"My name is Kazehana; I know we'll me again," she stated. Kazehana suddenly disappeared behind a barrier of pink petals, leaving a still flushed Minato behind. He placed his hand over the cheek Kazehana kissed.
'Life. Is. SWEET!'
