Here is the second chapter to Hanon's story. The curse and counter curse are created by me to make the later chapters be interesting. Note that in my story, if there is a bigger cast playing the characters, then the story might be a bit longer than the others. The Curse
-Isabelle Kingdom-
At the banquet, the fairies are enjoying the delicious food. However, Lanhua has notice something different. Everyone including the Fairy Princesses are eating out of golden utensils and plates while hers was only silver. She began to mutter something that only Akari and Tsubasa both then gave each other a little nod. Akari then started to leave the table as if she didn't want to eat with Lanhua. She went and hid behind a curtain so no one can see her and so she can know what Lanhua is up to. Only Tsubasa knows about this. Once the banquet is over, it was then time for the fairies to give their blessings to Princess Hanon. No one realized that Akari was not present. Meru went first as she take out her blue wand.
"Ah! Princess Hanon, your so kawii. I will give you a gift that you will always grow up beautiful." Meru explained as she waved her wand. Blue sparkle came falling at the baby. Meru then moved aside so Sara can give Hanon her gift.
"Princess, I will give you the gift to one day find love." Sara said as he waves her orange want at Hanon, orange sparkles shot out of it.
Mikaru was next but she had trouble seeing Hanon because she is the youngest and her wings are not used at flying yet. Tsubasa giggled softly and help Mikaru do her magic. "Hanon-chan, my gift is that you will always have friends so that you can never be lonely." Mikaru replied waving her green wand as mint sparkles flown out.
When Tsubasa put Mikaru down, she then resume to Hanon, "Princess Hanon, my gift is that you will always find happiness and comfort in the ones you hold dear. Let the melody in your heart help express your feelings." she gentle wave her pink wand at Hanon.
When Tsubasa was almost finish waving her wand, she was then suddenly pushed aside by Lanhua.
"Hey! Why did you do that for?!" Meru demanded angrily.
Lanhua just ignored her and turned her attention to King Ron and Queen Hana. She then spoke.
"Your princess shall suffer for the way you treated my your Majesties," she coldly replied. "First you didn't invited me to the celebration and then you offer the other fairies gold things to eat while I get only silver. This is an insult that I won't take lightly! Just like your kingdom itself, you have all the happiness that my sisters represent," she gestured to the Fairy Princesses and added, "While leaving me to represent the kingdom's dark secrets. For example, because of what your father and mother did to me, King Ron, they have all the people believed that I am evil. However, because they cannot kill me for it will bring imbalance, they cast me to the darkest parts of this land. You are just like your parents! First your parents made me miserable and now you insulted me. For that, your daughter shall pay the price."
The crowd was shocked.
'The Evil Fairy Queen is sisters to the five Fairy Princesses?' they thought. Lanhua just ignore the gasps and then turned her attention to Princess Hanon.
"What are you going to do to her!" Tsubasa asked in a frighten voice.
"Why, I am going to bless her or should I say curse her, sweet Tsubasa." Lanhua replied simply to her sister.
"Wait! Please don't do this!" the king and queen pleaded.
"Hmp! You should have invited me in the first place and gave me golden utensils. Tsubasa or my other sisters wouldn't have mind anyway if they were given silver." Lanhua claimed. She start taking out her Chinese fan and recited a curse as she waved the fan.
This princess that brings people's joy and glee
Her life, however shall end miserably
For on her fourteenth birthday a disaster will strike
She'll prick her finger on the spindle's spike
When my curse is compete that, she will fall
And every else will begin to recall
Your princess has one month to find true love's kiss
So she can forever be filled with ever lasting bliss
However, if that one month has already expired
Then you all had failed at what was required
The second part of my curse shall start
And death will slowly claimed her heart
My sisters, the fairies cannot destroy my curse
For it can never ever be reverse
When all hope is lost to end the princess's eternal death sleep
You will all know that I had my victory and all of you shall sadly weep
Lanhua then left before anyone can catch her. She laugh wickedly as the guests in the palace were becoming frantic. Queen Hana and King Ron started to fall into despair. The fairies were shocked even Tsubasa.
"Our poor Hanon." Queen Hana replied.
"Is it truly her destiny to be exactly what that evil fairy witch says?" King Ron asked.
"It is not! And it will never be her destiny," Akari answered as she came from her hiding spot. "I still have my spell that I haven't cast yet."
"Can you save her?" the Queen asked hopefully.
Akari looked sadly at her sisters and replied, "I cannot break Lanhua's curse. Although it is true that all of us are sisters, after what your parents did to her, she was never the same. She became distant and hostile towards us. Tsubasa once tried to comfort her but she harshly hurt her. It is also when she told us that she will never be with us again, that the gentle dark fairy we know is long gone and a new side of darkness has awakened. Even though I'm the second powerful, I don't have enough strength to get rid of this curse, but what I can do is change it's affect on the second part of her curse." Akari explained.
"Do what you can." the king told her worriedly.
Akari began her counter spell:
Although this curse, we cannot break
The princess can still be awake
If the first month pass and the next has begun
Then there is a chance that we can still won
Our magic shall protect the princess's heart and soul
So that wicked fairy cannot stole
At the same time it protects her body and so
The spirit world she shall not go
When a prince travel to come and see
All there is will only be beauty
Once true love's kiss has been given
A new born fairy can be forgiven
No more will this kingdom be crying sadly
For new joys to be cheer and all is happy.
Once Akari finished her spell, she and the other Fairy Princess gave the king and queen their goodbyes after they tell them that they will be come back one day.
But the king was still worried and does not want any risks, so he ordered that every spindles are to be burn and destroyed. He and his queen then plan to wait for the day that the curse on their daughter would one day come to an end.
