The house creaked on its foundation, settling into its new position and groaning against the bend. Sam stood silently on the porch watching for any sign of movement within the house.
Inside Bethany Cooper sat on the couch watching a special on cooking. Sam could see her through the window's curtains. He slowly turned the lock of the door with his pick kit and let himself in silently.
Mrs. Lucas was out for the night putting Mr. Lucas and their son in the moroi's charge. She sat stone still as Sam tip toes his way to the room. When he reached the doorway he heard a cold distinctive laugh.
"Well, well, well, turns out you aren't so stupid after all. I applaud you." The figure said from the couch. Sam froze before taking a defensive stance.
"It wasn't easy, had to do some research back to Alaska." Sam confessed. The moroi laughed.
"I always knew it would be that. I'm so glad I was there to watch that stupid bitch watch her husband waste away…oh by the way, she was a screamer." The moroi laughed. Sam set his jaw firmly and waited for her to attack. She didn't. "Come sit Sam, I won't hurt you."
"I prefer to stand, thank you." Sam snapped.
"Oh, testy, testy. Now, come on, don't be rude… be a good little boy Sammy." She said turning to face him. Sam gasped at the sight of the girl's face.
It was ashen gray, worn and wrinkled like hundred year old leather. Her deep, round, sunken in eyes stared up at him glowing hot red. She smiled revealing a mouth full of fangs similar to the familiar vampire's.
"Didn't your mother ever teach you not to stare?" She snickered, "Oh… wait…" As she laughed her figure flickered and grew into a younger woman Sam's age. "Better?" She said licking her lips seductively.
"I want you to change Dean and the others back." Sam said threateningly.
"Oh Sammy, now… I just can't do that honey. You know why." She smiled, her once red eyes not a bright sexy shade of green.
"Now." Sam yelled.
"Shh! You'll wake the children!" She laughed. Sam's nostrils flared in anger. "Here's what I'll do… I'll stay right here while you and your widdle brother get out of town and I won't kill you. Deanie pie will have a few days until it'll be like he wasn't even bore at all. Peaceful, simple, painless." She smiled.
"Or… I could kill you here and now, and everything goes back to normal."
"Oh Sammy… I'd love to see you try… I heard the only way you kill anything is by sleeping with them." She grinned. Sam swallowed back a yell. "I gotta admit, it's tempting." She whispered her eyes raking over his body. Sam smiled through his bluff. She locked her lips smiling.
"I'm going to kill you." Sam smiled.
"Oh? Alone? Ah I forgot, partners at home with a case of diaper rash… eesh." She smiled from the couch.
"Say Hello to my little friend, bitch!" Gabe yelled dropping from the ceiling, from where he had been perched. The moroi leaped up from her seat but it was too late, the willow stake was drove deep into her throat. She looked at Gabriel and Sam in shock, clutching at her neck before releasing a high pitched shriek.
Her body exploded into flames and burned instantly to ash. Her figure was reduced to her true age until she herself crumbled into a pile of dust.
"Hell yeah! We kicked some ash! Up top!" Gabriel exclaimed waiting for Sam's high five. Sam caught Gabriel's proud expression and smiled before high fiving.
