Disclaimer: Still don't own anything...wish I did though.

Author's Notes: Okay, some newer stuff. We have the write-up for Bomber's best friend, occasional enemy, and partner-in-chaos….SLAPSTICK!

Name: Nicholas DeYorke (aka Slapstick)

Sex: Male

Age: 23

Known Contacts and Affiliations:

Emily DeYorke (Grandmother...caution: do not approach)

Anna DeVries (Employer)

Bomber (occasional partner/enemy)

Lance "Badass" Stryker

Major-General William Edicott, USMC (former commanding officer)

Powers: Extreme Regeneration, Enhanced Reflexes, Teleportation

Regeneration- Though not quite up to the level of Bomber, Slapstick is capable of healing from even the most traumatic of wounds (he even survived having a gaping hole in his chest that pretty much cored him). While he can be gunned down, he will get up and go after the people who shot him (which is why they try to dispose of his body quickly after he loses consciousness).

Enhanced Reflexes- Like Bomber, he also has enhanced reflexes and is probably more dextrous. Combined with his combat skills, particularly with blades and guns, this makes him one of the more dangerous Elites in the business. It has been rumored that he actually fought Totentanz to a draw.

Teleportation- In addition to his Regenerative and enhanced reflex abilities, Nick is capable of teleporting to various distances. He can do short "quick-ports" when he has line of site on a target, but he has to concentrate if he's focusing on a long distance on a location that he does not have line of sight. In order to make those "long distance" jumps, he has to have been to that location before and be familiar with its surroundings.

Personality: Cocky, crazy, sociopathic, and a decent ballroom dancer. Nicholas DeYorke is a sociopath who will pretty much kill anyone if the money's good. However, despite those qualities, he has a few personality quirks. He is actually quite friendly to most people and even comes across as likable to people who aren't a target or haven't pissed him off. Though he says he has no friends, he is loyal to Bomber, USMC Major General Edicott, and Lance Stryker.

History:

We do know that Nicholas was the son of Victoria DeYorke (a teleporting assassin known as Wraithe). His father's identity is unknown. Victoria died when Nicholas was three years old. She left her son with her mother, Emily DeYorke, before fleeing New York. Victoria's remains were found a few days later outside of Metroville, California. Witnesses stated that they saw what appeared to be "glowing cloud of blue lightning" in the area. When they made it to the scene, they found her body ripped in half, burned at the areas where it had been torn apart.

For the next few years of his life, Nicholas was raised by his grandmother. Because of her classified background, we cannot go into detail here, but we suspect that she might have been training Nicholas from a very young age to kill or, at the very least, not hesitate when facing danger. When Nicholas was five, she sent her grandson to Sinclaire Military Academy in Boston.

Nicholas stayed out of trouble for the first year, though there was an incident that involved a couple third-graders "accidentally falling down the stairs", but no one believed that a child in kindergarten was capable of taking on bigger children three years older. But then, all that changed one fateful day when he was in first-grade and met a new student: Jean-Paul Renard.

The next eleven years were a nightmare for Academy Commandant Martin Sinclaire as DeYorke and Renard caused assorted mayhem and chaos. Upper classmen learned painful lessons when it came to bullying these two. One US Senator, whose son was attending the academy, went so far as to have the two boys locked up in a juvenile facility (which resulted in one wall of the facility exploding which was followed by the Senator's limousine a week later just after he and his chauffeur had gotten out of it and started to walk away). For graduation, the two young men had managed to hijack a tank and drive it back to the academy grounds (while leading a massive police chase). Because of our connection to the situation, the local authorities were more than happy to let us handle it.

After leaving Sinclaire, the two young men went their separate ways. Renard quietly disappeared upon returning to Canada (we found out later that he was working with a few former members of the Foreign Legion who were friends of his father) and Nicholas joined the Marine Corps.

For two years, the young man excelled while in the Marines. He had become a well trained sniper and was actually participating with covert ops unit that was under the command of then Brigadier General Edicott. Edicott was in charge of a program called 'Daggerpoint' which used novas who had enlisted in the military. Edicott, unlike most other military commanders, did not view the novas under his command as "mere assets"; he treated them as soldiers under his command and that earned him their loyalty. Edicott was also one of the few people that DeYorke respected.

Then it all came crashing down.

A nova Elite known only as "Kamal" attacked the Daggerpoint facility, killing half the personnel and seriously injuring Edicott. What happened after that is a matter of public record and was aired world-wide as Slapstick and Kamal fought their way through Atlantic City, destroying the famed "Boardwalk" and ending with Slapstick slicing off Kamal's head and then putting the Elite's headless body on one of the local roller-coaster attractions. Due to public revelation of a branch of the US military running a "covert ops" team consisting of novas, Daggerpoint was forced to shutdown while it was investigated (it has since been restored, but is now under being monitored by PRIMUS). Edicott was promoted, but forced into an administration job. Out of disgust for what was done to the closest thing he had to a family, Slapstick left the Marine Corps and became an independent.

Six months after leaving the Corps, DeYorke resurfaced as the Elite known as Slapstick and, after re-uniting with Bomber, began to carve and shoot his way up the professional ladder. During this time, he and Bomber also pulled a bunch of crazy stunts for Rendard's "Bomber's Bay" channel and the duo even participated in the XWF (before being kicked out by XWF president Paul Heyman for causing too much property damage). Their antics also attracted the attention of other Elites who felt that Bomber and Slapstick were "blights on the profession" and tried to kill them. After killing over a dozen Elites within a few months, it became apparent that DeYorke and Renard were dangerous and were hired on by the DeVries Agency.

The following is a clip from a Bomber's Bay live-stream episode titled: "African Warlord Safari":

{"Africa" by Toto is playing in the background music as the camera cuts to Bomber and Slapstick dressed up in jungle safari clothes. They are apparently in the cargo hold of a transport chopper. Behind them, is a man in some sort of uniform sitting on a bench, his arms tied behind his back and a canvas sack over his head. The music fades and Slapstick smiles at the camera before breaking into a very exaggerated Australian accent.}

Slapstick: "And welcome back, 'mates! Crikey, what a day, yeah?"

{Bomber raises a beer at the camera in a salute}

Bomber: "Oh yeah, 'mate! Oh yeah!"

Slapstick: "Bloody hell, mate! Your fake Australian accent is more fucked up than mine!"

{Bomber finishes his Beer before responding}

Bomber (Belching): "Oh yeah!"

{They both pause for a moment, glancing at each other and trying horribly to not break out in laughter. Thankfully, Slapstick is able to stay in-character and resume talking to the camera}

Slapstick: "Anyway, mates, my good friend Jean and I are happy that you've been with us all this week for this year's annual 'African Warlord Safari'. From the estimated hits we've been getting, not to mention the streaming revenue feed, we can tell that you enjoyed our crazy jaunt through this continent."

{In the background, Bomber opens up another can of beer and raises it}

Bomber: "Oh Yeah, mate! Lions!"

Slapstick (continues to speak as the camera briefly cuts to footage of Bomber and Slapstick in a running gunfight with some armed members of a warlord's militia while they are all being attacked by a pack of lions): "You were with us when we ran with the lions and we helped feed them."

(cut to a scene of Slapstick slicing off a man's arm and gleefully laughing as a lion pounces on the now screaming one-armed man and tears him apart)

Slapstick: "You were there when we played with the hippos!"

Bomber (raising his beer): "Hungry Hungry Hippos!"

(Cut to a clip of Bomber and Slapstick on a river skiff, fighting off more militia men, who end up getting mauled and eaten by a few angry hippopotamuses. Then it cuts back to both Bomber and Slapstick drinking a can of beer each before tossing the emptied cans over their shoulders).

Slapstick: "And finally, you got to see us scale a genuine desert palace and capture a real African warlord!"

{Cut to a scene of Bomber and Slapstick gunning, slicing, and beating their way through more militia members while parts of the warlord's palace blow up in the background. Then it cuts to back to Bomber dragging the unknown man with a sack over his head in front of the camera.)

Bomber: "So check this out, mates! We have a genuine African Warlord, plucked right of the wild."

(He yanks the sack off to reveal an angry African man with a shaved head)

Unknown African Warlord: "You American filthy scum! I will rip out your intestines and feed them to the hyenas!"

Slapstick: "Crikey! He's a really lively one, ain't he, Jean?"

Bomber: "Oh yeah, mate, he bloody well is!"

(Bomber grips the man by the back of the neck and squeezes hard, causing the man to snarl out more curses and threats)

Bomber: "Bloody Hell, Nick! Check out the white teeth and gums on this one! Absolutely bloody perfect!"

Slapstick: "Whoa, you're right, mate!" (He then looks back at the camera) "As you can see from this particular African Warlord, he has perfect teeth and is fairly young. Probably barely in his thirties! A magnificent specimen!"

Unknown African Warlord: "You bastards will unhand me at once! I will see you two suffer to the point that you will BEG me for your deaths!"

Slapstick: "Awww, isn't that cute? Notice how this venomous creature tries to make itself appear threatening by assuming an aggressive posture. Sadly, we will have to let him go."

(The African Warlord's eyes widen in surprise)

Unknown African Warlord: "Wait...what?"

Bomber: "You heard the man, we have to let yeh go."

Slapstick (looking back at the camera again): "Yes, we do have to let him go. As you can see, this is a relatively young warlord and is not currently legal for us to hunt. So we have to let him go."

Unknown African Warlord: "Really, you're going to actually let me go? Why?"

Slapstick: "Because, like true fisherman, we always throw the young ones back."

(Slapstick then laughs maniacally as he reaches over and opens the side door to the helicopter's cargo compartment)

Bomber: "And back in the river, little one!"

(Bomber then throws the man out the door)

Unknown African Warlord: "NOOOOOOOOOOoooooooo!"

(Bomber and Slapstick watch as the man falls towards the ground, then they both flinch,with matching looks of horror and disgust on their faces. They then close the door and trade a contemplative look. This time, when they speak, they've dropped the fake Australian accents.)

Bomber: "Okay, for the record, a man can survive a fall from a couple hundred feet into a river, right?"

Slapstick: "In theory, if they're a trained diver and enter the water at a precise angle. Um...you were aiming for the river, right?"

Bomber: "Not really."

Slapstick: "Well...damn...guess it sucked to be him, right?"

(Camera then fades to the Bomber's Bay Logo before cutting to a commercial break)

Overview:

Slapstick is a dangerous killer with a flair for the dramatic. As an individual mercenary he is easily one of the deadliest in the world. When working with Bomber, the two men literally feed off each other when it comes to doing crazy things to their enemies. Though he is not a threat to us directly, be advised that he is not above taking contracts on American soil. That being said, he will work for the highest bidder and he stays true to the job once he takes the contract and he will carry it out to its end.
