Okay, what I'm dealing with isn't normal, not even for me, and I can process things really really fast when I have adrenaline pumping through my blood. My name is Charlotte Charnel and I have a problem. Okay, so this is how it is, right now I'm being search and destroyed by a three-legged walking gun that can talk, also it can move at the same super-fast speed as me, which is bad because that makes it a giant threat.

"Where are you?" it asks me in a cute kind of voice as it looks for me, and normally I'd just be out there with it, because I can move faster then it, but I can't, because I can't. What in the humanities name do I do here?

I quickly peek my head around the corner of the wall I'm standing behind, what I see in there is a couple portaly walls and floors, a cube, a big red button, a small pit of gooish liquid, and that turret thing. There's also another room off the side at the end of this room, good thing that turret can't see me right now. But basically there isn't anything I can do until I deal with that turret there in the other room. Maybe there's something where I am right now that I can use? Well looking around I see nothing but the door that I came in through, with it's Mineral Everytational Grid thing, there's also another thing I can't quite figure out, it's a square hole in the wall, at floor level, and it has bars going up and down, also side to side, ALSO there's a small breeze when I put my non-Portal gun hand beside this thing. The only thing I can really compare it to is like bullets holes, because it lets air in, but it's nothing like bullet holes.

I guess there's nothing I can use around here. So it's time to think. I could probably use the cube to stop this walking turret. Maybe if I drop the cube down on the turret? Worth a shot.

Just like before I peek around the corner, but this time I shoot an orange portal under the cube, the turret hears the noise that my gun makes and looks my way, I go back behind the wall, but I don't think I was fast enough, the bastard saw me. Okay time to think fast. I turn to corner again, but only for enough time to shoot a blue portal at the ceiling, not fast enough to keep from getting shot at though, good thing I can dodge worth a damn, not like Charlie. I wait for the cube to fall, but it doesn't fall fast enough, because I don't hear the turret stopped yet, plus it's walking my way, cause I can hear the steps it makes getting louder.
"You dirty whore!" I yell out loud, I don't know who I'm yelling at, but it felt good to be able to shout out. Plus that turret already knows where I am, it doesn't matter if I make noise.

Augh! I'm running out of time before I'm about to die! What do I do here!

Escape! Good thing I thought of it too, because my murderer is here, I need to use portals to escape and then deal with this thing when I think of something better. I aim my portal gun at the wall.
"There you are." I hear it say before I shoot a blue portal at the wall to-
*SMACK*
…somehow throw a cube at the turret…where did, okay. That's really weird that a cube flew out of the blue portal I placed on the wall beside the turret and I, but I'm okay with that because it just smacked the turret out of sight and into the room it came from. I look into the room and see that I cube I threw came from that room, I look at my orange portal that I shot without really looking at WHERE I shot it. It looks kind of like I put the orange one on the ceiling RIGHT over top of where I put the first blue one, that kind of explains where the cube came from.

Alright now that I have more time to think I look at the room, the turret isn't moving but I don't want to take any chances, so I pull my pocket knife out of my back pocket and start moving towards the fast moving killing machine. I'm about to stab it a couple times but it slowly starts getting back up. I reflexively kick it into the goo beside me.

"Shutting down…" The thing says as it sinks into the acid goo stuff, and all I can think is 'good riddance' as I sit next to the pit of goo to take a second to slow myself down, the adrenaline is fun and all, but it's really tiring to do for too long all at once like I've been doing.

It takes some time, but now I'm back down to normal speed, and I'm feeling less incredibly tired. I decide to go back to the giant square bullet hole with the bars to give it a better look. I lay on the floor to look through it, and see that there's a portaly wall in there, so I shoot an orange portal at it. I get up and now I'm going through the blue portal beside me. I fall down from the portal onto a sort of walkway thing.

"Hello?" I hear someone say in a turret voice behind me. Well, this is bad, I'm low on energy so I can't run, and I can't gain adrenaline either if I have low energy, so I'm about to get shot to death because I have no cover I can hide behind, plus my orange portal is too high up to go back through. Even worse is that there's no portal walls anywhere in front of me, I've been masterfully outflanked and I have no option but to get shot to death or die from jumping into the bottomless pit under my walkway. Well done computer voice, you beat me. I hold my arms out and up from my sides to show that I've accepted defeat.

"Hello." I hear from behind me again, but it doesn't shoot at me, I wonder why it hasn't shot at me yet. It's clearly outsmarted me, why hasn't it tried to finish me off yet?
"Why aren't you shooting me like every single other turret?" I ask the thing, still not turning around to look at it, in case it changes it's mind.
"Because, I'm different."
