Chapter 9

(A/N: I know it's been FOREVER since I last updated but I hope you can forgive me and even though I still haven't got any feed back about my story and I said what the hell just keep going)

I laied there looking at Zero with my eyes glowing bright crimson red and my sharp pointy teeth pocking out as I take big gasps of air. "Z..e..r..o" I heard running heals of foot steps. Yuki. I heard Zero's voice say the one thing I wish he didn't "Yuki..." I tried to stand up with what strenght I had left but it was to no avail. 'Zero...You broke your promise. And for that I will always hate you...Forever'

(Yuki's POV)

I was standing at the door way of the room where Lucy and Zero was in pain and their tattoos were glowing like vines on their necks, their rolling on the floor grunting in aganizing pain. All I could do was watch. I heard some footsteps and saw Akatsuki walking like nothing happened so I ran up to him trying to get his attention "Akatsuki! Akatsuki! Akatsu- huh?" but when we wreached the room where Zero and Lucy were. They weren't there, Kain Cross was the only one in the room besides me and Akatsuki "Headmaster?" I ran up to him "What are you doing here headmaster? Where's Zero and Lucy?" Cross turned away from me and looked out the window at the full moon and while it glistens off his glasses he said "*Sigh*.. We'll I'm afraid they got hurt..." I gasped "I asked Yaguri to take them to the asotiation of the madical clinic" Akatsuki looked at Kain as I spoke

"Were they hurt that badly?"

"Don't worry, it's just a percaution"

(The next day...)

I was to into my thoughts that I got starteled when my friend spoke to me "Your taking ampell notes today. Come to think of it, you've been aufully studious since the ball. Learned a new lesson?" I thought for a moment "Uh.. Yeah I guess I did, that and... we'll Zero's absent so I thought I'd take extra notes for him"

(Later after class)

I'm in headmasters office asking Cross "When will Zero be coming back?" He turned around with a emotionless face "Oh I don't thing they'll be gone for too long. It's just that Zero and Lucy are so eager to come back that they're not getting enough rest..." I forgot about Lucy... I'm so stupid, she's my sister. No wonder Shizuka called me 'Stuborn...' "So I'm thinking, I need to keep them there for a little bit longer. How about we go pay them a visit later..." I was a little taken back by his suggestion but I still answered "Alright. I was wondering, did you know about... about Maria? I mean Shizuka Hio..." He looked at me for a breaf moment "I didn't. I'm ashamed to be myself, pretious students were in danger and I wasn't able to do anything about it" I looked down. Father felt terrible about it but "It's not your fault"

(In third person POV)

Kanime was sitting in his room listening on the report about what happened to Shizuka from Akatsuki "The disinegrated body of Shizuka Hio was all that remained and the headmaster said he has taken care of Zero and Lucy. That's it thats what I witnessed" Kaname sat there thinking to himself "I see. Both of them had enough resons to kill that woman but I don't think they would do something so rash. However it can't be helped if it appears to be their fault. Lucy has already dealt with this before and she was innocent then as she is now" Kaname looked up at Aido "What's wrong? Aido?" He shook his head

"N-no nothing"

"In anycase, I must report all this to the senit, it's a fact that someone has comitted the greatest Tabo, they have dared to do the unspeakable like killing a pureblood. It's tragic, people gave her the cruel nickname of 'Kurizaki Hime' I wonder if anyone truely understood her"

(Laster on that night)

Hanabusa and Akatsuki were hanging outside of the moon dorms "It's cold tonight. I know that 'something' is bothering you, Hanabusa" Aido thought for a long time putting the both of them into an uncomfortable display of silence untill Aido finally spoke "Hey, Akatsuki, how much do you know about Shizuka Hio?" It didn't take long for him to answer "Shizuka Hio was dangerous to both vampires and humans, she attacked the Kiriu family (A/N: Including Lucy) after going beserk and she dissapeared then showed up here. That's all I know" Aido walked past Akatsuki and started walking to the woods that's near by and started to speak to Akatsuki while walking "She was regarded as a nusence but still she was a pureblood. I know that Shizuka had a pureblood fiance but then for some unknown reason. She started to keep a human male by her side to be exact he used to be human, a servent and Shizuka loved him, but he was put on the vampire hunters execution list and so the Kiriu's hunted him down, but I also know that the servent had not yet fallen fallen to level E status..." Akatsuki interupted "Then there's no way his name could of been on the execution list"

"I know, but it was. Shizuka attacked the Kiriu family for revenge..."

"No matter what the reason, a pureblood shouldn't have gone after the hunters. Most arristocrats want peace not conflict. Her actions where the same as someone who's gone crazy" Aido thought for a moment "Shizuka Hio, had been proven a high risk to the senate. They must have been searching for her relentlessly and Shizuka was probably on the run, fleeing from the senate. So why would she risk it? Why would she come to prove cross academy. She knew she wouldn't be welcome here"

"Another act of madness?"

"No... Your wrong..." Aido walked to the side of Akatsuki "There was something she wanted here and I don't thing she was the one who wanted it. Some one else is after it as well"

(Back in Yuki's POV)

I was sitting at the fountan looking into the eyes of my reflection, thinking about Zero and Lucy "Lucy..." I wonder how they're doing right now ? "Thank you for patrolling the grounds" I looked to where the all so familiar voice of Kaname. I turned around and stoop up

"Kaname..."

"Are you taking a break?" He put his hand on my shoulder and pushed me lightly back on the spot I was sitting at before and walked to my left and sat next to me "I heard that Zero and Lucy are injured. How's there recovery?" I don't truely know "Oh... well, the headmaster said that theres nothing to worry about so I guess..."

"That insident was something the night class should of taken care of. I'm very sorry that you were dragged into it" He turned to me with the moonlight glistening of his Crimson red eyes, put his hand on my cheek and said "No matter what I do, you wont let me protect you" I looked down with his hand still on my cheek "Well... It's just that..."

"Now persume that task would be rather difficult to do. Especially in there condition" I turned to him in a start about to yell at him but I calmed myself and looked back at the ground "Zero and Lucy saved me. I made a promise, I swore I'd protect them but in the end, I was the one who..." He stood up "I see..."

"Kaname are you..."

"You mustnt blame yourself, Yuki, they both owe you. It's the least they could do, very least" I shoo my head as the breeze swayed through both mine and Kaname's hair "No. That's not true. You don't understand. You're wrong Kaname. Zero and Lucy is suffering. No it's not just them, everyone's suffering because of their entwined destiny and all I could do was watch..." I put my hand on my heart and looked up at the sky. 'I believe in you guys. I really do. Zero..'

And what did you think. Yes I know it's litterly just like episode 13 but I want to make it like the show but add Lucy into it that's why I call it a true story. I don't own anything except Lucy. And I hope you enjoyed it
