Ok in this chapter we'll see Jaime Reyes aka Blue Beetle and Barbara aka Batgirl and get some interesting flashbacks. Sorry if anyone's OOC in the flashback but let's face it we all saw it coming, disclaimer I own nothing.

Beast Boy pulled out an old box with a few photos in it, mostly of his friends before the Titans then some of after the Titans formed but one caught his eye, the picture was titled Jaime's first day as a teammate. It had a boy standing in a big empty room right next to a large table, he had big brown eyes and black hair. He looked hilariously adorable in his black shirt with the yellow Batman symbol on it, blue pants, and dress shoes, yet his kind of mortified face made anyone who were to see the picture want to hug him. Everyone on the team laughed a little bit about how scared he was but they knew the feeling of nervousness, at that time Young Justice was the second greatest superhero team, they were a little ahead of the Doom Patrol but just a couple of levels behind the League so they knew he was very excited and very nervous. He remembered the first day he met Jaime,

Beast Boy and Robin walked to the young boy, he had just saved people from a house fire as a hero called Blue Beetle.

Robin asked, "Kid, what's your name?" They could tell the kid wanted to run in fear down the alley, well they did kind of sneak up on him and he didn't even turn around to see who was speaking.

Beast Boy stepped forward and said, "Turn around."

He turned around and almost fell over in excitement, he gasped, "Y-y-y-you're Beast Boy and Robin, I'm a huge fan."

Beast Boy smiled and asked, "Do you want to talk in private? You know away from prying ears and eyes."

He nodded and replied, "Y-y-yes sir, oh and my name is Jaime Reyes." They nodded and led him down the alley to a dead-end,

Jaime asked, "What are we doing here?"

Robin walked to him and whispered, "It's a surprise kiddo." Beast Boy pressed a brick into the wall then a pad appeared, he put his hand on it which made part of the wall open. They walked in and poor Jaime looked like he was going to have a heart attack because before them stood Kid Flash, Speedy stood in between him and Miss Martian and a few inches away from them was a girl with a bright yellow shirt, bright yellow skirt with a few blue stripes, chocolate-brown hair and ocean blue eyes stood next to Aqualad, her name was Aquagirl or Tula. She held his hand and every few minutes they'd steal quick glances at each other and smile.

Beast Boy spoke up, "Everyone this is Jaime Reyes, the new Blue Beetle. Jaime this is Kid Flash, Aqualad, Aquagirl, Miss Martian, and Speedy."

Speedy asked in a slightly intimidating voice, "Do you know why you're here?"

He slowly crept behind Beast Boy as he replied, "N-no."

Miss Martian rolled her eyes and groaned, "Knock it off Speedy."

Robin turned to Jaime as he said, "Don't worry we just want to talk about the Scarab you possess."

Jaime raised and eyebrow and asked, "W-what's a Scarab?"

It was Kid Flash's turn to speak up, "He's ignorant of the power he possesses."

Miss Martian groaned and replied, "Well duh of course he doesn't know about the Scarab, it's very hush-hush."

Beast Boy put a hand on his shoulder and explained, "The Scarab allows you to transform into Blue Beetle, just like Ted Kord. What you possess is a very great but at the same time dangerous power for if it fell into another's hand they would become corrupt with it. Ted wanted us to find the new Blue Beetle and teach them how to properly use their powers."

He nodded and said, "So pretty much you would like me to join the team."

They nodded and Beast Boy asked, "Will you?"

He smiled and replied, "It would be an honor."

Beast Boy smiled fondly at the photo, those were the days, days of pure joy, fun, and excitement all the time. The days when the team was like a family with the allies and part-time members being like those cousins you only see every few months to maybe a couple of years, in fact a lot of the honorary Titans helped the old team at some point, even Argent. Still can't believe she forgave us for causing her to get kidnapped, sure we freed her but even then she was so mad at us. Strangely she wasn't as mad at me even though she knew I led the group. The next picture was of a girl he hadn't seen in years, she had fire-red hair, deep blue eyes, she had a green scarf on, she also wore a bright yellow shirt with streaks of purple on it and blue jeans. She was at a bus stop, smiling, but they knew she was nervous about leaving Dick behind since he had been like her baby brother, oh how Robin hated it when Barbara would call him her baby brother. She left for an elite boarding school somewhere in Mississippi, needed to give Batgirl a break and for once feel like an ordinary girl, it was understandable but kind of sad to since after she left they never met again until after the funeral and even then she left before anyone could talk to her. He last heard she had graduated college top of her class and even sent a letter to congratulate her but of course she didn't reply, he remembered the day she left.

They watched as the preteen girl got a ticket,

she came over and explained, "The bus will be here in an about fifteen minutes." She sat next to four people on the bench, Dick, Garfield, Megan and Tula. They wore elaborate disguises well except for Megan and Garfield, Megan had merely shape-shifted into her human form and Garfield wore a holoring,

Dick smiled slightly and said, "This is it Barbara."

Barbara nodded and replied, "Just say the word and I won't go."

Garfield shook his head and said, "We'll miss you but this is your dream Barb."

Tula nodded and added, "Besides you said it yourself, if you ever become incapable of fighting crime then you will need your education to fall back on."

Megan hugged her and said, "You'll always be my sister Barb." The time was near, they had about five minutes left with her,

Garfield pulled out a big lunchbox and explained, "It'll be a long ride so I packed three lunch boxes." He handed two others to her,

she laughed slightly, "Garfield that's a bit excessive I mean it'll only take about twenty hours and thirty-seven minutes but thanks."

Dick pulled out a few bags and explained, "One bag has a bunch of photos in it, I went a little crazy taking pictures the last week. The other bag is filled with clothes, toothpaste, toothbrush, just in case you need them, you know team effort between the four of us."

Tula handed her another bag and added, "Those are filled with books I know you'll love."

Megan smiled and said, "I know we're smothering you with gifts."

Barbara laughed, "Don't worry I enjoy your gifts, they're always so thoughtful."

Megan pulled out some colored pencils and a couple sketch pads and explained, "When you don't want to take pictures draw then when you get back you can show us your drawings." She nodded, the bus came to a halt, this was it, she'd be gone for many years so this was a sad goodbye.

As she got onto the bus Garfield called to her, "Make us proud Barb!" She looked over her shoulder, her eyes were getting watery and it looked like she was going to break down but she still smiled and gave a small nod. They watched the bus leave, they stayed until it was out of sight then with somber faces they left.

He shook the memory away and thought maybe they'll join the Titans. He smiled when he thought the name Titans, the name was based on a dream their friend Eddie had where they stood as teens on a giant t shaped tower located on a small island, at first they were just overlooking the city but he looked up at the sky and saw the entire universe and realized that they were guardians of that universe, like the Titans in those stories who were said to watch over all of existence and go into action when trouble was happening. He expressed his desire for them to one day call themselves the Titans, that same day he vanished and was pronounced dead, he looked sadly at the picture they took a week ago of the Titans and thought Eddie...can you see us? Are you proud of what we've accomplished? We fulfilled your dream Eddie, oh how I wish you could see us and be here. He closed his eyes, he hated remembering that night, sirens blared, there were deafening screams all around, no one saw Eddie get pulled into a portal until it was too late.

He heard a knock at the door and heard Nightwing say, "Beast Boy...it's time to go to the bus stop."

He put the pictures away and replied, "Coming." They were in their civilian identities, it was decided that all the people who were there last time would be there this time, all except one, Megan, Garfield, and Dick waited for their friends to arrive. An hour later Barbara and Jaime stepped off the bus, the two noticed their old friends and waved prompting the trio to wave back, they sat next to Garfield but seemed to ignore Dick.

Jaime smiled and said, "Megan, Sir Garfield, it is nice to see you again."

He turned to Dick and continued, "That's a nice top." Yeah from what he heard when Dick tried to call Jaime a week earlier he concluded they had a falling out when Boy Wonder, more like Boy Blunder all things considered, revealed that they lied about Garfield disbanding the team without talking to them and that revelation was over a year ago maybe. Well at least he tried to be a little pleasant to Dick,

unlike Barbara who said, "Megan, Garfield, missed you two. Sorry I didn't return your letter, I'm really not mad at you two but I had a big test, karate practice, gymnastics practice, Tae Kwon Do practice, all in all it's been a very busy two months and every single time I sat down to reply I'd pass out and my roommate would have to carry me to bed."

Megan asked, "Why would you push yourself so hard?"

She smiled and replied, "I always planned on joining the Teen Titans and when I heard our friend Jason was to be the new Robin well I knew I had to train super hard and help teach him how to fight."

Megan gave them a super wide smile and asked, "You're going to join the team?"

Jaime nodded and replied, "Both of us are, figured it was about time we got out of retirement."

Dick smiled and said, "That's wonderful."

Barbara and Jaime ignored him which led to four minutes of awkward silence before Dick asked, "Did you get the letter telling you I am dating Starfire now?"

Barbara ignored him and said, "Garfield I got your letter telling me that Starfire is dating Richard, well I guess that confirms the theory that opposites attract. Well I can't wait to meet her, from what you told me she sounds sweeter then, and I'm quoting you on this, 'cotton candy'."

Garfield laughed slightly, "Only outside battle, inside battle well combine Wonder Woman with Cassie and you've got a fierce yet sweet alien, she's loads stronger than she looks so look out for her welcome hug or any of her hugs really." That got them to laugh a little, ok good news Barbara doesn't hate Garfield or Megan, bad news she seems to hate Dick, well she was going to join Young Justice so when she learned what he did well let's just say Dick slept with one eye open for a month. Garfield decided not to worry too much about that though, when you're a Teen Titan with someone you're angry at the wounds just heal by themselves, with a little help from friends of course. They headed back to the tower, Jaime and Barbara seem to have forgiven Wally, Roy, and Garth to a good extent, at first Dick was worried that Barb and Star wouldn't get along but it seemed like they immediately hit it off even though Star knew how she felt about her boyfriend. Now they were back to being superhero's, they had a pizza party with thirty pizzas since as everyone knows Kid Flash can eat a whole box by himself, double that for Starfire, Melvin even let Ben have a couple of slices as long as they were cut up and didn't have the crust, just because he can eat anything hard and has since he was little doesn't mean he can't choke. Suddenly there was a knock at the door then someone began ringing the bell then the person began ringing the door bell and knocking on the door frantically. They walked to the door and saw a boy in his teens, he had red skin, dark grey hair, yellow eyes, and had a weird silver pendent on his neck.

Garfield gasped, "Eddie!"

Eddie walked forward and attempted to reach for him as he cried out, "Garfield, h-h-help m-m-me!"

He collapsed into his arms and turned into a pale boy with a black cowl, cape, and jumpsuit causing Jinx to gasp, "Kyd!"

Sorry if it seems like I'm abandoning my stories, I'm not it's just really hard to write because every time I write something like Starfire the red line appears even though I don't have spell check turned on and it can get really annoying so I took a little break and there was school orientation and one problem after another and then plot bunnies started attacking with ideas like a new Ben 10 oneshot, a Thundercats, second version, reboot, a Loonatics Unleashed reboot GAH! So yeah I also decided Kid Devil and Kyd Wykkyd needed to be the same because well plot twist and ugh my head hurts because the plot bunnies are filling my head with new ideas of fanfic ideas for a million more TV shows that I like and I don't want to write more yet but the plot bunnies are making my imagination run a million miles a minute. And before I end this I'll say this,

Me: Curse you Ben 10 for making me like you! And curse you plot bunnies, you and your meddling ways! Ugh now I'm quoting him.
