10. Chapter 10

Chapter Ten

Kagome placed her water down at her desk, settling into her chair and pushed back her wet hair before opening her laptop. Three messages from Sango popped up, all three of them making Kagome smile.

"Sango,

I am so happy to hear you are having a great time at your family's convention for self-defense! I never knew your family worked with the police force, so it was pleasant to find that out. You have to get me one of those key chains, they are so adorable!

Yeah I've been okay, though I'll admit it's a bit rough, but not as much as when I first got here. Miroku has been keeping me busy with talk at lunch . . . but even with that I could hear the rumors about me. . . But you know what Sango it's okay. I can handle these people, I may not be as fit as them but I got into this school fair and square.

Anyway onto some concerning news- Kikyo-sama broke her leg! I can't believe it, why didn't you tell me how accomplished she was? Or that she and Sesshomaru-sama were partners? Well guess who got to be his new partner, yep me. I won't lie I'm not very happy about it considering that he might as well be a Mr. Elsa, the king of all frost. Might as well have gotten frostbite in class, but when it came to our training . . . he's not mean per say, just assertive like Kikyo-sama was.

Opps it's getting late and I need to get to bed, I'll talk to you tomorrow!

And with that she hit send and stretched, pulling away from the chair to turn off the light for the night.

A/N: Yes it's really short but I have to get back to my IB classes. Now I want to make some things straight for some people that do not understand the story;

1) Kagome did take a test to get into the school, it wasn't just on her family's name. She is very smart, she just is not physically on par at the beginning but that is part of her development.

2) Please keep your demeaning comments to yourself, If you don't like Kagome than okay, don't read this story. She is growing as a person, not everyone is not clumsy- which last time I checked in the beginning of the actual show she was. And this academy is for the best of the best but not everyone that comes knows what they are doing thus it being a SCHOOL. Yes she doesn't know all of her miko abilities but the last time I checked, oh wait I'm the author of this, her mother was not supportive of her abilities, and so it is part of her development.
