Chapter 11

Hazel kneeled by the gates and looked through them to see what she could.

Which was practically nothing.

Luke was definitely not an idiot. He had guards posted everywhere and there was almost no way she would be able to infiltrate without him finding out.

Hazel frowned, her plan would work as long as nothing unexpected happens. Currently Reyna and Frank were taking a team to the other side of mansion to create a diversion while Will and herself lead a second team to sneak in.

Lastly a third team was on standby with escape vehicles and backup if needed, though Hazel hoped it wouldn't come to that.

Hazel snapped out of her thoughts as a loud alarm went off. She smiled as the guards left their posts to check out what was going on.

Silently she stood and began to climb the fence, her team at her feet. Once they were all on the ground they followed the wall until they found a safe spot to run to the house.

Travis went first so he could pick the lock, once he had it open the rest of the team ran inside.

"Where to now?" Hilary, an Ares child, asked. She pushed her short red hair to the side and blinked her hazel eyes curiously.

Hazel thought for a second, "We should split up. I'll lead a team this way and Will, you lead a team left. Got it?"

"Yes ma'am," The demigods said before splitting and following their respected leaders.

Hazel led the team onwards. She opened a random door to see if she was able to find anyone.

Discouraged at the lack of Leo, Jason and Alex she began turning back so they could escape safely and hope the other team found something.

"This is a little too easy," Holden, a son of Apollo, said. He frowned and looked at Hazel.

Hazel nodded and paused, there was no way Luke wouldn't have noticed them yet.

"Hello."

Hazel froze and turned to face a sword tip. She looked past the sword to discover it's owner and stared eye to eye to the beautiful Selena. Selena motioned and seven more demigods appeared and tied her team up. Selena herself handcuffed Hazel and sent her kneeling to the ground.

"You didn't really believe this plan would work? Did you?" The daughter of Aphrodite asked. She lifted Hazel by the cuffs and led her to a large door.

"I suggest you behave, Luke isn't very happy with you right now. He missed an important meeting because of this ruckus."

Hazel glared at the girl, "Traitor! How could you betray us like this?"

Selena glared, "You are in no position to argue." She warned before pushing open the doors. Hazel gasped when she saw Frank and Will on the ground, their team in handcuffs.

"Is this the last of you?" A cold voice spoke. Hazel looked up to see a scarred blond man in a large royalty-like chair.

Nobody answered.

Luke sighed, "Check the building again and send Charles' team outside to search there."

Selena nodded and left.

Luke smiled at the demigods and sat back, "You save me a lot of trouble from searching you down so thank you."

"You won't win Luke!" Renya growled.

Luke just chuckled at that, "Whatever helps you sleep at night."

Before anyone could respond a door opened.

"Daddy!" a small voice cried. A blur of white appeared and jumped onto Luke. "I'm scared. Why were those loud noises going off?" The little girl sobbed.

Luke almost pouted. A little four year old girl in his arms totally ruined the intimidating nature he was trying to show.

A second later Percy, Alex and Nico appeared. Zero was in Percy's arms asleep.

"You're lucky he didn't wake up," Percy scowled at Luke. "You need to change those alarms. they're way too loud and annoying."

Alex ran up to Hazel and smiled at her, "You're here!" He grinned hugging her. "My daddies are so nice. And Leo and Jason are here too," The boy giggled. He ran up to Nico and lifted his arms.

Nico sighed and put the boy on his hip. "We do not have enough cells for them all."

Luke frowned, "Yeah, well I'll figure something out. Guards throw them all in the prisons except that one," He pointed at Hazel, "This one," Frank, "Those two," The Stroll twins, "that one," Reyna, "And of course them," Will Solace and Michael Yew.

The rest of the group was ushered away.

Nico smiled at them, "Nice to see you again Hazel. How was camp?"

Hazel glared at him, "Traitor!" She spat baring her teeth.

Luke gave her a disapproving look, "Now, now. That is no way to speak to your new queen."

"Queen?" Nico questioned. He frowned, "I am not a girl."

"I know that fact very well," Luke said causing the smaller boy to blush. "But since I am going to be the King of Gods it makes sense for you to be my queen."

"You're not even a God yet and you're already cocky." Percy mumbled.

Luke scowled at that but quickly returned to his composed state.

"Does that mean I can be a princess?" Alayla asked.

"Of course sweetheart," Luke said patting her on the head.

"Once I'm immortal I won't be sick no more." Alayla smiled at the prisoners. "Daddy saved me from those awful Gods. They made me different and sick so I couldn't play with the other kids. Daddy is going to make it so everyone is happy and no one is sick so we can all play together."

Nico chuckled and placed Alex in Luke's lap before approaching Alayla. He untied Will and Michael and helped them up.

"Thank you. You guys did a great job." Nico praised.

Will and Michael bowed. "Anything for a better world."

"You guys were spies?" Hazel asked in disbelief.

"Hey! Don't forget us Nico!" Connor pouted.

Nico chuckled and untied the twins.

"All four of you?" Frank glared at them angrily. "You're traitors!" He shouted.

Frank's yelling woke Zero up. The boy whimpered and pressed himself against Percy.

Travis glared, "I'd rather be a traitor than a coward. The Gods are wrong and Luke can change that. You didn't have to spend every night in the Hermes cabin comforting frightened demigods that would never be claimed or never have a chance to prove themselves. The Gods need to be put in their place!"

Will spoke out before an argument started. "There is another group outside as backup. I'll go tell them to come in. There are still some demigods back at base. What should we do with them?"

"Travis and Michael, you guys go get them. Connor, you go with Will to retrieve the hidden demigods." Luke said.

"Yes sir," The four boys went off to follow orders.

Percy sighed and took a seat on the arm of Luke's chair so he could cradle the blind child easier.

"I can't believe they were spies." Reyna looked down, she trusted them with her life and now…

Luke frowned, "They were spies from the very beginning. Even before Percy was my spy. You can't blame them for sharing the same view as I do. Besides, you three are new campers if I'm not mistaken. You don't know anything about how terrible the Gods treat us."

Reyna stood, "Actually I think I do. I am from the Roman Camp and I can see how much the Gods hurt us. But we wouldn't have been born if it wasn't for them."

"And if they actually cared about us and mortals then they would have never let third world countries starve or Hitler or Mussolini dictate and they would never let a child suffer abuse like Percy did or be born different like Alayla or with a disability like Zero. Nico, Alex and I would never have been used or felt powerless and weak. And that is just us. Hazel, Nico told me how he rescued you from the underworld. You could have lived a happy life with your mother and you could have married Sammy. Frank, you could be living safely with your grandmother and mother. Your life would be in your hands, not depending on a piece of wood. And Reyna, you could be with your sister and happy. The Gods allowed a monster to keep you and twist your mind." Luke said.

That made the three remaining prisoners quiet.

"I assume you saw the video Percy left, correct?" Luke stated. He didn't wait for an answer. "The Gods saw and knew what was happening. That part I know for certain. But they didn't do anything to help. There are thousands if not more just like him still being hurt right now. I can rid the world of rape and murder."

Zero had quieted down by now. He turned his head towards the prisoners and heard gasps of shock as Percy lifted his shirt to show the damage his porcelain skin help.

"You know Alex, son of Neptune/ Poseidon, when we first got him he was malnourished and used to the point where it was just plain sad. Alayla, the beautiful girl in Nico's arms, is the daughter of Artemis/ Diana. Yes the maiden Goddess couldn't even keep her vow. Alayla is albino and that scares people. She is different. Her eyes disgust people so they see her as a demon. And lastly Zero here, son of Hades/ Pluto. He is blind. He was abused as you saw and he could not even see any of his attackers. He was hurt and attacked with no means of defense because to the Gods a blind boy is no use to them." Luke growled.

Zero hid his face in Percy's chest.

Luke stood, "Now look them in the eye and tell them the Gods are right and should continue ruling." He challenged.

Reyna looked down knowing there was no way she could tell a five year old boy that being used was what was best for him.

Frank met Percy's eyes for a second before turning away. He couldn't speak.

Hazel looked at Alayla and Nico. The little girl just looked at her innocently. Her wide eyes seemed more mature than they should. Her pretty blond hair tied into a braid. Hazel looked down as well. That poor child. All of them were so unfortunate.

Luke scoffed, "That's what I thought. Take them to the special prisons."

Alex giggled and pulled Nico along excitedly. Alayla took Nico's other hand and attempted to keep up with her daddy and brother.

Alex pushed open the prison doors and yelled, "Uncle Leo, Daddy Jason! I saw Hazel and Frank and everyone yesterday!" He trailed off when he saw the three prisoners from yesterday there.

Leo chuckled and lifted Alex up. "You did? Where?"

Alex giggled and pointed behind Leo, "They're over there silly."

Leo blew Alex's stomach causing the boy to giggle.

Alayla ran up to Jason and jumped on him. She wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed his cheek.

"Do you like my new dress? Auntie Selena made it for me." Alayla asked as she jumped off Jasons lap and twirled. Her pretty flower print dress floating up slightly as it filled with air.

"I'm jealous," Jason chuckled as the girl spun around some more for good measure. He looked up at Nico, "Where's Zero?"

Nico frowned, "Percy took him to the medic. He started puking blood again. While they're there Percy is going to let his eyes get bandaged so they can start the treatment."

Jason frowned, "And hows Percy?"

Nico looked away and eyed the newest prisoners cautiously. "I'll talk to you later. I just needed to distract the kids for a while until Zero returns. They are quite worried about him."

Jason nodded and continued distracting the cute little girl in front of him. Leo had nodded and played with Alex. Nico just sat at a table and watched sadly. It was easy to tell he was worried.

Hazel, Frank and Reyna sat in a corner not sure how to respond to the situation. Nico was obviously exhausted. He seemed pretty stressed out and tired and worried. The black sword on his hip gleamed as if to say he may look tired but if it comes to it, he will fight as hard as he can.

A couple hours later lunch came and Nico and the kids were still there. Nico was practically a wreck but didn't dare break down for the kids sake and for the sake of his ego.

Hours later dinner arrived. Alayla and Alex had been put down for a nap and Nico just held them tightly as he talked softly with Jason. The kids woke up again an hour later and just stayed in Nico's arms not wanting to move.

"Let's go," Nico stood with Alex on his hip and holding Alayla's hand.

The door open before they could get there. If anyone thought Nico looked bad, Percy was just ten times worse. Zero was asleep in his arms, his eyes had a large bandage covering them.

Nico gave him a questioning look.

Percy frowned and looked down at the boy. "He's in a lot of pain. I finally got him down to sleep. He couldn't swallow the painkillers and was allergic to the cream and so once the numbness was gone… He cried for hours. We're getting new medicine tomorrow. Hopefully that works."

"Daddy? Is Zero going to be okay?" Alayla asked sleepily.

Alex was asleep in Nico's arms and Zero occupied Percy's arms.

Jason lifted Alayla, "I'll take her if you want," he suggested, his voice was unsure.

Neither Percy nor Nico was in the mood to argue. The three of them made their way to the bedroom where Luke was surrounded by piles of paperwork.

"Brazil is stirring trouble. I'm going to fly there tomorrow and talk to them." Luke said as he heard the presence of his lovers.

Nico frowned, "I'll go. You need rest."

Jason raised an eyebrow at that. Luke was falling asleep at the desk.

Percy placed Zero in his bed and stripped his shirt and and pants off before collapsing in bed. Nico followed suit and collapsed next to Alex.

"Just put Alayla in bed with them," Luke said. Jason complied not even questioning how Luke knew he was there. "You can join them too. I'm staying up all night so you won't be able to try anything, not that you would."

Jason sighed, "You should sleep too."

Luke chuckled and turned around, "I can handle a few all nighters. I'll sleep when life is happy."

Jason frowned at that. He pulled Luke out of the chair and put him in the bed. Luke passed out as soon as his head hit the pillow. Jason sighed. The stupid idiots who made him fall in love were working themselves to much. He sat down at the desk and looked down at Luke's paperwork and sighed before lifting a pen.

Luke awoke to Zero's screams and frowned. Jason was at his desk filling out paperwork but he would deal with that later. Percy cradled the boy in his arms. Nico was pulling Alayla and Alex out of the room so they wouldn't have to hear their brother's screams and cries.

Jason sighed and tossed Luke a suit, "The pegasi are waiting in the main lobby for your departure."

Luke blinked at him before nodding his thanks and standing to shower. He blinked at Jason, "Are you…?"

Jason nodded, "Yes, I am officially on team world domination."

Luke couldn't help but smile at that statement.

Percy hushed the boy in his arms and smiled at Jason, "Welcome to hell."

Jason just chuckled at that and left to check if Zero's medicine had arrived yet.

So I believe I got two reviews, one saying they want Reyna to join and the other saying they didn't. The rest either said they didn't care or not even respond.

I am faced with a dilemma. I want to pair Reyna with someone. I usually pair her with Annabeth but I killed Annabeth. Thalia would be my next choice but I killed her too. Maybe Piper though I don't like Piper that much…

I don't know, if I can't figure out what to do with her I could always kill her off…
