Guess what I updated again! Its a little present to all those who read, reviewed, followed and favorited this story. It really means a lot to me.
Diclaimer: Nope not mine.
Percy's P.O.V.
Well, that Annabeth girl likes to talk a lot. She's kind of cute when she does. While she was talking to Grover, or actually explaining what he should have already known, I slipped off to the woods again. Now that all of the campers have gone back to the cabin's the woods were completely empty unless you count monsters and other beings of that sort. I sat down next to the creek to think.
Okay, so I have to figure out who stole the bolt first of all. That shouldn't be too hard (sarcasm.) Lets see...who would be smart enough to be able to steal something from a god, the god's best weapon at that? An image of Luke entered my brain. No that's stupid. How could a demigod steal something from the king of the gods? Well he is a son of Hermes who is the god of thieves. Maybe Hermes did it? Ya that would make more sense. But why would he do it?
"Hey kid, stop ignoring the fact that I've been spying on you for the last five minutes. I know that you noticed me." It was true, what this voice said, I had noticed someone spying on me. Finally I let my eyes drift to where the voice was coming from. They landed on none other then Luke himself.
Carefully considering my next statement I said, "Did you steal the master bolt?" My green eyes bored into his eyes. Our gazes were locked and I saw the flashes of emotion through his eyes, fear, panic, anger, only to settle on fear. I noticed the familiar stance that I myself had used so many times when one prepares to run but tries to hide because they know that would only give the opponent what they wanted.
Finally his body relaxed and he looked at the ground where he was busy scuffing the toe of his worn converses. "Ya, I stole the master bolt. I only did it because I thought the gods needed to be shown that their children deserve a little recognition. They're always livin' it up in Mont. Olympus while we, their children, do all their dirty work. I'm tired of it. I want to fight back. You should too. You parent let you suffer for years at an abusive orphanage and now that old, manipulative, centaur Chiron wants you to help the people who basically tried to kill you off. Come on, you have to join me, we can't let them push us all around forever just because they think were their little, disposable pawns." By the end of his little speech our eyes met again this time his were filled with sadness, longing, pain and unshed tears, all things I knew very well.
Carefully I said, "and how are you going to go about showing these gods where they belong?" My voice held just the slightest hint of agreement and I know that it was detected.
Luke's P.O.V.
There was a hint of agreement in his voice I heard it. Is he really siding with me? "Well first of all I intend to show them that we demigods are cunning and sly enough to take their most treasured items with out them knowing it was us. Next I plan on raising Kronos so that he can destroy them. Then I pl-"
I was cut off by his saying, "don't be stupid. If you raise a titan to destroy them it will only prove that we are unable of destroying them ourselves. The stealing from them is good very good. Have you stolen anything else?"
He has got to be joining me! "A matter of fact I have. I also stole Hades helm of darkness. All the gods are blaming him so no one will listen to him when he tries to inform them." At this point the boy was giving me an approving smile. "What do you think we should do next?"
"First of all I never said I was with you and if I do join you we will be equal otherwise I will kill you." I shivered at the sincerity in his voice but I only nodded my head to show my agreement to his conditions. "Very well," he continued, "We should continue to rob the gods of the precious toys all the while getting other half bloods to join in our cause. Then we should point out the gods' weakness and there will be nothing they can do because they no longer have any weapons to use against us." He reached out his hand and we shock on the agreement.
Together we headed back towards camp when I heard the boy say, "I heard Tartarus is a very nice place this time of year. Maybe the gods would like to take a vacation."
Did I gain a valuable partner or twisted, deranged manic?
I thought that was a good place to end it for now. I was going to write more but this just felt right but hey at least I gave you more. Wow I did not expect that. Like honestly I was going to have Percy run off to tell Chiron, guess that didn't happen. Oh well I just kinda write and whatever ends up on the page is what my twisted mind liked better. I hope you didn't hate it. Please review and make suggestions. Thank you for reading. Over and out.
