I love this chapter because:
1. It has a plot.
And 2. It's twisty (you'll know soon enough.)
And sorry for the short chapter. Next one will be much longer. Enjoy!
((( You all have the permission to murder me. My only request is for it to be quick. )))
Today was Valentine's day. Valentine's day meant the Valentine's day dance. And... well, that meant Mikey was excited.
Mikey mashed her now pink lips together. She wore a long flowy dress with matching flats. She also wore her hair in a tight, elogant bun. With one final wink to her reflected person, she walked downstairs. In the living room was Raph and Casey. Raph wore a velvet red suit with a cream shirt and black tie. It took some will power not to call him a giant piece of cake.
Casey wore a dark green suit with an orange flower that matched Mykal's dress. Raph found this suspicious but they bipassed it as a coincidence. But Raph had his eye out.
Leo and Donnie finally came downstairs. They wore similar suits. Only difference was that Donnie wore navy while Leo wore black.
Finally set, the group left the house. They had to go a few more places before they went to the dance.
"I have a bad feeling about tonight."
"Raph," Casey smirked, "I didn't know giant pieces of red velvet cakes had premonitions."
The group laughed as Raph crossed his arms. "I'm surprised you know that word."
Donnie 'oooh'd' at this and Mike snickered.
"Oh ha-ha."
They stopped by April's. She wore a full body purple dress and her hair was curly. When she stood next to Donnie the group cooed at them, causing them to blush and chuckle nervously.
Next, was Mona Lisa's house. She had on a velvet red, knee length skirt on with a white top. Standing next to Raph, the group continued to where Leo's date supposedly lived.
"You sure you gotta date, Lame-o-nardo? I mean, c'mon."
"Yes, I am positive Rapha-eww."
"Shell brains."
"Dip-shtick"
"Knucklehead."
"Chucklehead."
"H-" Raph was cut off by Donnie.
"Could you guys zip it? Seriously, you're acting like a bunch of shell-fer-brains."
Mikey laughed at this. "Aww, let them have their fun Dumb-atello."
Then, Mikey and Donnie had their own insult war.
Raph shook his head. He turned to Casey, who had been relatively silent the whole time.
"What about you, Case? You got a date?"
"Um... yeah..."
"Oh, so we goin' to her house after this?"
Casey scratched his head. "We... sorta went already."
Raph looked behind him, dumbfounded. The only girl who didn't have a date was Mykal...
Raph laughed out of hysteria, causing everyone to look at him.
"Are you talking about my baby sister?"
"Yep! We're going to the dance together," Mykal said confidently.
Raph was concernly quiet.
"Raph? She's not a baby," Mona Lisa tried to reason.
"It's fine," he replied, making everyone gawk in shock.
"S-seriously?"
"Yeah," Donnie seconded.
"We know where he lives... if there are any problems," Leo said darkly.
He stopped walking and everyone mimiced him. They were in front of a white house. Leo knocked on the door and a girl stepped out. She had shoulder length, midnight hair and matching eyes. Her dress was black and blue and she appeared to have a field of light engulfing her.
"Guys, this is Venus De Milo."
"Hello," they chorused together.
Finally, they reached the dance. It was pretty. There were heart shaped decorations everywhere. There were streamers littering the ceiling like rainbow paper crystals. The dance was held in the gym so there was plenty of room.
It was actually fun. The group either danced, sung the songs that the DJ played, or ate from the enormous buffet table.
Then the lights dimmed and a slow song played. Mikey felt her cheeks burn when Casey pulled her close to him. She felt his heart beat ferociously. She couldn't blame him; she WAS beyond beautiful.
They rocked from side to side, gazing into each other's eyes. He leaned in and she almost paniced. He was a centimeter away from touching her lips with his when she was abruptly snatched away from him. He thought Raph snatched her but Mikey let out a scream that killed his suspicions and he ran after the man. He covered Mikey's mouth, effectively silencing her. Luckily everyone heard the commotion and the brothers immediately ran after their sister.
Leo lunged forward and swiped a punch at the man but he easily dodged it. Raph and Don tried to trip and tackle him until he said something. At the blink of an eye, all three were on the ground holding their throbbing heads. Mikey continued to scream as she was thrown in the back of an old cargo van.
The kidnapper floored the vehicle and it screeched as it sped away.
The boys could only look after it, helpless.
