Twilight: Hello everyone. I want to start this little story off with this: I DON'T OWN NARUTO!

Unabashed Gaara/Sakura

Naruto/Hinata

TenTen/Lee

Kurenai/Asuma (obviously. In this fic he isn't dead so *blows raspberry*)

Suna loomed from the desert like a mirage and Sakura was glad to finally arrive. "Ugh I hate the desert." She grunted. "I'm sure Kazekage-sama will have a way for you to refresh yourself before you meet the um prisoner." Juri coughed. Sakura smiled. "That would be nice." She replied gratefully. They were waved through the gates as soon as Sakura's bright pink hair was revealed by Juri taking her hood down. "Kazekage-sama left orders that you're to report to his office as soon as you arrive Sakura-san." The Anbu gate guard said apologetically. "It's fine. I would have gone to see him anyway. I don't know where I'm staying." Sakura laughed.

"You smell like sweat and sand." Gaara greeted with a wrinkled nose. Sakura glared and crossed her arms over her chest. "Well sorry we don't all have the ability to teleport thanks to Shukaku." She snapped. Juri looked horrified that Sakura would address the Kazekage so rudely while Gaara merely shrugged. "You should've been shown to your quarters so you could shower before coming to see me." He said. Sakura growled. "I was told that you wanted me to report as soon as I got here." She replied through clenched teeth. Gaara smirked and looked up at her finally. "Am I making you angry?" He teased. Sakura bared her teeth in what could barely be called a smile. "Not at all Kazekage-sama. Now if you would be so kind as to tell me where I will be staying then I will go there and take a shower before interrogating the prisoner you asked me to interrogate." She replied sweetly. Gaara frowned this time and Sakura felt satisfied that he wasn't happy anymore.

Sakura sighed silently as she was shown to the Sabaku mansion next to the Tower. 'I should have known.' She thought tiredly. "Gaara has been in quite a mood since he left Konoha." A blonde said as she opened the door for the tired pinkette. "Hey Temari." Sakura said tiredly. "You look like something a coyote dragged around the desert." Temari stated. Sakura rolled her eyes. "You're all evil." She replied as she headed to the guest room to shower and dress more appropriately for the desert climate. Temari grinned at her retreating form and shook her head. "Gaara sure can pick them eh Kankuro." She said to her other brother lazily. "Indeed." Kankuro agreed.

Gaara looked up from his paperwork when Sakura was brought back to his office. "I hope you're in a better mood Sakura." He said dryly. Sakura leaned across the desk not caring if anyone else heard her and smirked wickedly. "I'll show you just how much of a better mood I'll be in when I'm finished with this mission." She replied cheekily before straightening up and waiting patiently for him to tell her where she was going. Shukaku had gleefully supplied many images of how Sakura could be put in a better mood and most of them were quite...interesting. Gaara cleared his throat quietly to clear the images and Sakura smirked knowingly.

"The prisoner is in the basement of the Anbu building. It is much like the one in Konoha so don't feel like you need to hold back for fear of damaging or bringing down the building." He said as he stared at her unblinkingly. Sakura nodded. "Good to know just in case he makes me angry." She replied. "Juri-san will show you to the cell. He will also remain with you just in case...things get out of hand." Gaara added. Sakura nodded again. "Alright. Let's get started then. The quicker I interrogate this guy the quicker you can kill him or ship him home." She replied cheerfully.

Ugh sorry the chapter took so long. I've been mega busy and lost inspiration for a bit.
