Summary: Javier Esposito has met the women of his dreams, Skylar-Marie Daniels. But what will happen when secrets from Skylar's past begin to surface. Will his new relationship last when her secrets begin to come to light?

The only thing I own is Skylar, my OC, and the plot of this story.

Updates: I will try to update every few days, but college has started back up again so I will try my best. The latest my updates should come are a week, never longer, and on Fridays.

`~*Chapter 10*~`
§Kevin's POV§
"That's her," she whispered.
"Who?" Beckett and Castle asked at the same time, but it was clearly obvious of who she was talking about. Seeing as Skylar was the only other women directly in her eyesight.
"You know her?" Castle asked, as he pointed to Skylar who was hugging Esposito. We all watched as he kissed her then her getting back on the elevator and it closing.
"Yes," Mr. Blake said. "That's Adam's ex-girlfriend."
"Well, thank you Mr. and Mrs. Blake, we'll be sure to talk to her," Beckett said, as Esposito was walking towards us. She led them past him to the elevator. "You can take your son's body home when you're ready. I call you as soon as I know anything."
Once the Blake's were gone, we all sat down at our desk. In Castle's case, the chair besides Beckett's desk.
"So how was lunch," Beckett asked. Esposito just smiled. I really hope that it wasn't Skylar who did this. It would break Esposito's heart. I could tell that he was already falling in love with her. Fast.
"It was great," he said. "We just grabbed a bite to eat around the corner since she only had an hour for lunch. So how did talking with the Blake's go? Did we get anything new?"
"Oh yes," Castle said, eyeing him p and down. Esposito just looked back at him confused. "We sure did."
"What do you mean?" He asked.
"Nothing," I said quickly, before Castle could say anything else. Knowing him he would tell what we just learned about Skylar. Castle gave me a weird look. "Just that they identified the body as their son and spoke about the weeks leading up to his death. That's all."
"Whatever you say man," he said, as he looked between the three of us. He then got up. "I'm going to get some coffee."
"Why didn't you say anything," Castle asked once he disappeared into the break room. I sighed.
"I don't want to accuse his new girlfriend of being a serial killer without any hard evidence," I said. "Do you know what this would do to him if it's true? I want to be absolutely sure before we tell him."
"Ryan's right Castle," Beckett agreed. "Let's do this right before we say anything. Ryan you do a back ground check for Skylar-Marie Daniels while Castle and I stop by her job."
§Javier's POV§
'Something is going on between those three,' I thought to myself as I watched them talk thru the break room window. 'They are defiantly keeping something from me and I'm going to find out what it is.'
§Beckett's POV§
"This is going to crush Esposito," Castle said as we were on our way to the school were Esposito told us Skylar had just started working at.
"I know," I agreed, nodding. "I really hope it's not her."
Once we made it to the school we spoke with the receptionist about talking to the principle. We were waiting for about five minutes when she called us back over.
"Principal Lane will see you know," she told us, motioning towards the door behind her. Thanking her, we headed into the principal's office. We passed by a little boy had just exited out of the room next to the principal's office. He looked at us wide eyed before hurrying away.
"What can I do for you today detective Beckett?" She asked as she motioned for us to take a seat in the two chairs in front of her desk.
"It's about one of your teachers," I said. She looked confused. Probably wondering why a detective wanted to talk to one of her elementary teachers.
"Which one and why," she asked. 'More like demanded if you ask me', I thought to, myself.
"A new teacher by the name of Skylar-Marie Daniels," Castle said. She looked over to him.
"Why?" She repeated.
"There was a murder," I said. Her eyes widened. "She is not a suspect. We just need you to tell us everything you can about her."
"I met her last week for an interview," she said, as she got up and walked over to the window in her office. She stood there looking out of it as she continued to speak to us. "She clearly passed it seeing as I hired her. She just started yesterday and so far everyone loves her. From her students to the other teachers. She had just graduated from Florida State College…"
"Where one of the murders took place," Castle whispered. I gave him a look, but it doesn't seemed like the principal heard him as she continued on.
"…and moved here right after. She came highly recommended from all of her professors; top of her class in every course. I don't know much else besides that," she finished, turning towards us and retaking her seat. "Who was murdered and how was she involved?"
"Someone from Florida and her name just showed up in the investigation," I said standing. Castle did the same. "It's still an open investigation. If you learn anything else please call."
"I will," she said as she took my card. Castle and I left after that to head back to the precinct.
§Skylar's POV§
"Miss Sky! Miss Sky! Miss Sky!" Jimmy shouted as he ran into the class from the nurse's office. He was such an excitable little boy; get excited over everything. I smiled down at him.
"Yes! Yes! Yes!" I said just as enthusiastically as he did. I put my hands on my thighs and leaned down closer to him.
"I saw! I saw! I saw!" He was jumping up and down at this point.
"Yes! Yes! Yes!" I asked.
"A police officer," he said, eyes wide but smiling none the less.
"Really now?" I asked, curious to why an officer would be at the school.
"Yes, they were going to Principal Lane's office," he said.
"Oh," I said. "Well why don't you go finish playing with the others, Ok?"
"Yes, Miss Sky," I said, before running over to continue playing with his friends.
It was now the end of school and I had just sent the last kid off with their parents. I didn't have any work left to do so I collected my things and headed for home.
Once there I decided to relax and read for a little while before Javier shows up. We had decided at lunch to meet at my place tonight, where we would have dinner and just relax together.
About an hour later there was a knock on the door. Mark the page in my book, I set it down and went to answer the door.
Opening the door, I saw…
