The First Step To Healing is Admitting

Author: Had not meant for this one to hit so close to home for me but it has. I know Tom is not an ass
but Loki is. Admittance of rape, blood, two gods beating the shit out of each other. Possible triggers.

Loki didn't jump when Thor threw open the door to his cell or even flinch. He had seen the lightning jumping across the walls before he had ever heard his brother stomping down the hall. "Did the green beast beat you in a brawl?" he smirked.

"Release the Hawk." Thor commanded.

"No." Loki said, watching as lightning flashed across the roof of his cell.

"I said... release him. Now!" Thor snapped.

"And I said no. He is MY plaything and I WILL do with him what I wish." Loki hissed.

"Mortals are not playthings or pawns." Thor snarled.

"They are but insects to us. As the one eyed man said: "Ant. Boot." Loki chuckled.

Thor growled deep in his throat and whispered, "The Hawk has done nothing to you."

"He fought with the Avengers to deny me MY birthright!" Loki howled.

Clint twitched and rolled over to bury his face against Tasha's thigh, groaning softly. "He's pissed... really fucking pissed." he whimpered.

"Take it easy Barton." Phil told him, pulling himself up onto the perch beside Tasha.

"Anything else we can do?" Steve asked, sitting on the stairs nearby with a sketchbook in hand.

"I don't know. It might just be a waiting game." Tasha admitted, stroking Clint's hair.

"So what? We wait for Point Break to... beat the shit out of Loki until he lets Clint go?" Tony demanded looking at Tasha.

"Stark... shut up." Clint muttered, lifting his head to shoot a weak glare at Tony and surprising, Tony fell silent.

Loki paced his cell for several moments before turning to look at Thor. "Why so suddenly interested in my Hawk?" he asked.

"He is a friend and a good warrior." Thor said. He was quite fond of the Barton. The archer did not deserve Loki's torture.

Loki cocked his head and read the fondness in his eyes. "Ohh... you fancy the Hawk!" he laughed.

Thor raised an eyebrow at the dark haired god.

"Don't be ashamed. He is quite fun... though you may have to earn his trust, especially after I almost broke him having my way with him. I had never though mortals could scream quite that loudly." Loki chuckled darkly.

Rage shot through Thor at the implications of Loki's words. "You forced him? You RAPED him!?" Thor bellowed, grabbing Loki by the throat.

"Oh yes. And he was great fun, especially when he writhed in pain." Loki coughed.

Thor shoved Loki to the floor and gave him a vicious kick to the ribs. "Release him! NOW!" he roared.

"No." Loki whined. Thor dropped to his knees and slammed his fist into Loki's jaw, splitting his lip. A second punch and blood flowed from the dark haired god's nose. Lightning crackled throughout the room and the resulting thunder was deafening.

"His fever's down." Tasha said, putting the rag that had been resting on Clint's forehead aside.

"I feel better. How long's Thor been gone." Clint asked.

"Over an hour." Phil said.

Clint sat up and took a long drink of water. He was still dizzy but steadily feeling better. Carefully he watched as Tony's eyes roamed over him, memorizing the scars on his arms from the glass window he had gone through during the Chitauri fight. There were three dark raised scars above his left hip and so many more faded ones across his chest and abdomen. Gingerly Tony trailed his fingertips over the trio of scars above his hip. Clint flinched but didn't pull away as lightning lit up the room.

"Are you well friend?" Thor asked, looking from Clint to Tony curiously.

"He's getting there. His fever went down a few minutes ago." Tasha said, watching Tony. This sort of behavior was extremely strange for Stark.

"How'd you flush him out?" Clint asked softly, eyes never leaving Tony's face.

"Forcefully," Thor growled. His eyes darkened dangerously and he whispered, "Loki told me tried to break you... that he..."

Clint swallowed hard and ground his teeth together. He had never wanted to admit what Loki had done to him if he could help it. "He... raped me... several times." he whispered, forcing the words out.

Tasha wrapped her arms around Clint tightly and Phil touched his back. They both wanted to gut Loki, now more than ever.

Steve looked shocked at Clint's confession and the look Thor wore was nothing short of pity.

Banner took a few steps back as the Other Guy roared in rage but didn't try to force the change. The Other Guy actually liked Clint.

Tony stared at Clint for a moment before sliding a hand gently into his hair and resting their foreheads together. "I know I'm sorry doesn't help but..." he whispered.

Clint closed his eyes, relaxed against Tony, Tasha and Phil's touchs before gingerly pressing his hand against the arc reactor. It was warm and a slight vibration make his fingertips tingle. "Thanks." the archer whispered.
