/Chapter 10, Golden Gate. (Part Two)/
/Odd killed the RPG teams as the group and soldiers advanced to a gate/
"Come on you bastards! A few more yards and it's ours!" said Sam
/The group saw Raptor 1 get hit with an RPG, he exploded moments later/
"Raptor 1 is down!" said Cpt. Enheart
"Keep pushing!" said Connor
/The group finished off the KPA soldiers/
"Area clear!" shouted Yumi
"Form up! South gate!" shouted Sgt. Keyes
/The group met at the gate/
"Hernandez, get that gate open now!" said Cpt. Enheart
"Yes sir!" said Pvt. Hernandez
/Hernandez opened the gate, the group ran in to see an empty courtyard that had a tower for the bridge at the other side, along with two 'empty' KPA barracks/
"Hold this position!" said Sgt. Keyes
"Something's wrong... Where the hell are they?" asked Jacobs
"I know... Everybody be careful" said Ulrich
/Everybody started walking towards the courtyard. Then they went wide eyed as the T-99 crashed through a wall and killed several American soldiers/
"TANK!" shouted Pvt. Hernandez
"Get to cover!" shouted Sam
"Circle around to the right!" said Connor
/The group took cover as Sam, Connor, and Jacobs ran to the right, through a area that covered them with troop transports and crates/
"We need to get our hands on something to kill that tank!" said Connor
"How do you suggest we do that?!" asked Jacobs
/The three of them heard loud bangs/
"RPG! Across the yard!" shouted Odd
/The three fighters looked at each other/
"Get that RPG!" said Sam
/Sam, Jacobs, and Connor saw a KPA barracks building/
"I'll go first" said Connor
/Connor, Jacobs, and Sam ran into the barracks (In that order), to see several KPA soldiers taking cover/
"OH SHIT!" shouted Jacobs
"KILL THEM!" shouted Sam
/The fighters quickly killed the soldiers as Cpt. Enheart ran to them/
"Into the next building! GO!" shouted Cpt. Enheart
/The fighters ran through the barracks as the tank fired. The shell hitting the wall and blowing it up. Then they ran outside and into the nearby KPA building. They saw five KPA soldiers, one of them with an RPG/
"There he is! Get that RPG!" shouted Connor
"We need it to blow up that tank!" said Jacobs
/Sam fired at the RPG soldier as Connor and Jacobs killed the others. Then Jacobs ran over and grabbed the RPG/
"We won't last five minutes against that armor, unless you take it out!" said Connor
/Jacobs fired a RPG round at the tank. The round hit it, but didn't destroy it/
"HIT IT AGAIN!" shouted Yumi
/Jacobs fired off another round, and finally destroyed the tank/
"Hoo-rah!" shouted Cpt. Enheart
"Warpath. Enemy T-99 is scrap metal" said Sgt. Keyes
"Copy. Prepare to receive additional elements from 40th ID" said Warpath
"Form up! We're gonna set up a new command post in the quad!" said Sgt. Keyes
/The resistance fighters and the soldiers met at the base of the north tower/
"Connor? Where are you guys? We're making our way towards the bridge with the 185th" said Aelita
"We got blown a little off course. We'll see you up there
/The group saw a ladder that led to a walkway, high up on the north tower/
"C'mon, we're gonna have to fight our way up the tower" said Jacobs
"Great..." said Odd, flatly
/The group started climbing up the ladder, leaving the American soldiers to guard the perimeter. They got to the top and saw a small weapons cache/
"Stock up while you can" said Connor
/The group noticed a large amount of C4 in a crate/
"I'll grab the C4, and I'll use it when we need it" said Jacobs
"Copy" said Yumi
/Jacobs grabbed several blocks of C4, then the group started moving again. They then saw a lone KPA soldier looking at the city/
"He's mine" said Ulrich
/Ulrich ran up to the soldier, then he stabbed him and pushed him off of the walkway, and into the water/
"Nice one" said Odd
/The group started running, and then saw over a dozen KPA soldiers on the walkways/
"KPA!" said William
/The group took cover as the KPA soldiers started shooting at them. Ulrich noticed two soldiers on the overhead, about to repel down/
"Enemies on the overhead!" said Ulrich
/Connor, and Yumi fired at the soldiers. They killed them and saw their bodies fall onto the walkway/
"Nice hit!" said Sam
/Eventually, the group killed the KPA soldiers/
"That's the last of 'em. Now lets move!" said Connor
/They ran up the walkway that was along the side of the tower, and then they saw Alcatraz Island, with green flare smoke going from it, into the sky/
"This is SEAL Team 1, popping victory smoke. Alcatraz has been secured. I repeat: We have taken the rock!" said SEAL leader
/The group ran into the north tower. They saw several KPA soldiers, but put them down quickly/
"Everyone keep moving! We need to get to the top and regroup with everyone!" said William
"Got it!" said Sam
/The group ran onto a overlook, and saw several KPA soldiers across from them/
"OH SHIT!" shouted Yumi
/The group took cover, then watched as an American attack helicopter came, and killed the KPA soldiers/
"Hold your fire! That chopper's one of ours!" said Connor
/The group watched as the helicopter killed the last soldier. But then the helicopter was hit with an RPG, and destroyed/
"Great..." said Odd
/The group continued running along the walkway. They noticed several American artillery guns in the distance/
"Firebase Actual. Firebase Bravo. This is Sierra Actual. Fire for effect! Ten rounds, hard targets. Grid 5, Quebec, Victor, Juliet, Four-Five-Niner. Over" said Sierra Actual
"Copy Sierra Actual. OPICM in effect. Ten rounds" said Firebase Bravo
/The group ran around one of the tower supports, and saw another big group of KPA soldiers. The soldiers started firing at the group as they took over/
"Shots out" said Firebase Bravo
/The group heard several loud bangs coming from the artillery guns. Then they heard the shells land on the bridge/
"You think the KPA has a lot of guys up there?" asked Odd
"Yep!" said Yumi
/The group (eventually) fought their way through the soldiers. They then started running up another walkway/
"Adjust fire. Direction 750. Add 50. Right 75. Over" said Sierra Actual
"Adjusting" said Firebase Bravo
/The group met by an entrance of the tower/
"Toss a grenade in there!" said Sam
/Odd and Ulrich each tossed a frag grenade into the room, killing all of the KPA inside of it. The group then ran into the room/
"Bravo, end mission. Angel Island comm station is destroyed. Estimate 15-plus casualties. Out" said Sierra Actual
/The group started running up another flight of stairs/
"Great. More stairs. Let's go" said Connor
/The group got to the top of the stairs, and ran across another room/
"Warpath, this is Romeo 4-4. Our position's been overrun! The LT is KIA! Multiple wounded! We need CASEVAC immediately! We can not hold the Bay Bridge!" said Romeo 4-4
/The group killed two KPA guards, and ran out of a door/
"Nearly there" said William
/The group ran outside and saw several US Navy destroyers in the bay/
"Five navy destroyers have broken through the San Diego blockade. The USS John Paul Jones, and Milius are en-route to help secure the bay" said Warpath
/The group continued to fight their way through the underbelly of the bridge. Then they finally got to a ladder that would lead them to the top/
"Follow me up" said Connor
/Connor started climbing up the ladder. The group followed one-by-one, until they got to the top/
"Aelita, we're on the bridge!" said Jacobs
"We're all at the entrance. The convoy's right behind us." said Aelita
/The group made it to the top. And then looked down at the water/
"Damn. That's a long way up..." said Connor
/The group then started running towards the road/
