The Adventures of Thor
It was shortly before dawn when the typhoon struck. Nami was the first one to realize it would happen, but everything escalated too fast. It was almost impossible to get the Sunny stable in this storm. That was when Thor stepped towards the figurehead of the ship.
"I shall not let harm befall you, my friends", he announced, his voice drowning out the sound of the raging elements. The blonde lifted his head, watching the black clouds about them. His blue eyes narrowed.
"I am the God of Thunder, gale. Obey my orders!" he shouted, "Be gone and leave those dear to me alone!" He thrust the hammer in his hand towards the sky. A single lightning bolt erupted from the magical weapon, impaling the swirling clouds above them. The sheer force of the blast pushed the Sunny's bow into the water and stopped the howling winds around them. Seconds later, the entire sky was illuminated by lightning.
But it weren't only a few pillars. Sheets of electricity rained down, crashed into the waves and literally tore the entire storm apart. The thunder that followed was deafening, echoing all over the Grandline and shaking the very air around them.
When Nami lifted her head from where she curled up near her trees, she was startled to see the sky clear. There was not even a single cloud left and the sun rose from behind the horizon as if nothing happened. Even the churning sea had calmed down.
Robin was the first to overcome the shock that held the entire crew in its icy claws.
"That was... incredible..." she whispered, "You just cleared away a natural typhoon... this is impossible." Her eyes locked with Thor's. "Now I see why people thought you were gods."
"Still, I'm afraid the storm drifted us off the original course", the Thunderer explained, "I can only hope we will reach another island."
"No problem there", the Navigator finally admitted, "We're not going to that place Luffy wanted to go to, though. Hey Luffy, is there any problem?"
"..."
"Luffy?"
"That was sooooo coooooooooooool!"

It was later that day when the Thousand Sunny arrived at a rather peaceful looking island. The sky was blue, the sun was shining, birds were singing and flowers were flourishing.
The Strawhats needed supplies and their ship looked harmless enough for them to anchor in the harbour.
That's what they hoped, but suddenly a group of heavily armed men appeared just as they dropped their anchors.
"By the order of Saint Blackwhite it is forbidden for commoners to moor their ships in these sacred grounds!"
"Commoners?!" Nami more or less shouted, "What's that supposed to mean?!"
"You are not of royal blood nor are you accredited merchants. You are not allowed to stay here."
"Listen, we just want to pick up some supplies and go again"
"Everything that is being produced here is for Saint Blackwhite. Only those of noble blood are allowed to take something."
The navigator was about to give them a piece of her mind when Thor put a hand on her shoulder. Nami noticed he was wearing his full armour, despite him not wearing it when casually hanging out on the Sunny.
"This crew is mine", the God called down to the men at the pier, "Thus they have the right to restock their supplies."
"And who are you?"
"I am Thor, the Son of King Odin and Queen Frigga and rightful heir to the Throne of Asgard, the kingdom that rules over the Nine."
That hit home. The originally self-important head guard suddenly deflated. In a hushed voice he ordered one of his men to ask for instructions before he turned towards the Pirates.
"Forgive me, Saint Thor", he said, "But I did not know you were about to arrive here. Of course, have your crew anchor the ship. I will see to their load."
"Good"
The guards scrambled off.
"Wow! That was SUPER!" Franky cheered, "Thor, you're doing that perfectly!"
"Doing what?" the God asked confused.
"Acting like you're a real prince."
"I do not speak in lies, friend. Everything I said is true."
"Wait... you're a prince?" Sanji yelled, "Like real, legit...?!"
"Indeed I am. What else was I supposed to be?"
"Dunno... some sort of Alien Super Warrior?"
Luffy picked his nose at the new information, before suddenly turning pale. "GAAAAH! THOR! YOU'RE JUST LIKE VIVI THEN!" He paused. "Hm. I wonder how she's doing... Vivi... I miss you"
"There, there, Captain-san. I'm sure she's fine and thinking of us."
The snobbish guy returned. "Saint Thor", he explained, "Saint Blackwhite wishes to see you. But only you, since your companions are to load the ship."
Thor nodded and began trailing after the man, but not before turning back to the Pirates and locking his eyes with Luffy. Then he went off.
Luffy became serious all of a sudden.
"Thor wants us to check this island out", the boy explained when they were alone again. "Something stinks."

A pompous carriage stopped in front of a giant castle, just inside the third massive wall surrounding it. Three guards got off before the guest made his debut.
Thor straightened his back, nearly scaring off the guards around him with his pure presence. He wasn't that tall compared to some of the people on the Grandline, but he surely was impressive. His blue eyes narrowed on a small fat guy who sat in a sedan.
"Saint Thor! I am humbled by your presence", he said in a fake sweet voice. Thor frowned upon realizing that this guy was wearing some sort of bubble helmet, but didn't say anything.
"My men informed me that a Noble arrived on my island. I had to meet you in person."
"I only wish to re-supply my ship", Thor cut him short, "After that has been taken care of, I wish to continue travelling."
"Of course, of course. But the voyage across the sea must have been stressful for you, has it not? Why don't you relax in my palace as my guest?"
The God narrowed his eyes. "I am thankful for your offer, but I have to decline. I do not trust you, neither do I trust your men."
"...Excuse me?" the little fat man almost fell off his sedan at the Thunderer's blunt statement.
"You understood well. I do not see you as an honourable man", Thor explained as he turned to go. "I could not see through the windows of your carriage, and it has been covered with material so I could not hear the outside, but still my hearing is better than yours. Your men have been whipping the people outside when they did not move out of the way. Your cannons do not aim out at sea, but at the town. They shall not protect against the marauding pirates, but rather scare the people into obedience. And still your palace is being surrounded by three giant walls in which you have your own paradise. You do not wish to see your people; you wish to be separated from them, to be something better."
Static crackled around the blonde man as he slowly swung his hammer. "You are not worthy of being a host to a son of Asgard."
He whirled the magical weapon over his head, disappearing by flying right over the walls and leaving the flabbergasted Saint and his men behind.

The Strawhat pirates had split up by now. Sanji, Brook, Chopper and Franky were to oversee the harbour and the goods they got. Luffy, Zoro, Nami, Usopp and Robin went to explore the town. They quickly discovered that there were guards everywhere and tried to keep them from going into the town.
What the guards didn't anticipate was that simple guards weren't enough to keep Luffy or Zoro at bay.
And this is why they found themselves just a few streets away from the harbour. The first impression they had of that island was a fake one, they realized. The buildings at the harbour looked tall and impressive, but Robin quickly figured that those were mere dummies: Empty shells with only a nice facade. Behind them was the town of the village people. Every house looked worse than the last one. They all were in dire need of repairs and the people watching them looked weary, most of them chronically malnourished. Their eyes were empty.
"You were right, Luffy", Zoro growled, "Everything here is only show."
"Robin..." the Captain began, "This Saint Guy, he's just like the guy who shot Hachi at Sabaody, right?"
"A World Noble? Most likely", the archaeologist answered.
"They could summon an Admiral, couldn't they?" Usopp asked with shaking legs.
"Would you guys be very angry with me if I went to this idiot and punched him?"
There was a surprised silence when they heard their Captain's statement. Zoro was the first one to react. His blank face twisted into a nightmarish grimace as he crossed his arms over his chest. "I was afraid you wouldn't suggest this possibility at all. I'm with you there, Luffy."
"Me as well", Nami shrugged, "The people need help. And I am not going to turn my back on them."
"Fufufufufu. This certainly sounds interesting. I'm in."
"M-me-me too!" Usopp declared despite his legs shaking like mad, "I will be brave for the people here."
"You think you can just waltz in there?" another voice asked. It appeared to be a woman dressed in dark robes. "We already tried to get into that castle since years. We couldn't do it. And you think you can do it?"
"Who are you?" Zoro growled.
"De'Mordrey", the woman answered, "I'm the head of the local resistance."
"Good. Then sign us up", Luffy demanded, "I'm Monkey D. Luffy, the man who will become Pirate King. And I will punch that Noble off this island." He turned to Usopp. "Get Sanji, Franky, Chopper and Brook. Let's beat that guy up now. He's going on my nerves." The woman was taken back for a moment.
"God. You are serious...are you?" She chuckled as she saw Luffy's determined face. "You really are. God, this is the first time since I've been a little girl that I was amused. Okay, Mister Monkey. Go and try. The walls of that castle have been dug into the bedrock of the island and have been reinforced with Kairoseki. You don't get through there, but if you do, my crew will help you."
"Then call your men to arms", a voice boomed above them. Thor dropped onto the ground the next second, sending debris flying everywhere. "We will go to battle when the sun is setting. We will drive these spineless fools off your land. We will fight for your freedom. And shall we die; we will meet again in Valhalla."
"Then it's settled", Luffy said, "Let's go!"

It was in the late afternoon when the guards on top of the walls noticed a large group of people walking towards them.
Most of the group consisted of village people and those irksome 'rebels'.
However, the ten walking in front of the crowd were neither rebels nor village people. It were the people who came with the ship in the morning. The pirates that sailed under the command of Prince Thor.
And Prince Thor was the one leading the entire group. On his sign, the entire crowd suddenly stopped while he went towards the first wall.
"Listen, soldiers!" he shouted, "If you do not want to be destroyed like your master is going to be, you are free to flee the field of battle."
The guards looked at each other, unsure what to think of this crowd. They were just a bunch of idiots, right? There was no way they could get into-
KRATHOOOOOOM
The sound of thunder made them whip around as they realized a storm was coming. A storm that wasn't supposed to be there at all. This was a nice-weather-island, after all.
And still...
"Heed my warnings!" Thor's voice boomed, drowning out even the thunder in the background, "This is your last chance to abandon your post to get away. If you do not forfeit, you stand in the way of mighty Thor Odinson, the God of Thunder!"
He smashed Mjöllnir into the wall, causing a massive crater in an instant. Lightning raced across the structure and through the ground.
Seconds later, a thunderclap was heard and all of the three walls collapsed without warning.
With the obstacles gone, nothing was going to stop the pirates. Without warning, they stormed the palace.
