A/N - Sorry that this took so long to get out.
We've both had quite a busy time lately.
We've both come to a decision that misspotter94 will take over writing this story because ParkersPen needs to concentrate on college so she can get her grades to go to university. MP94 hopes that she can get chapters to you all pretty regular but since she has other stories and is due to start university within the next two weeks, she'll admit that she has other priorities too. We're sorry if this upsets or angers you.

Scorpius and I avoided each other as much as possible for the next few days. Considering that most of the school knew we were best friends, our falling out was the hot topic of conversations. The Gryffindor's loved it but the Slytherin's hated it. Especially Ivy and Vinnie. Every time I was with one of them and Scorpius walked into the same room, they stopped twalking and looked from me to him. Eventually things went back to how they used to be before I got suspended - meaning that Scorpius and Vinnie and Ivy and I formed two separate groups. Scorpius, Vinnie and the rest of the fifth years socialised, had a laugh with each other and generally got along while Ivy and I glared, laughed and made them all feel uncomfortable for our own pleasure.

However, I thought that Ivy and I were happy doing this again; apparently I was wrong.

"So are you and Scorpius ever going to just have make up sex and get over yourselves?" Ivy asked me while she was waiting with me for James and Lily to finish in Quidditch practice. The two of us were huddled close in the stands while the Gryffindor team were having a discussion over how their practice went. Scorpius, Vinnie and some other people from other houses were sitting on the other side of the stadium waiting for Roxanne, Dominique and Albus to finish their practice. "I mean, I'll support you like crazy but I'm sick of hanging out with them and the focus of conversation is purely how to hide their dirty magazines away from their girlfriends."

I rolled my eyes but moved closer to my best friend when a gust of fiercely cold wind blew around the two of us. "I don't know. He was pretty much a total dick." I shrugged a shoulder, watching my breath come out in a smoke formation in front of me.

"I believe you. I've thought of him as a brother for nearly sixteen years now. I know how much of a dick he can be." Ivy assured me. "But. . . you know, you can be a bit of a bitch too."

I let out a deep sigh, smiling a little at the large puff of air that had escaped from my mouth and was slowly disappearing in front of us.

"Yeah, I know." I turned to look at Ivy. "So the guys really have dirty magazines?"

"Yep. I saw some of Vinnie's last summer. Why do they even look at them? They're disgusting." Ivy rolled her eyes and scowled.

"Well," I thought my answer over carefully, not wanting to sound like a pervert. "I suppose it's the same as us having posters and magazines of hot guys. Like that one from that band you like - Twisted Toadstools, the one above your head board -"

"But the only action that Travis makes is a wink to me when he sees me looking at his picture. Those girls in Vinnie and Scorpius' magazines actually. . .writhe and giggle and touch places -,"

"Lovely." I scowled.

"I know right? I personally don't see the attraction to photographed pornography." Ivy stood up slowly, pulling me with her. "I see nothing wrong in actual, physical human interaction that shows the affection two people can have for each other through sexual intercourse."

I stopped walking down the bleachers and just shook my head in amazement.

"That's nice to know, Ivy." James' voice made us both look behind me; he and Lily had landed from their brooms behind me with Dominique in tow as usual.

I looked back at Ivy and saw her glare at James and Dominique for a minute before she looked at me, with a little defensive look in her eyes. "And that's my queue to leave. See you later Rosie. Bye Lily."

Dear Rose,

How are you? I hope you're feeling better than you were doing the other day. I'm just writing to let you know that I'll be in Italy on work purposes this coming Sunday so I won't be coming up to the castle. Your father is instead going to take my place because he would like to have a face to face conversation with you regarding your attitude over Christmas.

I hope you're feeling a lot better than you did last Sunday.

Love always, Mum.

I re-read Mum's letter for the second time while Lily and James spoke to Albus, Hugo, Dominique, Louis and Roxanne about some Gryffindor none sense.

I tried to forget my crying on my mothers shoulders for nearly an hour. I tried to block out the memory of her pushing my hair out of my face and assuring me that I would be alright and that if I ever needed anybody that she would be there for me whenever I needed her.

"Hey Potters, Weasley's. . .Rosie."

I looked up from Mum's letter and pushed my thoughts to the back of my mind when I heard Lysander Scamander's voice. He walked through the door to the empty classroom the eight of us were sitting in. It wasn't just us, a few younger Slytherin's and a few Hufflepuff's were in the classroom too. Apparently we weren't the only ones who thought it was too cold to go outside for morning break.

Lysander wasn't alone though; his brother was flanked by two of his usual girls and the Scamander twins were being followed by the other three Ravenclaw sixth years. A guy I don't know and two that I do. Jason Smith and Rodney Zacharia. The two idiots who cornered my brother. I looked over to Hugo discreetly and saw him look straight down at his open book when Smith and Zacharia sat down around the cluster of desks that we were gathered round.

"Hey Sandy." I smirked over at him.

"Over here!" Roxanne called over whatever Lysander was going to say.

I groaned loudly and glared over to the doorway when I saw Scorpius leading Danny Warrington into the classroom.

"Um. . .come on man, we'll go hang out with Vinnie and Logan." Danny nudged Scorpius when the two came over to where we all were. Danny saw my heavy glare over at where Scorpius and he were sitting beside Roxanne and Dominique.

"Trouble in Snake Paradise?" Lysander teased the three of us.

"Haven't you heard?" Rodney Zacharia snickered. "Prince and Princess Serpentine here have had a falling out. Apparently their hisses are worse than their slithers -"

Scorpius and I both stood from our seats and grabbed for our wands at the same time. Zacharia and Smith and the other Ravenclaw guy jumped up with their wands out a second later.

"You keep walking Roddie -"

"You keep speaking Zacharia and I'll rip your tongue out of your mouth and wrap it around Smith's dick." I cut across Scorpius and threatened the two of them.

"What have I done?" Smith pointed his wand at me and demanded.

I felt myself being dragged back down into my chair and saw Scorpius being pulled down too. I was just about to turn to yell at James when the door burst open and Professor Urquhart came storming in.

"Smith, Zacharia, Goldsmith - no magic in classrooms. Ten points each from Ravenclaw!"

"Sir! We haven't even done anything!" the three protested at the same time.

Professor Urquhart slowly walked over to our group and assessed the situation; I couldn't help but grin smugly at the Ravenclaw's. Three Ravenclaw guys pointing their wands at Scorpius and I who were both sitting in our chairs.

"Miss Weasley, Mr Malfoy, Mr Warrington - what happened?"

"We were just sat here when these guys came in and started harassing us." Danny lied straight away.

"Honestly sir, I was sitting here with these Gryffindor's reading a letter from my Mum when the Ravenclaw's came in. Malfoy and Danny came in after them and for some reason the Ravenclaw's started mouthing off and threatened to jinx us." I lied through my teeth easily. "I mean, Lysander tried to calm them down. . .but Lorcan and those girls cheered them on." I tried not to laugh when I saw Lorcan and his girls all glare at me.

"Detention, this lunch time and tonight. I'll be speaking to your head of house. Now go to my office while I write your slips. Go!" Urquhart ordered the six of them out of the room - much to the shock to everybody else.

I waited until the door slammed behind Urquhart before I let my snicker out. Danny and Scorpius joined in with me, while Lysander and the Gryffindor's just sat in open mouthed shock.

"Why the hell are we sitting over here? We hate most of them." I pointed out to Ivy as she led me over to the Gryffindor table.

"Believe me Rosie, I hate sitting over here but since I haven't seen my brother in what feels like weeks I actually want to sit with him. If that means sitting with the Weasley's. . .then whatever, come on." Ivy took my hand and pulled me down onto a bench. Vinnie and Lily were sitting opposite it. When they saw us sit down, James moved down to sit beside me and Dominique followed him.

"People will think you two are a couple soon, you know." I looked at the two of them and smirked when they just rolled their eyes. "Seriously, have some space and it will squash those sex-cousin rumours that are going round."

Dominique just scoffed and shook her head.

"There are no rumours." James laughed and piled shepards pie on to mine, Dominique's and his plates.

"Yeah there is." I accepted my plate and grabbed the ketchup and squirted it on the three plates, remembering how the three of us were the only ones who liked the ketchup on the potato and gravy meal. "I started them."

That had Ivy, James, Dominique, Vinnie and Lily laughing loudly.

"What's funny?" I looked up and stopped laughing when I saw Roxanne and Scorpius sitting down beside Ivy.

"We were just laughing over how small Scorpius' dick is." I told her dryly.

Scorpius laughed sarcastically. "You know, if you had someone elses dick to focus on, maybe you wouldn't be so obsessed with mine." he suggested, leaning over Ivy to snatch the ketchup from my hand.

"Maybe if you had an adequate sized one, I wouldn't make jokes." I retorted, snatching the ketchup back off him.

He didn't say anything after that and we all just focused on eating our food in silence. About ten minutes later though we were joined by Lysander and Lorcan Scamander.

"I swear I should throw you off of the Astronomy tower." Lorcan snapped at me, making me snicker and wink at him. "I just spent the past half hour scraping dragon blood from rusty cauldrons."

"Hungry work." I teased him and pushed the bowl of shepards pie over to him.

I ignored his grumbling and went back to my plate but then looked at Ivy when she hissed suddenly and sat up straighter.

"Damn it!" Ivy hissed and started fidgeting in her spot.

"Are you alright?" I asked her quietly; nobody else had noticed her discomfort it seemed.

"No, the bone from my bra has popped out. Damn it, I loved this bra." Ivy put down her fork and tried to adjust her bra from over her robes and clothes. "It always gave me good boobs."

I laughed and watched as she tried to push the bone back in place on her bra.

"Look, come here, you'll end up ripping the bra. I'll get it out for you." I rolled my eyes and put my own fork down. When she turned towards me with her robe pulled open I put one hand down her shirt and used my other hand to feel for her bone just under her boob above her shirt. "I got it, here." I used my first two fingers to push the bone out of the bra socket over her shirt and my hand inside her shirt to pull it out. "There you go." I handed her the small metal bone and turned back to my plate.

"What the hell did you just do?" Vinnie hissed; we both looked up to see Lily, Vinnie, the twins, James, Dominique, Roxanne and Scorpius all looking at us with shocked faces.

"Took the bone out of her bra." I shrugged.

"It looked like you just massaged her boob for her." Lily told us bluntly and honestly.

"It looked like the hottest freaking thing ever." Lorcan corrected her with a deep chuckle. Ivy and I both scowled over at him.

I peeked at Scorpius out of the corner of my eye and smirked when I saw him clenching his fist on top of the table, his knuckles turning white, and he was staring at his plate intently. Vinnie pushed his plate away, seemingly losing his appetite over seeing his sister get groped accidentally. Dominique was laughing lightly, Lily was muttering something to Vinnie.

My attention turned to Lysander though, he was smirking directly at me and when I looked his put his fork down and grabbed his bag.

"Um. . .I need the bathroom, I'll see you guys later." he cleared his throat and stood from the table, making sure that his school bag was pressed against his stomach.

"Make sure you flex your wrist properly, Sandy." I winked at him, making everybody groan.

"If you're worried I won't do it the right way, you could do it for me." Lysander shot back, sending me a small wink.

I slowly found myself becoming closer to Lysander again. Whilst Vinnie was with Lily and Ivy was with whatever boy she decided she liked, I found myself wwalking the grounds with Lysander, or sitting around the castle just having a laugh. Obviously we flirted a lot while we were alone together, but nothing more happened.

It was Lysander I was talking too while we were all sitting in the stands - and I say 'we' because apparently Ivy and I had nothing better to do than watch the Gryffindor's practice with Scorpius and Vinnie.

"So, what's the deal with you and Malfoy?" Lysander asked, nodding down to a few rows in front of us where Scorpius was sitting with Vinnie, the two of them watching their girlfriends fly through the air.

"Oh, just a tiff." I shrugged and scooted closer to him, enjoying the warmth his large frame offered. "So I never asked how your brother and the others enjoyed their detention? I know Lorcan just loved it."

Lysander laughed deeply and pulled his scarf from around his neck to wrap around mine. "You suit blue." Lysander smirked and then put an arm around me, knowing how cold I was.

"The guys were practically foaming they were so mad. The girls not so much; they know not to cross you." Lysander whispered loudly as if it was a huge secret.

I laughed and shook my head at him. "It was just a prank."

"I know. . ., but what would happen if I crossed you?"

"You already have crossed me once." I reminded him, nodding up to where Roxanne was flying above us.

I looked up from Ivy's nails when a loud cheering noise filled our common room, followed by a lot of cheering and laughter. Scorpius and Vinnie came in, followed by a bunch of fifth, sixth and seventh years from all four houses.

"What the Hell's going on?" Ivy glared at her brother when they and their friends all collapsed and fell down on to the sofas close to where we were folded up into one chair so I could do Ivy's nails for her.

"Chill out, sis, we made sure they were blindfolded." Vinnie assured Ivy and practically the entire House since he was shouting.

"Oh please, we've known where the Slytherin common room is for years." Albus snorted and laughed loudly.

I couldn't pass this opportunity up; how many times have I seen a drunken Albus before?

"No way is baby Potter drunk!" I laughed and stood up from the chair. "Wow, you're all wasted." I looked round the various Gryffindor's, Hufflepuff's and Ravenclaw's, recognising a few, disliking some and glaring at two very annoyed looking Ravenclaw's.

"Who - Lennon Longbottom - is that you?" Ivy stood up too and came over for a closer look; I followed her gaze and felt my mouth pop open in surprise. Neville's oldest son Lennon has drastically changed over Christmas. He wasn't the lanky, plump, geek with chubby cheeks and a hair cut his mother did. Now he was tall, lean, his cheeks had gotten slimmer and his hair tousled in a careless way that I only ever thought James, Scorpius, Vinnie and Lysander could pull off.

"Ivy!" Vinnie hissed when he saw his twin sister grin at Lenny in a flirtatious manner.

Ivy just ignored him though and continued to check Lenny out.

"Seriously Longbottom, what happened?" I asked, going over to sit on the arm of the couch that Lysander was sitting on with James and Freddie.

"Nothing major, I let my hair grow out, worked out a little -"

"YOU HAVE A SIX PACK!" Ivy had went to sit on the arm of his chair and shamelessly pulled his t-shirt up. "Oh my days, Rose he has a six pack!"

"Ivy!" Scorpius and Vinnie hissed.

I laughed a little and looked at Lysander to shake my head at him at her antics when James' expression caught my eye. He was glaring at the floor heavily and his fists were clenching in his lap.

A couple of days after the entirety of Slytherin House discovered that Lennon Longbottom had a six pack, I was looking for Ivy who hadn't shown up to our afternoon Defense Against the Dark Arts lesson - making me partner up with a Gryffindor.

"Has anybody seen Ivy?" I asked the fifth year Slytherins; for some reason the boys would speak to me on some occasions. When I was alone they'd talk to me but if I was with Ivy or Vinnie then they would ignore me and speak to one of the twins. The girls and I ignored each other as per usual though.

"I think I saw her head up to the seventh floor a couple of hours ago." Luke told me.

With a frown I headed to the seventh floor in my search for her, checking out her usual haunts where she would take some poor boy who didn't know she was about to steal his innocence.

"Hey cuz." I looked behind me when I found her favourite tapestry on the same floor as the Gryffindor common room entrance, empty. James and Lily were walking towards me, Dominique and Hugo looked over and then headed over to the common room.

"Hey guys, have you seen Ivy?"

"I don't know where she is, but Vin is in the common room waiting for me. Maybe he knows where she is?" Lily suggested. I had no other ideas for where she could be so I agreed and followed the two of them over to their portrait and then through and into the Lion's den.

As usual, I ignored the glares from the Gryffindor's. I just looked round the common room and found Vinnie sitting with Scorpius, Roxanne, Freddie and Albus.

"Hey Vin, where's your sister?" I walked over to him, ignoring my cousins and Scorpius. "I'm going to kill her. She bailed on DADA so I had to partner with Lambart. What an idiot."

Vinnie laughed and Scorpius smirked despite himself. "Aw, poor you. You're so hard done by." Vinnie teased me.

"I know, I know. So, have you seen your twin?"

"Nope, last time I saw her was at lunch and she -"

He stopped talking when he heard her unmistakable giggle from somewhere. He, I and Scorpius all looked around the room for her but we looked at Dominique when she just gasped and put a hand over her mouth. We three followed her gaze and I groaned inwardly when we saw her come down the stairs to what obviously led to the boy's dormitory.

At lunch, she was wearing tights under her skirt. At lunch, her hair was smooth and straight. At lunch, her shirt was buttoned up correctly and her tie not crooked.

Now, her legs were bare under her skirt, her hair was all ruffled and carelessly tied up with a hair tie. Her shirt was crinkled and her tie wasn't straight. Behind her, Lenny Longbottom came down the stairs with the obvious smirk on his face that told everybody who was looking at him what they had just done. As if it wasn't clear enough.

"Hey Rosie." Ivy smirked over at me.

"Ergh, you went there with Poison Ivy?" one of the other sixth years called out to Lenny.

I glanced down at Scorpius and Vinnie for their reactions to that. Vinnie was glaring over at Lenny who only laughed and went to sit with his and James' dorm mates. Scorpius was scowling at Ivy who didn't seem fazed.

We all knew what was going to happen next, but that doesn't mean we weren't shocked.

Lenny made some hand gesture with his fingers which meant nothing to me, but to the boys around us it meant a great deal. Albus whistled and looked impressed; Hugo looked bored, the guys around Lenny all laughed.

Vinnie shot out of his chair and launched himself at Lenny. Even though he had begun to work out and he was in great shape, Lenny was nowhere near as tough as Vinnie was; Vinnie had no trouble in slamming Lenny against the wall and reigning punch after punch on to him. Scorpius pushed Lenny's friends out of the way easily when they went to interfere.

"Stay the fuck away from my sister!" Vinnie yelled.

It was only when Roxanne and Lily pulled at their boyfriends' arms did they leave the Gryffindor sixth years alone.

"Are you insane?!" Vinnie yelled at Ivy who simply sat on the arm of a chair and straightened her shirt. "You do know people are going to start calling you some common little slut -"

"Relax Vinnie; it was just sex. Just pure, meaningless sex between two consenting people. Meaningless, effortless sex -"

"Stop saying sex!" James surprised us all by jumping out of his chair and glaring down at Ivy. I exchanged a quick look with Dominique - the cousin that knows him best, and saw irritation in her eyes. James was glaring at Ivy but it wasn't hatred in his eyes.

"Just stop it!" he spat out before he stormed out of the common room. Dominique sighed loudly and glared at Ivy before she followed after him.

Nobody really knew why James exploded at Ivy and she wouldn't tell us, but it was pretty obvious. James clearly had the hots for Ivy - even if he wouldn't admit it.

It all made sense; Lily said that James went clubbing over the Christmas holidays and apparently met a girl and hadn't hooked up with anybody since. Ivy clearly went out over the holidays and has clearly hooked up with guys ever since.

"She probably likes you back you know." I told James as the two of us walked behind Albus, Fred, Molly, Dominique, Roxanne, Scorpius and the twins on our way to our father's latest talk on Defence Against the Dark Arts.

"I don't like Ivy, Rose." James told me for the millionth time since he exploded at Ivy two days ago. Ever since then apparently most of the female population of fifth year and up and spoken to him about his feelings for Ivy. His family members having been concerned and the non-family members wanting to know if they could risk making a move on Ivy Goyle's suspected boyfriend.

"It's clear you do." I told him. The Gryffindor and Slytherin fifth, sixth and seventh years were called in together so I followed James over to a small table where Dominique and Fred joined us. Two of the better cousins to be with if I wanted to sit with James. Since Roxanne sat with the twins and Scorpius, I had nowhere else to go. "I mean, Dominique won't mind if you don't have a boner for her anymore." I told James as I pulled my parchment out of my bag.

"Hardy har har." Dominique pretended to laugh and flipped me off. "Rose, if you actually saw James and me having sex what would you do?" she asked me without looking up from the small instruction sheets on our desks.

"Take a picture with my very expensive camera, print that copy it and send it round the school. I'd also ask you to wear protection; we don't need another retarded cousin." I retorted, not missing a beat.

"We've already got Molly." Fred and I both said at the same time, making James and Dominique laugh. Fred and I laughed too.

"Wow." the four of us looked up to see Harry and my father standing at the end of our table of four, looking at the four of us in complete surprise. I met my Dad's eye and looked away straight away. I ditched him last Sunday, preferring to spend the Sunday afternoon actually studying since I knew he wouldn't follow me like my mother did every week. "I didn't expect to see you four together." Dad told us honestly.

"Rosie and I are friends now." James told our dad's.

"And James and Dominique have that whole 'cousins-who-are-secretly-in-love' thing going on." I told my Dad and uncle in a dead-pan voice. "And Freddie has no other friends."

"Neither does she," Fred shot back. "That's why she's here with us."

I laughed a little at that, I really did walk into that joke myself.

"Can we help you with something?" I asked, I pulled the instruction sheet towards me and then began to start the first task on the sheet.

"Just. . ., just yell if you guys need anything." Dad smiled and told us. When he and Harry walked off, Dad teasingly rubbed my head, sending my hair into a crazy style.

James and Lily and I were friends again. Dominique and I were sort of on speaking terms and whenever I saw Freddie in the corridors and we made eye contact, we'd nod or sometimes smile at each other.

Two weeks went by with me gradually spending time with my family and spending less time around Slytherin's. This was both good and bad.

Good because I saw that those Ravenclaw boys were harassing my brother again. Good because I actually enjoyed spending time with Lysander once more who appeared to want to spend time with the Gryffindor sixth years. Good because I actually like spending time with James and Lily.

Bad because Ivy spent the time I was with my family with the Slytherin fifth year guys or the older guys and girls. Bad because rumours were spreading about Ivy and it was clear Vinnie was going to snap soon. Bad because James was getting stresses whenever he heard a rumour also. Bad because whenever I was with James in his common room, Roxanne and Scorpius would sit and snog in a corner.

Bad because every time I saw Scorpius kiss or touch my cousin, I felt like either crying my heart out or beating them both up.

"Did you hear about Poison Ivy?"

"I heard she did two guys one after the other in the Hogs Head last weekend."

"I heard she gave Gavin Prescott in seventh year a blow job for ten galleons!"

I remained sitting in the toilet cubicle long after I finished peeing because I heard some more rumours about my best friend. Rumours that were honestly most likely true.

I didn't leave the cubicle until I heard the bathroom door swing open and close behind the girls.

As I washed my hands and smoothed my hair down and then walked to Potions I thought over the rumours going round school about Ivy; mostly about her sex life. Most of them about how much of a whore she was turning into.

I couldn't help but remember what she said about having somebody to compare to her Italian guy who took her virginity a few weeks ago; was she being serious? Is she really comparing guys? Why is she doing this? If I believed the rumours around school then she's been through most of the seventh year boys and half of the sixth year - including Lenny Longbottom a few more times much to the anger and dismay of James and Vinnie and Scorpius.

Almost as if she knew I was thinking of her, Ivy giggled and stepped out of a cleaning cupboard a few feet in front of me - followed by Lenny Longbottom.

"We're late for class." Ivy giggled and hitched her skirt to an appropriate level on her body. I couldn't help but notice that she had stopped wearing tights at all lately, even if it meant her legs got really cold.

"I have a free period." Lenny grinned and leant against the wall with one strong hand.

In Ivy's defence. . .I couldn't really blame her for having sex with Lenny Longbottom; for Merlin's sake if he offered me sex I wouldn't turn him down!

"Well we don't." I called out, surprising the both of them. "Go on Longbottom, away with you before I call for your daddy." I walked up to the two of them and watched as Lenny looked from me to Ivy before he sighed and headed the same way I came from.

Ivy and I both watched him leave and waited until he was out of the corridor before we looked back at each other.

"Don't." Ivy said before I did or said anything.

"Don't judge me." Ivy bent down to pick her bag up and then headed towards our common room. I didn't bother reminding her that we had Potions in the corridor behind us and just followed her.

"I'm not the one who slept with her cousin's boyfriend." Ivy continued as we both walked at the same pace. "Severus." she told the damp wall. At the sound of the password the wall opened up for the two of us.

"Aren't fifth years in Potions?" a seventh year girl asked us when we went to sit on a sofa in front of the fire place. Most of the seventh years were sat around there too, either revising for N.E.W.T's or just talking generally.

"Aren't your sister and your ex boyfriend fucking?" I asked back in the exact same stuck up tone she spoke to me in.

That shut her up and annoyed the rest of the seventh years so we wouldn't be interrupted.

"I mean it Rose, don't judge me." Ivy continued when the two of us had warmed up a little bit. "Yes I know I probably shouldn't have sex in a cleaning cupboard. Yes I know Lenny really likes me. Yes I know that I shouldn't string him along . . . but it's fun." Ivy shrugged and spoke in the tone that I easily recognized as her 'I'm-having-fun-so-I-don't-care-for-the-consequenc es' voice.

I didn't say anything for a while. I just sat and looked into the fire; I can't really judge her for having fun while she goes through whatever she is going through, can I?

I am the one who easily let Scorpius use me. I am the one who continued fooling around with Scorpius when I knew he liked my cousin. I am the one who slept with my cousin's boyfriend even though I knew it was wrong.

"I think I'm going to give Lysander another shot." I told Ivy.

She just nodded her head slowly. "Go for it. I mean, I'll be a little disappointed because I wanted to see which twin was bigger down there, but hey ho." she smirked and winked.

I laughed lightly and tried to get the image of Lorcan Scamander and Ivy having sex out of my head. "Have you always been this much of a sex pest or did your Italian Stallion make you this way?"

Ivy laughed loudly, ignoring the glares and comments from the haughty seventh years around us.

"Well, I always liked getting frisky but I have got a bigger appetite for it now."

I was sitting in the Slytherin common room with Vinnie, Lily and James watching the Giant Squid swim lazily past the windows that looked out into the lake. The other three were doing their homework; Lily helping Vinnie with his since she's practically a genius. Ivy was currently in the Gryffindor sixth year boys dormitories with Lenny Longbottom again, which explained why James was down here - literally on the other side of the castle.

I couldn't help but notice that most of the people in the common room weren't actually Slytherins. The entire sixth year Ravenclaw male population was sitting around the fire place with the sixth year Slytherin boys. A few Hufflepuff seventh year girls were sat with our seventh years and there was half a dozen younger Gryffindor's hanging around the common room too.

"Remember when this place only let in Slytherins?" I asked loudly, knowing the Ravenclaws could hear me since Vinnie moved our table closer to the fire place. "It's going to the dogs."

"Actually, it's going to the Lions." Vinnie retorted without looking up from his essay, making several Slytherins laugh.

"And the birds and the badgers." I carried on his joke, laughing a little.

"This place is like a zoo."

I turned my head away from the windows to see Scorpius trailing Roxanne in through the common room. His arm draped over her shoulders.

"Yeah, we've got lions and badgers and birds and snakes." I listed, looking directly at Scorpius. "And now we've even got rats." I arched an eyebrow and smirked towards Scorpius who just glared at me.

The older students all quietened down and I saw Scorpius' hand fly towards his pocket where I knew he kept his wand. My smirk got wider and I picked my own wand up.

"Go on, I dare you." I called over to him.

I watched as Roxanne grabbed Scorpius' hand and led him over to a sofa. She pushed him down and then practically sat on top of him. I watched, my stomach curdling and my blood boiling when I saw her run her hands over his chest and through his hair. I felt myself go mad with jealousy when I saw him smirk and then press his lips against hers.

"Rose?"

I looked down at the table, surprised to see that Vinnie and Lily had vanished.

"They've gone upstairs." James scowled, glancing up at the ceiling, obviously not pleased at why his fourteen year old sister wanted privacy.

I lowered myself into my chair but continued to look over at where Scorpius was snogging Roxanne; he would look over to make sure I was still watching them every couple of minutes. When he saw me looking he would deepen the kiss or make her giggle loudly.

"James. . .when you see Ivy with some guy, how do you feel?" I asked him quietly. I slowly pushed my wand closer to him, not trusting myself to keep hold of it.

James sighed deeply, causing me to look at him. He looked over at where Scorpius and Roxanne were sitting and then looked back at me.

"About the same as you feel right now." James admitted quietly.

James and I spent more time together after that; I think we both silently agreed to keep our secrets. How he was mad for Ivy and how I was mad for Scorpius, because we never mentioned it to anybody. When people asked why Scorpius and I weren't talking he stayed quiet and when people teased him over Ivy I stuck by him.

He seemed to guess that when I wasn't with Ivy, I was with him and the Gryffindor's so he spent time away from them with just me.

Sometimes I would mention his feelings towards Ivy and in turn he would ask me questions about Scorpius. I didn't tell him about what Scorpius and I did - he would kill Scorpius and force me to tell Roxanne.

"Do you. . ., do you ever think that if you liked somebody else things would be better?" I asked James one day when the two of us braved the cold to sit outside on break during the middle of February. Valentine's Day had passed a few days ago and the two of us spent the day in Hogsmeade, destroying the dozens of soppy romantic posters and then throwing snowballs at couples who were taking PDA to the next level, under the security of his invisibility cloak.

James shrugged a shoulder and scooted closer; pulling the glass jar that held the blue flames I conjured, closer to the two of us.

"I don't know. Over Christmas break after we fooled around, I tried to go with Ciara Parkins, the girl with the blonde bob in my year, but it just wasn't the same." James told me. I pictured Ciara, tall, thin with bright blue eyes and a very short blonde bob. She was very attractive and I often heard the Slytherin guys on the Quidditch team discuss the many sexual adventures and exploits they'd to with and to her. "What about you and Scorpius?"

I held my hands over the flames and nodded slightly over to where Lysander was sitting and talking to his brother, their own hands over a jar of blue flames. I remember the time my mother taught us all how to conjure blue flames; only myself, Lorcan, Albus and Dominique mastered them properly.

"I sort of like Lysander." I admitted in a whisper.

"As much as you like Malfoy?"

"No." I told him honestly. "But. . ., I think I like him enough."

James let out several deep breaths; I could tell because his breath was clear in the air due to it coming out in a smokey form. "I think if you think it will work then go for it."

"Really?"

"Rosie, we're young. If it's a mistake then now is the time to make it."

It was another week before I finally decided to act on anything. I'd seen enough of Scorpius successfully making me jealous with Roxanne and decided enough was enough.

Scorpius Malfoy needed a taste of his own medicine - and if I had a fun time with a guy who I actually liked, then what harm could it do?

"Hey!" I called out in the middle of the Entrance Hall when I trailed after the Slytherin and Ravenclaw fifth years coming in from Herbology. The Hall was full of Gryffindor and Hufflepuff fifth years going to Herbology and Gryffindor and Ravenclaw sixth years heading down to Care of Magical Creatures.

"Scamander." I clarified when most of the Hall stopped and turned to see me.

I forcefully pushed Janie, Emily and Bella out of my way, slammed my shoulder into Scorpius and stepped around James, Fred and their housemates to get to Lysander.

"What's happening Rosie - ouf!"

I cut Lysander off by pushing him against the closest wall, closed the gap between us and kissed him hard.

I kept the kiss hot but short and pulled away from him a few seconds later, picking my bag back up from the floor.

"I've just jumped the wand again and I don't care if it is a mistake." I told him strongly, knowing full well that every single Slytherin, Gryffindor, Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw was listening to me. "We're young. I like you, you like me. Fuck it."

Lysander picked his own bag up and looked down at me.

He didn't say anything; he just pushed hair out of my face and then shrugged a shoulder.

"Fuck it." he agreed and pulled me closer to him by moving his hand from my hair to behind my neck. "Skip your next lesson. . ., we'll go to my dorm and carry on with this." Lysander told me, already heading towards the marble staircase instead of the dungeons where I should go and the front doors where he should be going.

I grinned and looked over his shoulder at the Slytherin's.

Janie, Emily and Bella were scowling. Vinnie was smirking. Ivy was laughing and pushed the Gryffindor girls out of her way. I looked over at James who shook his head but winked at me nonetheless.

My gaze fell on Scorpius who was stood openly glaring and scowling at me heavily. I could tell that he didn't like it, and I knew that the heavy storm-filled gaze in his eyes was jealousy.

"Come on, let's go." I looked up to Lysander and let him lead me away from the Entrance Hall.
