A.N.: Thank you to everyone who reviewed! I hope you like this chapter it's starts right back up from where I left off last time. Oh and if you were wondering where the poop in the shower came from, it was my older brother who did that and I had just found out about it and thought it was hilarious, but don't worry he was in like the 5th grade not like 20 or anything. *Annabeth's P.O.V.*

I was asleep at 2:00 in the morning. Key word: was. I awoke to my phone ringing. It was still on the default tone. I didn't have enough time in my day to change it. I grabbed it off my nightstand and looked at the screen: Percy. I sat up quickly and answered it.

"Hello" I said into my phone.

"Annabeth my dad he, I was in his room. I fell asleep and then there was a long beep and nurses came in and woke me up and told me I had to leave and the heart rate monitor thing was just a line and on T.V. that means their dead and I don't know what to do I need you here, I can't breathe, I'm freaking out. I don't know what to do Annabeth." He said his voice getting shaky, "Can you come here? I need you here."

"Don't worry Perce. I'll be there soon. Just try to calm down." I said.

"Don't hang up. I...I need to talk to you" He said in a cracked voice.

"Okay I won't. Just think of happy things. Football, um...swimming, anything Perce." I said while grabbing my boots and slipping them on my feet over my sweatpants. I ran down stairs and grabbed my mom's keys off of the hook and scurried over to my mom's office in our house and grabbed a pen and wrote a quick message and left it on the kitchen table.

"I can't think of anything else." He said his voice shaking.

"Okay um. I'll tell you a story." I said while running into the garage and opening the car door and pressing the garage door button and turning the car on.

"Okay." was all I heard on the other end.

I started to back out while I told him the story of Cinderella. Maybe not the best story, but a story no less. I finally got to the hospital when I was about to finish telling it. I ran inside and continued to talk and ran right past the lady at the desk heading straight for the elevator and to the 5th floor.

"And they lived happily ever after." I said finishing the story and the elevator finally dinged and I started down the hall to try and find Percy.

"Can you tell me another?" He asked into the phone.

"Maybe in person. I'm on the 5th floor are you still in the same place?" I asked.

"Yeah in the waiting room." He said sniffling a little.

"Okay I'm going to hang up, but I will be there in a second."

"Okay." He said.

I hung up and ran over to the waiting room to find Percy standing in the middle of the room pacing with fresh tear tracks on his face.

"Percy." I said while running up to him and hugging him. He was squeezing the life out of me, but I didn't care. My arms clung to his neck and I was pretty sure that I would never let go and I knew that if he could he probably wouldn't either, but I slowly did and looked up at Percy. I wiped the tears from his face and sat down on the couch with him. I told him to lay down and that we had to wait and he made me promise him and the nurses that if anything, anything at all happens with his dad, that we would wake him and tell him. We all promised and he laid down with his head in my lap and his feet curled up trying to go to sleep. My hands absentmindedly went through his hair; running them all around and just making it messier.

He finally fell asleep about a half an hour later. I tried to stay awake, but I ended up falling asleep in the next ten minutes after he did. I awoke to a nurse with big brown eyes trying to get me and Percy up. Percy was clawing at my pants trying to stay asleep.

"Percy. Wake up." I said in his ear. He opened his eyes slowly and then like everything that happened yesterday and this morning came crashing down on him and he shot up and looked at the nurse and said, "What happened? What's going on?"

"We got your dad back, he's awake ,but he could only have minutes. It's unpredictable right now, but you better hurry." she said while backing up and Percy pulled me up with him and I said, "Maybe you should just go. I don't think he would want me in there for his last few minutes." Percy nodded and let go of my hand and followed the nurse into the room.

*Percy's P.O.V.*

I walked slowly behind the nurse and into the room. There was only one other nurse in there and she said, "He was asking for you, but you must hurry he might only have a few minutes.

I nodded stiffly and walked over to his side sitting in the chair next to his bed.

"Percy" My dad breathed out in a cracked voice. He looked like he had aged 20 years. He looked so old and weak. He lifted his hand weakly out to me and I took it looking sadly at him.

"I know that I have failed you as a father, but I want you to know that I still love you and always will." He said with his voice trembling a little.

"I know I love you too and I don't hold it against you, what you did before. I forgive you." I said with tears streaming down my face.

"Thank you Percy...You...you don't know how much that means to hear that." He said with a slight smile.

I smiled back and said, "But what about your business? What if I'm not ready at 25? What if I'm not good enough to live up to your name?"

"Don't worry, son. It's in your blood. You will be able to do it. I have faith in you." He said his voice cracking yet again. I looked at his heart beat monitor that was becoming fainter and fainter.

"I understand dad." I said giving him a sad look.

My father looked up and the monitor, squeezed my hand, and said, "Percy, I don't have much time, but I wanted to tell you that I love your mother and you. I want you to make sure that Paul takes good care of her."

"I will." I said blinking back tears.

"I love you, Percy." was all he said before the monitor turned into a long loud beep.

"Dad?" I shook his hand. "Dad?" He didn't answer and I knew this was it, but I didn't feel anything. I was numb. A nurse came in and announced his death. 2:55 A.M. Tuesday, December 29, 2013.

A nurse helped me up and led me outside the room to Annabeth who was on the couch waiting for me. She ran up to me and hugged me, bring me out of my numbness enough to hug her back.

*Annabeth's P.O.V.*

I hugged Percy and made him sit down on the couch while Sally sorted out the funeral arrangements. I rubbed his back as he put his head in his hands. He sat back after a few minutes and looked at me.

"Thank you for coming." He said.

"It was no problem. You would have done the same for me." I said rubbing his shoulder.

He nodded and mumbled something like, "Yeah."

Sally came back a few minutes later and told us that we should probably head home. She asked if I wanted to go to the funeral on Friday. I agreed and thanked her. Sally nodded and we all walked together down to the cars.

We all took the elevator down to the lobby and went out the front doors where the cars were. Percy walked me to mine and hugged me goodbye. I rubbed his shoulder again and said, "Remember if you need me at all, just call. I'll come."

He smiled sadly at me and hugged me again. I let go and walked over to the front seat of my mom's car. I waited for Percy to get to his car before heading home. I made it back at around 3:30 and my mom was still asleep thankfully.

I crumbled up the note that I had left and threw it away. I put the keys back on the hook and walked as silently as I could to my room. I took off my boots, my jacket, and put my phone down. I climbed into bed and laid down with my head facing the ceiling. It took forever, but I finally fell asleep, thinking about how lucky I was not to have gotten caught by my mother.

*PAGEBREAK*

It was already Friday after the funeral, I had skipped school to go and was actually surprised my mom let me. Percy and I were currently spread out on my bed talking. He seemed a lot better than before, but not exactly happy.

"I can't believe so many people showed up. I mean I barely knew anyone." Percy said talking towards the ceiling.

"I know. He has a lot of co-workers." I said,

"Yeah, I know. It was weird with so many strangers coming up to me, that had known my dad for so long." He said.

I just laid there for a second and then sat up and looked at him. "Do you want to do something later?"

He looked over at me. "Like what?"

I looked around the room and then back at him. His eyes were trained on me. "Um... we could go to The Zone."

"The what?" he said raising an eyebrow at me.

"It's this new place for teenagers. They have games and food and it's like a bar sort of thing, but for teens. It just opened up last Friday." I said.

"Yeah. That would be fun." He said. "Would...would it just be the two of us?"

I blushed and looked away for a second, "Well...um...if you want to invite Thals and Nico, I would be fine with that."

I saw him smirk at me and said, "Well if your too scared to be alone with me, then..."

I scoffed at him and punched him in the arm. He winced in pain. "Okay, okay. Just invite them."

I smirked at him and dialed Thalia's number and put her on speaker.

"Hello?" I heard a laughing Thalia.

"Hey Thals it's Annabeth and Percy's with me your on speaker." I said holding the phone in my hand for Percy to heard, but close enough for me to speak into it.

"Oh so what's-" I heard a giggle and then a hushed voice say, "Nico stop it."

I looked at Percy with my mouth dropped open. He looked the same and sat up quickly looking at the phone.

"Sorry," She cleared her throat and it sounded like she closed the door, "So um what's up?"

I smiled a little and said, "Me and Percy want to go to The Zone and we were wondering if you and Nico wanted to come with us?"

"Oh, yeah. I heard that place rocks. When?" She asked.

"One sec." I said. I put my hand over the phone. "What time?" I asked Percy.

"Uh...6. We can eat dinner there." I nodded and uncovered my hand.

"6ish." I said to Thalia.

"Okay. Sounds cool. I'll see you there." Thalia said before ending the call.

"Okay you heard her laugh and then talk to Nico. Right?" I asked.

Percy nodded soundlessly. "Um...do you think their dating behind our back?" He asked.

"No. I think Thalia would have told me." I said sure of myself.

"We should call Nico." I nodded and dialed Nico's number.

"Hello?" We heard Nico's voice.

"Hey. Um, I'm with Percy and we were wondering if you wanted to go with us, Thalia included, to that new place, The Zone?"

"Uh...sure. When?" he asked.

"6ish." I said.

"Okay, I'll be there." He said and then hung up the phone.

"So that leaves us and hour." I said to Percy.

"Okay, so what do you want to do?" He asked.

"Um...let's watch TV." I said while getting turning around to get the remote for my nightstand. I turned on my TV that was on my dresser in desk at the foot of my bed. I turned towards it, so I was facing it. Percy did the same right next to me. I changed the channel until The Big Bang Theory showed up. I left it there and Percy looked at me weird. "What? It's funny."

"But, you don't know half the stuff they are saying." He said.

"I know. That's the funny part." I said rolling my eye's at him.

He didn't say anything and started to watch the show. It was the one where Amy was sick and Sheldon had to take care of her because of their relationship agreement. We were at the part when Sheldon had to put Vick's on Amy's chest. I was cracking up. I saw Percy smile a little and nudged him. "See I told you it was funny."

He laughed and looked back at the TV. We kept watching and then Amy ended up admitting to Sheldon that she was faking that she was sick, but explained that she was at first. He then said okay, but he was going to have to punish her. She nodded and he said to get up and he sat on the couch. She put her chin on the armrest with her butt in the air and he spanked her. At that point I was cracking up, as was Percy. I had rolled over onto my back accidently knocking Percy off the bed, making me laugh even more. Percy was still laughing on the floor with a red face. He finally stopped with a big, "Phew!"

"See I told you. Didn't I?" I said looking down at him.

"Yeah, yeah." He said getting up and back on the bed. I looked back at the TV to see that it was just about to change to another show that I didn't know, so I changed it to TeenNick. Zoey101 was on, one of my old favorite shows. The show had just started, so like almost every teenage girl who watches this I started to sing along. I looked at Percy and started to sing," Are you ready?"

He raised his eyebrow at me and then it went into a smirk and started to sing with me. When it was done I was laughing with him and I laid back onto my back.

"What time is it?" I asked.

"I don't know? Um...probably like 5:40." He said looking over at me.

"Okay. Can your mom give us a ride?" I asked.

"Um...well she is with Paul. They're going out to dinner tonight." He said with a smile.

"Okay well my mom is still at work. She had a late meeting." I said with a frown.

Percy sat up and hovered a little over me and said, "Well, you know how two things equal a whole. Like a...um...well, you know what I mean." he said. I laughed and said, "Continue."

"Um, well I have a Permit and you have a permit, so that equal's a license." He said with a smile.

"Percy. No, we can't. We'll get into trouble and I don't even have a car." I said looking at him.

"Yeah, but I do." Percy said with a smile.

"But your 15. How do you have a car?" I asked.

"Come on. I'll show you." he said jumping off the bed and offering his hand. I took it and led me out of my room and down the steps. We went out the front door and I grabbed the key off of the hook and locked the door. Percy led me to his house and opened the garage. What I saw made my jaw drop. It was a black Lamborghini Aventador, Percy's favorite car.

"What...how?" I asked staring at it.

Percy laughed a little and said, "It was...uh my father's."

"Oh." I said looking over a Percy's face.

He looked at it sadly then shook his head and cleared his throat. He pulled the keys out of his pocket and pressed a button. The door slid up and looked like it was just going to come off. It was handing by the top corner in the air. I looked over at Percy in awe. He smiled and gestured to the seat I sat down and Percy went to the driver's side and sat down. He pressed the button again and the doors closed. Percy pressed a few buttons and then the car started up. Percy smirked at me and started to back out of the garage. He shut the garage and started out onto the road.

"Okay. I 'm freaking out. Can I drive home?" I asked turning towards him with a smile on my face.

He looked at me like I was crazy, "What? No."

"Awe, come on Percy. Please." I asked begging him.

"Do you know how much this costs?" He asked.

"No." I said not knowing what he meant.

" It cost about $400,000." He said looking over at me.

"Oh...yeah never mind. I don't want to pay for it if I wreck it." I said sitting back.

He laughed and said, "I'll let you drive it, but during the day."

"Really?!" I said getting excited.

"Yeah, but we are not telling Thalia or Nico. They'll want to drive it and I don't trust them." He said seriously.

"Okay. No problem, but what about when you're 16 and you drive this to school?"I asked.

"I'll drive away." He said with a smile.

"Good idea" I said while we pulled up to The Zone. Percy parked in the back where the employees usually parked and opened the doors for us.
"God, I'm never going to get over that." I said.

"I know. Neither am I." Percy said with a smile.

We walked into The Zone together and were surprised at what we saw. It had a bar, a teen bar don't worry, it had game machines, and a dance floor, but that was only the first floor. Percy and I walked up the steps to find something that surprised us even more. Thalia and Nico were already here. They were by the pool tables and Thalia was pushed up against the table with Nico's arms on the pool table blocking her from leaving, but she didn't look like she wanted to leave, not at all. She was laughing and had one hand on his shirt fisting it pulling him close to her. I heard Percy clear his voice and I nudged him. Both of their heads turned and looked at us in shock. Thalia pushed Nico away and stuttered something about Nico thinking there was something in her eye. I just smiled and asked if they wanted to play a game. They nodded and we decided boys verses girls.

"I don't know if that's fair though, cause they know they're going to get their asses kicked." Thalia said while grabbing the blue stuff that you put on the end of your pool stick. The guys just scoffed at her and we started while the guys being their cocky selves said, "Ladies first."

Thalia smiled at that and moved the cue ball to the right side where it was angled as a straight shot to the left corner pocket. She shot the cue ball at the others and ended up knocking two stripes into two pockets. Thalia smirked at them. It was my turn now and I knocked in another ball and it was back to Thalia. I missed the next one on my turn and then it was the guys turn. The guys got in three, so we were still ahead by 1. Thalia knock in 1 leaving us with 2 until the 8 ball. The guys ended up getting in 4 more and were high fiving now. We scowled at them and it was still their turn. Nico missed the pocket barely because Thalia decided to lean down right over the pocket. It was funny how he missed it and it was our turn again. Thalia smirked at them as she grabbed her stick and aimed for the ball. She missed, but it bounced off the wall and ended up knocking in the other ball. Thalia and I high fived and I easily sunk in the next ball. It was Thalia's turn again and she missed the 8 ball barely. The guys smiled and it was Percy's turn. He leaned across the table and grabbed the blue thing. He set up his shot and I stood by the side of the table and ran a finger through my hair. Pushing it back and then letting it fall forward. I usually did this when I was nervous or confused or pretty much for no reason. I saw Percy looking at me and then back at the ball. Before I knew it Percy had shot the ball and missed. The cue ball went straight into the back pocket. I looked at him shocked. It was one of the easiest shots that I had seen tonight and he missed. Thalia smiled and didn't seem fazed by it, neither did Nico who had his head in his hands. Percy just scowled a little and Thalia took the cue ball out and set up the shot again and Thalia made it in one quick shot. She smiled and screamed with me. I looked over at the guys, Percy was smiling at us and Nico still had his head in his hands.

"Okay, boys what's next?" Thalia asked,

We played games all night. We played Dance Dance Revolution, random games like Pacman, hunting games, and others. Thalia and I won most of the games, but Percy and Nico ended up winning the hunting games and the other shooting games, but not by much. We order food and drinks almost every half an hour. I had about 3 glasses of coke, same with everyone else. Once Thalia order nacho's the first time, Nico ended up getting a some and then me and Percy got hamburgers after them and before I knew it, it was already 10:45 and the place was going to close at 11:00. We said goodbye to the "bartenders" and we waited for Thalia and Nico to leave before Percy took me around back to his car.

We headed back to my house and Percy parked in my driveway. My mom still wasn't home and I sighed knowing she probably got a big project and had decided to work on it and wouldn't be home for awhile. Percy walked me up to my front door and said goodnight and is was a little awkward, but he ended up saying goodnight and was about to walk down the steps. "Why did you throw the pool game?" I asked.

Percy turned around with a small smile on his face, "Oh...uh, who said I threw the pool game?"

"Please, Percy, that was one of the easiest shots and you totally missed." I said while I crossed my arms.

Percy took a step closer and said, "Well...maybe I thought you guys should have won."

"Really? Thalia was trash talking all night and playing dirty. You really wanted her to win?" I asked.

"Okay, no. Maybe I...maybe I just wanted to see you smile." He said taking a step closer.

I blushed and said, "Oh."

Percy laughed and said, "Yeah. Oh."

I punched him in the shoulder and he scooted closer and touched my arm. "Percy?"

"Yeah Annabeth?" he asked with his eyes focused on mine.

"What are we doing?" I asked.

He looked down for a minute and looked back up with a smile, "I don't know."

"Are we friends or more or what?" I asked.

"I don't know. Do you want more?" He asked touching my cheek.

"I don't want to ruin our friendship." I said looking away.

"I know." he said moving his hand off of my face.

"But I want to try. If you do?" I said.

"Yeah, but I think we should take things slow." Percy said looking at me.

"Okay." I agreed.

"I'll see you tomorrow." He said touching my arm again. I nodded and he started to walk back towards his car. I unlocked the front door and went inside. I looked out the window by the door and saw him stop by the passengers door. He turned around and started jogging up to the door. I opened it before he could knock and before I knew it his lips where on mine and we were kissing.

They were still soft and warm like last time. He put his hand in my hair and pushed me back, so we were in my house. Percy shut the door with his hand and kept kissing me as we kept backing up until he had me pressed against the wall before the dining room started. He started to kiss my neck and I moaned bringing me back to reality.

"Wait. Percy wait." He looked back up at me with swollen lips and puppy dog eyes like he had done something wrong.

"I thought you wanted to take things slow?" I asked.

Percy chuckled and said, "Well so much for that. I don't know I just couldn't help it. I had to kiss you."

I laughed a little and he moved a strand of hair behind my ear. "Do you want to go upstairs?"

His eyes widened and I started to stutter, "No-no, I-I meant to watch a movie."

Percy looked a little relieved and said, "Yeah."

I grabbed his hand and started to walk upstairs and he said, "But were no going to watch most of the movie are we?"

I just winked at him and he took the lead pulling me up the steps and into my room. He looked for a movie to play and found a twilight movie. He popped it in and turned off the lights. He turned towards me and put a hand on my cheek and leaned in. I put my hand behind his neck and pulled him down crashing his lips onto mine. My mouth felt like it was on fire. His hands slide down to my waist and my hands went into his hair. He started to walk forward and make me stumble backwards. He laid me down onto the bed and straddled me. He went up for air and looked at me for a moment, his green eyes showed an emotion I've never seen before and his lips were still red and swollen, but he had never looked hotter. He caressed my cheek and brought his lips down to mine. We stayed like this for at least another 10 minutes until I heard Percy's phone ring. His lips came off mine and reached into his back pocket and pressed answer on his phone.

"Hello?" Percy said in a raspy voice.

I couldn't hear the other end, but Percy mouthed "Mom".

"Sorry, sorry. I lost track of time. I'll be home in 5." He said looking around the room.

"Okay. Love you too. Bye." He said closing his phone.

He put his phone in his back pocket and looked back down at me and smiled. "I need to go."

"Okay, but you would kind of need to get off of me." I said.

He blushed and got off of me. He helped me up and I walked him to the front door.

"Were not going to act like nothing happened again, are we?" I asked.

"No, but I don't think we should announce, us yet. Maybe we should just keep it on the down low, so we can get comfortable first." Percy said with touching my cheek.

"Okay, yeah. Sounds good." I said.

"So do you want to go to the movies tomorrow?" He asked.

"Yeah, I'd like that." I said. He smiled and kissed me goodnight. I watched him leave and then walked back upstairs to my room. I sighed happily as I entered my room. I hit the off button on the TV remote and put it on my nightstand. I changed into pajama's and got into bed. I fell asleep a few minutes later thinking about a certain boy with green eyes.
